Ich trauere dem Konzert immer noch hinterher und es ist fast ein Jahr her. BMTH war wie immer Mega und die Setlist war toll. Unbeschreibliche Atmosphäre!!!!

Wirklich toll. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. War mein Geburtstagsgeschenk. Die Halle ist super. Riesengroß und hatte genug Platz für uns alle, leider ist die Parksituation ziemlich schlecht dort.

Absolut empfehlenswert

Die Konzerte sind der hammer, Oliver sykes hat do eine starke Stimme, die ins Herz geht. Besser als jede Medizin

BMTH ist nach wie vor eine der heißesten alternativen Bands weltweit. Deutschland ist regelmäßig Reiseziel der britischen Band – erst im Sommer diesen Jahres konnten Fans die Gruppe auf den Festivals Rock am Ring und Rock im Park erleben. Wer sich schon jetzt Tickets für 2024 sichern will, der liest in diesem Artikel, wann Bring Me The Horizon im nächsten Jahr nach Deutschland kommt.

Bring Me The Horizon: Festival-Headliner 2024

BMTH spielen schon lange nicht mehr auf den kleinen Bühnen – spätestens mit dem Album „That's The Spirit“ sind sie im Mainstream angekommen. Das Einschlagen einer poppigeren Musikrichtung hat sich absolut gelohnt: 2024 headlinen Bring Me The Horizon neben K.I.Z., Ed Sheeran und Avril Lavigne das Hurricane sowie das Southside Festival .

Das erste Event findet vom 21. bis zum 23. Juni 2024 im Eichenring in Scheeßel, Niedersachsen, statt. Bring Me The Horizon spielt am Sonntag auf dem Hurricane Festival . Tickets gibt es schon jetzt, noch liegt der Preis für den Festivalpass bei 239 Euro pro Person.

Zeitgleich wird vom 21. bis zum 23. Juni das Southside Festival in Neuhausen ob Eck ausgerichtet. Das Line-Up ist zu großen Teilen identisch, auch in Neuhausen spielen Ed Sheeran, Avril Lavigne, K.I.Z. und Bring Me The Horizon – BMTH ist hier schon am Freitag dran . Auch für das Southside Festival sind bereits Tickets verfügbar, der Festivalpass kostet in der 4. Preisstufe mit 259 Euro schon etwas mehr als fürs Hurricane.

BMTH: Wann kommt ein neues Album?

Eigentlich sollte das neueste Album der Jungs aus Sheffield bereits im September 2023 erscheinen . Das Nachfolgeralbum des von der Kritik gepriesenen „Post Human: Survival Horror“ soll „Post Human: NeX GEn“ heißen und derzeit zumindest schon digital rauf- und runtergehört werden.

Der externe Inhalt kann nicht angezeigt werden.

Laut der Band liegt die Verspätung an „unvorhergesehenen Umständen“: Das Album sei noch nicht perfekt genug , um es den Fans zu präsentieren. Wollt ihr euch schon jetzt einen Vorgeschmack auf „NeX Gen“ holen, sind die folgenden – vielleicht für das Album geplanten –Songs bereits als Appetithäppchen auf Spotify und Co. verfügbar: „ DiE4U “, „ sTraNgeRs “, „ LosT “ und „ AmEN! “.

Ein genauer Termin ist noch nicht bekannt, es soll aber „bald“ so weit sein. Vermutlich können wir aber erst 2024 damit rechnen – am 12. Januar 2024 soll die physische Version erscheinen , aber auch dieser Termin wird wahrscheinlich von der Verspätung betroffen sein. Eine Tour ist derzeit noch nicht bekanntgegeben, eine Ankündigung zum Album-Release ist allerdings wahrscheinlich.

The COVID pandemic continues to lead to tour delays

Bring Me The Horizon have rescheduled their 2022 European tour to the same month in 2023 due to ongoing uncertainties around the COVID pandemic.

The metal band’s tour, which is in support of their latest release, the 2020 EP ‘Post Human: Survival Horror’, was due to kick off in Antwerp, Belgium on February 1.

But the band announced on social media today (January 18) that the 18-date tour has been postponed to next year. “We want to bring you the whole show with no holding back – the true Post Human experience – but we need to do it safely,” they wrote in explaining the decision to move the tour.

Several of the original venues have been altered to accommodate the new dates.

Bring Me The Horizon’s-curated festival in Malta , which takes place from May 26-30 with guests Bullet For My Valentine , Beartooth ,  PVRIS , Motionless In White, Spiritbox,  Nova Twins  and  Wargasm , is still set to go ahead as planned.

The band are also due to headline this year’s Reading & Leeds festival in August.

Frontman Oli Skyes told NME last December : “It’s fucking mental isn’t it? I’ve never been so buzzed-out. When we got that email I was like, really? That’s not real. And Arctic Monkeys as well? It’s just going to be fucking wild, that.

He continued: “It feels like such a rock-y line-up next year. Some of the Reading & Leeds purists from 10 years ago are like, ‘Oh, it’s not the same any more!’ This feels like a proper classic Reading & Leeds line-up, do you know what I mean?”

Asked about what to expect from their set, Sykes said: “We’re gonna go hard. We’ll make sure it’s insane. I’ve always said that we’d play it when we’ve earned it, and it’s finally come. We have the songs, we have the bangers, and we might not be a household name but I know that we can put on a show that’s festival-headline quality.”

The Sheffield metal titans were last year confirmed to be topping the bill for the first time  at the legendary twin-site event, along with fellow headliners  Arctic Monkeys ,  Halsey ,  Dave ,  Megan Thee Stallion  and  Rage Against The Machine.

this show was super super good! i didn’t have GA and bought practically the last row of seats, but one of security guards gave me and my girlfriend tickets for seats that were 19 rows closer, the energy was amazing and everyone was super nice! i could see so much from the new seats and was super happy!!! the pits were cool, a little sad more towards the end, but funny to watch people were narato running through them and were acting like airplanes running through them and whenever someone fell the other people picked them right up and they kept going, really fun to watch!!!!! oli came into the crown during drown and not just through the floor but through the stands too and i was super close to him!!!!! plus the person who came up on stage to sing antivist knew all the lyrics and had super good energy and was ready to keep the crowd hyped and people were still dancing and moshing while he was singing!

This show ranks among the most disappointing of my life.

That's not to say that the music itself was anything less than phenomenal, but there were so many on-stage distractions that they actually took away from the performance.

THEY HAD BACKUP DANCERS, Y'ALL!!!! And, I'm not taking Destiny's Child caliber dancers. Ohh no. Imagine, if you would, please a forth-grade single-day cheer camp. Yep :-/ That's not an exaggeration. The dancers were horrific to the point of insulting.

Should I be able to stop there, it might have been redeemable.

Sadly, I cannot.

The stage is backed by video monitors, and upon said screens plays this stream-of-consciousness screensaver. It felt rather like those daydreams one wakes from with a start.

They. Were. Awful.

In order to enjoy the music, I had to close my eyes, because there was so much distracting from it.

VERY DISAPPOINTING.

The show last night was beyond words.. Whenever BMTH comes to town here in Denver they always bring their A game with them!! I highly recommend seeing this band if they ever are in your state because they know how to put on a hell of a show!!! My favorite part of the show had to be when they ended up playing an encore as the crowd was chanting "we will never sleep cause sleepings for the weak no we will never rest until we are all f***ing dead" I don't think they could let a crowd down that was that energetic and responsive torwds the band,surely the band didn't dissapoint us at all and came back out from back stage to win all our hearts and finished the show off with thrones. BMTH also had suprised everyone in the audience with giant confetti flying in the air everywhere as the song climaxed to the final chorus. What a show for the books and i had no idea that so many people would attend the show lastnight. This was my second time seeing them play live, I didn't really care much for the opening bands thou.. I miss the days when parkway drive would open up for them back at the summit music hall.

Bring Me The Horizon postpone European tour to 2023

Bring Me The Horizon’s European tour with A Day To Remember and POORSTACY has been pushed back a whole year (and it looks like it’ll no longer feature Lorna Shore).

Bring Me The Horizon have pushed back their European tour – which was originally due to start in February .

The Survival Horror run will now take place next year instead, with the band sharing in a statement : "Unfortunately due to the ongoing COVID situation across Europe, our February EU headline tour needs to be postponed.

"We want to bring you the full show with no holding back – the true Post Human experience – but we need to do it safely.

"Updates on Lyon and Budapest will be coming soon.

"See you there."

Fall Out Boy + Bring Me the Horizon Announce 2023 North American Tour

Fall Out Boy are hitting the road with Bring Me the Horizon  this year. The two just announced a set of 2023 North American tour dates together. Alkaline Trio will join them for three of the shows. The package includes several concerts at major stadiums.

Plus, additional bands New Found Glory, Four Year Strong, The Academy Is…, Royal & The Serpent, Games We Play, Daisy Grenade and Carr will provide further support on select dates on the trek.

Last week, Fall Out Boy  teased the tour with a video showing venues displaying the newly adopted Fall Out Boy proverb,  "If you build it, they will come."  They later  shared an image resembling BMTH's  That's the Spirit album artwork with the caption, "Things are looking overcast on the horizon. Check back tomorrow [Jan. 31] to see if weather conditions improve."

Last month, Fall Out Boy announced So Much (for) Stardust , their forthcoming eighth studio album. It features " Love From the Other Side " and " Heartbreak Feels So Good ," both released in January. Fall Out Boy heavily  teased the album earlier this year.

Two weeks ago, founding Fall Out Boy guitarist Joe Trohman revealed that he was taking a break from the band for mental health reasons. Fall Out Boy singer-guitarist Patrick Stump , bassist Pete Wentz and drummer Andy Hurley supported his decision.

"It pains me to make this decision, especially when we are releasing a new album that fills me with great pride," Trohman said  in a statement on Jan. 18.

Meanwhile, Bring Me the Horizon's latest full length,  POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR came out in 2020 and has been succeeded by a number of singles, the most recent being "STraNgeRs."
