2K Sports has announced that PGA Tour 2K23 update 1.09 is now available to download, and it’s a major one too, bringing Cross-Play and Ranked Matchmaking into the equation. Full details can be read below.

Via the latest patch update, players can now tee off against one another via crossplay in Private Matches, Casual Matchmaking, and Ranked Matchmaking. Supported platforms include PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). By default, crossplay is always on for PC, but can be disabled on Xbox by checking the system settings, and can be toggled on and off in-game on PlayStation. It’s time to show your friends who has the longest drives and the best approach shots.

Proving to your friends that you’re the best golfer is one thing, but do you think you’ve got what it takes to be the best in the world? If so, head over to Ranked Matchmaking where you can join competitive rounds and climb experience tiers. Ranked play is broken down into six tiers with three divisions in five of the six tiers, with each tier having a unique icon and color to differentiate what rank you are.

Across all Ranked matches, Solo and Duo, players will compete with Pro difficulty turned on and be limited to their MyPLAYER creation. PGA Tour 2K23 has hit the ground running upon release with some incredible gameplay and new features brought to the franchise.

Tiger Woods is the main attraction this year as the golfing legend is the poster boy for the game, as well as playing a key role in its development.

The latest update in PGA Tour 2K23 is only small with some minor changes to the gameplay and multiplayer brought in.

PGA TOUR 2K23 features several new additions and improvements sure to delight franchise veterans, dedicated PGA TOUR fans and casual golfers alike:

• Control the Pros – Woods leads a roster of more than 14 male and female playable pros at launch*, including Justin Thomas, Xander Schauffele, Lexi Thompson, Tony Finau, Lydia Ko, Collin Morikawa, Will Zalatoris, Brooke Henderson, Jon Rahm, Justin Rose, Rickie Fowler, and more. Players can step into the tee box as one of the pros in Exhibition, multiplayer and Divot Derby play, or go head-to-head with them in PGA TOUR MyCAREER mode. In addition to the pros, the broadcast-style presentation and commentary team also return, with the addition of English golf pro and broadcaster Henni Koyack.
• Earn PGA TOUR Pro Status – A spot atop the leaderboard awaits amateurs and pros alike in MyCAREER. Players can create a custom MyPLAYER, start out in Q-School, earn a spot on the Korn Ferry Tour and work their way up to PGA TOUR pro status, taking on the roster of pros on some of the most challenging and popular courses in pursuit of FedExCup glory. There’s also the option to skip right to PGA TOUR pro status.
• Celebrity Shot! – NBA icons and avid golf aficionados Michael Jordan and Steph Curry are available at launch to bring their skills from the hardwood to the fairway. Jordan is available as part of the Michael Jordan Bonus Pack, while Curry is available as free bonus content for all players on all platforms**.
• Tee Off with Topgolf Mode – The introduction of Topgolf Mode offers a unique single or multiplayer party experience emulating the popular golf entertainment phenomenon, where players can aim for targets and try to earn the highest score.
• Play Your Way – MyPLAYER customization is deeper than ever, with new player archetypes and skill trees. Players choose the style that works best for them, from a long-driving power hitter to a short game expert. Custom club fitting allows a further degree of personalization, allowing for unique but balanced combinations of club attributes. New optional, consumable golf balls offer a boost to certain attributes but are balanced to incur a penalty in others, while players can also opt to use an unlimited number of default balls without unique attributes. In addition to the returning analog stick swing, a three-click swing option is also available for an added level of customization so players can play the way they like.
• Swing With Swag – MyPLAYER personalization returns, and players can equip their MyPLAYERS just like Tiger with Nike Golf, TaylorMade and Bridgestone Golf apparel and gear. Even more apparel options are available from licensed brands, including adidas, Callaway Golf, FootJoy, Malbon Golf, Nike Golf, PUMA, Titleist, TravisMathew and more***. CROSSPLAY IS NOW LIVE IN PGA TOUR 2K23

Golf is fun regardless of whether you’re playing solo or with a group of friends, but it's definitely a thrill when bragging rights are on the line. PGA TOUR 2K23 offers several exhilarating multiplayer modes to choose from, with endless hours of friendly competition. Until now, multiplayer was limited to the same platform, but we’re excited to share that crossplay is now available!

2K Sports' golf vertical has produced its latest golf video game, "PGA Tour 2K23", which can be played across multiple platforms and features Tiger Woods as its cover boy. After skipping 2022, 2K has linked Tiger's cover in 2023 to his pal, and the previous front man for this project, Justin Thomas, who graced the cover back in 2021. This year's edition has engendered a lot of excitement -- and a lot of different versions of the game -- as it hits shelves this fall.

The official release date for "PGA Tour 2K23" Deluxe Edition and PGA Tour 2K23 Tiger Woods Edition is Tuesday, Oct. 11 while the release date for "PGA Tour 2K23 Standard Edition" is Friday, Oct. 14.

Tiger Woods is the cover athlete, and he's featured on all three editions of the game.

To begin the motion, pull straight back on the analog stick and time your push forward as the power meter reaches the sweet spot for a silky smooth shot laced down the fairway.

It’s been over 2 years since the release of PGA Tour 2K21 and, freed from the inherent limitations of the annual release cycle, the expectations for the series are understandably high. The partnership between 2K Sports and HB Studios — who first established a formidable golf simulation brand on their own with The Golf Club series — resulted in a fine debut under the new banner with PGA Tour 2K21. That game no doubt benefited though by being the only real golf simulation game on the block and that won’t be the case this time around with the release of EA Sports PGA Tour right around the corner . Without the kind of exclusivity it enjoyed last time around, it’s a little more important now for PGA Tour 2K23 to impress people at its release and ensure that few will be enticed to check out the what EA is teeing up. With that in mind, let’s dive into my PGA Tour 2K23 review.

PGA 2K23 Patch 1.20 Notes (Version 1.20)

PGA 2K23 patch 1.20 is rolling out on PS4, PS5(1.020.000), PC and Xbox One. According to the official PGA 2K23 1.20 patch notes , the latest update adds minor tweaks. Apart from this, PGA 2K23 version 1.20 (1.020) also includes performance fixes.

Previously, a major update 1.09 added PGA 23 crossplay between PS4, PS5, PC and Xbox. Unfortunately, since the last PGA 23 patch 1.08 , players are various bugs with the game. PGA2K23 update 1.20 will fix a few of these issues.
