About Thomas Rhett

Ten years after signing his record deal with Big Machine Label Group’s The Valory Music Co., arena-packing superstar Thomas Rhett — dubbed “the most reliable maker of No. 1 singles in country music”  (Variety)  — has 19 multi-PLATINUM and GOLD-certified No. 1 hits, 12 BILLION streams and the longest current active streak of consecutive No. 1s in the format (Mediabase/Country Aircheck Chart). Declared “a prince in the genre”  (USA Today) , he has been honored with eight ACM Awards including Entertainer of the Year, two CMA Awards, five GRAMMY nominations, plus trophies from the CMT Music Awards,  Billboard Awards and iHeartRadio Awards, in addition to being recognized with two CMA Triple Play awards for penning three No. One songs within a 12-month period. The superstar’s critically-acclaimed sixth studio album WHERE WE STARTED is available now, with single “Half of Me,” featuring Riley Green, currently Top 5 at Country radio. Thomas Rhett has also just released his first-ever Christmas collection MERRY CHRISTMAS Y’ALL, featuring his rich vocal and sincere delivery, with a country flair on four favorite festive tracks.  Inspired by family, friends and his love of the outdoors, Thomas Rhett is also the cofounder of Dos Primos Tequila and has collaborated with Chaco on an exclusive sandal line. He recently extended his BRING THE BAR TO YOU TOUR into 2023 with dates scheduled for the top of next year in Canada. For more information, visit  www.ThomasRhett.com .

About Cole Swindell

Multi-Platinum selling superstar Cole Swindell released his fifth studio album,  Stereotype , to massive success. The project has already charted three back-to-back multi-week No. 1 hits: the Gold-certified “Single Saturday Night,” the Platinum-certified “Never Say Never” (with Lainey Wilson) and, most recently, the Platinum-certified, five-week chart-topper “She Had Me At Heads Carolina.” In the seven years since his debut on Warner Music Nashville, Swindell has racked up an impressive 12 No. 1 singles as an artist – 13 as a songwriter – 11 certified Platinum singles (four singles at 2x Platinum), a Platinum-certified debut album ( Cole Swindell ) and a Gold-certified sophomore album ( You Should Be Here ). The Georgia hitmaker has over 5.2 BILLION global career streams. His massive, GRAMMY-nominated hit “Break Up In The End” was named the 2019  NSAI Song of the Year . Swindell is nominated for two CMA Awards for  Musical Event of the Year  and  Music Video of the Year  for “Never Say Never” with Lainey Wilson. He officially became a headliner on his own in 2018 with his  Reason To Drink  Tours, and is currently out on the road with   Ashley Cooke and Dylan Marlowe for his  Back Down To The Bar Tour .

About Nate Smith

With a mix of gritty backwoods soul, rock ‘n’ roll swagger and velvet-thunder vocals, Nate Smith first chased his neon dreams to Nashville in his early 20s – but it didn’t stick. The disheartened Smith returned home and thought he was “100-percent done” with his artistic journey…until a crucible of change burned away the past. In 2018, Smith lost everything he owned in the devastating Camp Fire which tore through Paradise, California. Although his family was safe, he struggled to cope and turned back to music, hoping that it would help comfort himself and others. Help it did, inspiring a month-long road trip across the U.S. to Music City, writing music and playing dive bars along the way. Soon after his arrival to Nashville, Nate released his biggest song to date, “Wildfire,” and landed a publishing deal with Sony ATV. Since then, he’s released new music including “Sleeve” and “Under My Skin,” which has amassed over 70 million on-demand streams to date. The singer was named a Spotify Hot Country Artist to Watch for 2021 – an accurate prediction as he rounded out the year with a record deal with Sony Music Nashville and is now making waves with his latest release, “Whiskey On You,” which is now Gold-certified and Top 15 and climbing at country radio.

As he often does, Rhett will touch both coasts. Fans can expect hits, plus songs from his upcoming studio album. As the tour draws to its close, he may treat the audience to new material from his second new album of 2022:  Country Again: Side B is expected in the fall.

Thomas Rhett, (born March 30th, 1990) is a country and western singer songwriter from Valdosta, Georgia. He is the song of Rhett Atkins and has five singles that charts from his debut album “It Goes Like This”.

It all started when Thomas Rhett Atkins Jr. was old enough to go on stage with his father, Rhett Atkins, and play the drums for him. The band was put together in high school called The High Heeled Flip Flops. After high school, Rhett went to college at Lipscomb University in Nashville Tennessee and played as a member of Tau Phi for their cowboy show. It was from this experience that he grew used to big crowds and commanding the audience.

Rhett co-wrote the song “I Ain’t Ready to Quit” on Jason Aldeans’ 2010 album, “My Kinda Party” and then signed a contract with Big Machine Records, Valory Music Group division in 2011. He released his debut single “Something to Do with My Hands” which was released on February 21st 2012, with a music video too. The song reached number 15 on the US Hot Country Songs. His follow up single “Beer With Jesus” was released on September 4th 2012, and reached number 1 on the US Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart. It wasn’t until his song “It Goes Like This” released on May 6th 2013, that Rhett got the success that he deserved, with the song going Platinum, and making it to number 1 on the US Country Airplay chart, it also became the title track of his debut album, which was released on October 29th 2013. The albums’ fourth single “Get Me Some of That” became Rhett’s second number 1 single.

Rhett has also co written the 2013 singles “1994” by Jason Aldean, “Parking Lot Party” by Lee Brice and “Round Here” by Florida Georgia Line.

Live reviews

What can be more American than listening to country music on the 4th of July? Nothing.

Thomas Rhett can turn anyone into a country fan by simply attending one of his concerts. At only 24 he has succeeded in having two hit songs, but while he's on stage you can see that he's just average guy enjoying the moment and having a good time. He utlizes the whole stage, and invites a few lucky souls to join him at certain points. He also loves to shake those hips of his, so be prepared to dance when you go to one of his concerts.

His songs are extemely catchy and easy to sing along with, so be prepared...the whole audience will be singing with him. Just when you think it couldn't get louder he will start singing some classic oldies that will make the venue erupt.

He makes the whole audience feel like they're at a neighborhood block party with a bunch of good friends, which is why his songs like "Front Porch Junkies" and "Sorry For Partying" are so entertaining to hear.

If you hate dancing, happiness, and being surrounded by friendly people who are enjoying life...Thomas Rhett is not for you. If you're the opposite then buy your tickets now. You won't regret it. You can tell a good artist when you leave the concert thinking that he or she was better in person than on his cd. He's album is great, but it's worth every penny plus some to see him in person. Thomas Rhett is a country singer that appeals to everyone because of fun, upbeat energy. Buy your tickets now, and see for yourself.

It could be said that country music is in Thomas Rhett's DNA, having been born to the established singer/songwriter Rhett Akins. The fresh faced youngster has very much made his own impact on the industry with his own slant on the genre and expert live show. Having always been interested in music, it is fair to say that Rhett has ability with his instrument that is far beyond his years.

Despite having only released one studio album, it scored well commercially so the fanbase is ready and waiting to see Thomas bring 'It Goes Like This' to life. There is great skill in the way he develops early songs to give a more involving live experience to the delighted masses. 'Make Me Wanna' has the whole audience singing along despite having only released it a few months ago, it has fast become a favourite. The singer thanks the crowd for their enthusiastic involvement and expresses his slight bemusement at his new found fame. Rounding the evening off with 'Something To Do With My Hands', the crowd stand as one to celebrate this new singer and assure him they will continue to support his career.

The Pit section was definitely the place to be! I have no clue how I got so lucky last night! Out of all the beautiful ladies around me.. He picked me to sang too! And came back two more times just to wink and touch my hand! Then his guitars came on and sat down next to me too! Definitely one of the best nights I ever have. Never thought this would ever happen to me! Crazy! Still in ahh! Sure made me feel like a million bucks! Thanks for creating a memory of a life time, Thomas Rhett! Love ur music! I went to the Thomas Rhett concert at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota on Wednesday November 29th 2017. Old Dominion and Walker Hayes were special guests to the show, they opened for him and were amazing. Old Dominion really got the crowd going! Thomas even said that he has never heard a crowd that loud! Thomas Rhett played an awesome show that will be UNFORGETTABLE, it was the best concert I have ever been to. Everyone knew all the songs and he was engaged with the crowd. He even took time to sign posters for the some of the fans. His band is awesome too!! I went with my mom and we had seats in row 9!! It was awesome!! By far the best concert yet!!

Thomas Rhett's show was amazing. From the opening song, "Crash and Burn," which set the tone of fantastic FX and heart twisting vocalizations, to his singing "Marry Me" on stage B to the impromptu Rhett Atkins songs he sang and his powerful closing with "T-shirt," the concert was one of the most memorable I will ever attend. My friend and I drove from Atlanta to be able to see him. The venue was fantastic and even solved our issue with visibility due to a faulty strobe light in section 207 of the Colonial Life Arena. The band was on fire and Thomas Rhett knows how to entertain a crowd and put on a show. I can't wait for the next one!!

So excited before the show. Love Thomas Rhett's music. The venue was a good size, even if the management were clueless about certain things (O2 priorities). Rhett Atkins (Thomas Rhett's dad) was supporting him and he was fantastic and could easily do a show on his own. Thomas was everything we had hoped for and more. The music was amazing, the lighting, backing musicians, fans. it was a great night and will definitely recommend his gigs to anyone and everyone. Counting down till he comes back to the UK again (hopefully in the very near future)

Saw Thomas Rhett at Jiffy Lube Live. Really liked his set up on stage. He interacted with the audience. Even signed some things for people while performing. He sang all the songs we want to hear. Make Me Wanna, It Goes Like This,Get Me Some if That, even his new one Crash and Burn.

He was wearing a suit and it was warm. I liked when he took off the suit jacket and had a summer print shirt underneath. I liked the casual look. He is definitely worth seeing.

Thanks for choosing Dallas to kick off Tangled up and best wishes for your continued success.

The show was great! Both opening acts were really good, especially Old Dominion. But the Thomas Rhett part of the show was the best! At one point Thomas Rhett came from the stage to a small platform back in the crowd. We happened to be right next to it and when he came there to sing a few songs, it was really cool. He sang all of his songs! It was a wonderful concert!

Thomas Rhett Is Back With A Brand New Tour!

Thomas Rhett Thomas Rhett

Why see Thomas Rhett?

Thomas rhett on tour.

Georgia-born country pop singer-songwriter Thomas Rhett is back on the road in 2024 for a brand new tour! With a total of five Grammy nominations throughout his career, his good-time energy, and charming stage presence, it's bound to be an unforgettable experience and a tour you don't want to miss. Don't miss Thomas Rhett as he comes to a stage near you!

Born to the legendary country singer Rhett Akins, Thomas actually started out in the entertainment biz by helping out at his father's concerts on the drums. Luckily for us, that wasn't quite enough to contain his musical talents, and he began writing songs for Big Machine after dropping out of college. One such song happened to be a little-known ditty "I Ain't Ready to Quit" by one Jason Aldean, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Rhett had a couple of co-songwriting successes with artists like Jason Aldean before he released his first single, “Something to Do with my Hands,” in 2012.

In the decade since that debut, Rhett has been recognized as one of the nation’s most popular country artists, and has been nominated for dozens of awards (he’s even won a few, such as the 2017 Academy of Country Music Awards for “Song of the Year”).

And wouldn’t you know, the singer is gearing up to release not one, but two new albums? Music Mayhem Magazine reports how Rhett intends to drop his sixth studio album, “Where We Started,” on April 1, giving fans a whole two months to let his new stuff sink in before his “Bring the Bar to You Tour” begins.

New album number two—”Country Again: Side B”—is set to be released some time in the fall.

“I think a lot of people have heard some of these songs with me playing teasers on social media,” tells Rhett to the press, according to Country Now. “And I’m so excited for people to see the track listing and be like, ‘Oh, I remember when he played that acoustic, I wonder what that’s gonna sounds like on the record?’”

Where we Started includes the two preview tracks “Angels” and “Church Boots” as well as the single “Slow Down Summer” and a duet with Katy Perry on the title track. Music and concerts | a decade after their farewell tour, brooks & dunn are back on the road, with a stop in allentown.

Country duo Brooks & Dunn appear Friday, June 28, 2024, at the PPL Center in Allentown. (April Gamiz/The Morning Call)

But this summer the duo is back together for their third straight summer tour and very much sounding like this Brooks & Dunn thing will be an ongoing venture for the foreseeable future. They’ll make a stop Friday at the PPL Center in Allentown.

And Kix Brooks credited the duo’s fan base for making Brooks & Dunn something he and Ronnie Dunn are excited to do again.

“It’s not just the folks that have been paying our rent for 30 years, but we’ve got a whole new bunch of fans that are bringing a lot of energy to the shows,” Brooks said in a mid-April phone interview. “That whole room is awake and it’s putting fire into me and Ronnie Dunn and now we walk out there it’s not like ‘Here we go again.’ It’s like this is going to be fun and that’s what as an entertainer you want to feel when you’re walking out on stage. And it doesn’t feel tired to me. Even though we played these songs so many times it just doesn’t feel tired. And there was a place where, even with new music out there, it was feeling tired to us. The redundance of just going out and doing it night after night was maybe wearing us down. But right now it’s really fun. It is, like Ronnie said the other night, this is about as much fun as we’ve ever had doing this.

“We’ve gotten to a place where we’re really comfortable on stage. We’re slinging it hard and it’s good,” he added. “I feel like we have a great band and Ronnie and I, I wish to hell I’d been singing this well there in the thick of our career. I was really learning how to sing on stage even though I’d sung in a million bars. I was just screaming my way through it. That doesn’t get it when you actually do hit the big time. And now I’ve kind of learned to breathe, learned to sing over time, and I go on stage with some confidence that at least I can do my part and do it well.”

Country duo Brooks & Dunn perform at The Great Allentown Fair on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019. (April Gamiz/The Morning Call)

Brooks & Dunn initially got coaxed back into action when they were offered an opportunity to do a residency in 2015 with Reba McEntire in Las Vegas. It was a familiar pairing, as Brook & Dunn had collaborated with McEntire on the 1998 hit ballad, “If You See Him/If You See Her,” and the subsequent tours they did together did big business. That popularity translated to the Vegas residency.

“We did 105 shows together, as you know, in Las Vegas,” Brooks said. “That was a real fun few years together and I think we all got to the point that we felt like well, we worked Vegas pretty hard and I think Ronnie and I during that time started talking about, you know, I wonder where we could tour? How much we’d want to…Ronnie and I just kind of rolled back into, you know, we ought to put another tour together. Let’s go do this.”

As Brooks & Dunn got back in the swing of performing, they were getting indications that their popularity had not waned in the dozen years since their most recent album, 2007’s “Cowboy Town.”

And that notion was confirmed with Brooks & Dunn made the 2019 album “Reboot,” a collection of 12 hits from across their career, re-recorded with a host of current rising stars from the country scene, including Luke Combs (on “Brand New Man,” which was the title track of Brooks & Dunn’s 1991 debut album and the duo’s first chart-topping single), Thomas Rhett (on “My Maria”), Kane Brown (on “Believe”) and Kacey Musgraves (on “Neon Moon”).

The project came about after Combs had posted a version of “Brand New Man” and Musgraves had covered “Neon Moon” and the duo had heard about a number of other newer artists who cited Brooks & Dunn as influences. The duo’s manager suggested seeing if some of the artists would want to collaborate on new recordings of some Brooks & Dunn hits.

“We threw a record together just not even trying,” Brooks said. “It was like it just came together so effortlessly and with a lot of joy in the studio. The whole thing was just, we walked away from that going man, that was fun.”

“Reboot” topped the “Billboard” magazine country album chart and set the stage for Brooks & Dunn’s return to nationwide touring.

A run of about 20 shows was planned for 2021, but the COVID pandemic forced that initial tour to be pushed back until the following year. A similar run of shows followed in summer 2023, and now Brooks & Dunn will play another two dozen dates before wrapping up the “Reboot 2024” tour in August.

During their initial run together, Brooks and Dunn helped transform the country concert experience, bringing the kind of elaborate stage sets and visual production that was already common in the rock world into their shows.

So it’s no surprise that this summer’s tour will boast its share of eye candy for fans.

“We have a giant, giant Tron and we’ve worked, well, really hard on content and whatever for that and I think it’s cool,” Brooks said. “It’s hard not to turn around during the show and catch some of that. But anyway, I think hopefully fans will be impressed by some of the visuals, and it’s always good to get the right thing that kind of kind of helps to rock the music along, too.”

But Brooks emphasized that fans come first and foremost to hear the music. And this was true even when Brooks & Dunn kept upping the ante during the 1990s and the 2000s on the visual side of their shows.

“Even back then, Ronnie and I, as much fun as we were having doing crazy stuff like that, we always questioned each other about what’s our legacy going to be?” he said. “Is all this nonsense going to ultimately take away from why we really came here and what we really care about, which always honestly was the music. But fortunately, I guess we have survived, at least at this point.”

Survived and then some. With more No. 1 hits than the duo can fit into a concert and a rocking country sound that provided a template for a host of country acts that have followed the duo onto the country scene, Brooks & Dunn’s place in country music’s history is secure. And the shows this summer figure to include a good number of the chart-topping hits, as well as some selections fans might not expect.

“It’s a pretty good mixed bag, but it’s not all just the obvious kind of, I guess, standards for us,” Brooks said. “We definitely do pull some deep cuts off of albums and things like that that people seem to still be singing the words to. So it’s fun.”

Thomas Rhett Announces 4-Night 'Mini-Residency' in Las Vegas: 'It's Going to Be a Blast'

"I'm already looking forward to making these shows unlike any we've ever done before," the country singer teased of his upcoming Vegas run

Thomas Rhett plans to give fans the full live experience for his upcoming Las Vegas run.

On Tuesday, June 25, the country star, 34, announced an “intimate” four-night “mini-residency” taking place at the BleauLive Theater inside Fontainebleau Las Vegas on Dec. 6, 7, 13 and 14.

According to the musician, the special set of shows, officially billed as Thomas Rhett: Live in Las Vegas, promises a one-of-a-kind experience for attendees, unlike anything he’s ever done.

“For me, having the chance to set up in Vegas for a string of shows is something I've been trying to find the right time to do for a while now,” the “ Beautiful as You ” performer said in a statement. “It gives us the chance to be back in smaller rooms — for almost a mini-residency — and really be right there to play off the fans and be sure every single one of them is on their feet each night.”

He added, “I’m already looking forward to making these shows unlike any we’ve ever done before. It’s going to be a blast."

Thomas Rhett’s residency news arrives a couple of weeks before his forthcoming album, About a Woman , out Aug. 23. Earlier this month, the dad of four girls — Willa Gray, 8, Ada James, 6, Lennon Love, 4 and Lillie Carolina, 2 — whom he shares with wife Lauren Akins , told Entertainment Tonight that his oldest daughter already heard the new upbeat LP and had a hilarious reaction to it.

"She said it slaps," the singer recalled. "I was like, 'Where did you hear that?' ... I guess slaps mean that it just has a good beat. I really don't know, but I received it."

The proud dad boasted that his upcoming project — his seventh studio album — has "slappers, bangers only,” adding that it was partially inspired by his kids.

"I started this record last April with the mission of making my kids want to be able to dance -- not that they haven't on my last records, but they like to skip the ballads," he continued jokingly. "We put one ballad on this project, which is like five less than I normally have ever done."

Thomas Rhett last performed at CMA Fest 2024 in Nashville on June 6 and is set to perform at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival in September, along with Doja Cat , Big Sean , Camila Cabello , Gwen Stefani , Keith Urban , New Kids on the Block , Paramore and many more.
