I particularly enjoy watching the dvd alongside the Spiders from Mars, Serious Moonlight, and Reality Tour dvds, as it's great to hear these songs played in different eras, with the arrangements reflecting the time period.
The film was released on VHS in 1988 by MPI Home Video in the US and Video Collection International in the UK. In some regions, it was released on two video cassettes of 10 songs each until a 1990 compilation combined them into a single release. The running time of the combined VHS is approximately 110 minutes. In 1999 a "semi-official" DVD of the show was released in Far East regions only.
Glass Spider was first released in 2007 as part of a special edition package containing a DVD of David Bowie’s 1987 world tour of the same name, and a two-CD set recorded in Montreal, Canada.
