Posted May 24, 2008. There are three washers and three dryers (also and ironing board w/iron) on each passanger deck. There is no cost and laundry soap is provided. Best time to use is while in port. There appear to be lots of "Urban Myths" regarding the laundry, after a while everyone seems to have a story.

On the circumnavigation of OZ,this year there were 2 x laundry specials.$40.00 for 30 items,the trick is roll the washing into cylinders,lots more fits in then.We sent lots of shirts etc and at least 3 pairs of jeans each time and filled the spaces with socks etc.

Posted September 3, 2013. Everyone seems to be loosing the thread, I asked if the laundrette was accessible from each corridor. I had the cabin (4072) next door to the Deck 4 laundrette in 2009. My memory is that the laundry was accessible from both port and starboard passageways.

When we received our cabin I freaked on my husband. (His decision to book it ~ we did save ). But we were 2 doors from the laundry. We had observed problems on the 11th floor in the past. For 2 months I was upset. It was a 22 day sailing so I thought it would be a nightmare. We always book mid 11th floor. This was deck 8 next to the laundry. 😪
