I really liked the planning and management of the entire trip by BMC. The bus was fairly comfortable. Also the guide took care of the various things (like food, coordination, sleep arrangements etc.) on the trip quite well. I would recommend BMC to others.

Testimonial by Vamsidhar Pothula

Thadiyandmol was my first trek with BMC. I was a bit skeptical at the beginning since I was travelling from Chennai all alone and BMC was unknown to me. But you guys were actually beyond my expectations. I had a great time with you people, and surprisingly I was not tired inspite of travelling continuously for three consecutive days. The trekking guides were amazing and without them I could not have completed the trek. They kept motivating all throughout. No doubt I am looking forward to do more with you guys.

Testimonial by Nilanjana Chowdhury

My first Trek with BMC to kotagiri in Ooty .Had the best trekking experience ever. I can say that it's my first real Trek after years of not climbing mountains. I had a very hard time climbing as I wasn't used to it and had to take. Break every now and then and due to my overall clumsy nature was slipping and tripping along the way. The BMC guides Prasanna and Ved were amazing and stayed back and helped me out by motivating me and pushing me forward in every step to test my limits. We trekked for nearly 20km in a day and had a wonderful time by the Catherine falls and back to the homestay. The accommodation and food was good and the BMC coordinators were excellent. Overall this Trek was not just a trek for me, but a learning that made me feel like I've achieved something and helped me to gain confidence.. thank you BMC. Looking forward to many more treks .

Check them out; I’m sure you’ll have a great time!

2. Quad- Biking/Atv Bike Riding:

ATV (all-terrain motorcycle) bike riding, also called Quad biking, is a unique and thrilling sports adventure game! Here, you get to bike around rough terrains with a fantastic partner, or you could do it with enough training! It’s so much going around those rough terrains and having a ride where you constantly jump back and forth and up and down. It’s enthralling and exciting, precisely like taking a rollercoaster ride!

adventure trips in bangalore

Quad Biking is done mainly in mountainous regions or around the hills or forest regions because they naturally have uneven slopes and terrains that average cars and vehicles cannot handle. Thus, riding on those forbidden lands in a car made especially for them is quite a fantastic feeling! You can check out Quad biking around Bangalore through various companies! One such we recommend is Dirt Mania! They help you go on ATV rides near Kanakpura Road or Nandi Hills at quite reasonable prices! So go and check them out, though!

3. Parasailing:

Parasailing is another such thrilling, adventurous, and adrenaline-boosting fun activity to go on to have, experience, and enjoy the most! It is a recreational activity where a person is towed behind a vehicle while attached to a specially designed canopy wing that looks like a parachute, a parasail wing. The manned kite’s moving anchor may be anything like a car, truck, or boat, as it can be done on either land or above the ocean surface.

adventure trips in bangalore

This activity is fun and quite adventurous as you get the thrill of going against the winds and flying in the sky above the land with a breeze flowing through your face! We recommend Bangalore Mountaineering Club for the same. So go and check them out for paragliding and parasailing!

4. Skandgiri Trekking:

Trekking is a great, fun, and adventurous activity to have and enjoy for some fun! It’s a long trip that sometimes includes even days on end! So, you better pack up some good supplies there and an excellent camp to help you go on and about your journey, as we recommend you go on one trekking trip in Bangalore!

Skandgiri hills are high up and away from civilization. Based in Chikballapur, it is located overlooking Nandi hills! Blessed with a fantastic view of the clouds and the sky above, everyone might want to go, right? That’s right! We recommend going to Skand Giri for some trekking experience as it’s enjoyable to do with your friends or even alone!

The Skandgiri Hills Trek is only permitted with the permission of the Forest Department of Karnataka. You must pre-book your trek dates through their official website. Only 150 passes are allowed per day, and the Skandgiri entry fee is Rs. 250 per head. With gorgeous sunrises and sunsets- beautiful scenery, light breeze, and even a fantastic nature nest, this place is bound to make you happy and even surprise you!

5. River Rafting:

adventure trips in bangalore

Source: https://unsplash.com/photos/02HBQ2w_yak

Another one of the sports activities that nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts will love! It’s a sport where rafters use inflatable rafts with their teams to compete and win against other teams in a race or even enjoy some time rafting on rough waters or white waters. You can want the most! We recommend places like Bheemeshwari, Dandeli, Coorg, and Kabini for you to try out for rafting in Bangalore, as we are sure that you are going to love it for sure!

6. Camping:

Last but not least! Camping is an adventurous sport because it requires you to go out of your comfort zone and place your surroundings in a rough and wild natural environment, which can be a threat sometimes but even exciting to survive! Especially in forests, people love living in the wild with animals as by camping! We recommend camping in the wilderness, on the hills, around the lakes, or even in the mountains! Some places that you should check for in Bangalore are Bananthimari Betta, Anthargange, Bheemeshwari, and Devarayandurga hills!

Lastly, we also recommend combining trekking with camping as it will be amazing to do so and will be the ultimate adventurous experience to have! There are so many adventures to choose from, so get ready to have some fun! And do let us know your experience, recommendations, and thoughts below!

Bangalore Palace

In the technology-driven, futuristic Silicon Valley of India, monuments of historical significance boasting of a glorious past are also abundant. The historical heritage of the city is so magnificent and eminent that it rises to prominence on its own. One such landmark is the Tudor style Bangalore Palace. The Palace is a perfect representation of the lavishness and splendour with which India's most resilient dynasties ruled. Famous for its opulent architecture and amusement activities, the Palace is visited by several visitors every day. The colossal Palace boasts of massive courtyards, bright interiors, kingly grounds, splendid spiral staircases, stately towers and a luscious garden in a proud display of posh regality.Anyone who admires classic architecture and artistry would be delighted to experience it first hand at this Palace. It also houses an amusement park in its enclave to the delight of many younger visitors. Having been a private residence to the Wodeyar family, Bangalore palace offers a linear perspective into the royal life of the forepassed era. It is plush with a vibrant and varied collection of ancient royal artefacts, paraphernalia, hunting trophies and family photos. The Palace houses some of the most famous paintings of the 19th Century, including the works of one of India's most celebrated artists Raja Ravi Verma. The Palace grounds very often become venues for concerts and festivals. World-renowned artists like Enrique and Guns N' Roses have graced the palace grounds with their talent and presence. The Palace hence combines the richness and luxury of royal history with the vivacious and exuberant demeanour of the youth. Bangalore Palace HistoryOriginally a property of Reverend J Garrett, the principal of a school in the cantonment town at that time, the area where the Palace is now located was purchased from him by the British Guardians of Maharaja Chamarajendra Wadiyar for 40,000 rupees. The construction of the palace began in the year 1874. Mr John Cameron of Lalbagh was assigned the task of landscaping Palace along with its surroundings. The complete construction of the palace was completed in the year, 1878.The Palace saw many additions and modifications in its architecture in subsequent years. Maharaja Jayachamaraja Wadiyar added a few portions like the twin external staircase, the platform for musicians etc. outside the Durbar Hall. In 1970, HH Jayachamarajendra Wodeyar transferred ownership of the property to two companies, Chamundi Hotels and Shree Venkateshwara Real Estate Enterprises. However, this transaction was later shown to be fraudulent. A legal battle followed between this deal and Jayachamarajendra's son, Srikanta Datta. The five sisters of Srikanta Datta are now in possession of sections of the 28 acres of the Palace. In the year 1990 Srikant Datta finally compromised with the Chamaraju group and got back his part of the property including the main Palace except for 45 acres that the Chamaraju group still retains. Architecture:The Palace showcases exquisite wooden interiors surrounded by pristine walls. The Palace is enclosed within beautiful gardens. The architecture is a medley of Tudor style and Scottish style and has gothic undertones. A lot of physical artefacts inside are of British origin. It is said that the architecture of this building is inspired by that of the Windsor Castle and other architectural marvels of England and Normandy. The most prominent features of the Palace like the two-level granite structure of the fortified towers and turreted parapets take direct inspiration from the Tudor building styles. The entrance is decorated with grand Roman arches. The exterior of the building is covered in eccentric shapes and angles. The exterior walls are of a blushing cinnabar shade that gives the building a quaint Victorian vibe. The floor of the open courtyard of the Palace is adorned with granite seats covered with azure ceramic tiles. The ground floor also contains a beautifully decorated ballroom. The first floor of the Palace has a distinct chamber known as the Durbar Hall attached to an ornate staircase. This hall is famous for the enormous elephant head that is mounted in it and its gothic style tinted glass windows.

"One hell of a crazy trek this one. The views were just splendid, and the organisers had it all charted out, and were extremely helpful. An initial route through the forest is what we go through which is not that tiring,

This was a really nice trip. Firstly, this place is close by Bangalore and very much in driving distance. Secondly, the adventure activities are well-organized. They are safe too. This way it is very easy and convenient for us to blindly trust and do this.

 width=

It was a very well organised trek by friendly and courteous hosts. Awesome Adventures were great and were fun to trek with. Homestay near Chembra Peak was beautiful with coffee plantations close-by and it was raining the whole time

Revealing The Ultimate Route To Reach Dispur From Major Indian Cities

How to reach dispur from delhi-mumbai-kolkata-bangalore.

Dispur is a lively city that's known for its rich cultural heritage, scenic beauty, and warm hospitality. The capital city of Assam provides an unforgettable experience to all who visit it. Whether you're traveling from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata or Bangalore, you're in for a real adventure getting there. This guide has been designed by us to make your trip smooth and hassle-free.

1.Reaching Dispur from Delhi:

The quickest way to reach Dispur from Delhi is via plane. Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU) in Guwahati is the closest airport to Dispur and has regular flights that transport passengers between the two destinations. Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in Delhi also offers this service so please check before booking your tickets!

There are currently no direct trains operating between these two cities, however there is one that goes directly to Guwahati Railway Station (GHY). It's only 5km away from Dispur so definitely still an option. This journey will take approximately 30-35 hours.

This last option should be used as a last resort as it covers around 1,900 kilometers and takes about 35-40 hours total travel time using the NH27 and NH27A highways.

2.Reaching Dispur from Mumbai:

The fastest way to get to Disurp from Mumbai is once again by plane. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) in Mumbai offers several flights daily headed towards Guwahati Airport (GAU). The flight lasts about 3-4 hours.

Although there isn't any direct train routes available right now, you can book a ticket at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) for Mumbai - Guwahati Railway Station (GHY). The travel time is around 40-45 hours.

Driving would take about half the country as the distance covers roughly 2,600 kilometers and takes around 50-55 hours via NH27 and NH27A.

3. Reaching Dispur from Kolkata:

The fastest way to get to Dispur from Kolkata is by plane, as always. Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (CCU) in Kolkata offers daily flights headed towards Guwahati Airport (GAU), which is nearby Dispur. This flight lasts approximately 1-1.5 hours.

There are multiple train routes available that can take you straight to Guwahati Railway Station (GHY) if you're looking for a cheaper alternative. It takes around 17-20 hours coming from Howrah Junction (HWH).

Lastly we have driving, although I can't imagine anyone wanting to drive for a whole day instead of flying or taking a train. If that's your style though, it's about 1,100 kilometers and takes about 24-26 hours via NH27 and NH27A.

4.Reaching Dispur from Bangalore:

People from the city of Bangalore have a number of options to get to Dispur. The most popular method is to fly into Guwahati Airport (GAU) in Assam. There are several airlines that operate flights from Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) in Bangalore. Flights take about 3 hours.

It's a bummer, but there isn't any direct train that'll transport you from Bangalore to Dispur. That doesn't mean you're out of luck! The journey is still possible by boarding a train at Bangalore City Railway Station (SBC) to Guwahati Railway Station (GHY). There are multiple trains to choose from and the travel time should be about 50-55 hours.

We all love road trips! If you're down for a lengthy car ride, driving is certainly an option. It's a whopping distance of 2,200 km and could take up to 45-50 hours depending on traffic and other factors. No need to worry about getting lost much. Just follow NH44 and NH27 through Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, and Assam until you reach your destination.

Conclusion:

Dispur doesn't offer the same convenience as many Indian cities in terms of transportation but it's not impossible to get there! Whether you come by plane or end up settling with that breathtaking train ride or scenic road trip just make sure you plan accordingly so everything runs smoothly.
