Travel Club Lounge

Ratings and reviews, location and contact.

The lounge was a very basic lounge. The lounge and bathrooms were very clean. They offered Indian food with a variety of meat and vegan options including soup. They offered soft drinks, tea, coffee, water, variety of juice and milk. I found it odd that... they offered coke but if you wanted Diet Coke you had to pay. Alcohol was also a charged extra item. An airport lounge at Mumbai Domestic Airport (Terminal-1). This is a decent lounge near the gate numbered 40. It is usually crowded and one can get an entry with either a valid credit card or with the Priority Pass card. They have a bar and... a spa Inside , the service of both can be availed on payment. The food at the lounge is decent and you will usually find hot beverages, canned juices to soups and main course to desserts. Including sandwiches, salads, southern cuisines, veg and non veg options all. Overall a decent experience if not for the rush. One of the best lounges experience, and amazing food, great for spending time while waiting for your flight while traveling through Mumbai Domestic Airport. Me and my hubby frequently travel for work and this lounge is one of our favourite eating place, love the food, staff, service and vibe of this place. More

Review: Travel Club Lounge Mumbai Airport Terminal 1

Last Updated on April 6, 2021 by Soumya

On my recent trip to Bhubaneswar with my little one, I decided to explore the TFS Travel Club Lounge at Terminal 1 of Mumbai’s Chatrapatti Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) . Low frill airlines such as Indigo and Go Air fly from this terminal. The last time I had traveled from this terminal, I had to eat a disappointing blueberry cheesecake. This time I was looking for something better. And I was pleasantly surprised to find an elaborate TFS Travel Club Lounge in this section.

Travel Club Lounge Mumbai Terminal 1 | Stories by Soumya #tfs #travelclubloungemumbai #loungereview #mumbai #chatrapatishivajiinternationalairport

Here’s my review of the Travel Club Lounge at Mumbai CSIA Terminal 1.

About tsf travel club lounge.

The Travel Club Lounge at Mumbai T1 is operated by TFS (Travel Food Services) , a leading F&B operator in India’s travel retail segment. TFS has a number of Travel Club Lounges across many Indian airports. Mumbai Domestic & International, Chennai, Kolkata, and Nagpur are a few of those.

Travel Club Lounge Mumbai Terminal 1 | Stories by Soumya

At Mumbai’s Domestic Airport in Navpada Ville Parle, TFS’ Travel Club Lounge is located at Terminal 1C which is the aerobridges section of Terminal 1 . It is directly opposite Gate #22 on the first floor. We were lucky to be assigned to Gate #24 this time and that gave us an opportunity to experience the hospitality of this lounge. If you are assigned to one of the ground floor gates (no aerobridge section) at Mumbai T1, then you cannot access the Travel Club Lounge from there.

Access to Travel Club Lounge, Mumbai T1

You can access the Travel Club Lounge at Mumbai T1 with your Priority Pass . As of Jan 2019, Mastercard holders can also access the lounge . Children under 4 are allowed free entry.

You can also pay at the door. The most recent (as on 19th March 2019) walk-in rate for the lounge is INR 950 . This price is inclusive of all applicable taxes.

Layout & Decor

The Travel Club Lounge on T1C is quite spacious. The lounge reception is located right at the entrance on your left. As you enter the lounge, you will see a slightly elevated drinks and dining area in front of you. The bar is right behind it.

On the left is a bigger dining area for travelers, families, and other groups. On the left corner of this dining area, two buffet tables are neatly arranged in an inverted L shape. In front is a salad bar featuring cold items. On the right, is an interesting addition – an Indian Chaat counter . Chaat is a savory snack that is relished at streetside stalls in India. If you wish to feel the pulse of India, you eat Chaat!

Beyond the dining and kitchen areas are located separate washrooms for men and women.

As you enter the lounge, on your left, you will find an open seating area as well as an enclosed space with sofas and lounge chairs that can be easily used for meetings and private discussions.

Travel Club Lounge Mumbai Terminal 1 | Stories by Soumya

I especially loved the decor of this place. It is contemporary and smart. Large, white, leaf-patterned panels have been used as separators between sections. You will see more of them on the right.

There is an assortment of chairs including plush sofas, lounge chairs, and bar stools. The ones in the dining area were pretty comfortable. Walls feature a couple of antique clocks. On the wall of the enclosed part of the lounge is an antique representation of the world map.

Food & Drinks

We were at the Travel Club Lounge between 3:30 – 4:30 pm on Tuesday, the 19th of March. The food & drinks section is representative of what was available at that time. It may vary between times and between days.

The salad bar featured green salad, fresh fruits, Pita sticks, hummus, and other Middle-Eastern specialties . There was also a hot soup on the counter. I liked the cold counter. The Pita sticks were great and so were the hummus and roasted potatoes.

The buffet was laid around 4 pm and included plenty of hot Indian dishes such as Masala Podi Idlis (my choicest dish there), Upma, Sambar, Bread Chops, and Sabudana Pops. There were also a couple of fusion dishes such as barbequed chicken wings and spicy pasta. Overall, the buffet was okay. None of the dishes really wowed me apart from the Masala Podi Idli and the accompanying coconut chutney.

At the Chaat counter, you will find many chaat varieties such as Papri Chaat and Bhel Puri. There is usually a Chef Special every day and the one on the day of our travel was Pav Bhaji. I did not taste any of the chaats which is why I cannot comment on their qualities.

Have you tasted the Burmese Chaat yet? Locally known as “Thoke”, it is quite a popular dish in Myanmar. Read all about it on our article on Myanmar Traditional Food .

Travel Club Lounge Mumbai Terminal 1 | Stories by Soumya

And last but not least, we arrive at drinks. The tea and coffee counter is right next to the buffet. At the starting point of the buffet, you will usually spot a couple of juices such as orange and maybe a variant of detox water. Bottled water, juices, and soft drinks are available next to the Coffee counter. The bar is right in front of the entrance. Alcoholic drinks need to be paid for.

Travel Club Lounge Mumbai Terminal 1 | Stories by Soumya

Other Amenities

  • Toilets are located at the left far end of the lounge, beyond the dining and kitchen area.
  • Charging points are available at all sofas and dining tables.
  • WiFi is available.
  • You also have access to newspapers and magazines. The newspaper stall is located near the wall that features the world map wallpaper.
  • Flight Information Monitor and Television are available within the premises.

Opening Hours

The lounge is open 24 hours a day. I was here between 3:30 – 4:30 pm on a weekday. And it was not very crowded. That was probably because the lounge is still very new and is located in an area where there aren’t too many gates. Let’s hope things remain the same for times to come.

Travel Club Lounge Mumbai Terminal 1 | Stories by Soumya

Final Verdict

I would recommend the Travel Club Lounge at Mumbai T1. It is like a breath of fresh air in the otherwise not so interesting part of the airport. Food options at this terminal are scarce. Hence, this lounge provides a welcome change even though the food was not that great at the 4 pm buffet. I would love to try some of the dishes at other times of the day. The Chaat counter is definitely something to look out for . Seating space is also quite huge and hence, the place does not look very crowded at most times. I am definitely going back here the next time I have to board a flight from Terminal 1C.

Can I access travel club lounge of Mumbai Terminal-1 with my HDFC Regallia visa credit card ?? And Can My wife access this lounge with other name credit card??

Hi Jatin, I suggest you check with your bank regarding the HDFC Regalia access since these things keep on changing. Your bank should have the most updated info. Regarding your wife accessing the lounge with an other name credit card, she can if the credit card is in your name and you are traveling with her. If she is traveling alone and she has somebody else’s credit card, they won’t allow her.

Can you access this lounge if you are arriving at the Airport and not departing? I am reaching Mumbai T1 on Friday morning, and spending two days in the city before my onward flight from T2. I would like to stop by at this lounge in T1 on my arrival on Friday, is it possible?

Sorry for the late reply Arch. Your comment went into my spam folder! No, you cannot access this lounge when arriving. So that’s not possible. Hope you had a good time in Mumbai.

very nicely done and informative Soumya…Cheers, Rajesh

Thanks Rajesh

Very nice review.Loved the shots.

Thank you very much.

Travel Club Lounge (TFS) at Mumbai T2 Domestic Review

I visited Travel Club Lounge also called as TFS at Mumbai T2 terminal while i was on domestic departure. I was in a hurry and hardly had 15 mins or so to explore the entire Terminal which is huge enough to spend 2-3 hrs if you plan to visit each and every shop in the terminal. I rushed to TFS lounge skipping the shiny outlets in the terminal and noticed that they accept only Priority Pass during my visit, which was in mid August 2016. Now they’re accepting even my American Express platinum travel card which i recently wrote: Amex complimentary lounge access .

My Experience at Travel Club Lounge (TFS) at Mumbai T2:

As soon as i got access to the lounge, i hardly had 5 minutes or so to check out the entire lounge. All i did was, try some Mango juice in the bar and snap the interiors, food and rushed to the boarding gate. One unique thing of the lounge which i hadn’t seen in any other lounge is the O2 spa which you’ll see as soon as you get inside the lounge.

Books in lounge

Food seems to be delicious and the overall ambience is very attractive & rich enough to be in line with the T2 terminal.

Facilities at Travel Club Lounge (TFS) at Mumbai T2 Domestic:

  • CardExpert Lounge Rating: 4.5/5
  • Food: Yes. Buffet.
  • Ambiance: Very Good.
  • Recharge Station: Yes.
  • Complimentary Access on: Priority Pass , American Express

Overall, its an awesome lounge to visit. I know i’ve utilized one precious Priority Pass visit on my card for mere 5 minutes but its worth it as long as it helps you with the info you were looking for 🙂

With one Priority pass can one get complimentary entry for 3-4 ppl in the lounge?

No, only one allowed per swipe.

travel club lounge mumbai contact

Few months back i visited Pune lounge, and the guy asked me for how many people when he is about to swipe my PP; I asked if he can swipe for 2 or more for which he said yes. I am not very sure if only one complimentary visit is allowed or if we swipe for multiple people all will come under complimentary.

This is happening once in a while as some of the readers also reported the same. But technically, its not allowed and is not possible. It looks like indian Priority pass is different from actual Priority pass, which has this limitations.

Hi, Visited this lounge on Friday. Wanted to share the experience I had when travelling with family. I and my wife have access via multiple debit card( master card) and credit card ( diners). We both used master card to access the lounge for our own. For my daughter ( 9 yrs old ) they wanted a card from a provider different from the one that I used. So I gave them my Diners Black. This way I could get my daughter’s access with ease. I remember around 2 yrs back at Delhi T3, they didnt ask for any card swipe for my daughter. Moral of the story: you need to have lounge access via different providers, in order to get your kids entry ( in lounge where they wont let them in without a card swipe.

Regards, Balpreet

Now I have just Citi Bank rewards visa platinum card which I suppose doesn’t give free lounge access , just visited NPCI website that states rupay platinum gives free access to airport lounges , shall I get a platinum rupay debit card. Needs your suggestions in this regards also is there any other card with free joining and no yearly fees that gives the facility.

Thanks & Regards

My short review of Air Serv Lounge, Mumbai T2. I happened to visit Mumbai and now with T1 closed for renovation, I landed in T2. I had to spend close to 2 hours waiting for my colleague’s flight to arrive. I was looking for some restaurant in the Arrival hall and luckily found the Air Serv Lounge @ T2. Now comes the most tiresome part. The Air Serv lounge is located in the international passenger’s arrival hall and hence domestic passengers cannot get past the security from domestic hall to international hall (due to covid screening and procedures). I was not allowed to go to the international arrival hall. I called up the lounge directly and I was assisted by Ms.Martina. The lady was absolutely accomodating and went beyond her duty to help me out. She made a reservation over the phone for me and sent the printed reservation through an executive who helped clear the security and took me to the lounge. Now the lounge has its own sleeping pod, shower room (both chargeable). PP holders can use the lounge for max 3 hours and can choose from the limited (covid impact again) menu. Food was delicious and fresh. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. After a couple of hours there, when it was time for me to go receive my colleague, Ms.Martina again helped me get back to the domestic arrival hall zipping past the covid screening queues and the security.

PS: This lounge comes under the international arrival hall and maybe because of that the swipe from my PP was accounted in international lounge swipe. No issues here since I have a unlimited PP visit (HDFC Infinia vazhga) feature. Others do check before using your PP/Visa/Master cards as it may come under international visit and you might get charged.

Cool, thanks for sharing. Good to see that the AviServ lounge is able to help you to this extent. Been there once via PP access (before pandemic) but the executive who handled me was just opposite. They even said cool drinks not allowed for PP users.

But I would never even think of visiting International arrival at this time as it increases the chances of getting Covid.

INDIA. Travel Food Services (TFS) has launched Travel Club Lounge, a new executive lounge at Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport Terminal 1 (Domestic). It is designed, said the travel service company, to deliver “comfort, hospitality and convenience” for travellers.

Located in Terminal 1B, it is open around the clock and can accommodate 140 passengers at a time. Facilities include recliners, entertainment, live cooking, a full buffet plus snacks, tea & coffee and cold beverages. The lounge also offers a wide selection of popular newspapers and magazines. TFS COO Gaurav Dewan said: “Mumbai Airport is always bustling with travellers, and Mumbai Domestic Airport was missing the luxury of a world-class lounge product. TFS is always in search of excellence and committed to transforming the F&B experience. Our intent is to give travellers a memory of India to cherish, in the little transition time between or before travel. Considering the volume of travellers and the distances involved in a large country like India, travellers [can] look forward to a place to spend a couple of hours where they can relax, rejuvenate and recharge themselves.”
