The oil-rich Gulf countries aren’t exactly renowned as havens for budget travel. But while tiny Qatar is estimated to be the world’s wealthiest nation per capita, it doesn’t have to be the most expensive country you ever set foot in.

So is Qatar cheap to visit? While a lack of hostels and notoriously pricey drinks can quickly bump up travel costs, you’ll find plenty of ways to make your riyals stretch further. Qatar’s public transport is blessedly inexpensive, affordable eats abound, and even booze can be a bargain if you know where (and when) to look.

Keep an eye out for epic stopover deals

Qatar Airways offers wildly cheap stopover deals in partnership with Discover Qatar from as little as US$14 for one night, including four-star accommodation. With a standard four-night stopover starting at just US$69, it’s a brilliant opportunity to get a taste of Qatar for a pittance.

Consider couch surfing

If you’re not visiting Qatar on a stopover deal, accommodations are likely to be your biggest expense. With a hostel scene yet to take off in this corner of the Arabian Peninsula, couch surfing is worth considering if you’re on a particularly tight budget. With more than 18,000 registered hosts on the Couchsurfing platform in Qatar (most of them expats), you’ll find plenty of options.

Privately rented rooms and apartments are also sometimes cheaper than hotels.

Note Qatar’s peak periods and avoid them

Accommodations and regional flight prices tend to increase during Qatar’s busy cooler months (November to February), during the two Eid holiday weeks, and on weekends, which in Qatar means Friday and Saturday.

Embrace the cheap and efficient Doha Metro

Uber is surprisingly cheap in Qatar, but it can’t compete cost-wise with the gleaming new Doha Metro, with rides costing just QR2 per trip (even to and from the airport) and capped at QR6 per day. Simply purchase a standard Qatar Railcard for QR10, top it up in increments of QR5, and zip around the capital Doha and sister city Lusail for peanuts.

A line of turquoise buses line up along the Corniche of Doha at the Qatar National Day

Use public buses to explore beyond Doha

Attractions beyond the Doha Metro, such as Unesco-listed Al Zubarah Fort , are cheaper to visit by public Karwa bus than on an organized tour, but it can be slow going because of reduced speed limits for buses on major highways. With few opportunities to purchase food and drinks at remote attractions, it’s worth grabbing snacks at a grocery store before setting off.

Save alcohol for happy hour

With a standard glass of wine costing the equivalent of around US$15, travel budgets can be blown quickly in the hotel bars and restaurants of Qatar, which are currently the only venues where visitors can purchase alcohol. But unless it’s Ramadan, when bars are closed, it’s still possible to drink on a budget.

Just about every bar in the country hosts a generous happy hour from around 5pm to 8pm daily, when drinks and food are typically discounted by 30%. Some venues also offer special deals such as ladies’ nights, when women drink for free.

Drink tap water and save plastic and money

Qatar’s obsession with single-use plastic bottles isn’t only costly for the environment, with some restaurants charging upwards of QR25 for a bottle of water. Yet Qatar’s tap water, produced by desalinating seawater and groundwater, is safe to drink in accordance with World Health Organization standards. And it tastes like…water. Pack a reusable drink bottle and fill it up in your hotel room to save a few extra riyals – and the planet.

Feast on Qatar’s abundance of cheap eats

Don’t let expensive hotel restaurant menus scare you into two-minute noodle territory. The streets of Doha offer a huge variety of cuisines at wallet-friendly prices, from authentic South Indian thalis to Korean fried chicken.

The sprawling Souq Waqif is a convenient place to get a taste. Begin your day with an authentic Qatari breakfast at Shay Al Shoomos, a female-owned restaurant known for its regag , a crepe-like bread stuffed with egg, cheese, and other goodies. Head to Al Adhamiyah Iraqi Restaurant to try affordable Mesopotamian fare, while  Bandar Aden is a top spot to sample a good-value Yemeni mandi (meat and rice cooked with spices in an underground pit).

In the evenings, women set up stalls in a small plaza off Al Souk Street to sell home-cooked regional dishes and French-style crepes at bargain prices.

People sitting at the MIA or Museum of Islamic Art park by the sea overlooking the city of Doha Qatar

Seek out Qatar’s free cultural attractions

While it’s well worth paying the entry fees to visit Qatar’s top museums and galleries, the nation is also home to an ever-expanding array of public art that doesn’t cost a cent to enjoy. Take the metro to Katara Cultural Village to uncover two striking local wildlife-themed works by Argentinian street artist Martin Ron as you explore the precinct, and head to MIA Park to find public art pieces including 7 by US artist Richard Serra, a soaring sculpture that pays homage to the spiritual significance of the number seven in Islamic culture.

Spread across four historic houses in downtown Doha, the Msheireb Museums are also free for all to enjoy.

Use discount apps and websites to save big on restaurants and attractions

Consider purchasing the My Book or Entertainer apps, both of which offer a huge range of buy-one-get-one-free deals in Qatar spanning everything from restaurant meals to desert safari tours, bicycle rental to spa treatments. Discount website QGrabs also advertises deals on a range of local products and services.

Make the most of Qatar’s parks and promenades

Soak up city and Doha Bay views with a stroll along the 7km (4-mile) seafront Corniche or in the surprisingly lush adjacent Al Bidda Park , which has several children’s play areas. Head down to the Corniche in the evening – the best time of the day to be outside during the scorching summer months – and you might also be able to snap up a good deal on a dhow cruise.

To help expand your world while easing the strain on your wallet, we have curated a list of affordable destinations for you to explore. Let Qatar Airways take you there with the amazing fares we offer every day.

Browse our list of affordable destinations:

As the capital city of Thailand, Bangkok is overflowing with must-see attractions and accommodations to fit your price range.

Visit the reclining Buddha at Wat Pho, discover the largest collection of Thai art and historical artifacts at the Bangkok National Museum, or tour the Jim Thompson House – home of the founder of the Thai silk industry– each with an admission fee of 200 Baht (about $6) or less. Journey to one of the world-renowned floating markets or to Chatuchak Market, the largest weekend market in the world, to find Thai street-food for under $2.

Book your stay at a reputable hostel for $7-$15/night or splurge on a top-rated hotel for around $30-$50/night.

Not only is Colombo an affordable destination, but also safe, listed as one of the best destinations for solo female travelers. As a historic seaport, Colombo is a culturally diverse city with many attractions to enjoy.

Visit Gangaramaya Temple, one of the most important Buddhist temples in Sri Lanka, for a small, recommended donation of under $1. Discover a mix of the Sri Lankan, Chinese, Thai, and Indian architecture used to construct the temple as well as the resident elephant, named Ganga. After exiting the temple, walk to the nearby Beira Lake where you can relax and sit alongside pelicans, storks, and monitor lizards. At dinner time, take a tuktuk to Galle Face Green for 100-300 LKR ($0.50-$0.85) where you can enjoy local cuisine like samosas and curries for under $2.

With some of the best-preserved ancient monuments in the world, Athens is a history buff’s paradise.

Purchase an Athens City Pass – only $60 for a three-day pass for students – to gain access to some of the most popular sites including the Acropolis and its museum. Utilize the hop-on-hop-off bus with your city pass to get a thorough tour of the city or travel point to point. If you’d rather travel on the subway, grab a 24hr unlimited metro pass for $7. Walking is also a great option for those trying to save a few extra dollars, made easy with numerous top-rated hostels within walking distance of the attractions for only $15-$20/night.

Named on the Best Value Destinations in 2019 by Lonely Planet, there is plenty to experience in Cairo without overspending.

Snap a selfie with the Sphinx or enjoy a panoramic view of the Pyramids of Giza for a small fee to the Plateau, under $5 for students. Your Giza Plateau ticket will also include access to the Sphinx temples and the adjacent pyramids. To see the artifacts and mummies that once inhabited the tombs, journey to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. For an entrance fee of 200 Egyptian pounds, or about $11, meet the mummified remains of 20 Egyptian kings and queens.

On Fridays, visit the Souq El Gom’aa, a popular market where you can find inexpensive souvenirs and streetfood like falafel, shwarma, and mahshi for under $2.

A city meant for exploring, Bali is like no other place on earth. With mountain scenery, world-renowned beaches, and affordable spa treatments, your trip to Bali can be anything you make it.

Rent a motorbike for $3-$5 a day to jet around the city on your terms or use the GO-JEK app, a service similar to Uber, if you’re not comfortable driving yourself. Unwind on one of the free beaches and take in breathtaking scenery or experience a luxury spa treatment for under $6. For those seeking more adventure, voyage to the Sacred Monkey Forrest, a sanctuary for over 900 macaques and home to three Hindu temples dating back to the mid-14th century. Admission to the forest is 80,000 Rupiah, or about $5.50, and will provide an unforgettable experience for all visitors.

The self-proclaimed, “city that loves you,” Tbilisi will provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere to all visitors.

Stroll the cobblestone streets of Old Town, where you can find Narikala, a fortress from the 4th century. Admission to the fortress is free, but if you would like to learn more about the history of the monument, you can take a guided tour for under $9. After the fortress, stop by Gabriadze Theater, a marionette theater, where you can view a show for $3-$10. If you’re not a fan of puppets, grab a pastry at a local café for under $1 or take a plunge at one of the famous Sulphur bathhouses, with sessions starting at 70 Lari, or $23 for an hour.

At the end of the night, take a ride back to one of the many hostels in the city, which cost under $20 per night.

Holiday Destinations from Doha Qatar!

One of the things that excited me most about moving to Qatar was the travel opportunities it would afford us! By living in Qatar a whole new world of holiday destinations from Doha opened up to us! Long haul was now short haul and vice versa! In the three and a half years we have been living here we have been using every opportunity we could to try new holiday destinations from Doha. So here is Qatar’s Travel menu from short haul to long haul options and the most memorable travel opportunity we had!

Best Short Haul Holiday Destinations from  Doha

Qatar opens up so many new short haul destinations. Places that were once only available to us as week or even two week holidays suddenly are now options for a weekend jaunt and are suddenly cheap holiday destinations from Doha. Our favourites have been;

Oman – Short Haul Holiday  Destination from Qatar

Beautiful and distinct from the rest of the Middle East. Mountainous and slightly cooler, Oman offers a different perspective on the Gulf.

We went as part of our babymoon and can’t recommend highly enough. The hotel has some of the best service I’ve ever experienced, great restaurants and the longest pool in the Middle East! It is quite the sight to behold!

The combination of cooler weather and unique culture makes Oman a  perfect holiday destinations from Doha

Flight details – You can fly Qatar Airways or Oman Air. Considered very short flights from Doha taking less than 2 hours.

Looking for something different in Oman then why not try a trip to Salalah or why not head to one of Oman’s amazing mountain resorts !

Dubai – PLEASE NOTE THAT DUBAI IS NO LONGER A DIRECT FLIGHT FROM DOHA

The Gulf embargo has changed the countries to visit near Qatar. Dubai is no longer a direct option from Qatar.

The city metropolis offers bigger and brasher offerings of everything. From the world’s tallest building to the flashiest hotels on earth. (Check out our post on best Middle Eastern Hotels for more information). If you want to experience luxury then Dubai is the place for you.

Dubai is also a great family friendly option and has lots of indoor activities which means it is accessible even in the summer when the temperatures can reach up to 50 degrees!

Bab al Shams

To be paired with a stay in something more traditional. We recommend combining a visit with the beautiful Bab al Shams Desert Resort . Desert resorts are definitely only a Winter option as most of the activities on offer are outdoor focussed. We enjoyed spending time in the Dunes and getting more acquainted with local traditions such as falconry!

Falcon at Bab al Shams

Falcon at Bab al Shams

At less than an hour in the air Dubai and the desert resorts great holiday destinations from Doha.

Sri Lanka Short Haul Holiday Destinations from Qatar

If you get sick of beige and sand then Sri Lanka is the perfect tonic. Bursting with colours, smells and vibrancy this is the place for you. Sri Lanka really surprised me. I fell in love with the food, people and wildlife.  For history buffs, you can visit the beautiful colonial town of Galle . For wildlife lovers, you can visit Udewalawe National Park and get up and close to elephants.

Buckingham Place Hotel

To be paired with a stay at our favourite hotel in the world – Buckingham Place . I have never experienced service like I did at Buckingham Place. Tranquil and beautiful. You can easily explore the South Coast of Sri Lanka from here. Unfortunately, the hotel does not accept under 6s so we will have to wait a few more years before we can return.

The combination of colour, food and wildlife make Buckingham Place and Sri Lanka  great holiday destinations from Doha.

The Maldives – a perfect short haul holiday destination from Doha

That bucket list item that seems to be on everybodies list! There is nothing better than crystal clear waters, sun, sand and relaxation. We stayed at the family friendly Bandos Resort but there are options for every type of traveller!

To be paired with a trip to Sri Lanka for the ultimate relaxing holiday

For sheer relaxation, The Maldives is a  great holiday destinations from Doha.

Long Haul Holiday Destinations from Qatar

Long haul flights from qatar to australia .

The Middle East is famed for its Kangaroo route stop over. Australia is a much easier long haul destination when you are half way there. Melbourne is a great starting point as a counter to the Middle East. I particularly the coffee culture and the art lane ways which I learnt all about on the Free Melbourne Walking Tour ! Melbourne is also the perfect Australian destination for foodies with amazing food on every street!

View across the Yarra River

To be paired with a trip to New Zealand – you might as well if you are going that far!

Since you are already half way there, Australia and New Zealand are  great holiday destinations from Doha.

Flying Long Haul Qatar to Cape Town

The lack of time difference between Qatar and South Africa makes Cape Town the perfect long haul option. Perfect for those wanting a mix of city life and wildlife.

We enjoyed going on safari and also making a trip to Stellenbosh and Franschhoek wine towns.

Stellenbosch

To be paired with a trip some more remote parts of Africa or perhaps a trip to the beautiful island of Zanzibar

Cape Town and Africa are perfect long haul holiday destinations from Doha.

Flying Long Haul Qatar to  Europe

What was once a weekend away is not more of a jaunt. We have taken the opportunity to visit some new parts of Europe and get a break from the Middle East weather by visiting Scandinavia. Copenhagen to us is the perfect European getaway. The perfect retreat for foodies and history buffs alike! Copenhagen is renowned for its wonderful restaurant scene, being home to the likes of Noma. A Mecca for foodies.

We also enjoyed exploring the history of Denmark and particular;y enjoyed exploring all of Copenhagen’s wonderful castles !

The Wandermust Family Gorilla Trekking Outfits

Qatar has above anything really given us the chance to travel more and nothing has left an impression on us quite like our visit to Uganda and Rwanda to go chimp and gorilla trekking. I have never been so awestruck  as seeing these majestic animals in the wild and has been the perfect cherry on top of our Middle East travel adventures.

For us, Rwanda and Uganda have to be the best  holiday destinations from Doha.

What a fantastic list of destinations. I love how living somewhere new opens up a whole new chapter of adventures. The middle east is so well connected - direct flight home to the UK and easy reach to Africa - sounds perfect to me :-) #FarawayFiles

Awesome places to visit that aren't too far from Qatar

Awesome places to visit that aren't too far from Qatar

One of the nicest things about moving to Qatar is that you are now centrally located in the globe. Europe, Africa, and all of Asia are easy to access.  Coming from North America, this is like winning the travel lottery.

The hours of travel from Toronto to Singapore can be a deterrent for those who want a relaxing vacation. No one would want to lose days of their vacation, spend over 24 hours just getting to a travel destination, dealing with the travel jet-lag, etcera.

Granted, people in Canada travel everywhere all of the time… I (and many people like me) just can’t be bothered.

Here are some awesome places to check out that aren’t too far from Qatar.

It’s funny, EVERYONE reading this will scoff.  Why? Because you are in Qatar and likely have already been here – many many times.  Dubai is a great vacation place for families.

Tons to do for kids, from waterparks, aquariums, zoos, indoor ski hills.  My family and I love it.  (Honestly, I think I just convinced myself to go this weekend with the kids while typing this #holysmokes) [Photo courtesy: Claus Kjærsgaard ]

This is a country full of culture, tradition, history and wonder.  There is a city called Salalah that has great weather during our heat stroke summer months... Dohans take note! [Photo courtesy: Hussain Yafaei ]

Phuket – Phi Phi Islands

Honestly, I am soooooooo grateful to have had the chance to travel here.  This was literally one of the most beautiful places I have seen on the planet!

It’s a 6 hour direct flight on Qatar Airways!  The people are super fabulous here too, both Thais and other tourists.  Just a friendly warm vibe all around. [Photo courtesy: ney zhar ]

Jordan – Petra

Imagine going to visit a historical city thousands of years old built into stone.  And… the entire city is red, all of the stone is red, the sand is red.  Incredible experience and very budget friendly.

Turkey – Istanbul

This is the ONLY place in Europe that I have travelled back to more than once (currently at 3 times!).  You can get a great hotel for less than $100/night, weather is awesome, food is amazing (never a disappointment), and beautiful plush cats running around everywhere.

What is there not to love?  The cultural sites are also well-perserved and absolutely beautiful! (It’s mildly ridiculous that the historical sites are mentioned after the cats – but I am who I am). [Photo courtesy: omnianthony ]

You’re in Qatar, part of enjoying it to the fullest is also enjoying the region and a couple of super cool places that aren’t too far.  Happy travels!

Any that I missed? I would love to hear about them and hopefully see them one day.

qatarisun

Dozens of places are missed... Maldives, Malaysia, Indinesia, India, Sri Lanka, Morocco, Egypt, entire eastern and Western Europe - they are all beautiful and unique...

However, one needs 20-25 hours to travel from Qatar to North and South America ;) Toronto, Vancouver, New York, Las Vegas, L.A., Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Cuba, Mexica, Bahamas, Hawaii, and much more - all these are great vacation destinations too :):)

Britexpat... You and your Cuban shotputter... Lol.. You can never forget her.. ;)

Mufti Shahid

Kashmir should be on the list. One of the best places in South Asia.

omarm88

Nairobi, Kenya: Amazing national parks and wildlife experiences

Mombasa, Kenya: Beautiful beaches and nice people.

Why isn't Havana on there..I could visit my Cuban Shotputter

Thank you for the info! All these places are worth visiting.

Built on the site of Doha’s century old trading market, on the banks of the Wadi Musheireb, Souq Waqif feels like an anachronism, particularly against the backdrop of Doha’s dramatic modernist skyline. With its mud-daubed buildings, the market harkens to a bygone era while remaining a hub of activity, where commerce and gossip collide. Souq Waqif’s winding alleys offer a tableau of traditional street life.

Top 5 airlines flying to Qatar

Operated by American Airlines. Very chaotic and the crew was bit rough responding any enquiries. Restricted leg space.. Qatar would have been better

Qatar airways from Doha to guangzhau was excellent big bird Boeing 777 more room and smoothly flight, I Love it

The made us waiting and held our passports and boarding pass making us miss our flights

Not impressed. Only allowed one carry on on such a long flight.

The flight was good but my neighbor had the vent open full power for the whole flight and because the air was blowing from the side instead of from the top and I got very cold and ended up with a sore throat.

Bad experience with the delay n long wait time for connecting flight after missing the connection flight from Doha.

Wore experience due to delay and took me 3 days to reach my destination.

Excellent will be flying again in May with Qatar. to Botswana.

Ultimate customer care humble and excellent service oriented crew , perfect timing maintained by the crew . My profound appreciation.

Asian Veng meal have Non Veg items which is not ok. Pure veg meals option are too less and they have inclusion of Vedgan and Lactos etc... which is taste less

Excellent service and comfort from the moment you check in. Flight crew is hyper focused on making passengers comfortable and at ease. It’s like a flying hotel!

Only chicken as a meat dish through out the flight

Nothing really was great as such. Seen other no name airlines perform better.

Quality of service on board was very inconsistent. FA service primarily seemed robotic and they barely engaged with passengers

I’m unclear why I had to pay extra for assigned seats as Turkish airlines did not honor the seating. We were placed across the aisle from each other on TK 34, and were seated behind one another on TK 694. Because my name was misspelled on e-ticket (Klawiter, instead of Klawitter) I could not log onto website to get the connection gate number in Istanbul. The monitors in the airport were a jumbled mess 1/2 Arabic and 1/2 English.

On line check in needs a lot of improvement. I tried and gave up.

Food not good, flight attendants not the best, not accommodating very ruff

the female flight attendant was racist towards me. I could tell she treated the two other passengers next to me with more softness.

Oh my god! For an13 hour flight they serve you food just one time. Also don’t be thirsty they give you a little small cup of soda to drink. They seem like their goal is to feed you one so they don’t have to be bothered with you. It quite surprise for such a long flight there are several times to eat at least three and the food was well lackluster. The food and lack of offering drinks which were always hot no ice provided.

We were traveling first class. Checkin counter lady and her manager, both were in bad mood and did not treat us well about checking in the handbag. The gate agent took care of it right away. I travel Turkish twice a year in first class. No one has ever refused to check in the hand bag. Not sure, why this agent and her manager refused. Everything else was excellent.

Use planes with TVs on flights over 4 hours. The free entertainment was a cheap in between solution for a very long flight that you don't even bother providing meals or decent snacks.

Even though we left CMI late, we mostly made up the time.

Delayed almost 4 hours for a 45 minute flight with no explanation.

Again, multiple delays and I eventually just canceled and drove!

Great crew. Very comfortable business seats with nice bedding. Good food. We were delayed to let late passengers on the flight, but otherwise great experience.

Great crew. We were delayed so that late passengers could get on the flight. Love the bedding in business class. Good food. Great experience.

The CX617 from HK to BKK was delayed more than 1.5 hours.

Horrible - they lied to me about baggage & boarding, even though I specifically spoke to their agents the day before my flight about my issue. When I showed up they did not let me board and stranded me at my airport until I bought a new flight with money I did not have to spend.

I was in business class. There was an excellent headset. But half an hour before arrival they collected them! The rest of the trip I had to use a cheap earphone. There must be a better way to protect the headphones.

All four American Airlines flights I took in last seven days were delayed. Caused me loads of problems, missed meetings, loss of time and money.

No Wi-Fi 50% of headphones handed out do not work. Otherwise pleasant.

Very nice staff. organized check in and good food. Bit cramped and tired looking plane inside

Was so surprised that for a short flight we were served a sandwich lunch

I didn’t like anything. I fly about 40 times per year and this is by far the worst airline I’ve even been on.

In business class and attendants acted like bothering them when asking for water. Which they didn’t even offer at all during the flight.

Worst flying experience ever. Both kids fell sick from food afterwards. In flight Service was missing. Same food served for all meals and that too stale which made us sick.

I had bad experience, this flight from Amman to Detroit was delayed for 40 hours!!!! The staff are rude & the food was not good at all.

I had bad experience, the first flight was delayed for 4 hours & the second flight was delayed for 40 hours!!!!! The staff on the flight from Amman to Detroit are rude . The food was not good at all.

Regarding the boarding: it needs more efforts to make it more convenient

Entertainment content is outdated. Food; I chose the chicken meal with rice, I would like to know the thought process of serving rice and chicken to be eaten with only a fork?! I don't eat spicy food for health reasons, I found out that the rice is very spicy after the first bite, so I didn't eat.

We missed the flight to Barcelona because the flight from Baltimore was delayed. We flew on Vueling VW6653. Our luggage didn’t arrive. Please help us get our luggage. We are staying at Hotel Gran Via in Barcelona

The seats were tiny, being of a fairly petite build, I don’t usually expect to feel crammed and cramped in a seat, but I definitely was on this flight. I couldn’t even bend over to get anything out from under the seat in front and getting up to go to the bathroom at night with the seat backs reclined was nearly impossible. I had to do gymnastics to get over and out. For an airline that does long flights overnight, it’s kind of ridiculous.

Not connecting flights. Missed my flight from Dublin to Liverpool because I arrived at Dublin one hour too late. For this mistake, they offered me a flight from Dublin to Manchester. Thats great and all, but I waste time and money to commute to Liverpool. Be sure to check the time of your connecting flights, because they sure don’t when they sell it to you

Excellent! Great flight attendants, good food (in business class, at least), very comfortable. Touchscreen and remote wasn’t great.

In economy and food was ok, but with limited leg space (and I was in a 2 seat configuration) it was difficult to eat with a tiny seat tray. I spilt wine on my trousers. First time on British Air (I usually fly Turkish Air) and in a 777. Heathrow was pleasant but changing terminals awkward.

Starting with the flight Cairo to London the plain was so poor no entertainment at all uncomfortable seats although it’s 5 hours long, then an American airline plain took me from London to Miami it was a bad experience the crew most of flight time not available and they asked us to help our selves for any snacks if we need. From Miami to London actually was perfect flight with a huge plain and perfect crew but from London to Cairo was horrible plain with stiff fixed seats not movable no entertainment or wi fi very poor Menu which is unacceptable for a business class

I've done hundreds of flights in my life, and this flight was one of the best I've ever taken, From beginning to end, everything went smoothly, professionally, and with a smile and friendly attitude from all employees I interacted with. The food was delicious (and free), as were the drinks. There was just a genial and effective way in the way that British Airways organized the flight -that reminded of days in the 70's, 80's, and 90's, when flying was a fun, and exciting adventure. I enjoyed and had confidence in the abilities of the flight crew, I'll be flying British Airways several more times this summer. Thank you so much for the great experience! Cheryl Olso

My baggage did not arrived with me. Took 3 days to get it after so may calls and follow up

Terrible! I missed my flight to my final destination and British airlines and American Airlines keep pointing fingers on each other’s. Nobody wants to take responsibility

Terrible. Flight was 3 hours delayed and I missed my other flight to my final destination
