Booked my first cruise with these folks. The staff was very helpful and very knowledgeable. I would recommend to use these folks to book your next vacation and you'll be "SAILING SMOOTH"

Awful experience. Tho they are capable of booking travel arrangements, getting a call back or return email was worse than a root canal. I was astonished. All they ever said was "I've been too busy". What??

I have had the opportunity to use All Aboard in the past, but not in the last 7 years. I have always worked with Becky and find her fast and efficient. We haven't had a day off in seven years and after trying to find flights online, it looked like it would take another seven years to choose the right one! Called Becky, told her where we wanted to go and the dates - had my itinerary done in minutes. Just returned from vacation. Since our staff handled the business so well while we were away, we booked another week next month! Once again, Becky returned my call in minutes and found the best price. Love it!

(I would rate this company below a zero if I was able to) DO NOT USE THIS TRAVEL AGENCY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE DIRT! My Father and I booked a cruise to the Bahamas through Judy Weinman. Unfortunately I got very sick and we could not make the cruise. Luckily we had purchased travel insurance (she quoted me $25.00 for the insurance and it turned out to be $49.00). Judy arranged for the claim form to be mailed to me and told me " I don't know a lot about the claims forms but if you have any questions, call me". When I got the claim form there were questions only Judy would know, such as when I purchased the insurance and other booking questions. I called Judy 6 times over a 2 1/2 week period. No call back. I was totally ignored, even though the questions would have taken less than 5 minutes to answer. My claim form was all ready to go except for these questions. My Father and I were waiting on almost $1,400.00 to be reimbursed to us once the claim form was submitted. Yet I sit for 2 1/2 weeks for assistance from Judy. I finally called the insurance company and got the answers I needed. Judy is great once she is making a commission from you. If you get sick or otherwise need to cancel and she loses her commission, forget about ANY help or customer service. This travel agency is terrible, do not use them. Use Triple A - you do not need to be a member and their reputation is unparalleled. 518-426-1000

My husband and I planned a Florida trip. Our first stop was Lake City, then off to Orlando, then to Port St. Lucie and our final stop was St. Petersburgh. Every place we stayed was exceptional and affordable. I would definitly recommend planning my vacation with All Aboard Travel, the women are a delight and looking out for their clients interests. My husband and I agree we will see Becky for all our vacations. Great job!!!! Carol M

Just returned from a family reunion vacation( 15 people) that Becky booked for us. It was so refreshing that she suggested including all transfers & tips to be paid ahead of time! I actually got to keep more $ for fun! Disney and Nassau was awesome! Even when our flight was diverted on the way home, she was on the phone trying to get us a flight closer to home! We have booked the last 4 trips with All Aboard and remain amazed at their professionalism and courtesy. She will be researching our next trip ( Ireland) soon and can't wait to see what adventures she can dig up for us!

The travel agency primarily assists nearby colleges and Hillsdale residents in planning trips around the Midwest, Cabo, Greece, New York, Russia, South Africa, and Spain.

All Aboard Travel operates in a similar way as most large online travel agencies, such as Expedia and Travelocity. Hotels give All Aboard their deals and All Aboard finds people to fill the rooms. It specializes in affordable travel services for large groups or private travelers, and often organizes bussing services for Hillsdale College functions like the University of Michigan-Hillsdale basketball game Saturday.

Director of Student Activities Anthony Manno booked with All Aboard for the exhibition basketball game this weekend. He said All Aboard provided the best option for the dates he needed busses.

“All Aboard Travel has always been very helpful and easy to work with,” Manno said.

“We have schools from all over the U.S. that work with us and that’s a big part of our clientele,” All Aboard Travel Owner Christina Boyer said.

All Aboard has four main travel consultants who help clients travel around the U.S., to the Caribbean, Walt Disney World, cruises, and specialty locations all over the world. Sometimes, the consultants travel with the tour groups to make sure everything is organized and going well.

The company’s Facebook page features a picture of Betty Spahr, the travel agent responsible for specialty destinations, in front of the Taj Mahal on a trip to India.

“India was a very different tour with people from many different cultures and religions,” Spahr said. “It has become a new destination for us.”

Spahr worked as a Spanish teacher in Pittsford, Michigan for 27 years, where she often used All Aboard Travel for bookings to locations such as Mexico, Peru, and Spain. When she retired from teaching in 2010, Boyer offered her a job and Spahr began booking worldwide trips.

“In November, I took a small group to Turkey, where we took a hot air balloon ride over the area of Cappadocia. Floating over the unusual landscape with hundreds of other balloons was a great feeling,” Spahr said.

Spahr has been to Costa Rica, Russia, Salzburg, South Africa, and Zimbabwe, and is now planning specialty trips for groups travelling to places like China in August, and a four-night cruise down the Yangtze River.

Although the NCAA limits overseas trips to once every four years, Al Philipp, International Group Coordinator for All Aboard, is organizing an August excursion to Spain for the Hillsdale College men’s basketball team  to take advantage of the opportunities it has to play abroad.

“We went to Greece four years ago with the team, and we’re very excited to return to Europe,” Philipp said.

Philipp, a native of Vienna, Austria, consults teams and school groups around the area and always enjoys returning home to Europe.

“You can’t really get a picture of the world if you sit behind a desk,” Philipp said.
