Ella Dunn, Employee #643199, greeted me with such enthusiasm it made my day, that was nice. There is an UGG hoodie sweater that I LOVE! Hanging on the wall! I don't think you understand, I have the same hoodie that I purchased prior to falling ill with COVID-19, several years ago & unable to work. An UGG hoodie was not a priorty BUT did I mention I LOVE the UGG hoodie sweater. Currently, there are only certain type of material that does not hurt my skin. I can be in this hoodie 24/7.LOL Prior to me having to think if I could/should purchase this expensive wonderful hoodie because it's SO EXPENSIVE but worth it, LIKE $100 EXPENSIVE but it's on sale! But It's not my size, it's too small Ella went to her computer to see if she could order it online. No luck! She could have left it there. Instead, Ella went above and beyond by looking to see which other stores had that hoodie in my size. Ella found my size, Ella reached out to the store and asked if it would be possible to have that item transferred to her store for a customer to purchase. They said YES! 😊 I am SOOOOOOO HAPPY! THANK YOU ELLA!

“Terrible customer service!”

I ordered online 2 pair of shoes and made payments through Klarna! Because the shoes was delivered but not to the correct home, they didn't want reimburse me my money or resend the shoes! Do not trust Journeys! Go personally to the store and buy the product! Don't do online purchases! The house they delivered was green and my house is blue! I paid them so it's not about the money! But I guess Journeys needs it more than me!

I ordered a pair of sneakers which was shipped by fed ex and when they delivered it was thrown in my driveway for easy access to be taken. So yes it was stolen. I called journeys and they said they are nit responsible for this. Maybe they should be and provide another carrier that would do a better job placing package by the door. So journeys don't refund or ask if you would like the same order instead. Now they lost a future customer. That's how much they care.

I ordered my cute, adorable RED New balance tennies on Tuesday, May 2,2017, and I received updates from the time I placed the order informing me of what was happening with my order. Yesterday, Thursday, May 4,2017, I received an email from Journey's letting me know my shoes had shipped and they'd be here by today - Friday, May 5,2017, but I thought, "NO WAY!" But, WAY! I have them on my feet right now and I love them!

I was pleased with ordering from Journeys. I've been to the store and only purchased socks from them. I never order shoes online since I wear a half size and can never seem to find shoes that fit just right. Well, the website is pretty easy to maneuver and I ended up getting 4 pairs of converse, sperry's & polo for less than $200. To me that was a steal! And two pairs came straight from the store. I was always updated with confirmation and when my items were shipped. Only issue I had was I got two pairs in the mail first and it had someone else's invoice inside of it. I waited until the second couple pairs came in but they just had mine on the outside. Even said it was handpicked by an employee. & one coupon for each pair of shoes! After the order I have received tons of emails from Journeys since then. I had to throw it in my spam folder. It took the average amount of days 5-7. And the shoes fit myself & my husband perfectly. I'd order from them again.

There are a few different options in this case. 1) For the quickest option, the store can help you return the wrong size and place a Special Order for the correct size, which can either be shipped to your home or the store's address for pick up within 4 - 7 business days. 2) Alternatively, you may reorder the correct size via our website and then return the current order in the original manufacturer box to the store with your confirmation email. 3) Another option would be to request a prepaid FedEx label through our website with the following link (for web orders only) to exchange through our warehouse for the correct size. However, all warehouse returns and exchanges by mail can take 2 - 4 weeks to process from the date we receive the return package. The extremely worst company!! Spoke with several representative, I had asked why I was not allowed to select the free shipment option when checkout my items? I place order 3hrs before the cut off time to pay for expedited shipping (11am). Representative from store stated “It’s what was required from the Shipping Company (FedEx). I said “are you guys sure my order will arrive in 2-3 business day if I expedite my order? (representative stated “yes”). Week later item didn’t arrive. ( Chat with Deni G from Journeys-She/He stated “ Your item is at the facility in your state, you should contact FedEx why they are holding your item”.) Contact FedEx this was there Input: “the store didn’t ship your item on time”. Going back and forth just to find out why my item is taking more 2-3 days. Very horrible experience and excuses from left to right. then store offer $5 no thank you very much. I will never order from journeys period. Very poor customer service and Please remove that false ads of expedited shipment in 2-3 days.

Selective service provided based on race or skin color (reversed)

Saturday (09/07/2022) My girlfriend and her 2 kids,( I have to mention that they are latinos) entered the store located at surgaloaf mall in GA, there was 5 sales rep. ( all 5 african-.americans) behind the counter chatting among themselves, no one Acknowledged her presence nor attempted to help her. She made nothing of it, attributing the behavior to the anti social nature of youth nowadays, then a black lady entered the store, to her surprise, one of the representative immediately sprintered from behind the counter to greet her and offer to help, making my girl feel like she was invisible to them because she not african-american. Even the kids noticed the behavior and ask their mom, why they did not offer the help them and treated that black lady quite different from them......needless to say my girlfriend walked out of the store and went shopping somewhere else, where all shoppers are treated equally.

Awful and incompetent…

Awful and incompetent online customer service agents. Had issues with online order I placed and it was ridiculous trying to call and deal with it. I will never shop online here again. Took so much time to get any kind of resolution and inconsistent information. Zappos for me going forward, or any other online shoe retailer.

If I could give 0 stars I most definitely would. Somehow I was charged for the same shoe 2 separate times when I called to explain I didn't need 2 of the same shoe delivered and would like to stop that purchase I was told I could take the shoes to the nearest location when they had arrived 🙃 okay first off I don't want the dang shoes even delivered 😅 I ordered 1 pair ! I would like only those delivered and the others stopped it was honestly like I was speaking gibberish to them ..... you can immediately take my money from my account but cannot immediately resolve the issue at hand I was then told they could stop the sending from vendor but that could take 7 to 10 days .... it takes 3 to 5 days to get to my house ..... beyond irritated and frustrated with these people the shoes I bought were 102.98 after taxes you would think there customer service would be a little better for the prices we are paying for this run around

WATCH FOR A DOUBLE CHARGE

Journey's should consider changing how they authorize payment, I shouldn't have several of the same pending charges from a single purchase - that makes no sense and can hurt a poor person's bank account. I've seen plenty of reviews about this on the internet concerning Journey's and duplicate charges, I just wish I had read them before purchasing from Journeys. They double charged my account! It put my account in the negative and I was charged an overdraft fee by my bank. "I do apologize but our team will review the double charge and take care of that for you! We are unable to pay for overdraft fees." This was Journey's Customer Service response. Now not only was my account charged but I'll be forced to pay an overdraft fee. DO NOT ORDER FROM JOURNEYS! My bank requested a letter from them explaining their error and their response was that there was no error as the other charges were simply authorization charges and will drop off. Terrible business practices. Save yourself and just shop somewhere else.

1 star because it shippped. Wouldn’t be surprise if this company had a several pending lawsuits for unethical business practices..this company needs to be boycotted and shut down for this many negative reviews. I wish I read these reviews first before spending my hard earned money.. if you can avoid purchasing from here, please do unless you want endless problems..I’m personally telling everybody I know to never shop here for anything no matter what..shut them down. how could a company continue to run like this unless it has absolutely no care for it customers. My story is they pulled this “double charge” method like they’re seem to be gettin away with everybody. Journeys thinks it’s fair practice to (hold) money you have for a purchase in your bank account. they claim they want to make sure we have the funds in our bank, however they come back and charge again( the same amount as the initial charge) once your item ships..how about if we have the funds take it then and if we don’t have it deny the purchase just like everybody else. Don’t see the science behind that besides them wanting it to appear to be bringing in more money than they actually are to their shareholders. Double charging everybody will definately make it seem like thier business is doing better than they actually are. These reviews seem to share the real story of journeys and how they operate. Surprisingly for me the shipping was smooth. I got the item in a timely manner but it’s been over a week since my initial charge was taken and they’re still holding it. Also blaming it on Apple Pay when Apple Pay has a direct deposite system where there is no wait once the money is released. Customer service was called several times was no help at all. Unexcepable.

Don't Count on Journey's to Deliver! Don't Count on Journey's to update their customers! Don't Count on Journey's!!! Two days post scheduled delivery, I reach to to check on my order through the Journey's chat feature to only be informed that I would not be receiving my package. Journey's failed to inform their customer in a timely manner. I regularly order items online from many different retailers and I can assure you, Journey's competitors do not handle business this way. I was offered a coupon that is available to everyone who goes online for my inconvenience with their neglect of service, which in and of itself is funny... Journey's, no need to ask me to respond through a website or to apologize, you failed. You didn't notify in a timely manner, or even at all until I reached out to Journey's and then insulted me with a coupon that is already on-line for all.

Had an order of $123 they took the…

Had an order of $123 they took the money from my account immediately which is fine that’s normal. But when the shoes shipped four days later they charged my Card for $123 again! I called about it and they said thats just a “hold” they put on the card when first purchasing and that the additional $ will go back in my card in 3-5 business days!!! That really hurt my pocket as it was a Friday that they double charged me on. Too bad because they have a lot of good looking shoes and brands but I will never order from them again.

Only one shoe came, they canceled my order with no communication!

I'm not one to normally write negative reviews but am so disappointed and want others to know my experience before purchasing things that need to be shipped. The customer service I received instore was wonderful - 5 stars. However, the process of ordering and shipping to my house has been terrible. I ordered a pair of birkenstocks on the 22nd of November. I received a box on the 29th that was beat up and only had one shoe in it. It wasn't even the correct color or size. I was told the fastest way to handle this was to go in store and return them and reorder. That's what I did. I was told they had 8 left in stock so I took care of it the same day. 11 days later and I still haven't received the shoes. I contacted customer service through text (a nice service offered) and was told that my order was canceled on the 4th of December due to being out of stock. I was not notified about the cancelation, never recieved an email with my order number either. To top it all off instead of just sending me a refund on the debit card I used, they have started the process of sending a me a check that will take 2-3 weeks to recieve. Now I'm out $175 two weeks before Christmas and had to find somewhere else to order my daughters big gift. I will never order anything from journey again. I was also told if I had notified them by the 7th they could have changed my refund to put it back on debit card. Again, I never received any notification about the cancelation otherwise I would have taken care of it the day it was canceled!

I took my 10 year old grandson to…

I took my 10 year old grandson to journeys to look for a pair of shoes he picked out a pair that was 59 dollars and so I told him he could get them the lady goes in the back to get them and comes out carrying 3 boxes of different shoes for him to look at also now I get the whole upsale game you play but you should ask the parent or grandparent first! So she shows my grandson the different shoes and he picks out a different pair that she brought out so we go to the register and these shoes are 110 dollars!!!!! For a 10 year olds shoes needless to say I was totally caught off guard and embarrassed and upset that this lady tricked me but not wanted to upset my grandson I got the shoes ! So that’s okay you definitely got one over on me this time but never Ever again I will definitely be shopping elsewhere!!!

CHARGE TWICE BY JOURNEYS

i ORDERED 2 PAIRS OF SNEAKERS ON 10/4/2023. MONEY CAME OFf my card and all was normal. i noticed today Journeys took another 132 off my card. so at this time the 132.00 they took when i placed the order is pending and the additional money they tapped my card for today has posted. how does this make sense. customer service is a joke. i was basically told when you order they do a soft auth then a hard charge when the item ships. I asked the rep how that makes sene. basically you are charging ppl twice. the pending charge should posted and that it. i will never shop with them again. its fraud honestly. now i have to wait 12 days for the pending charge to release.

Online Journeys should be wiped and reformed

I ordered a pair of sandals on 8/4, it is now 8/11. Chatted with an online rep (Judah G) for the details of the delay, and was told he sent a request to basically, wait. Since i said that does not help me, he kurtly ended the chat. I opened another online chat (Sean N) requesting my order to be canceled and a refund issued. He said it cannot be canceled. The order is "processing" (well, yeah for 7 days now...) and even though it has not shipped, no shipping label was created, no tracking number generated, he convicted that he could not cancel the order. He reiterated several times that i would need to wait to receive my item and basically return it on my dime. Perhaps HE could not cancel it, but i'm sure his suprerior could. The inability to act, performing unethical business practices, and illogical dishonest methods detriment to customers in every possible way calls for a complete system reform. The rep Sean N was more sincere than Judah G, but also kurtly ended the chat on me. Well, i guess that's all they CAN do? They could raise the issue to a superior that CAN cancel the order, call the direct store to halt and cancel it, or perhaps do a few clicks on their computer... but instead, they choose to drive consumers to animosity. Cultivating rancor (in both reps and consumers alike) will inevitably cause disaster.

Wish I could give a 0 star review. Ordered white Vans which came STAINED. I told the customer service guy I'd have to take it in store for exchange, he didn't tell me the store was shut down. I would not recommend using this site…

I would not recommend using this site to buy anything. I ordered a pair of shoes and they sent me the wrong size. So I talked with someone on the website and they suggested I return it to the store which is over an hour away from me which is why I ordered online in the first place. These shoes are selling out everywhere so I wanted to make sure I got them. The person I spoke with assured me it was not a common mistake. So I ordered again planning to return the other shoes when I got a chance. I open my package and AGAIN I am sent the wrong size of shoes, two sizes too small this time.

While trying to exchange an online purchase that I ordered which was the wrong size. I was told I had to do it via mail.and provide the tracking number and my replacement would be shipped. I was told I could provide that info in the chat and my new item would ship. I was then told by Asia M. that I couldn't and when I said they literally told me I could do this unprofessional person ended the chat. I found out all I had to do go in the store despite.being told otherwise as well. I use to buy from there all the time for my daughters but I think I'm done.

I ordered a shoe mon August 12th, 2023 but it was delivered it to the wrong home. Maybe in another area. I’m not sure because the billing address and shipping address were not the same as they were when the order was placed. There is photographic evidence that the order clearly went to the incorrect home. When I contacted Journeys and told them what happened they stated they would not refund or replace the shoes because it “says” delivered. I even sent photos showing my home and the wrong house that FedEx sent my package to. I called and emailed several times and was told a replacement with a tracking number would be sent out. After not receiving an email being sent after a week. I contacted them again today (August 25th). Now Journeys is stating to me that a “decision” has to be made regarding a replacement and they will “email me”. I asked how long would it take and they again say to wait “a few more business days”. I feel as if they are stalling so that my time to get a refund runs out. I asked them if I should contact my bank instead and was told we will not help you if you contact the bank. Well, I mean are you really helping at this point though Journeys? This has been a horrible experience and I will no longer spend my money with or be recommending this company.

Shipping/processing time is terrible

I placed an order for one pair of shoes on 12/17. The site said they would be delivered in 3-5 days. It is now 12/22 and they have not even shipped the shoes! They lie about shipping dates to get orders. Very disappointing.

Ordered size 6, received 8. Twice. Rough customer service

Ordered a pair of shoes in a woman size 6, received man 6. Got in touch with the customer service who helped me return the shoes and supposedly sent me another pair in the right size: I received the same thing. Called them back, and had to argue very intensely to get them to take them back, get a return label and a refund. They didn’t want to hear what the problem was. First and last time for me!

Journeys sent me my order with 2 left…

Journeys sent me my order with 2 left shoes. Thus was a christmas gift for my fiance and the best they could do is ship it the Tuesday after Christmas. And I will need get it ready for shipment and send verification before they will start the process. I sent photos and still zero help besides me jumping through hoops for them. Never shop at journeys it's not worth saving $5 on the purchase by direct from manufacturer. I'm beyond disappointed how they shrugged me off with a well sir those are your otions.

Terrible customer service all around. They advertise an item as being on sale, then I couldn’t get the code to work. Messaged customer service days ago and didn’t get a response. Terrible customer experience, never received my exchange

Terrible customer experience. I tried to do an exchange and 8 weeks later i have received nothing. They made me CALL them to tell them the tracking number of the exchange and i was told three different times over the phone and via chat my exchange was processing. I was just told 8 weeks later that the exchange never went through, that i was given a refund, and that I should review their exchange policy. Terrible experience. Wasted so much of my time. Will never purchase from here again.

No refund for lost package

If i can give negative review rate i will ! Reported lost package last nov 29 to them and Fedex. Yes, it was delivered but placed on top of mailbox, an open area. So when my daughter got home it wasnt there anymore after wks , journeys email her saying they cant refund coz accdg to FedEx it was delivered. 1st , it was delivered yes, but lost it coz of fedex negligence placing it on an open area! 2nd. We dont care if Fedex denied the claim. We are not asking the refund to them. We are asking journey coz they are the seller. We bought it to them. JOURNEY should take responsibility. We will not stop till we get the refund. Planning to file complaint to california consumer act or to any govt agency if refund not made . Never will do business with Journeys anymore

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Someone stole my package from my door step and they refused to send out another package or refund me my money. FedEx delivered the package several days early (so I was not expecting it) and just left the package on the front steps for people to steal. Journeys is awful and I will not be ordering from them again.

This is absolutely the worst company in the world NEVER order shoes from them ever again unless you want to get your package in over a month!!! You will be on hold for over an hour just to ask a simple question their customer service people are very rude and unhelpful at the same time. Worse experience of my life with them. DO NOT ORDER!!!!!!! Please take my word you will regret it, you’ll thank me later. THE WORSE COMPANY!!!! Customer service doesn’t even deserve a 1 they are a 0/5.

Journeys in Newport Mall , Jersey City, NJ.. JYS 1265 Great customer service from salesperson ,Ramses! Such a nice young man , so patient, polite, & helpful. They didn’t have my daughter’s size but he ordered them online for me. The young lady at the register who was assisting Ramses ( bc he was new) was also amazing. Both of these employees were professional and accommodating. We would definitely shop again at Journey’s Jersey City ( 1265). I think Ramses will have a successful employment there.

Shady shipping

Ordered two pairs of shoes, was given the same tracking for both. Only one pair arrived and with no notification. Second pair still hasn't shown up. The tracking is all over the place with delays and operation errors. I'm honestly not even sure the information is correct. Shady business practice. Update: Received the notification from Journeys that the shoes were delivered. No package, checked with neighbors too. Contacted customer service and was told they wouldn't do anything for me. Don't bother with them.

Completely lying about delivery date and holding my money hostage.

I placed an online order. Order details and email said "Delivery: 3-5 Business Days". It is day 8 and my order has still not even shipped. They would not let me cancel and said that I have to wait to receive the order and then take it in person to a Journey's store to receive a refund. Terrible experience.

Every time I pass by the shop in the Wellington Green Mall ( Florida) , I see the staff putting their dirty shoes on the bench and chatting with each other 😡. We sit in those chairs ( benches ) . Also They need keep the music in the background and allow shoppers to think about their purchases. Uptempo or fast-paced music encourages quicker shopping and fewer purchases!!

Do not purchase anything you do not physically have in your hands. I went into our local store, ordered and paid for a pair of shoes for ship to home through the associate at the store. The company cancelled my order the next day by e-mail. It has been 3 weeks, several e-mails and phone calls, and I have not received my refund. I will never do business with a company that blatantly steals money from unwitting customers. Never again.

Faulty website!

Tried placing an order online using Apple Pay because my wallet wasn’t close by. It claims payment wasn’t completed but it emptied my cart as if my order went through. I also received a notification about a pending charge from my Apple Pay as if my order went through. Checked my email, nothing from Journey’s about an order. So I called customer service explaining the situation, she then says “Oh yeah we’ve been having a lot of issues with Apple Pay and the website canceling the orders. I suggest you use your debit or credit card and try to place the order again.” I told her Apple Pay needs to be removed as an option to use on the website and excuse me no I will not so I can have 2 pending charges in my account! She said well we can’t control how the website process authorizations with an attitude! I hung up because I was done talking to her! I used to love Journeys but I will no longer order from them! There shouldn’t be pre authorizations as if I’m getting gas at a gas pump it’s ridiculous!!!

Delivered to the wrong address

My $100 shoes were delivered to the wrong house, the picture taken proves that but Journeys would not reimburse me and told me I have to contact Fed Ex. I filed a claim with Fed Ex and am waiting for their investigation to conclude. Journeys has horrible customer service! They should replace my shoes or reimburse me and then file a claim with Fed Ex themselves!!!! I will never buy from Journeys again!

The customer service is terrible

I did a refund for some shoes I bought & my refund amount was LESS than my actual order. I contacted customer service 3 times just for them to tell me there was nothing they can do. Customer service agents don't even know what they're talking about either. One agent told me they don't refund tax & another said they do refund tax but they don't refund shipping; however, I calculated the numbers and the numbers do not match. Although it's a little difference, it's the principle. They steal from their customers so don't ever shop here
