Special Notes on Servicing (1) Print head problem (smeared printing, uneven printing, non-ejection of ink, etc.) For problems that are supposed to be caused by the print head (smeared printing, uneven printing, or non- ejection of ink, etc.), print the nozzle check pattern in the user mode to determine whether the print head is faulty or not.
• Page 54 (3) Carriage unit replacement To replace the carriage, the carriage shaft must be removed from the main chassis (by removing the screws).
