Day 1:  Arrival in Moscow 

• Arrival in Moscow, meeting with a guide at the airport, transportation to the hotel.

All international travelers planning to visit the Russian Federation should apply for the visa prior to travel. 

For a tourist visa, the applicant must provide a Tourist Voucher, generally obtainable by a Russian local travel agency. The tourist visa is issued for a period of one month only. The entries within this one month can be- Single Entry and Double Entry. Multiple Entry standing valid for one year is solely permitted to US citizens.

Russia Visa Requirements (Documents)

Russia allows Visa-on-Arrival facility for the UAE nationals from February 2019 .  As per the agreement, Emirati nationals are now eligible for 30-days of stay in Russia on Visa-on-Arrival. This agreement is only applicable for UAE nationals. Citizens of other countries residing in the UAE will have to check with their respective countries visa policy and embassies. 

Citizens of the US, Syria, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan Afghanistan and few other nations have different visa requirements. It is advisable that nationals of these countries check with their respective embassies before traveling.

Has anyone used this agent before Audley Travel ( http://audleytravel.com )?

I recently signed up for a holiday to South America and was a last minute addition to the tour of 7 of us. I am only sharing a triple room and for a 10 day tour to Rio, Bueno Aires and Iguazu Falls it is costing me £2850.

To top it all off it is actually only 9 full days not 10 as one of those days is flying back to the UK,

I realise I had a choice as to whether or not I agreed to go but due to recent stresses in my life I needed to get away and it was just a phone call to the agent to get this sorted. I guess I signed up stupidly not realising what terrible value for money it was, which is unlike me.

I was curious if anyone else found the same with Audley Travel?

Next time for sure, I will be organising myself and will never use these services again.

I would never use such an agency to book a holiday or vacation. I travel solo and I book my holidays independently without middlemen agencies, which gives me direct access to each service provider. I did look at prices and I think I could do better. I noted a previous poster commenting on a hefty solo supplement, for example. I looked at the Terms and Conditions and the legalize is typical boiler plate. I suspect most of the prior grievances on this thread had to do with perception of what the traveler was getting vs. reality of the terms. Additionally, poor aftercare has come up a bunch. Whether justified or not, those complaints need attention - and those posters didn't feel it. And these are the reasons I choose to book my travel independently and directly.

David, your opinion is our opinion and you are entitled to express it here. Others are equally entitled to challenge that opinion and that includes wondering why you don't seem to have any opinions on other subjects.

I have no experience of Audley Travel myself. I completely agree with bk about the advantages and benefits of making my own arrangements. But at the same time I'm open to hearing what advantages and benefits there are for others in going through a company like Audley.
