Swedish Beach Tour (SBT), StayLive och Volleykanalen går samman för att leverera sändningar från sommarens alla elittourstopp. StayLive bidrar med plattform och tekniska lösningar medan Volleykanalen ansvarar för produktionen som kablas ut till tittarna.

– Vi gläds över det nya samarbetet som tryggar fortsatt streaming av Swedish Beach Tours alla 4- och 5-stjärniga tävlingar, där den svenska beachvolleyeliten gör upp. I StayLive och Volleykanalen får vi två kunniga partners att samspela med och vi ser tillsammans fram emot att leverera bra streaming sommaren igenom; från kommande helgs premiär i Ljungby, hela vägen till SBT-säsongens stora crescendo – tourfinalen i Kalmar, säger Anton Andersson.

Arbetet inför första tourstoppet till helgen har flutit på bra och förhoppningsvis är detta starten på en lång resa tillsammans. Sändningarna görs från centercourten där de intressantaste matcherna utspelar sig, inklusive semifinal- och finalmatcherna från sommarens alla tourstopp. Volleykanalen levererar flerkameraproduktion med reprismaskin och lägger även på kommentering från semifinalspelet och framåt.

– Det känns bra att ha fått till ett sändningsavtal för beachtouren i år igen! Med några enstaka undantag har Volleykanalen bevakat Swedish Beach Tour varje sommar ända sedan 2007, så det har liksom blivit en stor del av kanalens verksamhet och identitet genom åren. Att det i år blir under lite andra former och mer fokuserat på centercourt än tidigare, gör att det i stället går att göra andra saker som det inte riktigt funnits tid och energi till förut. Det ska bli intressant att se hur bevakningen av årets beachvolleysäsong utvecklar sig, säger Magnus Gripenhammar på Volleykanalen.

Om Swedish Beach Tour (SBT)

SBT:s elittour reser varje år land och rike runt till underbara svenska sommarstäder. Där gör Sveriges främsta lag gör upp om ära, prispengar och stora mängder rankingpoäng på en inramad centercourt som blir en mötesplats där livesporten, musiken, besökarna, sponsorerna och sidoevents tillsammans skapar en attraktiv helhetsupplevelse.

SBT utgör grunden i Svenska Volleybollförbundets tävlingssystem för beachvolley, som rymmer tävlingar för alltifrån nybörjare och glada amatörer, hela vägen upp till spelare som satsar mot svensk elit och internationell karriär. SBT består av totalt fem tävlingsnivåer och liknar i mångt och mycket ett seriesystem med en tydlig utvecklingsstege för både spelare och arrangörer. De olika tävlingsnivåerna särskiljs med stjärnor från 1-5, där antalet stjärnor markerar nivån på tävlingen; ju fler stjärnor, desto högre nivå. 4- och 5-stjärniga tävlingar ingår i elittouren.
