After many successful years of operation in Germany with FCM Travel Solutions partner, the decision was made to establish a Flight Centre Travel Group owned equity business. Opening in December 2017 in Berlin, with a staff of 40, FCM not only has successfully migrated many of its clients across to FCTG but has been able to win and secure a great many new corporate customers with triple digital growth and shows positive signs of continuing this success.

After many successful years working in Germany with an FCM Travel Solutions partner the decision was made to establish an Flight Centre Travel Group owned equity business.

Flight Centre Travel Group’s presence in Hong Kong is through its large market corporate brand, FCM. 

FCTG entered the Hong Kong corporate travel market in 2002 through the acquisition of American International Travel Ltd, a leading Hong Kong travel management company which had operated for more than 40 years in the local market. Today, FCM Hong Kong is one of the most established travel management companies in the market.

Flight Centre Travel Group’s presence in Hong Kong is through its large market corporate brand, FCM.

Flight Centre Travel Group entered the Indian market in 2005 and currently has a strong corporate presence with its large market corporate travel brand FCM. Currently, FCM has 17 offices and supports 1000+ employees including a foreign exchange business.

Flight Centre Travel Group has three brands present in Ireland: FCM, Flight Centre Brand and Flight Centre Business Travel.  FCM Ireland was the first European acquisition in April 2014 and Flight Centre in August 2016, amounting to 46 staff across two brands in Ireland. The business has enjoyed positive sales growth and profits since acquisition and currently manages a number of flagship corporate clients.

FCTG entered the Japan market through our large market corporate brand FCM in 2021. FCM operates a single office in Tokyo through a joint venture with New Standards for Engagement (NSF-E), a subsidiary of Sony Group & NTT.

Flight Centre Travel Group entered the Mainland China market in 2004. Today, it operates its corporate brand, FCM, in the market. FCTG entered Mainland China’s corporate travel market through a 50% joint venture with China Comfort Travel, which at the time was one of the top five travel agency groups in the country. Today, FCTG has an ownership stake of 98.4% and has also set up several wholly owned operations in the local market. FCM China is now one of the most established travel management companies in the market. Currently, FCTG operates its corporate travel brand in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.

Flight Centre Travel Group entered the Mainland China market in 2004. Today, it operates its corporate brand, FCM, in the market.

Flight Centre Travel Group entered Malaysia in 2016 through the acquisition of Worldwide Aviation Sales Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian travel management company which had been operating since 1982.  FCTG also operates the FCM corporate brand in the local market.
