A journey by train.

Journey is always fascinating. It charms our mind and make us happy. Journey is a break in our monotonous everyday life. After a journey we feel relaxed and fresh. Peace fills our heart after we have made a really wonderful journey.

I have recently made a journey by train with my friends. I received a letter from my uncle at Chattogram to attend the marriage ceremony of his daughter. I took some of my friends with me. Early in the morning I reached Kamalapur Railway Station where I found my other friends. The train came. We found seats in a carriage in the waiting train, saw our luggage put in, and then settled down for the journey. The guard blew his whistle and waved his green flag, the engine slowly began to move and we glided out of the station.

Everything that we were passing was pretty and so we amused ourselves by looking through the passed by green field, beautiful watery areas and wonderful hillocks. Everything seemed very windows. As the train winded away, eastwards, we could see a number of hills and mountains. We

bright and pleasant to us. From the train, we could see the clear, green waters and women and small boys and girls swimming happily and taking bath in the ponds and rivers.

At noon we took our lunch in the train. The dishes were not so bad. We took a lot. The journey was highly enjoyable. Some of my friends started to sing. Other passengers were also enjoying our childish attitudes. Some were enjoying the scenery of the way. Some people were also sleeping  or reading books. After all, all of us were enjoying the time in our own ways.

At last at 4 pm we reached Chattogram. The road was really wonderful. The journey seemed to me like a dream. However, when we reached Chattogram, we found my uncle waiting for us. He welcomed us and took to his residence. Thus our wonderful journey ended very beautifully.

It was really an exciting journey that filled my heart with thrill and excitement. I could never forget it  in my whole life. Whenever I recollect the memories of that day, I feel something extraordinarily wonderful is going to happen in my heart which I am unable to explain. I can only feel it and enjoy it.

A Journey by Train/ A Train Journey I've Recently Enjoyed

A few days ago I made a journey by train from Dhaka to Chittagong. My destination was the residence of my uncle who lives in Chittagong now. On the occasion of my cousin's wedding ceremony I was invited with my parents to attend the wedding party. In this way an opportunity of train journey came to me.

On the fixed day we reached the Kamalapur Railway Station. Purchasing three tickets for Chittagong we got into the train. The bell rang and the guard blew his whistle and waved his green flag. With little jerk the train started to move on. At first the train moved on slowly. The speed of the train gradually increased. The station remained behind left. I looked outside through the window. We enjoyed beautiful green fields, orchard and trees on the both sides. We saw the farmers working in the field and cattle grazing here and there. In the meantime we entered Chittagong District and started enjoying the hills there. On the right the vast sheet of the water of the Bay-of-Bengal raised a sudden tremor in all the body of mine. I became thrilled. Gradually the sun was going to the western sky.

It was evening when we reached the Chittagong Station. My uncle was eagerly waiting for us at the station. We safely reached my uncle's residence.

It is the only train journey in my life till today. So that, the first as well as the recent train journey has overwhelmed me much. I have learnt many things from it. Because this journey was a new experience to me. I can not help recalling this journey often as the sweet memory of this journey has filled me with eternal joy.

A journey by train composition in 150 words for class 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Composition on a journey by train.

I have travelled by train many times. But these were short Journeys. One day, my father told us that he is going to Dhaka on a business trip. He decided to take the whole family with him. We were thrilled to hear this good news. We packed our luggage and went to Chittagong Railway Station by train, as our real journey was to start from there. At Chittagong Railway Station, we boarded the Sonar Bangla Express for Dhaka. We travelled in a second class AC compartment.

The journey was very comfortable. We passed through many states. I looked out during the day and enjoyed the scenery all along. We saw cattle grazing, people working in the fields, beautiful flower Gardens and orchards of fruit trees. Our train made very few halts. Meals was served at regular interval. We enjoyed the delicious food.

The scenery along the Chittagong Hill tract was really very beautiful. Our train passed through many tunnels. At last we reached our destination. We can never forget our journey.

Before you write a journey by train paragraph, you can check the samples provided below for your reference and get a better idea about the same.

A long journey by train is just an exciting experience. At times, it can be tiring, but we get a lot of pleasure. I remember when I was in Class 8th, I went to Bangalore with my whole family to spend the summer vacation. Flight journeys might take only a few hours, and train journeys are time-consuming, but I love to travel by train with them. We see a lot of vendors coming in to sell tea, ice cream, biscuits, peanuts, etc. Those are the most exciting parts of a train journey when we buy food and share it with everyone. We meet a lot of new people around us and spend some time with them.

A train journey is the most precious thing for me. It is even more exciting when I am travelling with my friends and family. I remember when I was travelling to Mumbai with my whole family for my cousin’s marriage. It was a great experience for me because it was the second time when I was travelling out of my hometown. It was beautiful to watch people crossing the train, which looked like a train and bike competition, and some kids waved their hands to say goodbye. Compared to a flight journey, sitting on the window seat and enjoying nature is so precious. It is even more beautiful to watch the sunset between the hills while enjoying the evening tea. Every time a tea vendor crossed, my mother would call him and buy us some snacks. Even if you are on a diet, it becomes hard for you to restrict yourself to rush to the food stall in every station. If you are bored, you can read a newspaper or a magazine, a story book, etc.

Train journey is the most exciting and most enjoyable experience of my life. I remember when I was travelling to Bangalore with my friends. My friends were the add ons to my excitement. We were seven friends travelling together and we enjoyed the most in those 24 hours. We were the attraction of all the passengers around us as we engaged them all with different games, music, and dance. We bought food and shared it with them. The beauty of nature can be enjoyed while travelling by train and it is more exciting when you are with your friends or family. When the train stops, we would rush to a food stall and eat different foods of our choice and they gave us immense satisfaction. When the vendors cross by us shouting and repeating all the foods, we would just look at each other and order the food without even a second thought. We would have eaten tummy full but still order the food just to satisfy our cravings. After we reached there, my friend’s family waited for us and treated us really well. But we were not so satisfied with those hours. We shared the contact numbers of our fellow passengers and are still in contact with them.

I have travelled many times with my family. I have travelled by flight, by train, etc. But the most exciting one was when I was travelling to Mumbai with my family. The plan to visit Mumbai was made just to have a great time by train. There was no specific reason to travel or visit Mumbai but the train journey is so fascinating for us that we decided to travel by train. We just spent three days in Mumbai and had a great time shopping but we spent 5 days travelling by train. A train journey can never be compared with any other journey or any other excitement. Travelling by flight would just take a few hours and it is the fastest means to travel and saves a lot of time. But at times, we just miss our train journeys, we miss the continuous calls of the stall vendors shouting biryani, chai… garam chai…, bread omelette, etc. When we miss the train journeys, this chorus would just bounce in our ears. The train would pass through the villages, forests, seas, rivers, etc. This makes the train journey so exciting because we meet nature closely.

While travelling from one place to the other by train, we get in contact with different people. We make new friends, the children enjoy the most, and there are a lot of memories. It is so hard to control our cravings while travelling by train. We would rush to a food stall and buy any food, and parents would not even stop us.

One the fixed  day we reached Kamlapur station at 7 a.m. The station was very crowded . With difficulty we bought our tickets. Then we got into the train. I got my seat beside the window. After a few minutes the train began to move on. At first the train moved on slowly. Then it began to run in full speed.

I kept looking outsid e  through the window. The train was passing through the green fields. Trees and houses seemed  to run behind. We saw the farmers working in the field. Cattle were grazing  here and there. I enjoyed the scenes  with cheerful mind . Then the train stopped at a big station. We bought boiled eggs, bananas, magazines etc. We saw the hills  of Chittagong. All these pleased me very much.

The compartment a lso offered me a wonderful  scene. I saw some passengers were talking on many subjects. Some were reading books, some were telling jokes and laughing . Two beggars were asking passengers for help them.

At last the train rea ched Chittagong at 5 p.m. We got down  from the train and saw my friend at the station. He came to receive us. He became very pleased to see us. Then we went with him by rickshaw.

It was the most p leasant journey in my life. I enjoyed the journey so much that the memory of the journey will remain ever fresh  in my mind .

A Journey By Train Short Composition for JSC SSC HSC

A Journey By Train Short Composition for JSC SSC HSC

Write a short composition on a journey by train you have recently enjoyed  A Train Journey I've Recently Made  A couple of days ago I went via train from New York to Florida. My destination was my elder brother's house, which currently resides in Florida. At my nephew's birthday function I was welcome to join the wedding party with my family. Subsequently, the chance of a train journey came to me.  On the fixed day we arrived at Grand Central Terminal route station. We got on the train after purchasing three tickets for Florida. The ringer rang and the gatekeeper blew his whistle and waved the green banner gently and the train began moving. Right away, the train moved gradually. The speed of the train continuously expanded. The station is on the back left. I looked out the window. Enjoyed the beautiful green fields, gardens, and trees on the two sides. We saw farmers working in the fields and eating cows to a great extent. In the meantime, we entered the Florida region and began enjoying the slopes-hills there. The vast span of the North Atlantic Ocean on the right abruptly shook my entire body. I was excited. The sun gradually moved into the western sky.  It was evening when we arrived at Florida station. My brother was enthusiastically waiting for us at the station. We arrived at my uncle's home securely.  This is the main train venture in my life to date. Thus, the first and latest train journey intrigued me a great deal. Learned some significant experiences from it. Since this visit was another experience for me. I can't resist the urge to review this journey over and over as the sweet recollections of this journey fill me with limitless joy. A Journey By Train Composition Writing For SSC HSC Student

The journey is always a pleasure for me. Whenever I go on a journey, my heart leaps up with joy. But my greatest pleasure is in a journey by train.

A journey by plane is costly. A journey by bus is risky and uncomfortable. But a journey by train is pleasant, safe, and comfortable.

In the last autumn vacation I got sufficient time. So I made up my mind to make a journey by train from Khulna to Rajsbaht. I reached the station about half an hour before the departure of the train. It was then a very busy time. Rickshaws, motor cars, and other vehicles were coming to the station with passengers. Coolies were running behind them. There were the shouts and rush of the passengers and the coolies. After some time hearing a whistle, the passengers stood in a queue before the ticket counter. I also stood in line and bought a second-class ticket.

The right time came and the guard whistled and waved his flag. Everybody tried to get on the train first. After much difficulty, I got into a second-class compartment. The compartment was full to its capacity.

The train left the station. Gradually the speed of the train increased. I looked outside and found the beauty of nature. The train was running through green paddy fields. There were jute and sugarcane plants here and there. They were tossing their heads in the breeze.

The compartment presented a good scene. Some of the passengers were talking on various matters. Some were reading newspapers and magazines. Hawkers came up to us with their goods for sale.

The Train was a mail train. It touched only at the big stations. Passengers were getting down and again some were getting into the train. The hawires and the coulies were shouting. They were busy too. At last, the train reached the Rajshahi Station at 10 pm. I get down.

The journey in my heart I bore it gave them much pleasure. Indeed it was one of the most memorable days of my life.

Watching villages, cultures, and houses pass by as you speed across the countryside has always piqued my curiosity for better. It’s truly fascinating how a train journey can enhance your knowledge about cultures, regions, languages, and cuisines. The journey is like reading a captivating book that has all the ingredients to keep you entertained until you reach your destination.

One significant advantage of a journey by train is that it provides an excellent opportunity to interact with people from completely different ethnicities and linguistic backgrounds. The diversity of passengers on a train is like a Railway Journey Narrative in itself, where you can learn from the stories and experiences of your fellow travelers.

Train journeys are both exciting and memorable. My first train journey was when I was in the 2nd standard, traveling to my aunt’s wedding in Dehradun. It was a night journey, and we boarded the train with eager anticipation. With family and relatives, the journey was filled with laughter, games, and delicious train food.

Short essay on ‘a journey by train’ – essay 1 (200 words).

Train journeys are super fun, especially when traveling by train with a group of friends. One of my most memorable journeys by train was my journey from Delhi to Jaipur. It was a school trip, and we were all really excited about it. We had numerous plans for the trip and were especially looking forward to having a great time on our way.

We all reached the railway station by 6 in the morning, and the train ride started within a few minutes. I occupied the window seat to see the view outside. The view of the green fields, muddy roads, and huts on the way was delightful. My best friend sat beside me, and we chatted as we looked outside.

Soon, it was time for breakfast. I loved the cutlets and bread served on the train. We also had hot tomato soup after having a plate of bread and cutlets. After breakfast, we all decided to play antakshari . Playing antakshari in large groups is always fun. Our teachers also joined us, thereby adding to the fun. We played antakshari for the rest of the journey, and before we even knew it, we had reached our destination. It was a great experience. The company of my friends made this train journey all the more gleeful.

Essay on ‘A Journey by Train to Shimla’ – Essay 3 (300 words)

Train journeys hold a unique charm, especially when they lead to enchanting destinations like Shimla. However, what makes the journey even more captivating is the special toy train that runs from Kalka to Shimla, winding through breathtaking landscapes. A trip to Shimla remains incomplete without experiencing this iconic train ride. Thus, we planned our Shimla trip well in advance and secured our tickets for this much-talked-about train journey.

Our Journey to Shimla by Toy Train

During last year’s autumn break, we embarked on a memorable journey to Shimla. We began our travel by bus to Kalka, the starting point of our adventure with the toy train. Initially, I expected it to be just another train journey, offering glimpses of mountains and valleys. However, it turned out to be an exhilarating and extraordinary experience. Throughout our journey, we found ourselves immersed in the lap of nature, not merely observing the mountains, valleys, and lush greenery, but feeling like an integral part of this natural wonder as the train gracefully traversed the mountains.

Spanning a duration of 5-6 hours, this journey was filled with thrills and excitement. The route featured a multitude of tunnels and bridges that added to the allure. There were more than 100 tunnels and approximately 800 bridges along the route. I remained glued to the window seat, relishing the splendid vistas outside. At one point, the train made a brief stop at a quaint station, affording us a brief ten-minute break to explore.

Throughout the journey, my parents and brother shared in my delight, finding it as enjoyable as I did. We chose the same train for our return journey, unwilling to miss out on a second opportunity to savor this captivating experience.

Undoubtedly, this train journey stands out as the most remarkable one in my life. My deep love for nature made this journey even more special. I sincerely hope for a chance to traverse this enchanting route once more, as it left an indelible mark on my heart.

Essay on ‘My First Train Journey’ – Essay4 (400 words)

My First Train Journey

My very first train journey was an unforgettable experience that I embarked on when I was in the 2nd standard. It was a special trip to attend my maternal aunt’s wedding in Dehradun. As soon as the news of the wedding spread, excitement and joy filled our home. My mother began planning her outfits, while my father organized our travel arrangements. We decided to travel by train, accompanied by a few relatives, marking my maiden voyage on a train.

Planning the Train Journey

Train journeys require meticulous planning for a smooth and enjoyable trip. My parents carefully studied the available trains on our route to select the most convenient option. We booked our tickets well in advance, packed our bags, and ensured that all necessary arrangements were in place for our journey.

The Journey Begins

Our train journey commenced as a night voyage. We arrived at the railway station on time, settled into our seats, and, within a few minutes, the train began its journey.

Fun on the Way

As we greeted our relatives and settled in for the long journey, there was an air of excitement. Many of us hadn’t seen each other in months, so there was plenty to catch up on. I sat with my cousins, and we eagerly planned to make the most of this train journey. They had brought along board games, and we engaged in an entertaining one.

After a few rounds of the game, it was time for dinner. The food served on the train was surprisingly delectable. Following dinner, I found a cozy spot by the window. Despite the darkness of the night, I enjoyed the rhythmic sounds of the moving train, a novel experience for me.

As everyone finished their meals, we decided to play antakshari . Our relatives enthusiastically joined in, and we sang songs and played antakshari for an hour before it was time to rest.

A Scenic Morning

The next morning, I awoke early and was greeted by a stunning view outside the window. The lush green fields, the rising sun, the distant hills, and the charming huts along the way — everything appeared exceptionally beautiful. This scenic morning view was the highlight of my train journey.

In hindsight, my first train journey was incredibly exciting and fascinating. I cherished every moment of it, and the delightful company of my cousins added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience.

Long Essay on Journey by Train

Essay on ‘a memorable journey by train’ – essay 4 (500 words).

Introduction

I have gone on many train journeys with my family as well as friends. Travelling by train is comfortable and enjoyable. I always prefer train journeys over road trips for the experience they offer. I have made great memories on these trips. While I have enjoyed all my train journeys, my train travel from Delhi to Goa is the closest to my heart.

Journey from Delhi to Goa

I went for a trip to Goa with my classmates when I was in seventh standard. The trip was planned by the school. After much persuasion, my parents agreed to send me on the trip. Most of my friends also got the consent from their parents. We planned to do a lot of fun things on the trip.

Besides, site-seeing and having fun with friends on the trip, I was also excited about the train journey. The train journey from Delhi to Goa was for around one and a half day. This was the longest journey I had ever gone on. I was really looking forward to it.

My parents dropped me to the station. They were a bit anxious as this was the first time I was travelling so far without them. My mother gave me last minute instructions and I nodded obediently as I eagerly awaited the train. We left from Delhi at around 5 in the evening. I sat by the window with one of my friends by my side.

Travelling with Friends

Travelling with friends is always fun. I had been to Jaipur, Nanital and Shimla with my friends. All these trips were planned by our school. We travelled by train on all these trips and had a lot of fun on the way but none of them involved so much travelling. Most of these were overnight journeys. But on our trip to Goa we spent one night and one and a half day in the train.

I kept sitting by the window for the first two-three hours of the journey. I loved the view outside. As it started getting dark, I joined my friends who were playing dumb charades. We kept playing this game until it was time for dinner. After having our dinner, we chatted until late night. We shared our experiences, narrated interesting stories and mimicked our teachers. It was all great fun. I slept comfortably at night and woke up late.

The breakfast was served almost immediately after I woke up. After having the breakfast, I went and stood by the train door which was half opened. The view outside was beautiful. I love nature and I can watch the trees, hills and the water bodies for hours. It soothes and pleases my senses and offers a delightful experience.

I kept standing there for a long time. One of my friends joined me there. We enjoyed the view and spoke about our love for travelling and nature. During the rest of the day, we played games, had food and chatted with each other. We reached Goa at around 11 at night.

This train journey was an awesome experience. I enjoyed it thoroughly and made several beautiful memories on the way.

Long Essay on ‘A Journey by Train’ – Essay 5 (600 words)

Train journeys are economical, comfortable and fascinating. It is a complete experience in itself. While travelling by train, I am not eager to reach the destination, I rather enjoy each moment of the journey. I have made many friends during my train journeys and had several new experiences.

Advantages of Journey by Train

Train journeys offer numerous advantages. Some of these advantages are shared below:

  • One of the main advantages of train journey is the comfort and convenience it offers. Unlike cars, buses and aeroplanes, you have the option to lie down and sleep while travelling by train. Overnight journey by train is thus much more convenient compared to that by car or bus. One can sleep comfortably through the night and wake up fresh.
  • There is no restriction on the luggage. One can carry as much luggage as he wants while travelling via train unlike the aeroplanes where a limit is set for the same.
  • Trains have washrooms that make long journeys more convenient.
  • One can study or work comfortably on a laptop during train journey. Thus, the time spent in travelling can be put to productive use.
  • Trains are quite economical as compared to cabs and aeroplanes. One can travel long distance at a nominal cost.

Disadvantages of Journey by Train

While train journeys offer a number of advantages, there are certain disadvantages attached to them too. Here is a look at these disadvantages:

  • One of the biggest disadvantages of travelling by train is that one needs to plan the trip and get the tickets booked days before the journey. This is quite unlike travelling by car or bus wherein one can plan the trip and get going even the next day.
  • Booking the ticket can be quite taxing. People who go to the railway station to book the tickets need to stand in the queue for hours. Booking train tickets online is also quite time consuming as the railway booking site sometimes get quite slow due to increased traffic.
  • Though the trains have washrooms and restrooms, these are not as clean and hygienic as they should be.
  • Trains often get delayed due to different reasons. This can be quite annoying and exhausting.
  • Compared to aeroplanes, travel time taken by trains is much higher. It is not a good option for those who need to reach somewhere urgently.

My Train Journey Experience

I have been on many train journeys since my childhood. I have gone to Mount Abu, Udaipur, Varanasi, Shimla, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Bombay and many other places with family, friends and relatives. I have travelled to most of these places by train. What I love most about train journeys is the view outside. I love to sit by the window and watch the natural surroundings that come by during the journey. I often take a novel along as I love reading while travelling.

Train journeys become all the more fun when we are travelling in groups. There are so many fun things to do on the way. We crack jokes, sing songs, play games and chit chat for hours during the journey. We also get a chance to meet new people. It feels great when we meet like-minded people on our way. It makes the trip quite enjoyable. There is so much to talk about and share. I have made quite a few friends during my train journeys.

Train journeys have their set of advantages and disadvantages. While planning ahead, booking tickets and strict train schedules can be a put off; comfortable travel and good utilization of time are some of the advantages it offers. I have been on several train journeys and I really look forward to them.

I love traveling and so my friends so. I have lots of friends in New Delhi. As a Mumbai person, I always wanted to visit the city of Delhi, but I was unlucky every time I planned and faced a problem. But this time, in my Diwali vacation, I planned and decided to visit Delhi. One of my Delhi friends were inviting me to spend the Diwali time in his place. So two of us finalized to visit Delhi.

According to our plan on the fixed day, we went to the Mumbai railway station and bought two tickets for Delhi. We had the experience of a long journey before. I have traveled over 30 hours at a time by train. Mumbai to Delhi is also a long journey. It takes almost 18 hours by train. So we were mentally prepared for the situation. After waiting for an hour at the railway station , we got our train. We found our seat and I sit on the window seat. But we exchanged the seat a couple of times during the whole journey. After leaving the urban area, we started to see the real natural beauty of India. I have never traveled before in this route, so everything was new to me. That’s why I enjoyed it a lot. My friend started reading a book. I also tried reading a book, but I didn’t concentrate, I just wanted to enjoy the beauty of outside.

The train journey is awesome because it gives you the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of real nature. On the train, I met with a Bengali guy named ‘Robin’. Now he is one of my best friends. So this is a way of making new friends too. After a long journey, finally, we reached Delhi station. My friend came to receive us. I texted our location. Then we hired a taxi to go to his home. That was an impressive experience for me. I would love to travel more and more in this route.

A Journey by Train: Essay (400 Words) For Class 9, 10

A journey is always fun and full of pleasure. I am a fun lover and love to travel across the country. A few weeks ago I experienced my first ever train journey in my life. Today I am going to share my all feelings and what I’ve seen in that train journey. In my summer vacation, I thought to visit a naturally beautiful place. One of my uncles is working as a tea estate manager in Shillong. It’s was a very long journey from Kolkata. Two of my friends joined me on this tour. They were asking me if I go anywhere, I should take them with me.

Finally, on the fixed date, we reach in the Kolkata railway station at 9 AM. We purchased three tickets for 11 AM train. Then we started to see the outside of the station. The station is really good and has been developed than before. The government is working really well. After waiting two and a half hours the train came and we find our seat within five minutes. The journey was so long and over 1000 KM and it took over a day. That’s why I told everyone to keep hard mentality. That’s was all of us first ever train journey, that’s why I thought it was going to be tough for us. But in reality, we enjoyed the whole time a lot.

The train started after a couple of minutes and left the urban area soon. I was watching outside and enjoying the real natural beauty. Everyone knows that Shillong is an amazing place, especially as a naturally beautiful place. When our train came near Shillong, we were amazed to see the beauty of that place. All of us were traveling there for the first time. We were speechless literally. We exchanged the seat a couple of times. I sit in the window seat for a couple of hours. It’s a good experience to sit in the window seat. If you sit there, you can enjoy so many beautiful things. So I suggest everyone to try getting a window seat in your first train journey.

Finally, after a long journey, we reached in Shillong. I will never forget the journey. It was absolutely amazing and awesome for me. We found our uncle waiting for us at the station because I informed him with a phone call. A journey by train is really fun and interesting. Everyone should try it.

A Journey by Train: Essay (500 Words) for College Students

The journey is always a pleasure, but the train journey is too much pleasure for me. I love the train journey a lot. I have traveled a lot with trains and found it’s really good for the body; it’s not boring at all. There is a minimum level of accident risk and high security for people. These are the top reasons that are why I love traveling on a train. Today I will share my last train journey experience with you. I was traveling from Sylhet to Chittagong, a long way.

My college got closed in the summer vacation and I decided to visit my sister’s home with two of my friends in Chittagong. Chittagong is a very beautiful beach and port city in Bangladesh. According to the plan, we hired a taxi and reach Sylhet railway station at 8 AM on a specific day. We bought three tickets for the next express train from Sylhet to Chittagong. We waited for about two hours on the platform for the train. We were lucky that we bought the ticket faster; otherwise, I found lots of people who had not got the ticket. They bought a standing ticket rather than a seat. The reason is that was a vacation and people were leaving cities to spend holidays with their family.

When the train came into the platform, it took almost ten minutes to find out seats. The seating plan was pretty much confusing. I took the window seat. Finally, the strain started with a whistle. I was really happy about it. We were gossiping about sports and current vacation planning. We were having a few plans for what to do in Chittagong. We planned to stay there for three days and enjoy the Patenga Beach and top spots in the city. We left the urban area within ten minutes and I was impressed to see the beauty outside.

Sylhet is a land of beauty and lots of tea gardens. If you visit the train, you can see the real beauty of this division. The government has set up the train route between a national park with huge natural resources and beauty. I just love to travel across this area with the train. After two hours of gossiping and talking. One of my friend’s sleep and one started reading a book. I was still watching the beauty outside. Then finally I was tired and thought to take a nap. I asked my friend to take care of our goods. I slept for about an hour.

Finally, after nine hours of a long journey, we reached in the Chittagong station. We hired a taxi and went to my sister’s home. This journey by train was really impressive for me. I will remember this day for a long time. I didn’t travel a lot with my friends that are why this journey was remarkable for me. I suggest everyone journey with a train and enjoy the real fun of traveling.

A Journey by Bus: Composition For SSC 2022

A Journey by Bus

It was the month of December. My annual examination was over. My parents decided to go to my uncle’s house at Jamalpur by bus. Hearing the news my heart danced with joy. It was 25th December 2015.We got into the bus at Mohakhali Bus Terminal on due time .

It was winter. The bus started at 6 am. I sat beside a window looking outside through it. The sun was rising with all its splendid beauty. Within an hour of leaving the urban areas, our bus began running at a high speed along the road with green fields on both sides. I gazed at the houses, trees and meadows through the window with a cheerful mind. Things came to my vision and vanished in the twinkling of an eye. Everything on either side seemed running swiftly to the opposite direction.

When the bus was running through the forest of Modhupur Ghar, the tall trees with green leaves overhead gave a nice view. I was really charmed at the green panoramic beauties of Nature. It filled my heart with great joy. The bus ran at a stretch without stopping for three hours. It then stopped at a place for a short-break. There was a resturant by the roadside. We got down from the bus and had light refreshment there.

After a few minutes the bus began its journey again crossing the green fields on both the sides of the road. This time we saw bare-bodied youngsters tending cattle and grown up people working in the field. Occasionally we saw village women and girls bathing and washing clothes in the ponds. At about 12 noon, we reached Jamalpur. Thus our journey came to an end.

The journey by bus was really a pleasant one. I can hardly forget the sweet memory of this journey. The scene of the journey peeps into my mind when I become tired of the monotonus urban life.
