Jason Aldean Reveals New 2024 Highway Desperado Tour Dates

Jason Aldean 's 2024 tour will pick up where he left off in 2023. The Highway Desperado Tour will begin again next May and run into October.

The new tour dates listed below are in addition to several festival shows, including seven festivals with Kid Rock that were announced earlier this month. Lauren Alaina and Hailey Whitters will split direct support duties on most of these just-announced shows. A group led by Chase Matthew will join Aldean on all 24 dates.

• Aldean's 2024 Highway Desperado Tour follows a 2023 tour of the same name.
• Aldean told Taste of Country that the tour name came before the song "Highway Desperado," found on his new album of the same name.
• Tickets for most of the new dates will go on sale Dec. 1, with three dates (July 12-13, Aug. 2) going on sale on Dec. 15.

The bulk of the new Highway Desperado Tour dates take place next summer. After a single show in May, he'll break until July and then play almost every weekend until Oct. 5.

Are Platinum Seats resale tickets? No. Platinum Seats were not purchased initially and then posted for resale; they are being sold for the first time. Platinum Seats enables market-based pricing (adjusting prices according to supply and demand) for live event tickets, similar to how airline tickets and hotel rooms are sold. The goal is to give the most passionate fans fair and safe access to the best tickets, while enabling artists and other people involved in staging live events to price tickets closer to their true value.

Jason Aldine Williams (born February 28th, 1977), better known by his stage name, Jason Aldean, is an American country musician from Macon, Georgia, who’s been making music since 2005.

The trajectory of Aldean’s career to date serves as a sharp example of the old adage that good things come to those who wait, although you could certainly forgive him for wishing that things had panned out a little more simply for him. He seemed to have the world at his feet in 1998; at the age of twenty-one, he signed a record deal with Warner-Chappell. He was subsequently, and repeatedly, dropped, and spent some years struggling to get his music career - something which had once looked like a dead-cert - off the ground. It meant that he didn’t manage to get his self-titled debut record out into the world until 2005, although it brought the success that his talent had always promised; “Why” became his first number one single on the U.S. Country charts, and the album itself would eventually go platinum in his homeland, too.

Since then, he’s released a further three platinum albums and another, November 2010’s “My Kinda Party”, that was certified triple-platinum. He’s a bona fide country titan now, with a slew of Grammy nominations and another Billboard number one position for his latest album, October 2010’s Old Boots, New Dirt, proof of his national stardom.

The concert was a 16th birthday present for my daughter. She has been listening to country music for only a year or so and none of her close friends share her interests in it. She didn't know that our seats were on the field and her face when we stopped and picked up the field wristband was priceless! What a great beginning for the night. I know that more than one song of Jason's has helped her through a few things over the past few months. It all started while she was reading a book a while back that had the words to Jason's song She's Country in it. It not only touched the heroine's heart but my daughter's too. Not yet a Jason fan, she decided to find out what other songs were his. The rest is history. The concert was truly a wonderful experience - from Tyler Farr, Florida Georgia Line and then.....JASON ALDEAN!! The fireworks that started the show and visuals throughout were great. A surprise duet with Kelly Clarkson (on video), great selection of songs; even a new song too. Loved his interaction with the lady and the t shirt during 1994. It was a great night with my daughter. We were sorry to see it end. Fortunately, Jason was gracious enough to do one encore. How about the encore??!!! We couldn't believe the incredible song choice - She's Country with a sky full of fireworks!!!!! It just doesn't get any better than that!!! Thanks Jason for stopping in Philly.

Any country fan is encouraged to see the charismatic Jason Aldean perform live to see an artist who adds real show to his country sound. Supported by a tight backing band who Alden continuously interacts, jams and thanks throughout the show, the Tennessee singer/songwriter is confident onstage to say the least.

The guitar string intro of 'Hicktown' receives massive cheers from the crowd as Jason launches into a barrage of hit singles in such quick succession that the first ten minutes of the show are one massive barn-storming blur. His last two albums have hit the top spot on the US Billboard chart so a percentage of his audience are made of new supporters and Jason caters to them with huge renditions of 'Night Train' and 'Take A Little Ride'.

Whilst he accommodates his older, loyal fans with the likes of 'Amarillo Sky' and 'Johnny Cash'. Either way, all the crowd seem to enjoy every song by the sound of applause throughout. 'She's Country', his usual set closer evokes massive roars of appreciation from the audience and spurs Aldean on further as his whole band before this massive country toe tapping swan song.

My husband my son and I went to Lakewood in Atlanta to see Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia line and Tyler Farr. The tickets were reserve pit. My 10 year old son got to high five Jason. It was an amazing and unforgettable night. The tickets were about $100 per person but to us was worth every dime. We took a lot of great pics. The staff at Lakewood were very helpful and nice. Jason Aldean is an awesome performer. He played all our favorite songs. He rocked the ATL. By far my favorite concert EVER! I hope I get to see him live again. The sound was great and Jason sounded perfect. I'm glad he picked Florida Georgia line to tour with him. I think it is a perfect combination. They even rocked out together at the end in an awesome jam session. If you get a chance, go see Jason!

This show was way beyond packed. I didn't know it could get that full at the sleep train. We had to park about a mile out and walk just to catch the very end of Thomas Rhett which was super lame. Wish we could have seen all of us his show. Also jason aldean put on a great show much better than super graphicy one last year - but the encore was really weird and really wanted to hear Texas was You but nope a few too many new boring songs. Jason Aldean and this tour is clearly the king of country right now.

AWSOME!!!! Fire works good music totally legit concert I would advise if you are a Jason aldean fan go see him live its even better sounds exactly how he does on the radio. He also performed all of his hits down to his earliest number ones and hits. light show "shes country"and "crazy town" had the most effects during the show flame throwers as well. Too much to tell. If you love Jason aldean you have to go see him live he will not let you down just awesome.

Kane Brown was amazing and Jason Aldean rocked the house. Montage Mountain is still a disaster to get to. Must be run by the 3 Stooges. Took an hour to get up the hill, missed half the concert. You would think k after all these years somebody competent could figure out traffic slow. Never going back to that venue. How many years of constant complaints about traffic and parking before somebody cares Montage ?

What a fantastic show! 10/10, absolutely amazing. I will remember last night for a long time, as I had a blast and sung my heart out with Jason Aldean and his headliners a Thousand Horses and Thomas Rhett. The stage setup and lighting was phenomenal, and really added to the great experience of the show.

The concert was great especially the atmosphere . Great fans knew all the words to the songs. It was a huge part especially the tailgating before the show

Absolutely amazing! I even brought a friend with me who doesn't even listen to country and she had a blast! She now loves Aldean just as much as me. She even made me stop at the store on the way home so she could buy all his albums they had! I got her hooked and I'm proud. :)

The concert was incredible! The only bad part was the amount of time it took toget into the concert and the amount of time it took to get out of the parking lot. Other than those two issues, the concert was great.

Superstar performer Jason Aldean will continue touring across America into 2024 supporting his brand new album 'Highway Desperado' . The 24-city excursion kicks off May 18th in Thackerville and runs into October making additional stops in Wantagh, Savannah, Virginia Beach, Burgettstown, Greensboro and Laughlin. Joining the tour in support will be special guests Lauren Alaina , Hailey Whitters , Chase Matthew , Austin Snell and Dee Jay Silver . The tour originally launched in 2023 and was joined by Mitchell Tenpenny , Corey Kent and Dee Jay Silver.

Aldean released his 11th studio album 'Highway Desperado' on November 3rd, 2023 via Broken Bow Records. The new album follows up 2022's 'Georgia' and 2021's 'Macon' which features a guest appearance by Carrie Underwood on the Grammy-nominated track 'If I Didn't Love You' . Also in 2022, the Platinum-selling artist launched his Rock N' Roll Cowboy Tour along with support from Gabby Barrett and John Morgan . The prior year, his Back In The Saddle Tour was joined by HARDY and Lainey Wilson .

Everything to know about VOA Country Music Fest, feat. Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, more

The second annual  Voices of America Country Music Fest starts Thursday.

The festival, returning for a second year, takes place at the Voice of America MetroPark in West Chester from Aug. 8-11.

"We listen to our fans," said Tyler Wogenstahl, the festival's founder and creator, when discussing what organizers learned from the inaugural event in 2023. "People loved the fact that we had two stages last year, so this year we are going to have three. Better entertainment, more entertainment. That's what we're going to do for our fans."

Headliners that include Jason Aldean , Keith Urban, Sam Hunt and Diplo close out each night, and other acts will perform throughout the day. Tickets are still available online at voacountrymusicfest.frontgatetickets.com .

Here's what to know if you plan on attending the country music festival.

Voices of America Country Music Fest lineup

This year's festival features some of the biggest names in country music. In addition to the headliners, artists that include Lauren Alaina, Brett Young and Russell Dickerson will also perform.

"I look at the artist side of things the same as I look at the fan experience," Wogenstahl said. "The artists need to have a good experience, and for them to have a good experience, they have to have those fans. As long as the people of Cincinnati and the residents and those fans keep on supporting this event, we're going to make sure that we keep on bringing those artists that they want to see."

When is Diplo's performance?

The festival added three-time Grammy winner Diplo to its lineup back in May. The popular DJ released his latest country music venture, an EP titled "Thomas Wesley: The Mixtape," in April, which was on the heels of his recent country albums "Thomas Wesley: Chapter 2 – Swamp Savant," released in 2023, and "Thomas Wesley Chapter 1: Snake Oil," released in 2020.

"What I love about country music now is that it's such an expanding genre," Wogenstahl said.

"Diplo is a great DJ and he did some really cool collaborations with Lily Rose whose actually on the lineup this year. So I thought that was cool to be able to tie a really famous EDM DJ into this festival. But also the genre is expanding in other ways too, to where it's very mainstream compared to what it once was maybe 20-30 years ago. ... What we wanted to do is bring a mix of artists that would appeal to everybody."

Diplo will perform a late-night show, as he's slated to go on after Keith Urban at 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

How do I show my ticket for Voices of America Country Music Fest?

Festivalgoers who purchased tickets should have received a wristband in the mail. The wristband is the ticket, and fans should wear it for the duration of the event. Per the festival's FAQ page , wristbands are not transferable and cannot be given to someone else if the original person cannot attend.

What time does Voices of America Country Music Fest open and close each day?

Gates open at 5 p.m. Thursday and close at 10 p.m. Then they open at 1 p.m. Friday-Sunday and close at 10 p.m.

Parking at the festival

Single-day and four-day parking passes are available for purchase on the festival  website .

Can you tailgate in the parking lot?

Tailgating or consuming alcohol in the festival parking lot is prohibited and will be strictly enforced.

What can I bring inside the Voices of America festival?

The following items are allowed inside:

• Clear bags.
• Festival flags without metal or wooden poles.
• Squeezable, soft plastic water bottles that are empty.
• Soft, foldable, single-person lawn chairs.

These items are prohibited:

• Fireworks or explosives.
• Weapons or firearms.
• Drugs and drug paraphernalia.
• Outside food, drinks, water bottles and alcohol.
• Professional video or photography equipment.
• Audio recording devices.
• Framed backpacks, bladder-style backpacks and bota bags.
• Laser pointers.

If you missed Jason Aldean’s concert at Syracuse’s Empower FCU Amphitheater at Lakeview on July 11, the “Dirt Road Anthem” singer is back in Upstate NY, bringing his 2024 “Highway Desperado Tour” to the Darien Lake Amphitheater in Darien Lake, NY, about a 40-minute drive outside Buffalo, on Thursday, August 1 (8/1/2024). The concert starts at 7:30 p.m., with special guest Lauren Alaina opening.

The 24-date extended tour, which kicked off on May 18 in Thackerville, OK, is in support of Aldean’s 11th studio album, “Highway Desperado,” released on November 3, 2023.

The controversial lead single off the album “Try That in a Small Town” featured a music video that was shot on the site of a 1927 lynching in Tennessee; CMT removed the video after critics accused him of promoting violence and guns with threatening undertones. However, it became Aldean’s first chart-topper on the Billboard Hot 10, while the album peaked at #19 on the US Billboard 200.
