Saturday 25th March 2023, 10AM – 4PM

Stirling Street Arts Centre  is Bunbury’s hub for cultural events, workshops and creative activities. With a history of art and craft classes that dates back to the 1970s, the Centre plays a crucial part in connecting Bunbury’s community with creativity

Every year, Stirling Street Arts Centre runs the Tree Street Art Safari (Saturday, 25th March 2023), their biggest and best walking art trail event showcasing the incredible work of Geographe artists varying from oil acrylics, sculptures, jewellery and pottery and many more. To see the full list of artists, visit Tree Street Art Safari’s  website here .

Beginning in 2015, the Tree Street Safari has been a much-anticipated event in the calendar for Bunbury. Inspired by Kerry Gelmi’s visit to New Zealand and the creative walking tours she encountered on her trip, Gelmi was eager to bring to Bunbury this fantastic event.

Embark on the free self-guided walking tour, exploring the streets named after native trees and spot the work of over 50 artists exhibited at private studios, in open gardens and sprinkled throughout the streets. Marvel at the restored homes, appreciate the manicured gardens and take in the impressive talent of WA residents.

The event relies on sponsors to run the event, providing a space for local artists to promote their art. Breathe Accounting are providing financial assistance to compensate for the set-up, management and running of the event. It takes many hands to organise the day, without sponsorship, the event could not be held.

We anticipate 2023’s Safari will be even bigger. Grab your tour map from Victoria Street (full details provided on Tree Street Art Safari’s  Facebook page ) and gain full access to the many art shows along the trail. If you get lost, not to worry, follow the rainbow flags and you’ll be back on your course.

Join us on the Saturday for a day of discovering the incredible work of Bunbury’s finest artists.
