About football packages with Barcelona

The slogan for Barcelona is Més que un club, which means “More than a club”. The idea is that Barcelona is supposed to be both a family club as well as defending the colors of Catalonia against the rest of Spain. FC Barcelona is actually owned by one of its fans.

You can buy tickets for FC Barcelona’s home games both at the stadium, on the internet and by phone. The by far easiest alternative is to book a package trip with FC Barcelona, where both hotel and game ticket, or hotel, game ticket and flights, are included. There are eight price levels for the home games at Camp Nou. If you want to see Barcelona play against one of the worse teams, you can get tickets very cheaply. For games in Champions League or against Real Madrid (el Clásico), the prices are steeper.

Barcelona is regarded as one of the world’s greatest teams. The team has a range of top players. A large portion of the players in the A lineup has always participated in both the European Championship 2008, the World Championship 2010 and the European Championship 2012 for Spain. However, the greatest star is the Argentinian Leo Messi. Messi, who has already been named the world’s greatest player several times, breaks scoring records for Barcelona on a regular basis. Other significant players include Andres Iniesta and Xavi Hernandez.

Other things to do in Barcelona

There is no mystery behind why Barcelona has become a firm favorite for many when it comes to spending a weekend in a European city. Barcelona has everything a tourist could want. There are plenty of entertainment venues, fantastic restaurants, excellent shopping and a plethora of attractions to see. There is even a beach in the heart of the city!

Briefly about Camp Nou

Camp Nou is the largest stadium in Europe. Even though it can hold almost 100,000 people when a game is afoot, there are actually plans for expanding it. At Camp Nou the pride of Catalonia, FC Barcelona, plays its home games.

Camp Nou can take 99,354 spectators, making it the by far biggest football stadium in Europe. Furthermore, it only consists of seats, making it even more unique. The stadium was inaugurated in September 1957 with a game between FC Barcelona and a team of the best players from the Polish city Warszawa.

Cam Nou is the third stadium where FC Barcelona has played. During the club’s infancy it played on Camp del Carrer Indústria. It grew out of that stadium pretty quickly, and in 1922 Campo de Les Corts was finished. That stadium could hold up towards 60,000 spectators, but even Les Corts soon became too small to be able to serve all of Barcelona’s fans. Cam Noi was constructed between 1954–1957. It was initially called Estadi del FC Barcelona, but the people referred to it as Camp Nou, which in Catalonian means “New Stadium”. It wasn’t until 2001, after a vote among the club’s members (socios), that Camp Nou became the official name. When Spain hosted the football World Championship of 1982, expansions were made on Camp Nou, which brought the capacity up to 120,000. During the 1990’s, however, the capacity was reduced in connection with the stadium being modified to only offer seats.

Camp Nou lies about five kilometers west of the central parts of Barcelona. You can walk all the way to the stadium, but the wiser choice is to take the subway. From the center of the city you can take line 3 and get off at the Les Corts station, or take line 5 and get off at the Collblanc station. From both of these stations there is a walk of ten-or-so minutes to the stadium.

Since the beginning of the season, we put tickets on sale - on this site - as soon as they are on sale, without knowing how many days before the game. For the moment this process is random. Thank you for your understanding.

If none will be available here, do you know how close to gameday tickets usually come onto the FC Barca website (for general public sale)? I can imagine this might be a unique situation considering it's champions league and also 30% capacity. Hopefully you can give us a bit of guidance. Cheers, Jack

FC Barcelona Tickets: How Tourists Can See the Action

fc barcelona tickets view from the second level at camp nou

Seeing a Barcelona FC game means seeing the best club in the world.

The spectacle from Messi to the stadium itself isn’t just a dream come true for football fans but a great way to get in touch with Catalan culture .

But to do this you’ve gotta get FC Barcelona tickets first.

Let’s discover all there is to know about how to attend the games, the team’s schedule, and a whole lot of information about Barcelona’s famous stadium Camp Nou.

Barcelona Football Club

Contrary to popular belief the word ‘Barça’ does not refer to the city itself.

This is the nickname used to describe Barcelona FC.

If you’re looking for the nickname of the city then you’ll have to say ‘Barna’ lest you be chewed out by locals or pretentious expats like myself 😛

Barça is the most decorated team of the 21st century and in total counts: 24 Liga championships, 28 Copa del Rey, and 5 Champions League trophies.

Add it all up and we’re talking about one of the most known and loved teams not only in Catalonia but around the world. And one of Barcelona’s top attractions .

The club’s motto is més que un club – “more than a club”.

You’ll feel this immediately as football in the city is really not only a game but a religion, where the Barcelona faithful cheer on Saint Messi and co as they take on the world.

If you want to get on the good side of a local talking about the potency of this team and its long list of stars like Messi, Suarez, and Iniesta is a great way to start.

Sports fan? No Barcelona itinerary is complete without it.

Where to Buy Barcelona FC Tickets

My suggestion is buying tickets in advance through Tiqets .

Not only is it an official ticket resale outlet but it gives you the added convenience of not printing tickets or paying exorbitant prices.

You’ll also get to sit in premium seats behind the goals, the Northern Grandstand (Gol 1, 2, 3), or in the Lateral (1, 2, 3) zones.

barcelona trip with football tickets

Barcelona ticket prices range from about €10.00 for low end Copa del Rey games to up into the thousands for things like El Clasico (against Real Madrid).

FYI: minors 14 and up are able to attend alone however younger visitors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

If there is no ticket availability here you can look for alternative agents like the following:

  • The  Official FC Barcelona website : for the biggest Champions League matches and other La Liga tilts the tickets found here are guaranteed.
  • In the FC Barcelona and FCBotigues shops. The official stores of the club are found at the following locations:  Camp Nou ,  Passeig de Gracia 15 , and at  La Roca Village  in La Roca del Vallès (Polígono Industrial Can Massaguer Nord). Other Barcelona shopping destinations recognized as official partners can be found at:  Maremàgnum Shopping Centre ,  Las Arenas Shopping Centre , Plaça Catalunya , Carrer Jaume I 18 , Barcelona El Prat airport  both T1 and T2,  Sants Station  and near the Sagrada Familia at  Carrer de Mallorca 406 .
  • The ticket windows at Camp Nou: hours will be listed below.

Things to Know Before Buying

  • Only minors 14 and over can attend matches alone: any younger and they will have to attend with a paying adult.
  • UEFA rules dictate that foreigners cannot buy tickets for the home team – meaning if you’re going to buy Champions League tickets you will need get them in the visitor’s section or get a VIP/box ticket.

FC Barcelona Schedule and Tickets

The joan gamper cup.

Football/soccer lovers will be happy that the sport comes back with a vengeance in August in Barcelona.

The first of Barça’s most important matches of the season is in honour of its founder and former president Hans Gamper . The match involves an invited team from anywhere in the world and the 2019 Gamper Cup guest is the legendary English club Arsenal on August 4th at 8:00 pm.

You may also want to take a tour of Camp Nou stadium to see some of the best sports memorabilia around including Champions League trophies, Messi’s Golden Boots and more.

How to Get to Camp Nou

You’ll find Camp Nou in the Les Corts area at Avenida d’Arístides Maillol 12 .

It’s about 8-10 minutes walking from the metro stations Badal (blue line L5), Les Corts (green line L3), and Collblanc (blue line L5 and orange line L9).

You can also reach the grounds with a 20 minute walk from Sants Estacio .

In my article dedicated to Camp Nou I go into a bit more detail on how to arrive, some great restaurants in the area, and some things to do for non football fans.

How do we get back to our hotel after the game?

This is one of the most common questions I get asked.

Depending on where you are and how quickly you want to beat the crowd there are a few options:

  • If you’ve got yourself an  Hola Bcn  pass with unlimited transport you’ll be able to grab the metro . The metro is open from Sunday to Thursday until midnight, until 2 am on Friday, and runs all night on Saturday.
  • Another option is taking a taxi . Not only is this the easiest way to get to your hotel or Airbnb fast and saves you from long lines at the metro, but with the application Free Now (for either Android  or  iOS ) you’ll get €5.00 off your first ride . It’s also convenient because you’ll be able to pre-book and have a meeting place arranged without the hassle of flagging one down. The cost to most central areas should be about €10.00-€12.00.
  • If you’re a bus person then you’ll have bus 50 and 54 as an option before 10 pm. Both depart from outside the Collblanc metro station and will take you back towards Plaça de Catalunya. There’s also the 67 that runs from Maria Cristina metro. After 10 pm you’ll have to get one of the two night buses heading back central: N28 and N2.

Camp Nou Box Office Hours

At Camp Nou stadium there are 5 separate ticket window areas located in the following sections: 7, 9, 14, Gol Nord, and Gol Sud.

Here are the hours for each:

  • Section 14 : from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm, Saturday (only game days) from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm.
  • Boulevard Section (access to 7 and 9) : from Monday to Saturday in high season from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, in low season from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm. On game days it’s open from 11:00 am to the end of the match.
  • Gol Nord and Gol Sud : on game days both are open from 11:00 am till the end of the game.

Best Place to Sit at Camp Nou

When any football fan touches down at Camp Nou stadium they’re headed for goose bump territory.

The gigantic 48 meter high, 55 thousand square meter stadium has a capacity of 99,354 which makes it the biggest stadium in Europe !

Since it’s so massive it’s imperative that you find a great spot as sometimes sight-lines can be substandard or even warranting binoculars.

Naturally your position will depend some on your budget, however in general I can say that pretty much anywhere on the second level will offer you a great chance to see Messi and Co get to work.

If you’ve got enough money for level one you’ll see the action up close but keep in mind you won’t have a great view of the entire field.

The Barcelona game tickets sold via Tiqets above are at GOL (1, 2, 3) and LATERAL (1, 2, 3), all offering a great view of the match.

Kick Off in the Comments Below

Again, whether you’re right up front or up in the nosebleeds for most football fans it will barely even matter.

Football Travel in Spain – The Catalan Guide

FC Barcelona outside the stadium

Football in Catalonia is dominated by one club with FC Barcelona having grown to become the largest symbol of Catalan identity over the decades. However anyone planning a football trip to Catalonia has plenty of options besides the standard game and stadium tour at Camp Nou, something which won’t even be possible for the foreseeable future as the club’s famous old ground undergoes a massive revamp. In this Catalonia football travel guide, we’ll also give you the lowdown on the smaller clubs across the region with tips for getting around and buying tickets.

FC Barcelona tickets

The Catalonia Football Map

Catalonia is split into four separate provinces. By far the most famous and the one with the largest population and most football teams is Barcelona. Within the metropolitan area of the Catalan capital you will find top flight FC Barcelona, as well as Espanyol who were relegated to the Segunda División at the end of the 2022/23 season. Third tier U. E. Cornellà and Sabadell are also situated in the province of Barcelona.

There is only one other Catalan club currently in the top two divisions and that’s top flight Girona, although FC Andorra also play in the second tier and Catalan is the official language of the tiny principality.

The other two Catalan provinces are Tarragona and Lleida. As of the 2023/24 campaign, Gimnàstic de Tarragona currently play in the third tier while Lleida Esportiu are a level lower down in the Segunda Federación.

Catalonia Football Travel – The Clubs

The barcelona clubs, fc barcelona.

Montjuic Stadium, Barcelona

Stadium – Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys (while Camp Nou is redeveloped)

Capacity – 54,367

Nearest Station – Poble Sec (Barcelona Metro)

With a capacity of just shy of 100,000, Camp Nou was the largest stadium in Europe, however it is undergoing expensive redevelopment work which may not be fully completed until 2026. As such the city’s old Estadi Lluís Companys, home of the 1992 Olympics, will be Barcelona’s home for the 2023/24 season and most likely much of the 2024/25 campaign. Situated on the top of Montjuïc Hill which offers spectacular views of the city, it’s a great location, but the stadium has certainly seen better days.

How to buy tickets for Barcelona matches :

With a much reduced capacity, FC Barcelona tickets may be harder to come by until Camp Nou is ready again, although the club’s opening league match at Montjuic only attracted a crowd of 39,603.

You can buy tickets online via their website with prices for upcoming league matches starting at €74, although that will rise for higher profile games such as Champions League fixtures. You can also get hotel and ticket packages for Barcelona games in advance via sportsbreaks.com .

Obviously, the popular Camp Nou stadium tours are not currently running. However the museum is still open and can be visited from €28 when bought online , with extra fees if you buy at the ticket office. The Barça museum is located adjacent to Camp Nou and can be accessed via Palau Reial, Badal or Collblanc metro stations to the west of the city centre.

Espanyol match

Stadium – RCDE Stadium

Capacity – 40,000

Nearest Station – Cornellà-Riera or Cornellà (Rodalies de Catalunya)

Espanyol are Barcelona’s second team and in truth it is a distant second. They don’t embrace the Catalan identity in the same way as their rivals and are frequently the butt of jokes amongst Barça supporters who claim Espanyol followers are just Real Madrid fans in disguise. Espanyol do have a long history of their own though, having won the Copa del Rey four times while they reached the UEFA Cup Final as recently as 2007.

While you can reach the RCDE Stadium by using the Barcelona metro, it’s a long journey with Espanyol now based outside of the city’s official limits in Cornellà. It’s better to take the faster Rodalies de Catalunya trains and from the centre of the city you can reach the modern 40,000 arena in around half an hour if starting out from Plaça de Catalunya or Plaça d’Espanya.

How to buy tickets for Espanyol matches:

Espanyol’s average crowds were under 21,000 during LaLiga 2022/23 and relegation is unlikely to improve that figure. As a result, getting tickets for their games is easy and much more affordable when compared to their city rivals. Prices usually start at around €20. Check their ticketing page to buy tickets for upcoming matches.

The smaller Barcelona clubs

The province of Barcelona is also home to numerous smaller clubs. The biggest and most interesting of the bunch is CE Sabadell . They were formed way back in 1903 and have spent 14 seasons in the top flight, although they haven’t been there since 1988. Since then they’ve hovered between the second and fourth tiers. Be aware that it can take around an hour by road or rail to reach their 12,000 capacity stadium in the inland city of Sabadell, well away from the centre of Barcelona.

There are other clubs that lie only just outside of the city limits. UE Cornellà are a very small club that only reached the third tier for the first time in 2014. They are also in the 2023/24 Primera Federacion and play at the 1,500 capacity Nou Estadi Municipal de Cornellà, located right next to the Espanyol stadium.

Barcelona’s B team are also in the Primera Federacion, while heading down to the fourth tier, Badalona , Cerdanyola del Vallès , Europa , Manresa , Sant Andreu and Terrassa are options for lower league football in and around Barcelona.

The Other Catalan Clubs

Catalonia Football Travel Guide

Stadium – Estadi Montilivi

Capacity – 13,450

Nearest Station – Girona Train Station

Girona may be a top flight club that carries the name of their city and indeed province, but this has never historically been a big football area. The club spent much of the 2000’s in the Tercera División before a dramatic rise in the 2010’s which culminated in them reaching the Primera for the first time in 2017. Relegation followed in 2019, but after three seasons in the second tier, they were promoted again and secured an impressive top half finish in LaLiga 2022/23.

Their fanbase is still small and a strong Catalan identity, as well as links to Manchester City, mean they aren’t universally loved within Spain. However Girona is a lovely small city to visit and their football under current boss Michel is usually entertaining to watch.

How to buy tickets for Girona matches:

To visit the Estadi Montilivi yourself, you can potentially fly into Girona-Costa Brava airport to the south of the city or hop on one of the regular trains from Barcelona (the high-speed options take just 40 minutes to travel from Barcelona-Sants to Girona’s railway station). The football stadium is on the outskirts of town with just over a 30 minute walk or a short bus or taxi ride needed to reach it.

Their website has a good English section which enables you to see upcoming games and whether tickets are yet on sale . Prices start at €32.50 for upcoming matches when bought online with much higher prices likely for the visits of Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Gimnàstic de Tarragona

Gimnàstic de Tarragona

Stadium – Nou Estadi

Capacity – 14,591

Nearest Station – Tarragona Train Station

Gimnàstic de Tarragona probably have to be viewed as the third biggest club in Catalonia after the two Barcelona sides, even though they have been very much outperformed by Girona in recent years. Commonly known as Nàstic, they spent most of the 21st Century in the Segunda División before dropping down to the third tier in 2019.

Tarragona is an attractive coastal city with some gorgeous beaches and it can be reached easily by flying into nearby Reus Airport or by taking a regional train from Barcelona (about an hour on regional trains). It’s a very pleasant 45 minute walk from the train station to the Nou Estadi through the old Roman parts of the city but you may prefer to take a bus or taxi.

How to buy tickets for Nastic matches:

Demand to watch Primera Federacion football is not great across Spain so you should easily be able to just show up on match days and buy a ticket with the stadium’s near 15,000 capacity more than fit for purpose. They also have an online ticketing platform .

The Best of the Rest

The only really notable club in the fourth and by some distance least visited Catalan province is Lleida Esportiu who play at the 13,500 capacity Camp d’Esports. Officially they are a new club, founded in 2011 out of the ashes of UE Lleida, who have twice featured in the top flight and twice been relegated (1950/51 & 1993/94). They are the only Catalan club outside of Barcelona province in the 2023/24 Segunda Federación.

Finally, we should give a mention to ambitious FC Andorra , a club owned by Barcelona’s Gerard Pique who have risen to the second tier in rapid time. If you fancy a trip to see them play, there are several daily buses from Barcelona Nord Station that take a little over three hours to reach the stunning principality, nestled high up in the Pyrenees.

Groundhopping in Catalonia – Getting Around

Barcelona metro

Barcelona transport , CC BY 2.0

The city of Barcelona has a large metro (underground) network that will transport you to basically anywhere you need to get in the city. You can get to the current stadiums of Barcelona and Espanyol, as well as the likes of Cornellà and Badalona by using the metro and all those clubs fall within Zone 1 of the network with single tickets costing €2.40 while you can get a 10-journey pass for €11.35. This is also eligible for use on buses, trams and suburban trains within Zone 1.

Catalonia also has an extensive rail network known as the Rodalies de Catalunya with 18 separate lines. This connects Barcelona with a range of towns and cities across the region. It’s not as regular as the metro but the main lines in and out of Barcelona still run every ten minutes or so. It’s a quicker way to reach the clubs on the outskirts of the city (you can use the same 10-journey ticket providing you stay in zone 1) and it is also the most affordable way to get around the wider region. If you’re planning a big trip taking in a range of games across Catalonia, it’s a good idea to familiarise yourself with the Rodalies network map , which offers affordable travel from Barcelona to cities such as Girona, Tarragona, Sabadell and Lleida.

If you are more worried about time than money, then you can use the national trains ( buy tickets on Renfe.com ) to get between the main cities. From Barcelona-Sants Station, it’s only 59 minutes to Lleida and 39 minutes to Girona via the faster trains. There are no high-speed trains to the centre of Tarragona but you can still reach it in a little over an hour via the very scenic regional express line which hugs the coast while some high-speed AVE services between Barcelona and Madrid stop at Camp de Tarragona which is 13 km from the city.

With such a large and affordable rail network, there’s not much need to travel by bus but there are bus lines covering most routes too.

Away from the Football

Barcelona City - Espanyol Season Preview

Catalonia really does have a little bit of everything so there’s a huge amount to see and do away from the football. The city of Barcelona is the beating heart of the region and one of Europe’s finest cities. It is packed with the architecture of Antoni Gaudí with the world famous Sagrada Familia the main attraction. Book your tickets online if you plan to visit to save money and not waste time queuing.

The beautiful Park Güell is another major highlight with great views across the city while there are a host of lively districts to explore and while parts of the city are completely overrun by tourism, it’s not impossible to get a taste for the real Barcelona.

The city does have beaches, but the best Catalan ones lie well away from Barcelona. The Costa Brava which runs through the province of Girona to the French border is full of picturesque beach towns and fishing villages while you can also find some gorgeous and much quieter beaches in the area around Tarragona. There are also a few livelier tourist resorts such as Lloret de Mar and Salou if you’re looking to fit some football around a holiday.

The actual cities of Girona and Tarragona are well worth exploring for a day too. Both have pretty old towns with Girona’s riverside setting and colourful buildings making it one of the most attractive in Spain. Tarragona is another historic city, full of little plazas while its well-preserved Roman amphitheatre is its main attraction.

There are also loads of great hiking routes in Catalonia which are considerably more hilly and spectacular than much of Spain. Close to Barcelona, the unusual rock formation and mountain-top monastery at Montserrat, makes it a popular day-trip destination. There are plenty of other great options though where you can explore the scenic countryside at your own pace and if you really want to escape the crowds, head to the much less visited province of Lleida, the gateway to the Pyrenees.

About fc barcelona tickets 2023/24.

FC Barcelona has always been known for their enjoyable and highly entertaining style of football which often yields fantastic results. They are regarded by many as the architects of modern football due to their invention of the “tiki-taka" style of play, a brand of football that mesmerises both the opposing players and fans inside the stadium. Little wonder why they are, according to Forbes Magazine, the club with the most social media followers.

FC Barcelona is a football club based in Barcelona, Spain. FC Barcelona usually plays at the renowned Camp Nou stadium, which was finished in 1957. It's one of the biggest stadiums in the world, with a capacity of 99,354 that will soon grow to 105,000.

FC Barcelona History

The club was founded in 1899, by a group of people led by the famous Joan Gamper. Later it would become one of the most valuable football clubs in the world, with a $5 billion valuation.

FC Barcelona is owned by the supporters, representing the “Cules”, a term derived from the Catalan culture. Joan Laporta is the current president of the organisation, having been elected in March 2021. Laporta previously served between 2003 and 2010 and is the most successful president ever of FC Barcelona, by trophies won.

Barcelona is hugely popular worldwide, holding more than 100 million fans on Facebook, and with an estimated half a billion fans around the globe.

Many superstars have worn the Blaugrana uniform, including Leo Messi, Johan Cruyff, Ronaldinho, Andres Iniesta, Ronaldo, Carles Puyol, Rivaldo and many many more. Currently, the team success can be attributed to the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Gavi and Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

There have been many great coaches that have taken Barcelona to greatness, including Pep Guardiola, Johan Cruyff, and Luis Enrique. Those were also part of the Barcelona squad back in their playing days. The current head coach is the Spaniard Xavi, who dominated in midfield alongside Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets during his time as a player at the club.

Leo Messi's departure from the Camp Nou was a trauma for the club, so integral to Barcelona's success was the magical Argentine. Messi left for PSG as record goal scorer (672 goals) and highest ever number of appearances (778).

Barcelona holds a very important rivalry against Real Madrid as they are the two top clubs in La Liga and for periods, the world. El Clasico, which happens at least twice a year, is one of the most watched sports events in the world. FC Barcelona and Real Madrid are often fighting it out for the La Liga title.

The best years for FC Barcelona were undoubtedly during Messi's era at the club under managers such as Pep Guardiola and Luis Enrique. They dominated La Liga and were always one of the best teams in the Champions League .

More than the deluge of trophies won, it was their famous tiki-taka style of play identified by short passes and constant movement, working the ball through multiple channels, and sustaining possession of the ball, that gained so many supporters across the globe.

Many regard them as the “Blaugrana” while some prefer to simply call them “Barca”.

FC Barcelona Squad Info

As one of the richest and most popular clubs in the world, FC Barcelona has never been found wanting when it comes to investing in their squad. The club has one of the best groups of football players and staff in the world. With players like Robert Lewandowski, Gavi, Pedri and Frenkie De Jong within their ranks it’s not surprising how they’ve managed to be a dominant force in the Spanish La Liga in recent years. Coached by Xavi, Barca has maintained its position as one of the best in the game.

Current League

FC Barcelona are a force to be reckoned with in the Spanish La Liga. Along with Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao , FC Barcelona have never been relegated from the top tier of Spanish football since La Liga was established in 1929.

Past Season Results

FC Barcelona has been a dominant force both on and off the pitch and in recent seasons they’ve dominated the Spanish top flight but struggled in Europe. They conquered Spain again in 2022/2023 by winning La Liga under Xavi.

Temporary Stadium

As part of Barcelona's ongoing Espai Barça project, the Catalan giants moved out of the Camp Nou to a new home for the 2023/24 season. All home games are set to take place place at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys until November 2024.

Their temporary home was built in 1927 and was centre stage for the 1992 Summer Olympics. It has a capacity of 54,367, sizeably less than Camp Nou. The La Liga side will play their home matches at the Olympic Stadium in both the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons.

Camp Nou Redevelopment

Though it's accurate to state that Camp Nou is one of the most iconic stadiums in world football and one that fans from far and wide look to pay a footballing pilgrimage to, it's also true to say that the stadium has seen better days.

Ongoing discussions to bring the stadium into line with the stature of the club itself were lengthy, and the decision was finally taken to conduct a major redevelopment of the stadium and its surrounding area.

Once completed, the Camp Nou stadium will have a capacity of 105,000 and will include a retractable roof. The overall project includes a number of other developments, including an on-site hotel, ice rink, as well as offices and parks.

FC Barcelona's Historical Accomplishments

During their trophy laden history, they have won 27 La Liga titles, 5 Champions Leagues, 31 Copa del Rey trophies and 4 UEFA Cup Winners' cups.

Club Anthem

Traditionally, the Barca anthem known as “El cant del Barca” is always played on loudspeakers at the stadium while the fans sing aloud in unison.

just buy them at fcbarcelona.com , the official site.

the match day and kick off time is not confirmed yet but it should not be a problem looking at your time in the city.

Hi, I have purchased tickets for March 10th which states date and time tbd. I am assuming the game will be March 9-11 right? Do you have any insight on how close match dates are to what is on the website. We do not arrive until late March 8th so hoping I did not take a big risk. Thanks!

that match is quite probably, 99% prob., being played on the 9th (1% chances of being played on the 8th).

Well rats the game is on the 8th at 21:00. Do you know how long it takes to get to the stadium from the airport? We will need to go straight there. Not all of our party has tickets so they will take our luggage.

You could grab a cab or uber from the airport, drop you off at the stadium and then have the ride continue on to the hotel to drop off companions and baggage. According to google maps, Camp Nou is about 20 min €20-25 from Airport.

The exact plan I was thinking. Thanks!

Going to this game just a reminder the game is at Olympic stadium not Nou Camp

driving times could be much longer on a match day so dont take the 20 minutes as reference.

if you provide some info about your landing time and your lodgement location we could give better advice.

This website and the app offer its members, fans and supporters, as well as any other interested person, the possibility of acquiring tickets through the internet (web or app) to attend matches and/or sporting events for the club’s football and sports teams during the current sports season.    Internet users who access the website or the application of FC BARCELONA and, specifically, this section of ticket sales, voluntarily assume and are obliged to respect the terms and conditions of the sale contract, to which they are subject. This notice regulates the operation of the purchase of tickets put on sale by FC BARCELONA to access sporting events held in the facilities owned by this entity, whether organised by the Club itself, or by third-party organisations.    These General Conditions of Use have been modified on 18/01/2024 Likewise, FC BARCELONA reserves the right to review and modify these legal conditions at any time, so they should visit the website periodically to check for updates to these purchase conditions and to be aware of any updates and/or limitations that may occur and are beyond the control of FC BARCELONA that may apply to the same tickets acquired. The user is subject to the policies and conditions in force at the time of the use of this website or proceed with the installation of the application, therefore continued use of the App or the website shall constitute acceptance of the changes made, except when by law or the decision of the competent body, appropriate changes have to be made retroactively in said policies or conditions.    For any suggestion, questions or complaints, the user can contact FC BARCELONA through:    • Telephone: 902 1899 00 (Spain) / + 34 93 496 36 00 (outside Spain)  • Email: [email protected]   • Post: Futbol Club Barcelona, Arístides Maillol, s / n, 08028 Barcelona (Spain).    2. FORMALISATION OF THE PURCHASE    From the moment in which the user submits their purchase order for one or more tickets, they will be referred to as the "BUYER", and will be bound as such to FC BARCELONA, who will have the status of seller. The purchase made through the internet by the BUYER, received by FC BARCELONA, has a binding contractual nature.    The BUYER declares that he/she has the necessary legal capacity to act and contract through the website or that of the APP, where he must provide the data requested correctly and completely, and undertakes not to enter data from third parties. The receipt of the purchase order will be confirmed immediately by FC BARCELONA by email or by other means. From that moment, that of the express acceptance on behalf of FC BARCELONA, the sale will be considered to have been made and both parties obliged to comply with the agreement.    3. The BUYER pays the price published on the website at the time of completing their purchase, but the price of similar tickets may increase or decrease (for future purchases by third parties) once the BUYER has made his purchase. The BUYER shall not be entitled to a refund of the price difference if the price of similar tickets subsequently decreases after the time of purchase. Therefore, the validity of the ticket/s and the price of them will be those that appear on the website/app at the time of purchase. The price printed on the ticket/s usually correspond to its nominal value and not to the purchase price. The BUYER shall not be entitled to a refund for having paid a price above the nominal value.    B) The date and time of the match for which the tickets are purchased and the price will those that appear on the website or in the app at the time of purchase. Taking into consideration that the date and time of the match can be modified by the organiser of the competition unilaterally, the BUYER declares that it is aware of and agrees to be solely responsible for verifying the final date and time of the match prior to its celebration. This verification may be carried out through the FC BARCELONA website and of the APP.    C) FC BARCELONA is subject to the restrictive security regulations applicable in the organisation and access to sporting meetings, and that is why it is expressly stated that all the tickets that are available to the BUYER on the website and in the FC BARCELONA APP are exclusively intended for the purchase of them by fans of FC BARCELONA; this is expressly stated on the website and in the APP throughout the purchase process. Therefore, the acquisition of said tickets on behalf of fans of rival teams may be flagged as a fraudulent purchase.

As an exception, FC BARCELONA may block the purchase of tickets in certain countries, in particular when they are made to the countries of the teams that are FC BARCELONA rivals for that specific sporting event for which the tickets are put up for sale. This prohibition is carried out in compliance with the provisions of Regulation 2018/302 of the European Parliament, since FC BARCELONA must guarantee the correct separation of fans in order to comply with Law 19/2007, of 11 July against violence, racism, xenophobia and sports intolerance, and its development regulation, essential standards for the development of sporting events in Spain, therefore and in compliance with the provisions of the European Regulation, FC BARCELONA will block any transfer of tickets carried out in this way as said block is necessary to ensure compliance with the aforementioned regulations.

The number of tickets and the price will be chosen by the BUYER during the purchase process and cannot be modified once formalised.    D) The purchase of tickets through the FC BARCELONA official website has two different ticket delivery services available to the buyer:

A home ticket printing service. At the end of the purchase process, the BUYER will receive a PDF file containing the tickets for printing to their e-mail address. Through the same e-mail message, they can download tickets in Passbook format to their mobile phone.

If these do not match, the bearer shall be refused admission to the venue.      In exceptional situations, for technical and/or security reasons, the ticket printing service or the APP may be deactivated; in this case, the BUYER must appear at the Club's ticket offices at least one (1) hour before the event. To proceed with the collection, the BUYER must present the following documents:    - The PURCHASE REFERENCE number.  - The credit/debit card with which they made the purchase.  - The DNI/passport of the holder of said credit/debit card.    In the case of collection by a third party other than the BUYER, they must present the PURCHASE REFERENCE, the original BUYER's ID and an original authorisation signed by the BUYER for the collection of the ticket(s) by that third party, in addition to providing a photocopy of the DNI or official document accrediting the BUYER and the person who makes the collection.    E) No changes or ticket refunds will be accepted, except in the case of the cancellation or suspension of the event (see section 3. F). The BUYER (even as a consumer of the European Union, Norway, Lichtenstein or Iceland) may not exercise the right of withdrawal or resolution provided, both in Directive 2011/83 of the European Union, like in article 103 of Law 3/2014, of March 27, which modifies the revised text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, approved by Legislative Royal Decree 1/2007, of November 16, since the exercise thereof is excluded in these cases.  The BUYER must ensure, before completing the purchase process or the ticket(s), the accuracy and adequacy of the entered data. The impossibility of the BUYER to attend the event and/or error when making the purchase will not be deemed valid reasons to request a refund of the price of the tickets. In accordance with the regulations in force regarding consumer affairs and the management of the retail trade, the BUYER may not exercise the right of withdrawal or resolution since the provision of services related to leisure activities is exempt from such right.    F) Once the ticket(s) have been purchased, the amount will only be exchanged or returned in the event of cancellation of the event prior to the start of the match, in which case the BUYER may request a refundand FC BARCELONA undertakes to carry it out as soon as possible and within a maximum period of 15 days, in the form specified by the Club, and presenting, in all cases, proof of purchase. Once the match has started, if it is suspended due to force majeure, the amount will not be refunded. In the case of any refund, the Club will only reimburse the price of the ticket, not being responsible for any other expense or cost, such as, by way of example and merely enunciative, hotels, trips, meals, per diems, etc.    G) FC BARCELONA reserves the right to alter or modify the schedules, programmes or teams announced for the corresponding match, as well as declare the suspension of the event.    H) FC BARCELONA offers different types of discounts and promotions for the purchase of tickets throughout the season through its website, APP, social network profile and/or any other official communication channel of the Club. The promotions and/or discounts will be subject in any case to the particular conditions indicated in each of them and in no case are they cumulative with each other. Any discount and/or promotion will also apply to the terms and conditions of ticket purchase described in these legal conditions.    4. PRICES AND RATES
