Five-Star Rating on TripAdvisor!

Highly recommend the Salt Lake City Tour w/ Tabernacle Organ Performance. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided a great history of the city as well as points of interest along the tour. The Tabernacle Organ recital was spectacular. Thanks to the tour guide for a great experience for two first time visitors to Salt Lake City!

I did all 3 tours..The 5 hour City tour on a Sunday, so saw the Tabernacle choir..a must! I also did the Copper mine and the Great Salt Lake tour. The weather was poor for the copper canyon tour, but it was lovely by the afternoon for the Lake tour! All the buses arrived on time and all 3 drivers drove with care and were really informative!

There is a lot to see during this tour, the highlight being the choir performance - visually and musically beautiful. With so much to see, our guide was a key component to making the tour the fun time it was. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job. You could tell he loved talking about his city and its heritage.

Our guide and bus driver was an excellent people person. Gave us all an indepth talk on history of Salt Lake City whilst showing travellers all of the city's attractions. He got to know where we all came from ,made us feel at ease and offered great loal advice. Overall a very enjoyable 3.5 hr tour.

Taylor Swift made big changes to Eras Tour. What to know about set list, 'Tortured Poets'

PARIS, France — Who's afraid of little old Taylor Swift adding an additional set to her already extensive Eras Tour setlist ? The singer revivified her magnum opus in La Défense Arena adding seven songs from "The Tortured Poets Department."

Swift rearranged the majority of the show, leaving only the "Lover," "Fearless" and "Midnights" eras in their original spots. "Folklore" and "Evermore" joined forces in one eight-song set. Swift also debuted several new outfits and cut some songs from the set list.

Toward the end of her show, Swift officially launched the long-awaited “The Tortured Poets Department” section of the tour after the 1989 era.

Live from Paris: Taylor Swift's Eras Tour begins again in France

Swift performed the track “But Daddy I Love Him” off the April 19 album for her ecstatic fans while wearing a new beige dress with cursive letters.

Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle.

A road spiraled down the catwalk in an animation to initiate the era. The background animation showed a deserted road while large cages animated and fell on the road.

“Oh my god you should see your faces,” she sang.

She quickly segwayed into a brief moment of “So High School,” the beloved track speculated to be about her romance with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. She then performed the powerhouse anthem “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me.”

Swift switched to “Down Bad” before seamlessly transitioning into the lead single “Fortnight.” Stage production recreated an asylum that resembled the music video for the song with Post Malone, whose recorded harmony played concluding the song.

Dancers entered the stage in a marching band style format playing drums as she performed the wrath-fueled song “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived.” Dancers Jan Ravnik and Kameron Saunders then revived Swift in a jazzy skit to set up “I Can Do With A Broken Heart,” where she debuted another new outfit.

“The End” text displayed wrapping up the era that’s likely here to stay. Other beloved tracks like “Guilty As Sin” and “Florida!” did not make the cut.

At the start of the secret set, Swift described the "Tortured Poets" set as "Female Rage: The Musical." Fans then got to hear another song from the new album as she played heartbreaking ballad "loml" on the piano as part of her acoustic set.

Set list: Taylor Swift unveils new Eras Tour in Paris with 'Tortured Poets' tracks

'The Tortured Poets Department' songs added to set list

Swift added these seven new songs from "Tortured Poets" to her set list:

  • "But Daddy I Love Him"
  • "So High School"
  • "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me"
  • "Fortnight"
  • "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived"
  • "I Can Do It With A Broken Heart"

The eras in a new order

Swift switched up the order of her eras in the set list. Here's how the new show proceeds:

  • "Speak Now"
  • "Reputation"
  • "Folklore" and "Evermore" combined
  • "The Tortured Poets Department"
  • Acoustic set of rotating, secret songs
  • "Midnights"

Check out the entire new set list here .

Songs cut from the Eras Tour set list

Swift gave a preview of the songs cut from her show in the first release of her Eras Tour movie. To be fair, she incorporated opening act Paramore during the "Speak Now" set to sing "Castles Crumbling" after "Enchanted."

  • "Lover": "The Archer"
  • "Evermore": "'Tis the Damn Season" and "Tolerate It"
  • "Speak Now": "Long Live"
  • "Folklore": "The 1" and "The Last Great American Dynasty"

The tortured poet debuted the new set in front of 40,000-plus fans at La Défense Arena in Paris.

So many tour companies try to separate the tour from its surroundings to create a cruise ship-like experience that floats across the land in a giant bubble where people are herded from place to place and purposely isolated from what they see.  So, people see but don't experience.  This is NOT what we do!

Go BIG was founded by a traveler to help fellow travelers appreciate not just the sites but the local culture by fostering experiences with locals, whether it be a cooking class in Nicaragua, fishing for piranhas in the Amazon, a pisco sour-making expo in Peru, or a rug weaving tutorial in Bolivia.  Go BIG brings guests closer to the places they are visiting for more intimate experiences.

GIVING BACK

Go BIG wants to help!  There are so many ways to give back to leave the places visited better off because you were there, or to leave a better person because of your experience.  Often it's both!

Go BIG has partnered with multiple organizations that protect children, animals, and landscapes. If schedules permit, and pre-approval is granted, micro-volunteering opportunities can be available in certain areas of the tour. The goal for these volunteering opportunities is to allow for Go BIG travelers to be introduced to some incredible organizations that are making a difference for individuals, communities, landscapes, animals, and the world as a whole. The hope is that these opportunities will inspire future engagement with these organizations or similar ones. Each organization is unique as are the opportunities available to engage with them. Some of the opportunities will allow for seeing completed projects that the organization was involved in, some will allow for meeting of the staff members, others will allow for direct involvement. The specific engagements possible for one tour date may not be available for all tour dates, and we will do our best to provide maximum engagement for those that are interested.

Where do we start?

If you’re intent on locking in on one central story at the 2024 PGA Championship this week at Valhalla in Louisville, Ky., good luck with that.

“The gods of script writing have shone a very bright light on the PGA Championship for years,’’ CBS commentator Jim Nantz said. “They have put on some of the most exciting majors of all. And Valhalla has produced some memorable and epic events there — Tiger [Woods] and Bob May, Rory [McIlroy] edging out Rickie [Fowler] and Phil [Mickelson] at the end in darkness in 2014, the [2012] Ryder Cup.

Scottie Scheffler of the United States

“I kind of feel like Valhalla is charmed and just has this ability to produce high drama, so I can’t wait to see what it’s going to be this time.’’

You could focus on world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who enters this week having won four of his last five starts, including his second Masters green jacket .

Scheffler has finished no worse than in a tie for 17th in his 10 tournaments this year. The only tournament he didn’t win in the past five he finished runner-up.

Oh yes, Scheffler also enters the week having taken this week’s Wells Fargo Championship off to be with his wife, Meredith, who’s expecting the couple’s first child any minute.

If she doesn’t give birth before Thursday’s opening round, but does during the tournament, Scheffler is on record saying he’d leave immediately.

So, there’s that drama lurking.

There, too, is always McIlroy drama .

The Northern Irishman last won a major championship 10 years ago at — you guessed it — Valhalla. That was McIlroy’s second consecutive major championship, having won the British Open the month before. And, at that time, the assumption was that McIlroy would coast to double-digit career majors.

Instead, he’s stuck on the same four he had when he left Valhalla a decade ago.

Rory McIlroy, of Northern Ireland

And it’s not as if McIlroy has lost his game since Valhalla. In the 35 majors McIlroy has played since Valhalla 2014, he’s finished in the top 10 23 times and in the top 5 11 times. He’s finished eighth and tied for seventh in his last two PGA Championships.

Shifting from the McIlroy storyline, we bring you to LIV Golf and the 16 players representing the controversial Saudi-backed tour that’s poached some of the best players in the world from the PGA Tour.

At the head of the LIV Golf list this week is Brooks Koepka, who happens to be the defending champion and a three-time PGA Championship winner.

Oh yes, and Koepka is fresh off winning the latest LIV tournament — right on cue — as he tries to cement his reputation as one of the sport’s great big-game hunters and bag a fourth PGA and a sixth career major.

Captain Brooks Koepka, of Smash GC

Also among the LIV contingent is Jon Rahm, the former world No. 1 who’s had a rather quiet run on the Saudi circuit. Rahm is coming off a disappointing Masters.

Mickelson, three years removed from his remarkable PGA win at Kiawah Island, and Bryson DeChambeau also will be taking their shots at Valhalla, as will Cam Smith, who was ranked No. 2 in the world before signing with LIV.

Two other huge stories lurking this week involve a pair of best friends — Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth.

Thomas is a native of the Louisville area and desperately wants to win in front of his family and friends in his hometown.

Though his form has been inconsistent for a while, Thomas does have two major championships on his résumé — and both of them are PGA Championships.

Justin Thomas

Spieth, whose form also has been erratic of late, needs a PGA Championship title to complete the career grand slam, something only five players in the history of the game have accomplished.

Spieth won the Masters and U.S. Open in 2015 and the British Open 2017, so this will be his eighth attempt at history.

A year ago at Oak Hill, Michael Block, then an unknown club pro from Mission Viejo, Calif., was arguably the bigger rock star for the week other than Koepka, who was the one to hoist the Wanamaker Trophy.

Block, among other things, had a hole-in-one while paired with McIlroy in the final round, and finished tied for 15th, which earned him an exemption into this week’s PGA.

Never miss a story.

Will there be another Block Party at Valhalla?

We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention Tiger Woods, who’s coming off his record 24th consecutive made cut at the Masters in April.

He finished last among the players who made the cut, but he finished, which was an accomplishment given his litany of physical ailments.

Woods won the second of his four PGA Championships at Valhalla 24 years ago, staving off little-known May in an epic Sunday battle.

What might Woods have in store this week?

Another cut made? In contention over the weekend?

Drama awaits.

Kevin kisner, bill haas and the bryan brothers among south carolina natives who missed cut at myrtle beach classic 2024, share this article.

big tours s.l

It was a tough week to be a pro golfer with ties to the Palmetto State.

At least eight natives of South Carolina enjoyed some home-cooking at the Myrtle Beach Classic at the Dunes Golf & Beach Club, but they were still sent packing on Friday.

Not all the South Carolina boys came up short. Let’s hear it for William McGirt, technically a native of North Carolina but the pride of Wofford College, who birdied his final two holes to shoot 69 and make the weekend — with his son on the bag, no less — right on the number. It took 2-under 140 for 69 pros and one amateur to make the weekend at the debut of this Tour stop. PGA Tour rookie Trace Crowe, 27, of Greenville, S.C., shot 63, his career-low 18-hole score on Tour and the low round of the tournament to make the cut by a comfortable margin as did Matt Atkins (-4), who won the sponsor exemption via a competition dubbed “The Q,” and Matt NeSmith, who eagled 15th to make the cut on the number.

But Wesley Bryan, born and bred in Colombia, S.C., wasn’t so lucky. He finished with a pair of bogeys to miss the cut by one. Here’s a look at some of the other South Carolina natives who had plenty of local love but couldn’t give the faithful enough reasons to cheer this time around.

Another South Carolina native failed to make the weekend in Myrtle Beach. Haas, 41, had his dad, Jay, on the bag but he still missed his fourth cut in five PGA Tour starts this season. Haas posted rounds of 70-71 to miss the cut by a stroke.

Haas of Greenville, South Carolina, hit just 13 of 28 fairways and lost nearly a stroke to the field on the greens in each round. He made a double at No. 18, his ninth hole of the day on Friday, and managed just one birdie on his second nine.

The former FedEx Cup champion has slipped to No. 869 in the world.

The Clemson product shot 70-71 to miss the cut by one. He’s missed the cut in both of his starts this season on the PGA Tour.

Trahan, 43, who hails from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and now calls Kiawah Island home, struggled off the tee. He hit just five of 14 fairways and Friday and a bogey at 17 sealed his fate.

Bryan, who played this week on a sponsor’s invite, carded rounds of 71-70 to miss the cut by one.

Bryan, a former South Carolina Gamecock who hails from Columbia, South Carolina, and now calls Aiken home, made four bogeys in each round. The 36-year-old YouTube star was making his first PGA Tour start this season. His short game let him down. He was five of 12 in scrambling and lost more than three strokes to the field on the greens over two days.

Bryan missed the cut for the second straight week and third time in four Tour starts this season.

This one had to sting as Bryan, who hails from Columbia, South Carolina, made bogey on the final two holes to miss the cut by one.

The 34-year-old Bryan, who won the 2017 RBC Heritage in his native state, was wild off the tee on Friday and just one of four in sand saves.

Kevin Kisner

Kisner, 40, missed the cut for the third straight week and kept his seat on the struggle bus: he’s played the weekend in just two of 11 starts this season, and one of those was a no-cut event.

Kisner shot 73-68. He rallied with an eagle and two birdies on the front nine on Friday but settled for nine straight pars coming home when he needed to make a couple of birdies.

On Thursday, the Aiken, South Carolina, resident hit just 12 of 18 greens and lost more than two strokes to the field in SG: Approach the Green.

Martin, 36, from Greenwood, South Carolina, and a former Clemson Tiger, shot 73-70.

Our favorite Martin missed the cut for the fifth time in nine starts this season. He has just one top-25 finish all season, a T-7 at the Valero Texas Open. Martin made just three birdies over 36 holes this week.

Jonathan Byrd

The 46-year-old Byrd shot 72-71 to miss the cut and is 0-for-4 this season on the PGA Tour.

The Anderson, South Carolina, native and former Clemson Tiger has missed 14 straight cuts dating back to last season. He last earned a paycheck on Tour at the RBC Canadian Open in June.

Tommy Gainey

Gainey, 48, the pride of Darlington, South Carolina, and a resident of Bishopville, shot 73-71 to miss the cut.

Gainey, who attended Central Carolina Technical College, didn’t make a par in his first five holes on Friday – three birdies and two bogeys – and his fate was sealed by a double bogey at No. 11.

He’s missed the cut in two of three Tour starts this season.

2024 Wells Fargo Championship live stream, watch online, TV schedule, channel, tee times, golf coverage, radio

One week and one big-time event separate players from the second major championship of the season.

wells-fargo-championship-flag-g.jpg

An elevated purse, additional FedEx Cup points and one last trophy before the PGA Championship are all up for grabs this week at the 2024 Wells Fargo Championship. With 69 of the best players on the PGA Tour and many of those names who aim to factor in a week's time at Valhalla in the field, the Wells Fargo Championship is likely to produce a major championship-type leaderboard on a major championship-type test.

Quail Hollow once again hosts the Wells Fargo Championship as it has done so in the past, including last year when Wyndham Clark broke through for his first career PGA Tour victory. Clark has since transformed into a completely different golfer winning the U.S. Open later that year and has since tacked on this year's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am while consistently contending in these signature events.

While Clark was the top man a year ago, Rory McIlroy has been on that perch over the last decade or so. Three times a winner at Quail Hollow and fresh off his 25th career PGA Tour victory and 35th birthday, the four-time major champion hopes to continue this upward trajectory ahead of his return to Valhalla -- the site of his last major championship triumph in 2014.

McIlroy's drought consists of major championships, but that of Patrick Cantlay, Xander Schauffele, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Tommy Fleetwood and Cameron Young consists of PGA Tour wins. This lot has combined to get shutout over the last two years and will hope to breakthrough for a much-needed title in Charlotte.

Masters contenders Collin Morikawa and Max Homa plan to tee it up while Hideki Matsuyama and Viktor Hovland round out the action at Quail Hollow.

Our tour buddy was Aleksander and we highly recommend him if you are planing a visit to Serbia. He is extremely knowledgeable in history and culture of Serbia and we have never met someone as knowledgeable as him when it comes to explaining and guiding us through our tour. Apart from giving us insights on the prominent spots and history behind it, we connected with him on a lot of other topics as you would do with a friend that you have met. We are proud to say that we have made a new friend in Serbia and our hope is to host him some day. Thank you soo much Aleks for making our trip so memorable and hope to see you soon buddy..

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour might be about to do for Europe what it did for America

  • The European leg of Taylor Swift's record-breaking Eras Tour kicked off on Thursday.
  • The Eras tour  is the first concert tour to gross over $1 billion, estimates showed.
  • She's crossing the Atlantic at a time when several of the continent's economies are struggling.

Insider Today

The European leg of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour kicked off in Paris on Thursday.

Last summer, the "Tortured Poets Department" singer's concerts helped boost the US economy, driving up spending on everything from restaurants to hotels across the country.

Estimates showed that the Eras tour is the first concert tour to gross over $1 billion.

In 2023, the research firm QuestionPro estimated that the Eras Tour would boost US consumer spending by an eye-popping $4.6 billion . Meanwhile, key business figurers ranging from Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi to policymakers at the Federal Reserve have noted the positive impact Swift's concerts have had on business.

Economists have even coined new phrases like " Swiftonomics " and " funflation " to refer to the idea that in the aftermath of the pandemic, Americans are more willing to splash the cash on live events that might lead to once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.

Now, after quick pit stops in Singapore — where Swift's big-money shows made the country mountains of money and sparked concert envy among its Southeast Asian neighbors — and Australia , Swift is set to embark on an 18-city European tour.

Related stories

She could be set to give the continent's economy a similar boost.

Planeloads of American fans have followed her across the Atlantic, The Associated Press reported on Thursday, which is likely to fuel an uplift in spending.

When Beyoncé came to Sweden's capital, Stockholm, last summer, economists noted that her fans had spent so much on hotels and meals that they'd triggered a slight bump in inflation. This summer, the city is expecting 10,000 extra concertgoers to fly over from the US to see Swift.

Hotel booking statistics also help to capture the sense of how in-demand Eras Tour tickets are.

By August 2023, hotels in Cardiff and Liverpool in the UK — where Swift will be stopping in June — had already reached occupancy levels of more than 50% for her tour dates, hotel research firm STR reported, with rooms in Cardiff going for $230 more than they typically do.

In December, vacation rental data firm AirDNA found that demand for short-term rentals during Swift's tour dates in Vienna, Austria, and Warsaw, Poland, had already surged by around 2,000%.

The economies of Europe arguably need that boost in spending even more than the US did. The ongoing war in Ukraine has hammered the continent, with one country where Swift will play — Ireland — which was in a technical recession as of late last year — and several others, including the UK, having only just exited a period of negative growth.

Perhaps that means it's the perfect time to welcome back Miss Americana.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Prove They’re Still Pros When It Comes to Royal Tours

Image may contain Prince Harry Duke of Sussex Meghan Duchess of Sussex Clothing Footwear Shoe Hat and Accessories

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are back in “royal” tour mode —but this time, on their own terms. The couple touched down in Nigeria this week for a 72-hour visit, and their wardrobe choices thus far have spoken volumes. Exhibit A: Meghan’s virtually backless dress for a trip to the Jewels Leading Lights Academy in Abuja on Friday that felt much more American Riviera Orchard than House of Windsor; the blush silk design is, in fact, from a 2018 collection by Heidi Merrick, a go-to label for the Duchess in recent months. (The California lifestyle brand is also responsible for her sundress at the polo in Miami .) Paired with vintage Lanvin earrings and her other jewelry signatures (namely, Cartier’s Tank watch and Love bracelet), the look felt simultaneously polished and relaxed.

In a Heidi Merrick dress for the couple’s first outing in Abuja.

For their second engagement on Friday, on the other hand, Harry and Meghan made it clear that, while they may no longer be senior “working” royals, they haven’t forgotten the etiquette drilled into them when dispatched to Australia, Fiji, Tonga, and New Zealand by the late Queen in the wake of their 2018 wedding. Although it’s traditionally left to female members of the royal family to pay tribute to their host country, the Sussexes delivered a fashion double act: the Duchess slipped into a snow-white Altuzarra suit (first worn in Sydney during her pregnancy with Archie), while the Duke appeared in teal-green tailoring, comprising a joint nod to the colors of the Nigerian flag.

This content can also be viewed on the site it originates from.

And first thing on Saturday morning? The couple was back at work once again, with Meghan selecting Johanna Ortiz’s Tropicana Nights dress to watch her husband play a game of volleyball, having previously turned to the Colombian designer for the Ms Foundation Women of Vision Awards . Ever the California girl, the Duchess has long incorporated palm leaves into her wardrobe, from diamond Luna Skye studs to the La Ligne dress she wore to announce her second pregnancy, making this particular look both sentimental and stylish. In other words, classic Meghan.

Emmanuel Macron and Xi Jinping walk in the middle of a large courtyard as they review an assembly of guards during an official welcome ceremony

Xi’s European tour: where is Chinese leader going and what are visit’s aims?

Emmanuel Macron and Viktor Orbán among leaders Xi is meeting, with several key issues on the table

China’s president, Xi Jinping , has begun a three-country tour of Europe – his first state visit to the continent in five years – at a time when China-EU ties are under strain from trade disputes and Russia’s war on Ukraine.

Where is Xi visiting and who will he meet?

The Chinese leader’s visit begins on Monday in Paris, where he is meeting the French president, Emmanuel Macron, for a day of talks that will include a trilateral meeting with the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen , and a state banquet at the Élysée Palace in the evening.

On Tuesday, Macron will accompany Xi to the Tourmalet pass 2,000 metres up in the Hautes-Pyrénées mountains, an area where the French president spent childhood holidays visiting his grandmother, for a day of less formal discussions. The two last met in April 2023 during a three-day state visit to China by Macron .

On Wednesday, Xi will travel to Belgrade for talks with Serbia’s president, Aleksandar Vučić, and on Thursday he will go to Budapest where he will meet Hungary’s prime minister, Viktor Orbán . Both countries are pro-Russia and big recipients of Chinese investment.

What is the purpose of his visit?

Officially, Xi’s visit to Paris is to mark 60 years since diplomatic relations were established between France and China: France was the first western country to formally recognise the People’s Republic of China, on 27 January 1964.

His visit to Belgrade coincides with the 25th anniversary of the bombing of the Chinese embassy in Serbia , when three people died after a US strike accidentally hit the compound during Nato’s air campaign against Serb forces occupying Kosovo.

Analysts have said that in his meetings with Macron and von der Leyen, away from the ceremonies, Xi will mainly be aiming to lobby against the EU’s anti-subsidy investigations, particularly on electric vehicles, and on stabilising diplomatic relationships.

In Serbia , where China is the biggest single source of inward investment, he will hope to play up Beijing’s anti-US, anti-Nato agenda – one reason why China has maintained its support for Russia since its invasion of Ukraine.

In Hungary, Xi will underline the close economic and diplomatic ties between the two countries, including in security cooperation, and discuss progress on China’s belt and road initiative , which includes a high-speed Budapest-Belgrade rail link.

Hungary, a vocal supporter of China that has blocked some EU motions criticising Beijing on human rights, has Huawei’s largest base outside China and will soon host the carmaker BYD’s first European factory.

What big issues will be on the table?

Overshadowing the visit are EU concerns over China’s support for Russia two years into war against Ukraine, and Beijing’s concerns over the bloc’s economic security agenda, including the threat of heavy tariffs on Chinese imports.

Macron and von der Leyen will call on China to stop exports to Russia of “dual-use” and other technologies aiding Moscow war effort. Beijing claims to be neutral in the conflict but China-Russia trade has helped offset western sanctions on Moscow.

after newsletter promotion

Beijing, for its part, aims to head off the threat of European tariffs on Chinese EVs after an EU investigation into state support for the industry in China. Studies put China’s subsidies at between three and nine times those of other major economies.

Human rights groups have said the issues of Tibet and Xinjiang , where the UN has said China may have committed crimes against humanity by placing up to a million ethnic Uyghur Muslims in re-education camps, must be raised.

What is the outcome likely to be?

Most analysts doubt that the EU and its messages on the looming trade dispute and Chinese support for Russia over Ukraine will make much headway with Xi, whose visit seems designed to exploit the bloc’s internal differences.

China’s economy is facing some difficulties and the US is increasingly reticent about opening up to Chinese companies, meaning the EU could have some leverage, but its 27 members are not fully aligned on China policy, undermining their influence.

Macron wants a more aggressive EU stance on subsidies and has warned that the bloc risks falling behind without one, but other leaders, such as Germany’s chancellor, Olaf Scholz, stress the importance of the Chinese market for their own exporters.

Overall, said Janka Oertel, of the European Council on Foreign Relations, Xi’s Paris visit is “unlikely to have a significant impact on Chinese behaviour”. And Shen Dingli, a Shanghai-based analyst, said the Belgrade and Budapest stops were part of China’s efforts to deepen divisions within the west.

Norwegian Pearl

Packing for this cruise could be a breeze.

Bare Necessities Tour & Travel (a nudism-focused travel company) has announced an 11-day Caribbean cruise for nudists on Norwegian Pearl.

Although the cruise represents a new partnership with Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), the company has chartered over 75 full-ship nude and clothing-optional cruises since 1990.

Norwegian Pearl has a maximum capacity of 2,394 guests with staterooms spread across seven decks. The ship offers 16 dining venues, 14 bars and lounges, a casino, and a spa, so guests will have ample opportunities to relax and socialize with people with shared interests.

In addition to the onboard entertainment on the ship, Bare Necessities typically hosts a passenger talent show and themed events.

The ship has a range of staterooms, including accommodations in The Haven , the ship-within-a-ship concept pioneered by NCL. Upscale amenities at this luxury enclave include 24-hour butler service, concierge services, keycard access, and a private sundeck.

Prices for the cruise, based on double occupancy, start at around $2000 per person and go up to more than $30,000 for a three-bedroom Garden Villa in The Haven.

FAQs on the Bare Necessities website explicitly states that clothing will be required while docked at port, in the main and specialty dining rooms, and during the Captain’s reception. Crew members are clothed throughout the cruise and all guests must be 21 years and older.

So, what do you pack in a carry-on for a nude cruise?

At a minimum, you’ll need lots of sunscreen, a swimsuit for excursions, and appropriate attire for the dining rooms.
