Captain Greg was amazing! He more than just a boat captain. He's a lover and true advocate of the sea. We had a great time truly experiencing all the Gulf and Long Bayou had to offer. So glad for his expertise. We will definitely be back again & again. Highly recommend & very kid friendly!
Greg was so great! I can't wait to come back to Florida and head back out on the water. My oldest and his significant other moved to Tampa about 6 months ago, so my husband and I and our other 3 kiddos came to the area to see him for a week. We stayed on the beach in Indian Shores, and I really wanted a water experience for all of us that wasn't on a large boat with a lot of other tourists. Looking for a private "captain" close to our beach house, and that's how we found Greg. We saw dolphins within the first 10 minutes on the pontoon. :) After perching on the sand bar and getting off the pontoon to look for shells and sealife, that's when the fun for the family really started. Greg explained the different types of birds in the area, the type of shells we may find. The kids were absolutely enthralled (ages 13-24). Greg was so friendly, informative and just plain fun. I highly recommend going out on his pontoon!

We were fortunate enough to find Captain Greg and book a family day out on the water. From our first contact Greg was professional, knowledgeable, and a fantastic host. He got right back to us on all booking questions, listened to what we were looking for, and ensured the trip exceeded our expectations. First off, we caught an absolute perfect 10 of a day. Clear glassy water, beautiful sunny skies. Captain Greg was so warm and welcoming to our 5 and 1.5 year olds. He told us interesting tid bits about everything we passed from birds, boats, waterfront homes, landmarks, etc. The boat itself was awesome, super comfortable, easy to board and plenty of room to stretch out and get cozy. We saw several dolphins, pelicans, heron, and other wildlife. We were able to cruise nearby to a very friendly dolphin for a while, he was playing games with us and seemed like he wanted to hang out! The sand bar was full of life, cool shells, crabs, sea urchins, and other neat things. Our 5yo was enthralled with every minute of it. He couldn't stop talking to Greg the whole time. Overall, this was one of the best things we have ever done on a family trip. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting the Clearwater / St Pete area.
If you are in the Treasure Island, Fl and want an on-water experience, skip the tourist trap sunset dinner and the crowded catamaran cruises and give friendly Captain Greg a call and reserve his comfortable and safe pontoon boat. Captain Greg will tailor an on-water experience to your liking and budget. I found Captain Greg by happenstance via Google search and I am so glad I did. I wanted a sunset cruise for the beautiful and gracious Karla as a birthday treat. Capt Greg gave us a tour around Treasure Island highlighting points of interest, homes with unique landscape touches and even stopping and jumping into shallow water to show us sea life. The pièce de résistance of the very enjoyable cruise was heading into the gulf to witness a beautiful sunset. Give Captain Greg a call..he is what floats your boat.
We had a fabulous time on our Sandbar dolphin boat ride with Captain Greg. It was my husband, teen daughter and Mother in law along for the ride. Greg promptly texted me back with available times and prices. We booked without a deposit which is so nice of Greg to do. He was right on time with a spotlessly clean and comfortable boat to begin our journey. He was extremely knowledgable with a great sense of humor. We saw a pod of dolpins right off the bat playing in the wake of a large passing boat. That was worth it right there for me! We got to see and hold so many neat sea creatures at the sand bar. My daughter fell in love with a spider crab that she named Eugene (SpongeBob reference) and was sad that she had to part with it. I would highly recommend this tour...you wil not be disappointed. Captain Greg's love for the sea shines through the entire journey! We will be back for the sunset tour next time for sure!
Captain Greg was the most amazing host! My mother is not fond of the water but she felt very comfortable in his pontoon which was in immaculate condition. We brought my 5 year old who was so excited to see dolphins up close playing near the boat. It was a once in a lifetime experience and Captain Greg was VERY knowledgeable about the sea creatures we encountered and the art of boating. The sandbar was definitely the highlight of the trip! We were able to wander the sandbar and find lots of unique sea life! The pictures and videos do not do this excursion justice! This was definitely the best part of our trip to Tampa!

Capt Greg was fantastic. Welcoming and informative. I booked him via email and he was able to accommodate myself and my niece in two days notice. Highly recommend.
Captain Greg was amazing with my family and me. He was able to weave in nature information while showing us a great sunset. He is clearly a really nice guy and I would absolutely recommend him for any engagements. Thanks to you Greg and I hope they many others see what a fabulous guide that you are.
