Joe Santini is the best of the best! He is so knowledgable, helpful, friendly, communicative, and patient! I had booked a trip with my husband to Brazil in March 2020 (!) and of course due to covid my trip was delayed, and since then I officially had changed my name on my passport, so he had to deal with reissuing my tickets to reflect my new name. THEN when we finally got to Brazil, I got covid and had to extend my trip and rebook once I was cleared to safely fly back to the US. Both of these situations were extremely time consuming for Joe to have to deal with, and both situations he handled like the pro he is and with a warmth that made me feel secure that everything would work out, and it did!! I highly recommend using Joe and his company next time you're planning a trip!! Thank you again Joe :))

Joseph Santini, owner of Santours, is the most thorough,well-organized agent I have ever had. Joseph set up a great tour for us in Spain, Portugal and travel in the island of Mejorca. He obtained low rates on airfare thru American Airlines and their partners. I asked him as a favor to set up a special tour at the Portuguese aviation museum in Lisbon which he stated he tried numerous times and I later found out thru the presiding Colonel there that he NEVER RECEIVED any messages from Mr Santini. He had us set up in a different hotel in Barcelona (not on the trip itinerary) and the hotel called him to verify and he made no effort to contact them and straighten it out so they attempted to charge us causing an uncomfortable situation. In Mejorca on the last day June 11 we were informed by the Palma Belliver Hotel that we didn't have a ride to the airport and had to pay out of our own pocket (This should not have happened as the hotel transfers were to be included in the total land package charged thru a company called Petrobax. Trip was very good-personal service from Mr Santini no so much! He's a good talker (BSer) who is glad to take your $ but his follow thru is questionable. Caveat Emptor (Buyer Beware)

Dear Mr. Kent Carlomagno, Resident of San Rafael, I would like to inform you that our office only represents the service providers you used during your trip to Spain/Portugal. As far as I can see, you have no complaints about their operation, other than 2 mix-ups. The first one was the the 2 extra nights of the hotel pre-payment in Barcelona. That was an error from the hotel, as your rooms were pre-paid and they made a mistake. The second one was your transfers from the hotel to the airport in Barcelona, but it seems to me you were picked up. You charged back for a transfer you did not pay in Palma de Mayorca. I understand that they did not include it, as it was going to be expensive, but it shows that you charged back for a service you did not pay and I find it dishonest. We exchanged emails in reference to you visit to the Air Museum in Portugal and I did provide them all the details of your trip. Here it is for your recollection: Good morning Kent, You have been way more successful than I was, Congratulations! Most times, when the client goes directly, they do the extra mile. I hope they will give you a red-carpet treatment. I put it down, at the end of each line, the location you will be at. The flights below show you leaving May 19th, arriving Madrid on the 20th. On arrival, same afternoon you will be visiting the Air Museum outside Madrid. I think you are being unfair with your accusations. You also received all services that you paid for. Accusing me of "buyers be aware" you are telling other costumers that we stole money from you and did not deliver what you paid for. This is malicious and a slander, and I demand a retraction. Using an open forum space like YELP to damage someone's reputation may have a serious consequence. Joseph Santini On May 27th, you arrive in Lisbon, late afternoon. May 28th, morning you have a city tour and a Lunch. You will be free to visit the Museum, I would say after 2PM. Ask him if it is possible for you to visit around 15:00 (3PM) and how long he would you allow to stay there. (Maybe you can have a quick Lunch and depart, straight from the restaurant to the Museum). The guide could hail a taxi for you. Day 2, Monday: MADRID (May 21) Arrival at Madrid airport. After clearing simple immigration and customs formalities, you will be transferred to your hotel. Balance of the day is free. We suggest you take advantage of the free time to get to know one of Europe's most dynamic capital cities. In the early evening, enjoy an "Illuminated Madrid" drive through the bustling streets of the old city, ending at the historical and impressive Plaza Mayor. This area is home to some of the most typical restaurants and taverns, which serve the delicious "tapas". PREMIUM PACKAGE includes a Tapas Dinner tonight. Return to your hotel at your own convenience. Accommodations. Day 3, Tuesday: MADRID (May 22) Buffet breakfast. October 2015 I went to Turkey on a Pilgrimage. April-May 2017 I will go to Spain-Portugal-France for another Pilgrimage but this time I am taking my mother for her Breast Cancer Wish. Joseph has been very helpful, professional, respectful & kind. I highly recommend Joseph.

We just completed a trip to Amsterdam followed by a cruise organized by Joseph Santini. From the very start this was totally disorganized. He sent out an entire itinerary that was unclear with all the incorrect dates. Our guide on the tour was rude, inconsiderate, and uninformed. She didn't even check to see if we had the earphones to hear her, nor did she check till the last minute that it was a holiday leaving us unable to see many sites promised. We were herded like cattle and given little time to just enjoy. Joseph did not follow through on an upgraded room on the ship that he promised leaving people without the room requested even when they were paid for. I have used many travel agents but he was totally incompetent

Good sleep is a coveted commodity around the Tour de France . But on the eve of the stage 7 time trial, the best seamstress at cycling apparel brand Santini was working late into the night making sure Tadej Pogačar’s yellow speed suit conformed to his body just so.

It’s going to be a late night for the Santini team, but it’s all to ensure the wearers of the Tour de France’s iconic leader’s jerseys — yellow for fastest overall rider, white for fastest rider under 25, green for the sprinter points competition, and white with red polka dots for the king of the mountains competition — have the best possible equipment for the race of truth.

More so than in most sports, equipment is essential to performance in cycling , and in an age where riders have access to essentially custom, muscle-conforming speed suits for time trials, the ones supplied by the Tour de France need to hold their own.

Santini is now in its third year supplying the leader’s jerseys to the Tour de France, and part of the reason the brand was awarded the coveted gig is its ability to quickly customize its apparel — literally overnight.

Santini brings both its top seamstress and top pattern maker to the race in advance of the time trial stages, Santini CEO Monica Santini tells me. A custom fitting session is available to all four jersey wearers the night before time trials, but there’s a minor catch.

“They must come to the hotel of the yellow jersey,” Monica says. The perks of the yellow jersey extend well beyond the confines of the race course, it seems.

The starting point for the fitting is the company’s existing off-the-rack speed suit, which it supplies to the Australian national team, and the Lidl-Trek WorldTour team currently racing the Tour.

Thanks to working closely with top athletes already, Monica tells me, the standard kit often fits riders very well. The fact that most pro cyclists tend to have similar, rail-thin body types helps as well.

“Remco [Evenepoel] tried the suit and it was already perfect for him,” Monica said.

It’s high praise from the current time trial world champion who is known for obsessing over his equipment. Evenepoel has led the white jersey competition for the best young rider since stage 3 and will take it home Sunday barring a disaster.

Pogačar, however, needed a few alterations to his iconic yellow speed suit before the stage 7 time trial. So the Santini team made note of the changes then worked into the night to ensure everything about his suit was correct.

The next morning, they delivered Pogačar his brand new speed suit, tailored just for him. And later that day, Pogačar finished second, 12 seconds behind Remco Evenepoel. Both were wearing the Tour-provided Santini leader’s jerseys.

For Sunday’s stage 21 time trial, the second of the Tour, creating Pogačar’s speed suit was a less stressful endeavor. And that’s because it was already made days in advance back at the company’s headquarters in Bergamo, Italy.

As I interviewed Monica during stage 18 of the Tour in Barcelonnette and asked about what the speed suit creation process will be like for riders like Pogačar who have already been fitted, she gestured to her bag.

She already had it with her, a clone of the stage 7 seed suit, ready to deliver.

Pogačar’s manager had been in Bergamo, where Santini is headquartered, and picked up the suit for her, dropping it off that morning. All that was left to do was a quick fitting session to confirm it fits correctly.

It was a calculated bet that Pogačar would still be in the yellow jersey in Nice based on his dominating performance thus far. It turns out to have been the right instinct. Pogačar enters stage 21 5:14 ahead of Jonas Vingegaard .

For riders who hadn’t been in the leader’s jersey for the first time trial, namely Richard Carapaz (EF Education-EasyPost) who took over the king of the mountains jersey after stage 19, the customization process was available as well before the stage.

Despite the likes of Pogačar and Jonas Vingegaard wearing these leader’s jerseys year after year, the Santini team can’t simply take the same suits from last year and recreate them for this year. The brand is constantly tinkering with its apparel, trying new fabrics, panel shapes, and more, so each year requires a new fitting session for the leaders.

What about non-time trial road stages?

In the grand scheme of the Tour, time trials are a small portion, making up just two of the 21 stages. Riders leading each competition get new Santini kit for all those other stages as well (with the exception of the first stage, before the leaders have been established).

When I ask Monica how much kit that is exactly, she has a simple answer: “ A lot .”

Jersey wearers are given a choice of different apparel options made by Santini, including different jerseys as well as combination jersey-bib suits somewhat akin to what they wear in time trials.

And they get a new one nearly every day. When other riders saw Pogačar in a mesh road suit on hot stages, they soon all were requesting the same, says Monica.

On top of that, they’re given a stack of 20 jerseys to do with what the please, gifts for family, friends, teammates, and sponsors.

Add to that one more jersey. Today, the race leaders will receive another piece of kit: their final ceremonial jerseys atop the podium in Nice.

Emmanuel Macron s'exprimera à 20h10 sur France 2 et Radio France. Alors qu’aucun gouvernement ne semble se dessiner à la suite des élections législatives, la parole présidentielle devrait être particulièrement écoutée.

Emmanuel Macron accordera mardi 23 juillet sa première interview depuis les législatives sur la situation politique du pays, au lendemain du renoncement à gauche de Laurence Tubiana face aux désaccords internes du Nouveau Front populaire et de la présentation par la droite d'un «pacte législatif d'urgence» pour empêcher le «blocage du pays» . Sorti de son silence trois jours après les élections législatives dans une lettre aux Français, il n'a pas pris la parole publiquement depuis le 7 juillet.

Le chef de l'État, qui a plaidé pour « une trêve politique » pendant les Jeux de Paris sera au 20 heures de France 2. L'occasion de s'exprimer sur les JO à trois jours de la cérémonie d'ouverture mais aussi sur «la situation politique française» , indique France TV dans un communiqué. Il sera interrogé par Thomas Sotto (France Télévisions) et Nathalie Iannetta (Radio France) et «reviendra sur la situation politique française et s'exprimera sur les Jeux Olympiques et Paralympiques de Paris 2024 à 3 jours de la cérémonie d'ouverture» , précise le communiqué.

L'interview aura lieu sur le plateau de France 2 sur la place du Trocadéro à Paris, dans le journal de 20h, et sera également diffusée en direct sur France Inter, Franceinfo canal 27, Franceinfo radio, Franceinfo.fr et France.tv. If you stay anything  more than 2 nights  in Santorini I highly recommend you do (at least) a 5 hr catamaran cruise. You really get the opportunity to see the island from a completely different perspective and if you love the sea you won’t be disappointed. The great thing about almost all catamaran tours in Santorini is that they offer food (amazing greek food…not just any food) and drinks on board! The  prices range from around 50 euros to 150-200 euros  depending on the food and the services (some of them can pick you up from your hotel).

5-Hour Small Group Catamaran Cruise

This is a must. If you don’t get to do a boat tour while in Santorini then it’s like you haven’t even been to the island. You get the opportunity to swim at the famous Santorini volcano hot springs, do some snorkeling and also taste seafood and fresh fish while on board. The crew is fantastic and this is one of the most value-for-money experiences you can get in Santorini. The Santorini Sunset Catamaran Red Cruise

This is another amazing catamaran sailing tour in Santorini. The tour is similar to the one above but the boat is probably more impressive and the vibe is funner. The fantastic crew will take you to the famous Red Beach and also to a secluded White Beach to swim and snorkel. However you don’t get fresh fish on the boat but a selection of greek delicacies. 1-Day Boat Trip: Santorini Volcano, Thirassia & Oia Sunset

Another really good tour to the volcano and also the small cute little island of Thirassia which was part of Santorini before the volcano erupted. Santorini wine and  Santorini wineries  are amazing.

You are really missing out if you are not visiting a winery in Santorini or if you don’t try (at least) the amazing Assyrtiko variety of dry white wine.

But apart from just tasting the incredible wine or visiting just one winery there are some really good tours that can take you to different wineries at once, while giving you the opportunity to do some wine tasting on…steroids! Also, in most of these tours you will also visit the famous Santorini Wine Museum .

But if you really don’t want to do that , then you can just hire a car and try to visit some  Santorini wineries  by yourself (just try not to drink too much and drive…).

You can also visit all of the other areas by yourself but it will just take more time to be honest. Google maps is always your friend!  You can find all the famous places ( Red Beach , White Beach, Akrotiri) with the GPS on Google Maps. Easy peasy!

We are Sergey and Simon, a Russian and a Frenchman, both  passionate about Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and classic cars. Together, we have created Put-in tours. Our goal is to help you experience Russian culture off the beaten path. Join us onboard our classic Soviet van and let’s get rolling!

In Moscow we offer you a city tour to discover most of the city in an original way as well as a night tour to admire the lights. Our pubcrawl is ideal to explore Moscow’s night-life and have fun. If you are craving to discover Russian culture, come impress your senses during our monastery diner or join our 100% Russian Banya Excursion . The latest will also bring you to Sergiyev Posad and it’s famous monastery!

For the most extreme travellers, our shooting tour will deliver your daily dose of adrenaline whereas our tank excursion will let you ride a real tank and shoot a bazooka.

We also offer help to receive your visa , safe and multilingual airport transfers , as well as organisation services for team-building events or bachelor parties .

All our excursions (but the monastery diner) happen onboard our Soviet military vans and can be covered by our  professionnal photographer or videographer.
