Taylor Swift fans across Ireland are counting down the hours until tickets for her record-breaking Eras Tour go on sale.

The US superstar recently announced the European and UK leg of the show, which includes three dates in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on June 28, 29 and 30 next year.

With tickets expected to be like gold dust, Ticketmaster asked those interested in attending to pre-register and only a limited number of people received an access code for the sale. Click here for 11am presale, here for 1pm presale and here for 3pm presale.

Other Swifties in Ireland and the UK who bought the star’s Midnights album between August 29 and October 27, 2022 qualify for a special presale, which kicked off this week.

Monday saw the first batch of presale tickets go on sale for the Edinburgh and London shows, while those wanting to go to Liverpool had their chance on Tuesday and Cardiff fans will try their luck today.

This week also saw general sale tickets for some European shows go on sale, including Paris yesterday, where the sale had to be paused due to overwhelming demand .

Dublin presale tickets will finally go on sale att 11am Friday (HERE) , before the general sale kicks off next Thursday.

As the first lot of tickets went on sale, fans got a first look at ticket prices and seating plans.

Tickets for the UK shows range from a reasonable £57.65 to an eye-watering £661.40 for certain VIP passes. General admission standing costs £109.40 while seating tickets have a range of prices up to £182.50.

Meanwhile, tickets for the Paris show begin at €69.50, with the highest price listed as €827.40 for the top VIP pass. General admission standing costs €97 while seating tickets have a range of prices up to €168.50.

Based on Paris, here is the likely price of tickets for the Eras Tour in Dublin.

Meanwhile, seating plans have been confirmed for the UK shows in Edinburgh, Liverpool, London and Cardiff. The official Aviva Stadium Eras Tour layout is set to be published when presale tickets go on sale on Friday.

The Aviva Stadium has a capacity of 51,700, meaning Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium is the closest in size of all the UK venues, holding 54,000 fans.

Therefore, Anfield Stadium is likely to look similar to the Aviva Stadium, with the exception of the stage being placed on the opposite side. You can compare them below.

July 5 marked an important date for fans hoping to buy tickets to the Eras Tour.

All registrants were due to receive an email letting them know if they were selected for the on-sale or placed on the waitlist.

It's a tough wait for Taylor Swift fans in Ireland as general admission sales are now live.

Thousands of fans have flocked to Ticketmaster in an attempt to get tickets for the Eras Tour, with Taylor Swift scheduled to perform in Dublin's Aviva Stadium on June 28, 29, and 30, 2024.

Only fans who have registered for general sale and received an email from Ticketmaster with their link and unique code will be able to buy tickets today. Many fans will also need to be aware of a new rule the ticketing agent brought in this week, meaning the cardholder will have to be present and attend the event for other members of their party to be allowed in.

The first tickets for the June 28 show went on sale at 11am local time, followed by 1pm for the June 29 date. Swifties hoping to attend the final night on June 30 will be able to purchase tickets at 3pm.

Many fans have posted on social media to share their frustration at not being able to get tickets, with thousands joining the queue long before the sale begins and still missing out.

Dublin's Aviva Stadium can hold around 51,700 people for concerts and there will be a mixture of seating and standing for the Eras Tour.

It's safe to say there has been a high level of demand for all three nights of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

In order to get tickets, fans had to pre-register their interest last month, with 500,000 fans getting pre-registration codes to allow them to buy tickets.

However, many fans received emails telling them they had been added to a waitlist, and would be given the chance to buy surplus tickets left over after the general sale.

But first, there are some important things you should know ahead of time to make sure the process is as smooth as possible and to give you the best chance of getting your hands on those all-important tickets.

The Eras Tour international dates resumed on May 9 in Paris. The European tour will run until August 20 in London. UK prices are listed in pounds, and start times vary from city to city. Multiple shows have age restrictions for younger kids and specifics on seating and adult accompaniment. A few venues check that a ticketholder's ID matches the name on the tickets. US dates start in October and can be found under the following table.

Will The Tortured Poets Department be a part of the Eras Tour?

It's good news for fans of "The Tortured Poets Department," Swift's new album that dropped on April 19, 2024. Swift is incorporating several of the new tracks into the Eras Tour, as evidenced by the first shows of her European leg. "The Tortured Poets Department" songs currently featured on tour include "But Daddy I Love Him," "So High School," "Down Bad," "Fortnight," "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?," "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived," and "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart."

Since the Eras Tour is already pretty long, this means that Swift is also cutting down a few songs from past Eras that previously made the tour setlist. The songs that were removed from the setlist include "The Archer," "Long Live," "The 1," "The Last Great American Dynasty," "'Tis the Damn Season," and "Tolerate It."

Taylor Swift Fans Panic Over Ticket Issue

Taylor Swift fans in Portugal are in a panic after many said they haven't yet received their tickets to her upcoming Eras shows in the European country.

Swift, 34, is due to perform her record-breaking Eras tour on May 25 in Lisbon, with fans expecting to have received the tickets they'd bought on Friday.

However, many took to social media to complain they hadn't been sent anything after purchasing them from the site See Tickets.

A Swift social media fan account dedicated to the Eras tour addressed the issue on X, formerly Twitter .

"Swifties attending the portugal shows/portugese swifties, lots of you have flooded my dms letting me know that apparently you guys have not received the tickets for your shows even though they were supposed to be released last Friday," wrote @swifterastour.

"I'll help to email the organiser to see what's the delay and will post the reply they give here so don't worry too much I'm sure it will all be resolved before the show 🤍 ."

Newsweek contacted See Tickets by email for comment.

A Portuguese Swift fan account on X detailed the worry they and other Swifties— the name of her fan base— have gone through in recent days.

"Over the last few days we tried, once again, to contact them several times and in every possible way in order to understand when the tickets would actually become available in our See Tickets accounts and, once again, we did not receive any kind of response!" the post, in Portuguese and translated into English, read.

"We understand that in an event of this magnitude [there can] be changes to calendars [and] are expected, however, informing users of your services that something would happen one day and then changing it without any kind of explanation ends up generating a feeling of widespread panic that could be completely avoidable with more CLEAR and OPEN communication."

The post concluded: "We have already faced almost 11 months of uncertainty and doubts, the only thing we ask is that, at least, that the next 10 days could be more calm."

On Tuesday, See Tickets posted to its social media that the website for Swift tickets had reopened with many replying with complaints about not having received their tickets.

"If you could give us some kind of information about when the tickets will be available in the See Tickets accounts (as this did not happen on May 10/11) we would be extremely grateful!" replied @pttswift, "Clearer communication with your customers is essential!"

"SO WHEN WILL THEY BE AVAILABLE," added @cherrygolden.

And @susannicoleF wrote: "Where are the ticketsssssss."

It is not the first time Swifties have had drama with See Tickets in Portugal. In November, the company was accused of cancelling and refunding some people who it claimed had exceeded the maximum allowed number of four tickets per transaction.

But some who had their tickets canceled said they didn't buy more than four tickets.

"See Tickets canceled, out of the blue, four tickets that I had purchased in July this year, for the Taylor Swift concert. The excuse given was that 'we exceeded the ticket limit per person' when we didn't. Each access code for ticket sales had a limit of four tickets, which was what was purchased," wrote one person on a See Tickets online complaints platform, according to local media outlet NiT.

Fans who considered buying tickets to Indy shows saved money at the Eras Tour shows in Paris

American Swifties felt like they were somewhere else.

Taylor Swift is back on the road again on the Eras Tour, and she performed in Paris, France over the weekend. Several American Swifties were in attendance at the shows because they found it was more affordable to buy tickets to the Paris show — and book flights and hotels than to even buy one ticket to one of the remaining U.S. tour dates.

Taylor Swift in Indianapolis, or Paris?

While at the Eras Tour show in Paris, Stephanie Gottschalk of Wisconsin told USA Today that she was looking at taking her daughter to one of the Indianapolis concert dates, but it was actually cheaper to go to France.

"The tickets to go to Indianapolis, I checked, are like $5,000 a piece," Gottschalk told USA Today at the Eras Tour in Paris. "For us to fly here, stay in the hotel and buy the tickets was about $5,000. So half the price and we got to experience Europe. We got to see the Eiffel Tower."

Childish Gambino announces 'The New World Tour': See full list of dates

Childish Gambino, aka Donald Glover , has announced a world tour that will cover North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

The North American leg of the tour, called "The New World Tour," will feature 33 dates and will begin in Oklahoma City on Aug. 11. The final stop on the leg will be in Chicago on Oct. 3.

The European leg of the tour kicks off Oct. 31 in Lyon, France and ends Dec. 5 in Dublin, Ireland, and will feature 18 stops across the continent. The Australia and New Zealand portion kicks off on Jan. 28, 2025 and wraps up on Feb. 11, 2025.

Alongside the world tour, Gambino also surprised fans with the release of " Atavista ," a new version of his 2020 album " 3.15.20 ," which includes two new tracks, titled "Atavista" and "Human Sacrifice."

Taylor Swift fans are in for a treat as resale tickets for her upcoming Eras Tour are currently available for just €269 .

The pop sensation recently surprised fans with a double album release in collaboration with The Tortured Poets Department, adding to the excitement surrounding her tour.

The Eras Tour is set to hit Europe next month, with three nights scheduled at Dublin's Aviva Stadium on June 28, 29 and 30. When tickets initially went on sale last year, thousands of fans scrambled to secure their spot, leaving many disappointed.

However, all is not lost for those who missed out. Ticketmaster has officially activated the resale option for the Aviva Stadium concerts, reports the Irish Mirror . Although ticket transfers will only be available closer to the show dates, fans can keep an eye on Ticketmaster's official website for any available resale tickets.

For those who are desperate to attend the concert, ticket resale websites like Viagogo are also an option. The site is currently selling Eras Tour tickets for shows across the UK and Europe, with pairs of tickets available for as low as €269 each .

If you're open to travelling beyond the Emerald Isle, tickets are currently available for other venues. In addition to Dublin , the 34-year-old artist is set to perform in UK cities including Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff and London, as well as European locations such as Paris, Stockholm, Lisbon, Madrid, Lyon, Amsterdam, Zurich, Milan, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Munich, Warsaw and Vienna.

We've done a bit of online digging for tickets to some of these venues and found the most affordable ones in Madrid, Spain, priced at a reasonable €269 each (at the time of writing). Given that Dublin tickets were priced between €86 to €206, this seems like a decent deal.

Flights from Dublin to Madrid during the week of the concert start from just €68, according to Skyscanner . Please note that these prices were accurate at the time of writing and may fluctuate.

Many of the European venues are hosting multiple nights of the concert, so it might be worth exploring all the different options to find a seat that fits your budget. You can do so on Viagogo .

A spokesperson from Viagogo has previously highlighted that great bargains are up for grabs, with tickets to one of Taylor Swift's anticipated UK concerts selling for as low as £172. They addressed concerns about ticket resale platforms during an interaction with Express.co.uk, stating: "The European leg of Taylor Swift's Eras tour has been long anticipated. We've not seen anything like this since The Beatles and with tickets having only just gone on sale, demand is at its peak right now.

"Viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the freedom to buy and sell tickets to their favourite live events, safely and securely, backed by a guarantee. Sellers on our marketplace may list tickets at high values when demand is high, but prices can change and tend to reduce over time.

"We recommend Swifties wait for demand to settle and check regularly for a listing that meets their budget. Tickets for Taylor Swift's UK dates have already sold for as low as £172 on our platform. Also, tickets listed at eye-catchingly high levels rarely, if ever, sell."

Sites such as Viagogo and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that many event promoters say tickets should not be resold after initial purchase and will not be valid for admittance to gigs.

Fans attending live events with tickets acquired through resale websites are advised to double check the ticket terms and conditions at the point of sale - such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation - to ensure a smooth live event experience. Tickets could be voided if they were found to be bought second-hand. As a result, fans are buying at their own risk.

With that said, viagogo also commented: "viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the guarantee."
