After finished, return to your Nile Cruise to relax or proceed with an extra tour to attend the sound & Light show at Karnak temple
Breakfast on board. Disembark from your Nile cruise after breakfast. Then, transfer to visit the west bank of the Nile in Luxor. Start to visit the two Colossi of Memnon, two gigantic statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III almost 18 meters tall and gazing eastward toward the rising sun.
Proceed to visit one of the most famous archeological sites in the world, the Valley of the Kings, used for royal burials for nearly 500 years. It was here that the bodies of great pharaohs such as Ramses II and Thutmose III were once laid to rest and where the mummified remains of the boy king Tutankhamun are still on display. Along the walls of the tombs in the Valley of the Kings, inscriptions from the Book of the Dead provided instructions on how the pharaohs could safely journey to the next world and avoid the dangers that lay on the way. You will visit three of the most well preserved tombs, also you will have time to visit Tutankhamun tomb (extra ticket on spot).
Continue to visit the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahri. Both the setting and the construction of the temple make it unique among the landmarks of Egypt. Queen Hatshepsut is considered by historians to have been one of the most successful rulers of ancient Egypt.

After you have enjoyed some time at this site, you will return to the ship, and it will then cruise to Qena where it will be docking for the night.
Enjoy lunch and dinner aboard the ship, and for entertainment this evening, there will a Contest Party on board. Tonight you will be sleeping in your cabin on the Nile at Qena.
DAY 10 – Qena Excursion and Cruise to Luxor
Your Nile Cruise from Cairo to Luxor will reach its final destination today, but before it the ship leaves Qena, you will first disembark for a visit to the amazing Dandarah Temple which is about a 20-minute drive away from where your cruise is tied up. Once everyone has returned to the cruise ship, it will then cruise to Luxor.
Enjoy a leisurely afternoon on the Nile while sailing. There will also be an authentic Egyptian Belly Dancing Show on board the ship today, and you will spend the night aboard the ship on the Nile in Luxor.
DAY 11 – Luxor West Bank Sightseeing
This will undoubtedly be one of the most memorable days of your Nile Cruise from Cairo to Luxor. After breakfast, you will disembark from the ship, and then you will be taken for a Luxor West Bank tour to visit and explore two of the top attractions on the West Bank: Valley of the Kings and the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
The Valley of Kings is a huge ancient royal necropolis where more than 60 tombs have been discovered, including the tomb of King Tutankhamen which was still sealed and intact when it was discovered by Howard Carter during the early 1920s. Several of the tombs are open to visitors, and your Nile cruise trip includes admission to some of them.
The Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut is equally as impressive, if not more so. This is a huge temple which was partly carved out of the surrounding bedrock, and it is today one of the most visited ancient monuments in the Egypt.
Enjoy some lunch and some free time for yourself when you get back to the cruise ship, and enjoy a good night’s sleep on the Nile at Luxor.
Meals Included: Breakfast Lunch and Dinner
DAY 12 – Luxor East Bank Sightseeing and Transfer to Cairo
Your Nile Cruise from Cairo to Luxor is almost over, but before you fly back to Cairo, you will be taken for one more unforgettable tour, this time to the East Bank. During this tour, you will visit two incredible ancient monuments: Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple.
Karnak is a massive archeological site with so much to see. What once started with the construction of a single temple, went on to become an actual temple city, a process which took place over a period spanning more than 2,000 years. Although only ruins remain today, it is easy to appreciate just how impressive this city must have been. It is one of the most visited ancient sites in the country, as is Luxor Temple which is only a short distance away.
After you have visited both these sites, you will return to your cruise ship for lunch, and then you will have to check-out and disembark. One of our tour managers will then escort you to Luxor Airport where you will board your flight to Cairo.
On arrival in Cairo, you will once again be met by a tour manager at Cairo Airport, and he will escort you to the hotel where you will be staying for the last night in Cairo and your last night in Egypt.
Meals Included: Breakfast and Lunch
DAY 13 – Nile Cruise Holiday Ends and Final Departure
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, and then at the appropriate time, your tour manager will meet you at the hotel and assist with check-out. After that, he will escort you to Cairo International Airport in time for you to board your flight out of Egypt.
Meals Included: Breakfast
