Drive Through Safari
Prepare for an exhilarating adventure like no other at the Drive Through Safari at the Aggieland Safari. Buckle up and embark on a thrilling 2.5-mile ride through picturesque landscapes, where an extraordinary array of wildlife awaits. As you navigate the winding paths, you'll be amazed by the sight of majestic American Bison, zebras, towering ostriches, and a captivating variety of over 75 wild animal species.
Get ready for an up-close encounter like never before as the animals come right up to your vehicle, offering a unique opportunity to observe their natural behaviors and admire their beauty at close range. There are also Safari SUVs available for rent.
Walkabout Adventure Zoo
Meet up to 50+ different species of animals in the Walkabout Adventure Zoo! Stroll through educational exhibits and encounter the resident peacocks, exotic birds, lemurs, monkeys, and more. Stretch out your hand and feed a giraffe fresh leafy greens at the Giraffe Feeding Yard. Get up close to birds and reptiles in the Animal Barn and at the Pavillion. Sign up for a Wild Animal Safari animal encounter and enjoy a personal encounter with a Southern Tamandua or a reptile while learning the importance of conservation. Join caretakers in feeding and enrichment activities for the Southern Tamanduas or help with the routine care of reptiles and take a tour of off-exhibit reptiles.

It’s going to be a wild summer for the Brazos Valley! Located near Bryan, Texas , just a short 20-minute drive from College Station and 90 minutes from Houston and Waco , Aggieland Safari is the Serengeti of the South.

Visit the Adventure Zoo and explore the “Safari on Foot” that includes over 20 acres of up-close exhibits and walk-through animal experiences.
