IRCTC Andaman Tour Itinerary Package

You will be asked to report at the Mumbai Airport at a particular time from where you will board a flight to Port Blair. Port Blair is the capital of Andaman and Nicobar Island and it will be the place from your exciting journey will begin.

Once, you reach the Port Blair Airport then, the tour representative will guide you through your hotel room. You may have to perform some minor check-in formalities and after that, you can go for a quick freshen up session.

Then, report back in the hall of the hotel because now, you will be enjoying a sightseeing tour of Port Blair. Port Blair is a small country sprawled across the Bay of Bengal which is famous for its cellular jail, Anthropological Museum, Samudrika (Naval Marine Museum), Corbyn Cove Beach.

The cellular Jail in Port Blair is a pre-colonial prison in which Britishers kept political prisoners. And now, it is a tourist spot where people come to see the architectural design that was being constructed during the British rule. Next, you can visit the Anthropological Museum where the information related to all the five tribes living on the island is exhibited. You can get small information about the various tribes like Negroid, Onges, Sentinelese, Jarawas, Andamanese, Mongoloid, Shompens, and Nicobarese.

Then, there is Samudrika which is a very popular Naval Marine Museum where you can see many exotic marine species. Next will be Corbyn Cove Beach where you can have those lonely walks by yourself and can also enjoy various water sports activities.

Afterwards, return to the hotel room for dinner and a nice overnight stay.

In the morning, you will first check-out from the hotel and then, you will board a premium cruise which will get you to Neil Island. Upon your arrival in Neil Island, you will first go through check-in formalities and then, have a quick freshen up session.

Later, you will head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Tourist will also get to enjoy a ferry ride to Havelock Island and will get to witness the world famous Radha Nagar Beach and Kala Pathar Beach. Day 1: Port Blair

Meet and Greet on arrival at Port Blair Airport and get transferred to the hotel with IRTC local representative. After lunch trip to Corbyn's Cove Beach, coconut palm fringed beach, 7 km away from Port Blair town, and later to the Cellular Jail. Overnight stay at Port Blair.

Day  2:  Port Blair - Havelock Island

Morning depart to Havelock Island by ferry to Havelock Island (54 km by sea from Port Blair). Enjoy your afternoon at the World Famous Radha Nagar Beach and Kala Pathar Beach. Overnight stay at respective hotel/resort at Havelock Island.

Day 3: Havelock Island- Niel Island

After breakfast, check out and visit Elephanta beach. Enjoy various water sports activity. Return back to Havelock. After lunch, proceed to Neil Island by ferry. Evening at leisure. Dinner and Night stay in resort.

Day 4: Niel Island - Port Blair

Day 5: Port Blair Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed to Naval Marine Museum (Samudrika) - gives a good retrospect of the history, shells, Corals marine life, geography and archaeology of these islands. Afterwards, visit the Anthropological Museum. Later visit Ross Island. The island presently houses the ruins of old buildings like Chief Commissioner’s House, Government House, Church, Bakery, Press, Swimming Pool, Cemetery, etc. and all in dilapidated condition. Visit North Bay island. Enjoy various Water sports activity (at guests' own cost). The evening is free for shopping. Overnight stay at respective hotel in Port Blair.

Day 6: Departure from Port Blair

After breakfast, get transferred to the airport to board your flight.

The Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched a special tour package to Andaman and Nicobar islands. For centuries, the paragon of beauty was shrouded in mysteries due to inaccessibility. The tour to the shimmering islands, which looks like an emerald of the Bay of Bengal, will start its journey on January 14 next year.

The package — Exotic Andaman — will cover places like Port Blair, North Bay island, Ross Island, Havelock & Neil Island, Cellular Jail, Radha Nagar Beach, Kalapathar Beach, and Bharatpur Beach. The journey will be through flight first from Bhopal then Chennai and then reach Port Blair. The return journey will be on January 20, making it a 6-night and 7-day tour.

I had a fantastic holiday thanks to Nirmala Tours & Holidays. Amazing support has been given by them during the tour. We were able to complete all of our destinations on time thanks to the coordination between Island transfers and on-time pick-ups and drops.

All of the arrangements, beginning with the airport meet and greet and moving on to the vehicles, cruise, and hospitality, were excellent. In the future, we hope to take trip again.
