Everybody was really nice and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located in a nice area of Medellin and makes it really easy to go to the metro and travel around the city. The bed was small but besides that the room and its decoration was awesome.

Hotel Dorado La 70 was an amazing introduction to Medellin. The neighborhood is awesome, with tons of restaurants and bars. Breakfast was fantastic. Views from our balcony and rooftop were stunning. Wifi is great (80 mbps in our room).

We enjoyed our stay at the Park 10. It is in a very good location in close walking distance from some great restaurants (eg, Carmen). The staff were all very nice and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. I feel the hotel is a little dated and the rooms are probably due for a refurbishment but overall a nice stay.

Everything great, especially great staff. Only two things to criticize: 1.the breakfast (especially the bread/toast) is not at the same level as the hotel is. 2. The room with terrase has a TV but you can not watch because the bed is not in front of the TV, and the TV is not movable

Breakfast was excellent. They had cereals, fruits, bread , chesse, boiled eggs, (there is a person cooking omelets which were delicious!). The rooms were spacious, very clean and were not noisy. I recommend it and definitely will come back again.

I was seeking for hotels where pets are allowed... but no privat bathrioms is a no go. especialy when traveling with cat is cleanness very important and a bathroom in the room needed... cats are terfified by traveling... a bath must be accessable without opening a door. I needed a quick place to stay for one night as I was in the city for business. The hosts were very accomodating and helped to ensure that I had a good internet connection.

Hostel was close to where we wanted to be. Rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were friendly. The shared bathroom we had on the third floor has a broken shower head so we had to shower from the open pipe from the wall. At the time we showered there was no hot water. I was a bit disturbing when I arrived at Medellín but the staff of this hôtel was very helpfull and charming that maked my stay way more confortable and enjoying You cannot get women more welcoming and cosy at the reception desk... it was a really great and inexpected experience I recomend for sure ! !!

The first night there I was unknowingly in the wrong bed and as a result when coming back to the hostel in the afternoon I found someone else on my bed. While changing beds didn't bother me it was the fact that no one seemed to know what had been done with my clothing and towel that i had left on it. It took a good 10 minutes before someone thought that maybe they had been put in the left behind bag. Surely that would be the first place you look! It was an unneeded annoying spell but other than that and one particularly slow guy on the front desk it was a very pleasent stay.

Great stay. The location/street is a bit gritty, though centrally located if you want to check out Medellin's centre. Hotel itself is fine, and if you're a backpacker of low-budget traveller I can very much recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay here. The staff are so friendly and helpful and some speak a little english. Room was clean and modern with large windows and private bathroom (have to run shower for ages to get hot water). Got wifi in the room. Free use of jacuzzi on top floor (need to book a time) with nice views of the city. Location is not central but taxi was not over $4 to get into town (ie. el poblano). Taxi driver said area was dodgy but we found it fine with lots of cheap local restaurants - even though its clearly in the red light district, we felt safe although didn't venture out late. Would recommend this hotel if you want quality accomodation at a budget price and don't mind short taxi journeys to get to the attractions.

The staff was very friendly and professional and the hotel was clean. The staff helped to accomodate my need to keep my insulin cold. They made certain that I had everything I might need even though I speak very litttle Spanish.

This had to have been the worst hotel in have ever been to. The room was the size of a jail cell and the staff knew absolutely no English. They were very rude and not helpful even when translator was used. The stench of the hotel was horrific. If you are in dire need of a hotel I would use this as a last resort next to sleeping outside.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mayorca; the couple who runs it are caring and treat you like family. They always had time to sit down and chat, and practice Spanish with. Stella makes excellent breakfasts and goes out of her way to make sure you enjoy Medellin. When we visit the city in the future, we will stay with them again.

Know going into it that the hotel is not in the high end El Poblado neighborhood, but it is two blocks from metro. Downstairs restaurant fantastic, rooftop area a must visit at night. Loved our stay here.

The hotel is a very clean & pleasant place to stay. They include breakfast & the employees have a helpful attitude. It would be very advantageous to understand Spanish.

If you want a hotel that's located in a nice pleasant residential area...and where it's not full of guests, this is the place! Not near the subway station but the area offers a good variety of eating spots and a better feel than Poblado's.

The young know-it-all at reception insisted on charging me 19% room tax, even though it was not applicable to me as clearly indicated by my passport entry stamp. Also, an "insurance" levy was tacked on per night, even though I was not asked if I wanted it when I checked in. I would not stay at this hotel again.
