Experience Amish Culture Holmes County, Ohio
Amish Table Talk is the longest running backroad tour company in Holmes County, Ohio
In 1991, it began offering 1 hour tours under the name of "Buggy Trail Tours" After a while, visitors thought we gave buggy rides, so the name was changed to Amish Culture Tours. As we began to grow, so did opportunities that expanded into surrounding county businesses with regard to tourism. The name then changed to Amish Heartland Tours. In September of 2015, the group tour market of motorcoach tours was sold and the new buyer retained the business name of Amish Heartland Tours.
Today, we are still passionate about sharing our beautiful area with visitors past, present and future who wish to experience Amish Country like never before.
We hope you enjoy your Amish Table Talk Experience!

La Vonne,
I wanted to thank you for the beautiful experience at David and Mary's home yesterday. It was the highlight of my 91 year old mother in law's trip. The Hershberger family was so welcoming to all of us and so kind and thoughtful with Jane. Steve and I will definitely be back and book another meal with you. I pray that God richly blesses you and your business. Sept 17, 2024

Dear La Vonne,
After finally tracking you down, we were glad to hear you are still offering your tours. You personalize them so well and your knowledge is very interesting! My relatives from Kentucky said it was by far the best experience they have had with regard to a tour. I cant relieve how many things have changed since the last time we saw you. (Over 20 years ago). Taking us to the meal was very much appreciated too. What a memorable evening with the family!

Hi La Vonne,
The bread making class was fantastic! My sister and I have always wanted to learn how to make bread like the Amish. I did not know there was a "secret" ingredient! We have since made bread at least twice a week. Thank you for offering this unique opportunity to people.

Upon googling "unique experiences to do in Amish County, Ohio", basket making popped up, as I wanted something other that the traditional tourist spots. I am so glad I inquired. The whole process was easy and La Vonne was incredibly helpful with setup and even provided further recommendations on what to do in Amish Country. My husband and I truly enjoyed taking the basket making experience with Anna. It was the highlight of our day. We both learned SO much about their culture and of course basket making in sich a short time!
Anna is a fabulous and personable teacher. One could truly sense her passion! Anna even answered all of our crazy questions!
