I've seen Rusko a few times live but the tour he's on right now with Zeds Dead was the most incredible show I've ever been to. He is hands down the best DJ on the planet. He played a lot of dubstep a lot of drum and bass and a lot of whatever and just crushed it!

Thus was an absolutely phenomenal show! The venue was very intimate and the sounds were through the roof in front of the stage. Always enjoy seeing Rusko's crazy dance moves, and the throwbacks were mixed in properly. Thank you for such an awesome show RUSKOOOO!!!

Back from cancer and throwing down like it was the 90's. Straight killing it! Best show of the year so far! Glad to see him back alive and well! Hoping for many more years with rusko at the front of dubstep again!

The spiritual successor to “FRACTALS” arrives on February 16th, 2024. Subtronics, the maestro of bass music, has once again embarked on a journey into the realm of unstable particles with the announcement of his highly-anticipated sophomore album, “TESSERACT.” Following the success of his debut album, “FRACTALS,” released just over two years ago, Subtronics is gearing up to unveil the next chapter in his musical odyssey. Scheduled to drop on Friday, February 16th, “TESSERACT” not only shares its name with the bass music superstar’s current tour but also promises to redefine the boundaries of his sonic universe. The year 2024 has already proven to be a whirlwind for Subtronics, who recently announced his fourth Red Rocks takeover, “Cyclops Rocks,” and unleashed his second collaboration with Rezz, titled “Black Ice.” Reflecting on “TESSERACT,” Subtronics expressed his vision for the album as a pivotal moment in his artistic evolution. “I hope [TESSERACT] leaves a long-lasting impact on the listener and the dance music community as a whole. It is truly something I can look back on in 30 years and still be proud of because I know that this is the sound I am truly passionate about, and I really gave it my everything. This album is my second child, more than two years in the making, and I poured everything I could into it.” In conjunction with the album, the team behind Cyclops Recordings has meticulously crafted a bespoke audiovisual experience, perfectly complementing the otherworldly essence of “TESSERACT.” Commenting on the album’s sonic landscape, Subtronics elaborated, “Sonically speaking, I believe this wholly represents my personality and sound as best as I can thus far, with the things I have learned over the years, in conjunction with what I have recently been inspired by. ‘TESSERACT’ is a proper sequel to my first album ‘FRACTALS,’ and in the same sense, I once again aimed to demonstrate my range in style, sound, and emotion. Some songs are meant for the dancefloor, some are meant for the car, and some are meant to serenade you to sleep. I am trying as best I can to create an immersive alternative reality with a magical yet sci-fi-esque world of energy and feeling across the entire spectrum.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Subtronics (@subtronics)

Australian cultivator of bass ShockOne shares the exciting news that his third studio album ‘Organism Algorithm’ will soon be dropping alongside the announcement of his forthcoming ‘Organism Algorithm’ Tour. The album, slated for release via Dark Machine Records on the 23rd February 2024, is set to be a defining moment for ShockOne whose breadth of musical ability and epic live shows have seen him go from a pioneer of the drum & bass scene in Australia and New Zealand to growing his audience right around the globe. Featuring releases ‘Follow Me’, ‘Thinking About’ with Lee Mvtthews, recent single ‘Higher Rush’ with Freaks & Geeks and more, ShockOne’s ability to craft everything from ethereal vocal numbers to nuanced rhythmic heaters is on full display throughout this suite of sweltering anthems. Available to pre-save here. Soon to be hitting the road around Australia and New Zealand, ShockOne will kick off his ‘Organism Algorithm’ Tour on the 21st of February in Wellington, followed by dates in Auckland and Christchurch before he heads to Adelaide, Sydney, Perth and more. Joining him on some dates around Australia will be UK legends Charlie Tee, AC-13 and Issy Cross, plus local drum & bass producer on the rise Don Darkoe. Backing straight up, ShockOne then heads to the UK, taking the stage with Pendulum on their huge arena tour. Since the inception of ShockOne, he has built a dedicated audience of fans that have seen him perform at world renowned festivals including Let It Roll, Drop That, Liquicity, Rampage Open Air, Snow Machine, Spilt Milk, and more recently at Snack Festival in Perth, as well as his own national Dark Machine Warehouse tours. With the drop of ‘Organism Algorithm’ ShockOne is set to have crowds heaving once more with his raw energy and explosive bass weapons. Speaking about the upcoming tour ShockOne says “Having been out of Australia on tour for most of last year, it feels great to kick off 2024 by announcing my new album and an Australian headline tour. The Organism Algorithm tour is a completely new set full of new album material and I can’t wait to get out there performing it.” Perth artist ShockOne, Karl Thomas, has cemented his position as a cornerstone of Australian dance music. Igniting his career with the drum and bass classic ‘Polygon’ taken from the debut ‘ShockOne EP’ released on Viper records, ShockOne has gone from strength to strength as he has honed and refined his sound. Off the success of his critically acclaimed debut album ‘Universus’ in 2013, Karl relocated to London touring the album extensively throughout Europe and the UK, all the while producing a string of singles and remixes for the likes of DJ Snake, Dillon Francis, NGHTMRE & What So Not, to name a few. Non-stop on the move, ShockOne soon shared his sophomore album ‘A Dark Machine’ which saw significant streaming success, all before launching his own record label Dark Machine Records  home to many of his own expertly crafted creations as well as a roster of forward thinking bass music artists. Now with the release of his third studio album ‘Organism Algorithm’, ShockOne continues to push the boundaries of bass. ‘Organism Algorithm’ Tracklist: 1. ShockOne – Alone 2. rezz-its-not-a-phase-ep-feature-oz-edm

REZZ Unveils ‘IT’S NOT A PHASE’ EP, Showcasing a Captivating Blend of Goth-Inspired Rocktronic Sounds. Renowned Canadian producer REZZ has unleashed her latest musical project, ‘IT’S NOT A PHASE’ EP, a mesmerizing exploration of goth-inspired rocktronic compositions that pay homage to her early musical influences. Released under her own label HypnoVizion, the EP ventures beyond the confines of mid-tempo bass music, featuring collaborations with rock and alternative heavyweights such as Silverstein, Grabbitz, Tim Henson of Polyphia, and Johnny Goth. The focus track of the EP, “Dreamstate,” transports listeners to the realm of massive emo hits from the 2000s, infused with a strikingly modern and heavy bassline that only REZZ could conceive. This project signifies the evolution of REZZ as she confidently steps into her “goth era,” pushing creative boundaries and expanding her sonic palette. Reflecting on the inspiration behind ‘IT’S NOT A PHASE,’ REZZ shares, “With this goth EP, I’ve really encapsulated some of my early inspiration musically before I even got into dance music. I grew up listening to bands exclusively, and over time developed an understanding of what it was about those songs that I loved. Lots of use of guitar, eerie melodies, and distorted basses – this is a blend between sounds I’m known for while also expanding on my range with using new vocal styles & instruments.” Having garnered tremendous success throughout her career, REZZ has amassed tens of millions of streams to date and achieved sold-out performances at legendary venues worldwide. She has headlined renowned festivals including Coachella, Austin City Limits, EDC, Electric Forest, Creamfields, Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, and more. Notably, her collaboration with Grabbitz, “Someone Else,” released via RCA Records in 2020, amassed over 50 million streams, reached #15 on the Alternative Radio Chart in the US, and secured the #1 position in Canada. REZZ’s remarkable live performances have enthralled audiences worldwide, with her five consecutive sold-out shows at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre, including two nights scheduled for August 2023. With over 300 performances to her name, REZZ has consistently sold out venues ranging from 3,500 to 10,000 capacity, while also captivating festival crowds of over 50,000 attendees. The ‘IT’S NOT A PHASE’ EP follows the success of previous releases including ‘Blue In The Face,’ ‘Signals,’ and the recent single ‘Embers.’ Through this latest offering, REZZ continues to cement her position as an innovative and genre-defying artist.

Expert Picks: PGA Championship

Expert Picks

Change Text Size

How it works: Each week, our experts from PGATOUR.COM will make their selections in PGA TOUR Fantasy Golf. Each lineup consists of four starters and two bench players that can be rotated after each round. Adding to the challenge is that every golfer can be used only three times per each of four Segments.

Aside from the experts below, Golfbet Insider Rob Bolton breaks down the field at the PGA Championship in this week's edition of Power Rankings .

Betting picks

WILL GRAY (Lead, Fantasy & Betting)

  • Winner: Collin Morikawa (+2800) – I’ve been bullish on Morikawa for a few weeks now, and I’m sticking to my guns. The 2020 PGA champ is showing signs of promise once again after reuniting with longtime swing coach Rick Sessinghaus. Not afraid of the stage or moment.
  • Top 10: Denny McCarthy (+900) – McCarthy has quietly been playing well this year, highlighted by a playoff loss at the Valero Texas Open and T6 finish last week at Quail Hollow. I also love his form on burly layouts like Muirfield Village (playoff loss last year) which should be a good course comp to Valhalla.
  • Longshot: Sepp Straka (+9000) – The big Austrian was a runner-up last year at The Open and finished T7 at last year’s PGA. He’s strong off the tee and has finished T16 or better in each of his last four starts, including T8 last week.
  • Head-to-Head (H2H): Rory McIlroy (+135) over Scottie Scheffler – Hi, my name is Will and I’m fading Scheffler in a major. Please send help.

BEN EVERILL (Senior writer, Fantasy & Betting)

  • Winner: Rory McIlroy (+750) – I feel like I’ve been swept up on a bandwagon but Sunday forced my hand. For the last month I was setting up to pick Xander Schauffele here but he went and got obliterated by Rory at Quail and I fear that one will leave scars. A decade of woe ends here.
  • Top 10: Jason Day (+400) – You could take many other more conservative picks here that should pay but I’m going to back my mate at slightly juicier odds in the major he’s won while he is peaking at the right time.
  • Longshots: Jason Day (+5500) – See above. Jason has the length, the short (and shirt) game and the course history … let’s just hope his approach game is dialed in.
  • H2H: Rory McIlroy (+135) over Scottie Scheffler – Please send all trolling comments about me fading Scheffler again via Golfbet colleague Matty DelVecchio. He will enjoy it. But I’ve been a new dad before… your mind can’t help but be elsewhere at times. And McIlroy is +135!

CHRIS BREECE (Senior content manager, Golfbet)

  • Winner: Ludvig Åberg (+1800) – Everyone is waiting for his big breakout moment. If not for Scheffler, it would have happened at the Masters. On a course where driving the ball long and straight is the biggest key, Åberg has a serious chance to shine. He’s third in Total Driving.
  • Top 10: Collin Morikawa (+250) – I’m taking my same pick from last week ... and it looked good until the last three holes. Morikawa was in legit contention for two days at Quail Hollow. Ball-striking is paramount this week.
  • Longshot: Will Zalatoris (+6600) – I’m taking the same approach from the Masters when I picked Homa as a longshot (T3 finish). At +5000 and above, who has more talent than Zalatoris?
  • H2H: Shane Lowry (+105) over Russell Henley – Lowry’s last five PGA Championships have included finishes of T4/T8/T12. He tends to be at his best at the toughest courses.

MATT DELVECCHIO (Social content manager, Fantasy & Betting)

  • Winner: Ludvig Åberg (+1800) – The hype becomes a reality this week where Åberg will break through and win his first major in only his second start. His game fits the course well and he showed a lot of calm down the stretch at Augusta National. I trust he’ll do the same this week, but this time take home the hardware.
  • Top 10: Brook Koepka (+150) – Mr. Wanamaker himself is ready to make a run again this year.
  • Longshot: Hideki Matsuyama (+5500) – Long approach shots being at a premium seems like a good situation for Matsuyama. If he can get the ball rolling on these green, we will see him late on Sunday.
  • H2H: Max Homa over Tommy Fleetwood (-110) – Homa has been in great form as of late and seems poised for another run at a major.

Taylor Swift is about to go back on tour: Here's what to expect on the Eras Tour in Paris

rusko tour 2023

After a two-month break, Taylor Swift is revitalizing her titanic Eras Tour in Paris, and fans believe there are changes coming to the show.

If you are wondering where she's playing, if there will be changes and how to score tickets, here's everything we know.

And if you're new to the Eras Tour party, you can get caught up on the first 83 shows here .

When does the Eras Tour start again?

Swift kicks off the European leg of her tour on Thursday, May 9, in Paris. She will perform Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, as well, in the City of Light.

Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle.

What are Taylor Swift's tour dates in Europe?

There are 69 shows left in the Eras Tour: 51 in Europe, nine in America and nine in Canada.

The European leg stretches from May all the way through a five-night stand at Wembley Stadium in London in mid-August.

See a complete list of international dates here .

After she wraps up in Europe, Swift will stop in Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis before wrapping up in Canada.

See the remaining U.S. dates here .

What is the Eras Tour set list?

The Eras Tour has featured a massive 45-song set list you can check out here . But speculation is swirling it won't look the same when Swift takes the stage in Paris.

Will Taylor Swift add 'The Tortured Poets Department' to her set list?

The tortured poet has been on hiatus keeping her stamina up by releasing a double album of 31 tracks. The 2-hours-and-2-minutes project broke a number of Billboard records as the superstar did zero press to promote it. Fans flocked to stores and streaming services to listen to all the songs from "Fortnight" to "The Manuscript."

Although the singer has not confirmed whether her 11th era album will be added to her Eras Tour set list, she did post a YouTube shorts video with two scenes that sent Easter egg decoders into a frenzy. In one of the shots, the singer is next to a railing where a "TTPD" logo appears to be (at 0:11). In the succeeding shot, her back-up dancers perform holding canes and wearing top hats, something they have not worn previously.

Swift's dancers and bandmates posted to their Instagram stories as they left for France last week. The singer did not appear at two media events with her boyfriend Travis Kelce: the Kentucky Derby and a Formula 1 race in Miami , Florida. Patrick Mahomes, Kelce's friend and Kansas City's quarterback, attended the car racing spectacular with his wife, Brittany.

Can I still get Eras Tour tickets?

Swift's show is completely sold out in Europe and North America. There are resale sites with tickets, but be wary of scams. The best way to avoid getting swindled is continuously checking links on Swift's website . There are some for resale on the sites verified by her camp.

Singapore was a hotbed for fans who traveled thousands of miles only to get turned away at the venue. In Tokyo and Australia, last-minute ticket drops happened a few days — without announcement — ahead of the shows.

Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis — the three U.S. cities Swift is visiting in the fall — have some of the heftiest price tags with Canada closely behind. In may be cheaper to travel to Warsaw, Poland, or Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Here's a list of cities with the cheapest resale tickets, according to travel website  Islands.com .

10. Vienna, Austria — total average cost: $1,089, safety score: 69.72

9. Cardiff, U.K. — total average cost: $1,061, safety score: 61.83

8. Lyon, France — total average cost: $1,047, safety score: 44.3

7. Lisbon, Portugal — total average cost: $1,028, safety score: 70.15

6. Munich, Germany — total average cost: $1,000, safety score: 78.88

5. Paris, France — total average cost: $971, safety score: 41.83

4. Stockholm, Sweden — total average cost: $935, safety score: 53.86

3. Hamburg, Germany — total average cost: $903, safety score: 57.51

2. Gelsenkirchen, Germany — total average cost: $749, safety score: 51.33

Who are the opening acts?

Paramore launched the Eras Tour in Glendale, Arizona, in March 2023, so it's fitting the American rock band is opening the tour's second year. The act will open for Swift for 51 shows across Europe . The band was dubbed the 2024 Record Store Day global ambassador and surprised fans in Nashville the weekend following the release of "The Tortured Poets Department."

When the tour comes back to North America in October , Swift's opening act will be Gracie Abrams.

Where can I watch if I don't have tickets?

The Eras Tour is one of the first tours that has been followed, globally, by thousands of fans on digital platforms. Fans dedicate part of their concert experience to livestreaming as Swift performs. A few Swifties have learned how to host their own shows over social media including Tess Bohne , known as the livestream queen. Bohne goes live for (almost) every show pulling streams from Instagram and TikTok. When a livestream goes down, she fills the time with banter.

On YouTube, user @TaylorSwiftHockeyBro also livestreams the three-hour show, and on Twitch, @folkleric , is a host fans follow.

There is also an app, Swift Alert , that notifies fans who only want to watch certain eras like the acoustic, surprise set. The app sends out push alerts if there are any major announcements.

What secret songs are left?

For the past 83 shows, Swift has played an acoustic set she customizes at each stop with a guitar and piano performance. In 2024, the Eras Tour star added mashups of her songs for each stop. Here are the songs she has yet to perform:

  • "Taylor Swift" (debut album): "Mary's Song" and "A Perfectly Good Heart"
  • "Fearless": "The Way I Loved You," "Change," "Superstar," "We Were Happy," "That's When," "Don't You" and "Bye Bye Baby"
  • "Red": "Girl At Home," "Ronan," "Forever Winter" and "Run"
  • "1989": "Sweeter Than Fiction"
  • "Reputation": "I Did Something Bad"
  • "Lover": "London Boy," "Soon You'll Get Better" and "It's Nice to Have a Friend"
  • "Folklore": "Hoax"
  • "Evermore": "Happiness" and "Closure"
  • "Midnights": "Paris" and "Glitch"
  • "The Tortured Poets Department": all 31 tracks

Will Taylor Swift perform in 2025?

There have been many rumors that Swift will continue her show in 2025, but they are only rumors. Nothing has been announced for next year, and as of now, the tour will end in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Dec. 8.

Virginia Baseball Run-Rules Virginia Tech 13-3 to Clinch Series Win

Matt newton | may 17, 2024.

The Virginia baseball team celebrates with the Commonwealth Clash sign after defeating Virginia Tech 13-3 at Disharoon Park.

The last point of the 2023-2024 Commonwealth Clash goes to Virginia. The Cavaliers had already wrapped up this year's version of the Clash in a landslide, but UVA baseball put the finishing touches on a dominant athletic year in the in-state rivalry by clinching the weekend series in convincing fashion. After homering three times in Thursday's 7-3 series-opening win over the Hokies , the Cavaliers doubled that number on Friday, hitting six home runs as No. 18 Virginia (39-14, 17-12 ACC) overpowered Virginia Tech (32-19, 14-15 ACC) for a 13-3 run-rule victory in seven innings on Friday afternoon at Disharoon Park.

Virginia Tech drew first blood, as UVA starter Joe Savino gave up two singles and then an RBI double to Gehrig Ebel in the top of the first inning. Virginia went down in order in the bottom of the first, but then evened things up in the second as Harrison Didawick hit his second home run in as many games and 21st of the season.

Savino bounced back after the early blemish to work easily through the second and third. UVA took its first lead of the day in the bottom of the third, an inning that started with Bobby Whalen and Griff O'Ferrall hitting back-to-back singles. An Ethan Anderson groundout scored Whalen, a Henry Ford single scored O'Ferrall, and then two more singles from Jacob Ference and Didawick brought home Ford to make it 4-1 Virginia.

Savino issued a pair of walks to start the fourth, but used a double-play to help himself out of the jam. The UVA bats opened things up in the fourth with three home runs in a single frame. Eric Becker hit a leadoff solo shot for his second home run of the series.

Whalen drew a walk and O'Ferrall singled and then Anderson scored them both with a three-run blast into the bullpen in right field.

Casey Saucke followed that up with another home run, UVA's fourth of the game and the team's 100th home run of the season. For context, the 2023 Virginia baseball team set a new program record with 83 home runs last season, breaking the previous record of 75 homers set by the 2022 Cavaliers.

After another perfect inning from Savino in the top of the fifth, Virginia scored two more runs in the bottom half. How were those runs scored? You guessed it, another home run, the second of the day for Ethan Anderson to make it 11-1.

The Hokies temporarily got themselves out of run-rule territory with a two-run single from Jake Slade off of Blake Barker in the top of the sixth. UVA corrected that quickly in the bottom of the sixth, getting a sixth home run from Henry Godbout, a two-run blast to make it 13-3.

Ryan Osinski faced the minimum in the top of the seventh, issuing a walk but then inducing a 1-6-3 double-play and a fly-out to trigger the run-rule and secure Virginia's 13-3 victory.

Joe Savino earned the win with an excellent start on the mound, allowing just two earned runs on four hits in five innings of work. Ethan Anderson led the way offensively for the Cavaliers, going 2 for 4 with two home runs and six RBI. Nine different Cavaliers recorded a hit in the game and five had multi-hit games.

With UVA picking up the series-clinching win, the 2023-2024 Commonwealth Clash has concluded with Virginia beating Virginia Tech 15-7 in the year-long all-sports rivalry challenge. See the other results of the 2023-2024 Commonwealth Clash here.

Virginia will take aim at the series sweep over Virginia Tech on Saturday at 5pm. The game will be televised on the ACC Network.
