Here It Is, il tributo di Peter Gabriel a Leonard Cohen

Here It Is: A Tribute to Leonard Cohen .

Sono felice di far parte di “Here It Is”.

Peter Gabriel has announced plans to tour in 2023. The upcoming jaunt will take place across the U.K. and Europe, beginning in late spring. The tour marks the artist’s first shows outside North America since 2014’s Back to Front tour, which celebrated Gabriel’s career-defining drop, So .

The forthcoming European tour will see Gabriel deliver material off his newly announced LP, i/o , and fan favorites paired with numbers plucked from across his extensive music catalog. On tour, the artist will be joined by Tony Levon, David Rhodes and Manu Katché.

The impending run begins on May 18 in Krakow, Poland, followed by two stops in Italy. From there, Gabriel will meander through France before arriving in Germany. Then, following a handful of gigs in Deutschland, the musician will trek up to Scandinavia, where he’ll perform in Stockholm, Sweden, on May 31, followed by a performance in Bergen, Norway, at the Koengen.

From there, Gabriel will return to Germany for shows in Zurich, Cologne, Hamburg and Frankfurt, followed by a stand at Arkea Arena in Bordeaux, France. Then, for the tour’s final leg, the musician will return to his native land for a handful of performances across the United Kingdom. The last date lands on June 25 at 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.

In the wake of the newly announced tour, Gabriel shared, “It’s been a while and I am now surrounded by a whole lot of new songs and am excited to be taking them on the road for a spin. Look forward to seeing you out there.” Tickets for the late-spring European jaunt go on sale Friday, Nov. 11, via LiveNation.com . Gabriel’s Mailing List members have been sent a link for early access to pre-order.

Additional details on i/o are forthcoming.

Fresh out of a pandemic, Australia’s 2023 touring calendar was one of the busiest in recent memory, as artists of all stripes took centrestage everywhere from stadium shows to intimate local gigs. With a starry schedule that included the likes of Post Malone , Red Hot Chili Peppers , and Mötley Crüe , it’ll be tricky for 2024’s schedule to outdo its predecessor – and yet, thanks to the likes of Taylor Swift , Blink-182 and Pink , plus Coldplay, Pearl Jam and SZA, it’s poised to do just that.

From debut headline shows for breakout artists to bustling festival sideshow programs, there’s something for everyone to enjoy as a stellar batch of musicians make their way Down Under in 2024. Read on for NME’s roundup of all the biggest concerts and tours coming to Australia this year.

Here are the concerts and tours coming to Australia in 2024:

James Taylor: An Evening with James Taylor & His All-Star Band When: April 12 – April 28 Find tickets and more info here

If there was ever a festival made for James Taylor & His All-Star Band at this juncture of his 50-year career, it’s Day on the Green . The singer will perform at wineries in Queensland (Sirromet Wines in Mount Cotton), and New South Wales (Bimbadgen in the Hunter Valley, and Centennial Vineyards in Bowral) across April 2024. Taylor will be accompanied by Aussie pair Josh Pyke and Ella Hooper .

Taylor is also playing his own headline shows. After selling out dates in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney, new shows have been added in those cities. A Live Nation pre-sale begins February 9 while general on-sale starts February 12.

Chase & Status When: April 19 – April 28 Find more info and ticket waitlists here

They’re notably playing RAC Arena in Perth, on top of Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane.
