The Florida Groves Music Festival is this weekend. Can you still purchase tickets?

The Florida Groves Music Festival is returning for its third year in the heart of Orlando, seeing live performances from both established and emerging artists.

Known for its energetic vibe, the festival will have multiple stages set up, as well as continuous entertainment throughout the day and into the night. Sounds like a good time to you? Here's what to know.

What is the Florida Groves Music Festival?

The Florida Groves Music Festival is a music, art and cannabis festival that takes place over two days in Orlando.

In a prior press release , festival organizers said they seek to create a celebration that "blends cultures, communities, and artistic diversity for a one-of-a-kind experience at the scenic Lawne Lake, just a 10-minute drive from Downtown Orlando."

When and where is the Florida Groves Festival?

The Florida Groves Music Festival will take place on Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14 at the Central Florida Fairgrounds.

Doors for both dates open at 1 p.m., with Saturday's events wrapping up at 10 p.m. and Sunday's ending around 11 p.m.

Can I still buy tickets to the Florida Grove Festival in Orlando?

According to the website, you can still purchase tickets for the festival, including:

• Multi-day passes - $119 plus tax
• Single Day passes - $79 plus tax
• VIP Booths - $1,400 plus tax

You can also head to the box office on the day of the festival to upgrade or purchase additional tickets.

What is the lineup for the Florida Groves Festival?

This year's lineup features several new genres while uniting artists from across the globe. Officials said headliners, German duo Milky Chance and the soulful Michael Franti & Spearhead, promise a "fusion of funk, rock, reggae and electronic vibes."

Other acts, including Tribal Seeds, Atmosphere, Two Feet, Boogie T.Rio, Manic Focus, The Elovaters, 53 Thieves, Passafire, Shwayze, Tropidelic, Cas Haley, and numerous other reggae, jazz, and funk artists will grace the stages, ensuring a rich and unforgettable musical experience for all attendees.

The festival venue offers a unique setting with a massive main stage overlooking the lake, and a second stage that has moved to a shaded pavilion for added comfort.

What other events and activities are at the Florida Groves Music Festival?

Florida Groves Music Festival will have several live art installations to view and the East Coast’s largest on-site glass-blowing demonstration.

"We stand firmly upon three pillars: Music, Art, and Freedom. Our mission is to create a seamless fusion of these pillars, creating an annual celebration that pulses with the rhythm of diverse melodies, showcases the brilliance of artistic expression and innovation, and champions the essence of freedom in all its forms," said the festival organizers.

Other festival highlights include a tattoo convention with 25+ artists, a skateboarding infusion in the Skate Grove, pickleball courts, a cannabis convention, and eco-conscious partnerships to minimize the festival's ecological footprint.

What items are not allowed?

Before heading through the gates on Saturday or Sunday, make sure to review the list of prohibited items, such as:

• Duffle Bags of any size
• Outside food or beverage item
• Alcohol, flasks, outside cans or cups
• Coolers, ice or ice packs
• Bottles, cans, canteens, flasks, or coolers
• Illegal substances, drugs, or drug paraphernalia
• Weapons of any kind including, but not limited to, pocket knives and self-defense sprays
• Weapon accessories of any kind, real or fictional
• Animals or pets
• Flammable lanterns, fireworks or any types of explosives
• Skateboards, scooters, or personalized motor vehicles
• Tents, canopies, umbrellas, chairs
• Professional photo, video, or audio recording equipment

Can I park at the Florida Groves Festival?

Parking is free on Friday, while the other two dates will have parking available from the venue for $20. Ride-share and Transportation Apps are welcome to drop attendees off.

Music in Florida

From blues to jazz to country to metal,  Florida music  is as eclectic as it is full of heart and soul. Over the years, artists, singers, rappers and musical maestros have either come from Florida, made Florida their home or toured extensively in Florida, attracted to the passionate fans, plentiful outdoor concert venues and stopovers at lovely cities near the state’s pretty beaches, campsites, college campuses and other hotspots.

Fans can enjoy  Florida music in festivals  throughout various parts of the state, often in areas that offer campgrounds and other amenities for overnight guests.

The multi-day  Orange Blossom Jamboree , for example, is a held on a gorgeous piece of land in  Brooksville , far from the hustle and bustle of city life so that patrons can relax and enjoy a long weekend of Florida funk and jam bands while making new friends and discovering new favorite musicians.

The state is host to several homegrown blues festivals every year along with the well as some hot-ticket fests filled with national acts.

The  Vans Warped Tour , which makes various stops throughout the state, is popular among teens and young adults for its lineup of alternative and hardcore bands.

Fort Lauderdale ’s Tortuga Music Festival raises awareness for marine conservation while often selling out by drawing some of country music’s biggest stars.

And  Jacksonville ’s Rockville Festival is a metal head’s dream offering a massive two-day lineup of heavy rock bands ranging from the popular to the obscure.

Miami  is host to a number of hip hop, Latin dance and rap festivals that draw hundreds of thousands to south Florida each year.

Music aficionados craving a more intimate concert experience can hit some of the smaller live music venues known for drawing national touring acts that prefer the smaller stages.  Gainesville ,  Tallahassee , downtown  Orlando ,  Tampa ’s  Ybor City  and other areas often draw some of the best alternative rock, blues and alt-country bands from around the country.

But for a true Florida music experience, check out local bands headlining at the smaller bars and cafes.

The 25 Concert Tours You Can’t Afford to Miss This Summer

From the stones to j. lo, pearl jam, journey, foo fighters and robert plant, it’s all about big shows and big stars. grab your tickets now.

After a massive slump during COVID , the concert industry is again sh-boom, sh-booming! The gross for the top 100 North American tours in 2023 reached $6.63 billion, up 39.5 percent over 2022, with attendance nearly doubling, to 15,008 per show, according to Pollstar.

And this year is shaping up to be another box office blowout. Despite the national outrage over price spikes for eggs, airfare and gas , music lovers seem immune to ticket shock. Ticket prices climbed 22 percent last year, to an average of $135.88, compared to $111.49 in 2022. And the trend is pointing skyward.

Taylor Swift’s “Eras” tour and Beyonce’s “Renaissance World” tour ranked first and second last year, but boomer acts remain the tour circuit’s lucrative and reliable summer tentpole, delivering packed arenas and sheds year after year as fans flock to relish the oldies and rekindle the past.

Here are the acts to catch this sunny season.

​Heart (April 20–May 24, Aug. 10–Nov. 22)

Sisters Ann Wilson, 73, and Nancy Wilson, 70, haven’t released an album since 2016’s Beautiful Broken , but they have decades of hits, including “Magic Man,” “Barracuda,” “These Dreams” and “Alone,” to draw from on their “Royal Flush” tour . Cheap Trick opens.

Kenny Chesney (April 20–Aug. 23)

After hitting arenas last year, country star Chesney, 56, has booked 18 stadiums for shows with openers including the Zac Brown Band, Megan Moroney and Uncle Kracker, his duet partner on chart-topper “When the Sun Goes Down.” All but one of the shows are on Saturdays.

​Billy Joel (April 26–Nov. 9)

The Piano Man, 74, has scheduled only 13 dates , four of them at New York’s Madison Square Garden, so ticket stampedes are likely. Fans are curious to know if “Turn the Lights Back On,” Joel’s first single in 17 years, will be added to his hit-heavy repertoire.

​The Rolling Stones (April 28–July 17)

Mick Jagger , 80, Keith Richards, 80, Ron Wood, 76, and company continue their global “Hackney Diamonds” tour , named after last year’s highly praised album , the group’s first batch of originals since 2005’s  A Bigger Bang . Expect  Diamonds  cuts and lots of hits.

​Stevie Nicks (May 3–June 21)

Between Fleetwood Mac’s songbook and her own solo catalog, singer-songwriter Nicks, 75, has a huge well of material to draw from as she extends a tour that started in February. She’s been performing crowd favorites “Landslide,” “Dreams,” “Rhiannon” and “Edge of Seventeen” as well as Tom Petty hits in honor of her late friend.

George Strait (May 4–July 20, Dec. 7)

A touring juggernaut, honky-tonk country singer-songwriter Strait, 71, resumes the record-breaking stadium tour he kicked off in 2023. He’s joined by Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town. The King of Country serves up “his own Eras tour, leading a well-curated, decades-spanning set of songs,” according to  Billboard .

​Roger Daltrey (May 6, June 10–29)

Daltrey, 80, the Who’s charismatic singer, headlines a solo electric and acoustic tour that showcases the British band’s songs, tunes from his own catalog and personal stories. KT Tunstall, Dan Bern and Leslie Mendelson rotate opening slots.

Pearl Jam (May 10–May 30, Aug. 22–Sept. 9)

Seattle’s grunge pioneers (whose average age is 59) have mapped out their high-demand “Dark Matter” world tour to follow the April release of their 12th studio album,  Dark Matter . Ten Club members can register for the presale. Nonmembers? Watch the secondary ticket market sites.

​Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire (May 15–Sept. 7)

The brass-driven rock band and the R&B group join forces for the return of their “Heart & Soul” tour . The night features each legendary act’s full set and culminates in a finale with both on stage.

Lionel Richie (May 23–June 16)

After selling out 2023’s “Sing a Song All Night Long” tour, the soul-pop superstar, 74, returns for another 13 dates , performing solo hits “Hello,” “Dancing on the Ceiling” and “All Night Long” as well as such Commodores classics as “Easy,” “Brick House” and “Three Times a Lady.” With Earth, Wind & Fire ("September," "Boogie Wonderland").

​Red Hot Chili Peppers (May 28–July 30)

The California funk-rock quartet’s exhaustive “Unlimited Love” tour began in 2022 to celebrate that year’s pair of number 1 albums, Unlimited Love and Return of the Dream Canteen . Shows have been a mix of hits and covers of Funkadelic, the Clash, Elton John and others.

​Robert Plant and Alison Krauss (June 2–Sept. 1)

The unlikely duo of the former Led Zeppelin wailer, 75, and bluegrass/country queen, 52, take their eclectic Americana duets on the road . JD McPherson opens the shows and also plays guitar in the band. Plant and Krauss first linked talents for the hit 2007 album  Raising Sand , with a second collaboration,  Raise the Roof , arriving in 2021.

Janet Jackson (June 4–July 30)

The R&B/pop singer, 57, best known for “Control,” “Nasty,” “Miss You Much” and precision choreography, extends her 2023 “Together Again” tour with 35 dates in amphitheaters and arenas. Nelly (“Not in Herre”) opens.

​Alanis Morissette (June 9–Aug. 10)

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of her Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie album, the alt-rock singer, who turns 50 on June 1, is staging the “Triple Moon” tour , featuring guests Joan Jett, 65, and the Blackhearts and Morgan Wade. The album’s standout “Thank U” is likely on the set list, along with Jagged Little Pill selections.

​Foreigner and Styx (June 11–Aug. 28)

Ten years after linking up for their “Soundtrack of Summer” trek, vintage rock bands Foreigner (“Hot Blooded,” “Double Vision,” “I Want to Know What Love Is”) and Styx (“Come Sail Away,” “Lady,” “Mr. Roboto”) are together again for a classic rock showdown they’re calling the “Renegades and Juke Box Heroes” tour. John Waite, 71, is the opener.

Blink-182 (June 20–Aug. 13)

The high-energy pop-punk band, featuring Mark Hoppus, 52, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker, will play stadiums and arenas in support of their album  One More Time…  Dubbed the “Blink-182” tour , it’s a maturity leap from their 1998 outing, the “PooPoo PeePee” tour.

Jennifer Lopez (June 26–Aug. 17)

The “This Is Me … Live: The Greatest Hits” tour , the first outing for J. Lo, 54, since 2019, celebrates her past while also serving up fresh cuts from her February studio album,  This Is Me … Now,  released along with companion films This Is Me … Now: A Love Story and The Greatest Love Story Never Told .

​Journey and Def Leppard (July 6–Sept. 8)

Journey, whose 18-times-platinum “Don’t Stop Believin’ ” was recently crowned the biggest song of all time, co-headlines with fellow legacy rock band Def Leppard on a stadium tour , with rotating guests Heart, the Steve Miller Band and Cheap Trick.

Jewel and Melissa Etheridge (July 11–Oct. 5)

Jewel, 50 on May 23, and Etheridge , 62, team up for a co-headlining tour that spans their catalogs, with emphasis on their ’90s peaks. Jewel will dip into 2022’s  Freewheelin’ Woman , and Etheridge, coming off her “I’m Not Broken” tour , revives “Come to My Window” and “I’m the Only One.”

The Pretenders (July 13–Aug. 14)

The British-American rock band, led by original members Chrissie Hynde , 72, and Martin Chambers, 72, will launch a sprawling world tour to promote last September’s release of their album  Relentless . The set list also dives into a deep bag of hits that include “Brass in Pocket,” “My City Was Gone,” “I’ll Stand by You” and “Precious.”

Foo Fighters (July 17–Aug. 18, May 1–9)

In their biggest headlining U.S. shows so far, the Foo Fighters will play stadiums on their “Everything or Nothing at All” tour , with rotating support acts that include the Hives, L7 and the Pretenders. In 2023, the Seattle band, led by Nirvana member Dave Grohl, 55, released  But Here We Are , its first studio album since the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins in 2022.

Green Day (July 29–Sept. 28)

The punk trio takes on stadiums in its extensive “Saviors” tour , named after the new album that spawned “The American Dream Is Killing Me” and “Look Ma, No Brains!” Openers include Smashing Pumpkins and Rancid.

Pink (Aug. 10–Nov. 23)

The rock belter’s “Summer Carnival” tour , which began last year, covers a wide range of material, from hits “So What,” “Get the Party Started” and “Who Knew” to the title track from her latest album,  Trustfall,  to such covers as Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love” and Janis Joplin’s signature tune “Me and Bobby McGee.”

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band (Aug. 15–Sept. 15)

Many 2023 tour dates were postponed when the Boss called in sick with peptic ulcer disease and E Street members got COVID. Springsteen, 74, is back at work and promising a wider selection of songs than the fairly static set list played earlier in the tour .

​Crowded House (Aug. 29–Sept. 28)

The Australian rock band, best known for “Don’t Dream It’s Over” and “Something So Strong,” will launch its “Gravity Stairs” tour to support its eighth studio album, Gravity Stairs , out May 31. In 2019, a reshuffled lineup added original producer Mitchell Froom and founding member Neil Finn’s sons Liam and Elroy to the lineup.

Aerosmith reschedules Peace Out farewell tour: Dates for 3 Florida shows, how to get tickets

Florida Aerosmith fans will wait just a bit longer to finally say peace out  to the iconic rock band.

The rockers, who postponed their Peace Out farewell tour  after only a few shows in September, will return for a 40-date run starting Sept. 20 of this year.

Three Florida shows are included in this new schedule, all seeing dates in the early half of 2025. As with the original dates,  The Black Crowes  will open for Aerosmith.

When are the new Florida dates for Aerosmith's 'Peace Out' farewell tour? They also added an extra city

The new dates for the Florida shows are:

• Friday, Feb. 14 - Tampa, Amelie Arena
• Monday, Feb. 17 - Sunrise, Amerant Bank Arena

In addition to rescheduling the tour, the band added three cities: Pittsburgh, Orlando and Philadelphia, where their tour kicked off last September.

The Orlando date is Tuesday, Feb. 11 at the Kia Arena, recently renamed from the Amway Center.

Why did Aerosmith have to postpone 2023 tour dates? What happened to Steven Tyler?

On Sept. 12, Tyler initially  announced  that he had a severe vocal injury that occurred during Aerosmith's Saturday show in Long Island, New York.

“I’m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days,” Tyler, 75, said in a  statement  released by the band on Monday. “I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday’s show that led to subsequent bleeding. We’ll need to postpone a few dates so that we can come back and give you the performance you deserve.

However, the band shared in a statement two weeks later that said “Unfortunately, Steven’s vocal injury is more serious than initially thought. His doctor has confirmed that in addition to the damage to his vocal cords, he fractured his larynx which requires ongoing care.”

They shared the rock icon was receiving the best medical treatment available to ensure his recovery is swift, but "given the nature of a fracture, he is being told patience is essential.”

I bought tickets to Aerosmith's 2023 shows. Will my tickets be honored?

All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates, while tickets for the new shows will go on sale at 10 a.m. local time April 12 via  ticketmaster.com .

For those who previously purchased tickets and cannot attend the rescheduled concerts, refunds will be available at point of purchase. A series of VIP packages are also available at  aerosmith.com/VIP.

Are all original Aerosmith members on tour?

Original drummer  Joey Kramer  will be sitting out the band's final tour. John Douglas, Aerosmith's former drum tech, is filling Kramer's seat.

“While Joey Kramer remains a beloved founding member of Aerosmith, he has regrettably made the decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus his full attention on his family and health. Joey’s unmistakable and legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed,” the band said in a statement.

However, fans can look forward to Tyler's yowl and his fellow Toxic Twin, Joe Perry, on the guitar. Brad Whitford and Tom Hamilton remain on guitar and bass.

Concert review: Billy Strings salutes Dickey Betts at sold-out St. Augustine Amphitheatre

When it was time for leavin', Billy Strings threw a big salute to the Ramblin' Man .

Strings closed out his sold-out Friday night show at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre with a salute to Dickey Betts , the Allman Brothers Band guitarist who passed away a day earlier, playing a rollicking "Ramblin' Man" that had fans dancing and crying at the same time.

It came at the end of a 31-song concert that had a packed house on its feet from start to finish and followed a gorgeous "Little Martha," also an Allman Brothers Band song, played by Strings and mandolin player Jarrod Walker as they sat at the edge of the stage.

You can pretty much forget about labeling the music that Strings and his four-piece band play. Bluegrass is about as close as you'll get, but that doesn't quite capture the band's power and versatility. Still, it's guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo and stand-up bass, with no drummer at all, so call it what you want, but Strings has sold out 12 nights at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre over the last four years .

The band plays again Saturday and Sunday nights at the same venue. The shows are all sold out, likely to a lot of the same people who were at Friday's show. Strings typically never repeats a song all weekend, so many fans stay for all three shows.

Strings is about as fast a guitar player as you'll ever see, regardless of genre, but he has a way of always bringing the song back around after going off on a wild solo. He plays everything on an acoustic guitar, stepping on pedals to change the tone, and the results can be a little startling sometimes, making you look for the electric guitar you know you're hearing but isn't there. Some purists give him grief over the use of the effects pedals, but he's still playing every one of those notes, and playing them blazingly fast. His voice is never going to get him invited to join the Metropolitan Opera, but it's just exactly right for the songs he's playing.

You don't necessarily need to love the genre or even know what song the band is playing to enjoy it; most have a tempo that makes you want to go jump on a horse or roll down the windows and stomp on the gas. Songs often turn into "top this!" contests, with the band handing off solos so seamlessly you hardly notice and frequently going around more than once on a tune, turning the crowd into a bouncing sea of tie-dye. Strings on guitar, Walker on mandolin, Royal Masat on bass, Alex Hargreaves on fiddle and Billy Failing on banjo are as tight as a band can be and any of them can bring down the house. Which musician is hottest can change from song to song. Strings is certainly the lynchpin — it's his name on the ticket, after all — but if you removed him from the equation for a song or two, it would still work.

Strings has grown his audience largely by word of mouth; people see him, enjoy the show and bring a friend the following year. He gets almost no radio promotion or national TV appearances but has almost single-handedly pumped life into a genre that hasn't gotten this much attention since "O Brother, Where Art Thou" came out in 2000.

Friday's setlist included plenty of favorites, plus covers of songs from Bob Dylan, Greensky Bluegrass, the Osborne Brothers, Bill Monroe, the Stanley Brothers and the Seldom Scene.

Countdown Campout

Last year, the East Coast got its very own Insomniac New Year's experience.  2021 saw the first iteration of   Countdown Campout , and hopefully its here to stay. The east coast edition of  Countdown   was a wondrous two-day celebration at the Orlando Amphitheater featuring acts like Deadmau5,   ZHU, Flosstradamus, Audien, Gryffin, Valentino Khan, SLANDER, Madeon, Buku, Nitti Gritti, and more.

Dirtybird CampINN

Dirtybird will migrate to the east coast this winter for another edition of   Dirtybird CampINN .  From February 25-27, 2022, fans will flock to Orlando, Florida for a Dirtybird takeover that combines a music festival experience with all of the amenities of resort vacation. The second annual  Dirtybird CampINN  will feature house and bass performances by Chromeo, Claude VonStroke, Dillinja, DJ Premier, DJ Heather B2B Colette, Eats Everything, EPROM, Ivy Lab, Maya Jane Coles, Skream, and Walker & Royce. Check out the full lineup below.

EDC Orlando

Returning to Tinker Field from November 11-13, 2022,   EDC Orlando   is sure to be just as visually and sonically stunning as the 2021 edition. A whimsical union of technology and nature, the world of EDC transports fans to an LED-infused wonderland filled with effervescent stages, colorful super-scultures, and playful circus performers, dancers, and aerialists. Last year hosted top-notch EDM acts like Armin Van Buuren, Tiësto, Kaskade, Seven Lions, Tchami, and more.  EDC Orlando 2021 also included unforgettable sets like Afrojack B2B R3HAB, NGHTMRE B2B SVDDEN DEATH, and Cat Dealers B2B Dubdogsz. Stay tuned for the 2022 lineup. 

Forbidden Kingdom

Embrace a world of fantasy and enter  Forbidden Kingdom . The bass-filled festival is taking over the Orlando Theater at the Central Florida Fairgrounds from May 6-7, 2022. This year's lineup includes heavy-hitters like Excision, REZZ, GRiZ, Subtronics, Diesel, Kayzo, Deathpact, Eptic, LSDream, Zeke Beats, Wooli, and more.  Forbidden Kingdom   will also host a number of special performances like G Jones B2B Eprom, Getter B2B Space Laces, Buku B2B G-REX, Herobust B2B Doctor P, and Virtual Riot B2B Barely Alive B2B PhaseOne. III Points is an eclectic two-day affair at Miami's Mana Wynwood. Across six stages filled with cutting-edge audiovisual technology and unique immersive elements, III Points hosts a mixture of up-and-coming acts and renowned artists from around the globe. A haven for techno and house music, the 2019 lineup featured performances by Rüfüs Du Sol, Eric Prydz, Jamie XX, Kaytranada, Zhu, Black Coffee, Peggy Gou, Thundercat, Cristoph, and more.

Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival

Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is one of Florida's most dynamic and eccentric events of the year. Headlined by REZZ, Tame Impala, Megan Thee Stallion, and Porter Robinson,  Okeechobee   will celebrate its fifth anniversary at Sunshine Grove in Okeechobee, Florida from March 3-6, 2022. Over four days,  Okeechobee   will feature additional performances by GRiZ, Flying Lotus, TroyBoi, Jai Wolf, The Glitch Mob, Sam Gellaitry, CloZee, Kasbo, Eprom, 1788-L, and more.  Okeechobee  will also spend its opening Thursday night honoring the late CharlesTheFirst and will later host a special performance by Lab Group on Saturday. 

Skyline Music Festival is coming to Orlando this spring. From May 27-28, Skyline will takeover the Orlando Amphitheater at the Central Florida Fairgrounds for two days of non-stop dancing. Presented by Factory 93 and Day Trip, Skyline  is geared towards fans of house and techno music, highlighting favorites and rising stars like Adam Beyer, Bob Moses, Channel Tres, Chris Lake, Cloonee, Eric Prydz, Green Velvet, Hot Since 92, HoneyLuv, J. Worra, TSHA, Will Clarke, and Zhu. 

Sunset Music Festival

Sunset Music Festival   is back and bigger than ever. Expanding into a three-day event,   Sunset Music Festival   will return to Tampa, Florida from May 27-29, 2022. Taking place at the Raymond James Stadium,  the premier summertime festival provides fans with a sensory overload through top-notch visual and audio production. The Memorial Day Weekend festival will include performances by Skrillex, Diplo, Dillon Francis, Gryffin, Valentino Khan, Duke Dumont, Liquid Stranger, Malaa, Gorgon City, Moore Kismet, and more.  Check out the Phase 1 lineup below.

Suwanee Hulaween

Suwanee   Hulaween   is Florida's ultimate   Halloweekend festivity. The hallowed EDM and jam band festival is set to   return to Live Oak, Florida from October 27-30, 2022. Hosted by The String Cheese Incident, the annual music and camping festival is held at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park.The 2022 lineup has yet to be released but will surely impress. Last year's edition featured the likes of Skrillex, Zeds Dead, Bonobo, Chris Lake, Claude VonStroke, and more. 

Ultra Music Festival

The pinnacle of EDM festivals is finally back.   Ultra Music Festival   is set to return to Miami's Bayfront Park from March 25-27, 2022 with an incredible lineup. This year's edition of  Ultra Miami  will host headline performances by Afrojack, Alison Wonderland, Alesso, Armin Van Buuren, Boris Brejcha, David Guetta, DJ Snake, Illenium, Knife Party, Kygo, Martin Garrix, Madeon, Nicky Romero, SLANDER, Seven Lions, Tiësto, and more. Fans will be intrigued by joint sets by Jauz B2B NGHTMRE, Vintage Culture B2B Claptone, JOYRYDE B2B Ghastly, Mija B2B GG Magree, and 4B B2B SAYMYNAME.  Ultra  will host a variety of stage takeovers by Armin Can Buuren's A State Of Trance, Martin Garrix's STMPD RCRDS, Carl Cox's MegaStructure, NGHTMRE and SLANDER's Gud Vibrations, Boris Brejcha's Fckng Serious, and DJ Coone's Dirty Workz.  Check out the full lineup below.

Famous Rapper Has Hilariously Poor Attendance At Free Concert

Nelly concerts don't seem to have much appeal these days.

There was a time in the early 2000s when Nelly was one of the biggest names in the rap game. He released hit after hit, but his flame might be burning a bit dimmer in 2024.

He performed a free concert at the University of Florida earlier in the week, and to say it drew a low turnout would be a hell of an understatement.

Not many people show up for Nelly concert.

Barstool Sports shared a TikTok video of the "Hot In Here" rapper performing, and when I say almost nobody showed up, I mean it.

It appeared like there were a few dozen people at most at the show. Check out the borderline embarrassing video below, and hit me with your thoughts at [email protected] .

Young people reading this might not realize just how big Nelly was 20+ years ago. There was a time when you couldn't turn on the radio without hearing his music.

Hell, you couldn't listen to a middle school basketball warm up playlist without Nelly being on that, and I know that because he was all over our playlists in rural Wisconsin.

He rapped about a party lifestyle, and it resonated with pretty much everyone who gave it a shot. How can you not enjoy "Air Force Ones"?

Now, he goes to the University of Florida for a free concert and barely anyone shows up. It's definitely not 2002 anymore. Not even close.

He's a long time removed from releasing banger after banger.

Hopefully, nobody showing at a free UF concert is a one off and not the new normal. Nelly is too entertaining to be performing in front of sparse crowds. Let me know your thoughts at [email protected] .
