Mugshot Adam Hetke [Sabrina Hetke]

Adam Hetke, otherwise known as Sabrina Hetke, is a Wisconsin suspect in another murder who is accused of sexually assaulting a developmentally disabled teen after encountering her at a Waukesha gas station

The Waukesha Freeman reported that Hetke “identified as a vampire.”

In Waukesha County, The Freeman article says that Hetke was accused of the sexual assault of a “developmentally disabled teen.” Wisconsin court records show that a jury convicted Hetke on April 11 of two felony counts of first-degree sexual assault with use of a dangerous weapon and sexual assault of a mentally ill person. Sentencing is set for June 7.

The Freeman gave the suspect’s name as Adam “Sabrina” Hetke, 35, and described Hetke as a “transgender Waukesha woman.”

Hetke is also accused of homicide in Milwaukee County. Hetke, then known as “Morrigan,” is accused of bragging about murdering Special Olympian Vydale Thompson-Mooody in Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported . Hetke is accused of telling a witness about possessing the power to bring the victim back from the dead because “I’m the devil,” the Journal Sentinel reported.

The newspaper also reported that Hetke was accused of making comments about “removing demons from Thompson-Moody’s body” while strangling the victim. You can read the homicide criminal complaint in full here: Criminal Complaint_1 – Hetke, Adam; 2021CF003000; Hetke, Adam_15375194_1.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. Adam Hetke [Sabrina Hetke] Met the 16-Year-Old Girl at a Waukesha Gas Station & Threatened to Use a Knife During the Attack, Reports Say

Hetke is accused of sexually assaulting her under threat of a knife before she jumped out a bedroom window of a nearby home, the Freeman reported.

The complaint, according to the Freeman, said, “Victim A said that the defendant ‘told her that he was a vampire and that he would bite her if she didn’t do what he wanted.”

When police found Hetke, Hetke was “wearing a one-piece swimsuit” under clothing, the Freeman reported.

2. Waukesha Police Posted a ‘Sex Offender Information Bulletin’ About ‘Adam S. Hetke AKA Sabrina Hetke,’ Who Was Described as Having Tattoos of a Vampire Cross & Pentagram

adam hetke

Waukesha police Adam Hetke

The Waukesha Police Department, in October 2020, released a “sex offender information bulletin” about Hetke, identifying Hetke as “Adam S. Hetke AKA Sabrina Hetke.”

That alert says Hetke has tattoos that include a vampire cross and pentagram.

“Hetke was convicted in 2007 and 2019 for 2nd and 4th-degree sexual assault of female adult victims,” the alert says.

According to Waukesha police, at least at that time, Hetke was believed to be homeless.

“Hetke is transgender and identifies as Sabrina Hetke. Hetke is to have no unsupervised contact with minors, no taverns/bars//liquor stores, no contact with victims, and not to purchase/possess or consume alcohol or illegal drugs,” police wrote. “Hetke is to comply with sex offender rules and will be on discretionary GPS monitoring. Hetke is working on securing housing but is currently a mandatory release from prison and will be homeless.”

3. Adam Hetke Has an Open Charge of First-Degree Intentional Homicide in Milwaukee County, Records Show

The case was mired down in mental health concerns. “Case calendared for Return on Doctor Report this date. Defendant refused to be interviewed. Court orders Defendant transported to a facility designated by DHS,” reads a 2021 court entry. There was an order for a competency exam. In 2022, Hetke was found competent to proceed.

In multiple instances, the Milwaukee County hearings did not go forward when Waukesha County would not produce the defendant, the court records say. Hetke entered a plea of not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect. A jury trial was scheduled but has continued to be delayed.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article in 2021 reported that Thompson-Moody, “who lived with a cognitive disability, was strangled April 15” inside a Milwaukee home. He was strangled with an electrical cord, according to the Journal Sentinel.

4. Adam Hetke, Otherwise Known as Sabrina Hetke, Has a Long Criminal History in Wisconsin

Hetke has multiple open charges in Waukesha County of criminal damage to property, some dating to 2021, and a disorderly conduct forfeiture, Wisconsin court records show.

Hetke was convicted of fourth-degree sexual assault in Racine. A Brown County judge denied Hetke petition for a name change at one point.

In 2009, Hetke was convicted of throwing bodily fluids as a prisoner. In 2007, Hetke was convicted o f sexual assault by force in Waukesha County.

According to CBS 58 , in the 2007 incident, Hetke is accused of sexually assaulting “an adult female at a facility he was being housed at. He grabbed the victim inappropriately and attempted to remove her clothing, however, the victim was able to escape his grip and get away,” the television station reported.

The Journal Sentinel reported that it took two months for prosecutors to file homicide charges and Hetke was initially freed on administrative release.

5. Adam Hetke Has Used Various Aliases Over the Years, Including ‘Black Dragon,’ Records Show

Affidavit: Details emerge in bitter custody battle between Kansas woman, 'God's Misfits'

adam travel mugshot

A grandmother who served as a county Republican Party chair and allegedly belonged to an anti-government religious group is accused of purchasing five stun guns and three burner phones in the weeks leading up to her arrest in connection with the kidnapping and deaths of two Kansas women.

In Texas County District Court, Tifany Machel Adams, 54, of Keyes, is charged with  two counts of first-degree murder , two counts of kidnapping and one count of conspiracy to commit murder in the deaths of Veronica Butler, 27, and Jilian Kelley, 39.

The two women went missing March 30 when Butler's car was found abandoned in rural Texas County, Oklahoma — near Highway 95 and Road L, just south of Elkhart, Kansas, and the Oklahoma/Kansas border.

Investigators say Adams was embroiled in a custody battle with Butler.

Adams, the mother of Butler’s former romantic partner, believed Butler’s brother was abusing the couple's 8- and 6-year-old children, according to court documents in a prolonged custody dispute.

Butler was granted court-ordered visitation every Saturday, and because her usual supervisor was unavailable on the day of her disappearance, another supervisor, Kelley, went with Butler to pick up her kids from Adams.

When Butler’s family didn’t hear from her later, they called police.

On Monday, the two women were confirmed dead.

Two bodies were recovered in rural Texas County Sunday , and the Oklahoma chief medical examiner's office is still working to identify the bodies. However, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokesperson Hunter McKee said there is no hope that Butler and Kelley are still alive.

Facing the same charges are Adams' boyfriend, Tad Bert Cullum, 43, of Keyes, as well as Cole Earl Twombly, 50, and Cora Twombly, 44, each of Texhoma. It is unclear whether the four have obtained an attorney, according to online court records.

The OSBI discovered that Adams, Cullum, Cole Twombly and Cora Twombly belong to an anti-government group called “God’s Misfits” that held regular meetings, according to a probable cause affidavit for an arrest warrant.

Adams served as the chair for the Cimarron County GOP, state Republican leaders said.

Disappearance coincides with custody battle

Court documents show Adams and Butler were engaged in a bitter custody battle involving Butler’s two young children. The father of the children is Wrangler Rickman, Adams’ 26-year-old son.

On the day of Butler's disappearance, Adams had been taking care of the children and Butler planned to pick them up at Four Corners near Highway 95 and US-64 in Texas County to take her daughter to a birthday party. When they did not arrive, the family began looking for Butler.

In an interview with the OSBI, Adams allegedly said she was at home at the time Butler and Kelley went missing. She called Butler to confirm the pickup of the children, but Butler said something came up and she wasn’t going to make it, according to the probable cause affidavit.

However, investigators say, Butler was in Hugoton, Kansas, and in the process of picking Kelley up to go meet Adams.

Adams is also alleged to have told one of her visitation supervisors to take a couple of weeks off so Adams could question the children about Butler’s visitation supervisors.

Adams was the last known person to communicate with Butler, and Adams was scheduled to meet Butler and Kelley for visitation at 10 a.m. on March 30, an OSBI agent wrote in the affidavit.

Butler and Kelley's phone records indicated their devices were actively sending signals to their carriers until about 9:42 a.m., after which the devices were no longer seen by the networks and stopped transmitting.

Neither phone was found at the scene or within the vehicle.

When the vehicle was located in rural Texas County, authorities reported blood and Butler's glasses were found in the roadway near a broken hammer. A pistol magazine was found inside Kelley's purse at the scene, but no pistol was found.

Series of death threats preceded disappearance, investigators say

The child custody dispute at times turned threatening, according to OSBI investigators.

Recordings obtained by investigators allegedly reveal Rickman discussing death threats made by Adams and her boyfriend, Cullum, one of the accused in the slaying case.

The custody battle started in 2019. In March this year, motions were filed requesting extended visitation for Butler.

A hearing was scheduled to occur on April 17. Butler's attorney informed the OSBI that Butler was likely to receive unsupervised visitation with her children.

At times, Adams refused to let Rickman have his children, even though Rickman had legal custody of them, according to investigators. Law enforcement previously responded to a call for service where Adams refused to give Rickman his children.

Rickman's grandmother, Debi Knox-Davis, reported that in February, Rickman told her they didn't have to worry about the custody battle much longer because Adams had it under control.

Rickman is alleged to have told her that Adams knew the path the judge walked to work, and "we will take out Veronica [Butler] at drop off." Rickman denied having that conversation with Knox, according to investigators.

Rickman was confirmed to be in a rehabilitation facility in Oklahoma City at the time of Butler and Kelley’s disappearance.

Taser pain level, prepaid cell phones in search history

On April 1, OSBI agents obtained a search warrant for Adams’ cell phone.

They allege that the phone showed internet searches for Taser pain level, gun shops, prepaid cellular phones and how to get someone out of their house.

OSBI investigators say Adams purchased three prepaid cell phones from WalMart in Guymon on Feb. 3. All three phones were at the area where Butler's car was located and the last known location of Butler and Kelley at the time of their disappearance, according to the OSBI.

A search of local gun shops showed Adams bought five stun guns at Big R Stores in Guymon on March 23, investigators say.

OSBI: Teen witness reports conversations about homicide

On April 3, OSBI investigators interviewed a 16-year-old daughter of Cora Twombly.

The teen told investigators she overheard group conversations about Butler allegedly not protecting her children from abuse at the hands of Butler’s brother.

The mother told her daughter of her involvement in the homicides, and that the others who were later arrested were also involved, the witness allegedly told OSBI.

The girl also told investigators she saw two burner phones charging on her mother’s nightstand in her bedroom.

Investigators later learned of two burner phones left below a dam near a rural property in Texas County where it was discovered that a hole had been dug and filled back in and then covered with hay.

The night before Butler and Kelley went missing, the girl told investigators that Cora Twombly said she and Twombly’s husband, Cole, would not be home in the morning when she woke up because they were going on a “mission.”

They returned home in a blue and gray pickup and blue flatbed pickup.

The daughter was told to clean the interior of the blue and gray pickup and that things had “not gone as planned,” according to the affidavit.

According to OSBI investigators, she was told that her mother and her mother’s husband blocked the road to stop Butler and Kelley and divert them to where Adams, Cullum and another man, who has not been arrested, were located.

Asked if the bodies of Butler and Kelley were put in a well, her mother allegedly told her daughter: “Something like that.”

The girl also claimed other attempts on Butler’s life were made in February.

Near Hugoton, Kansas, the four charged, along with another man not arrested, planned to “throw an anvil through Butler's windshield while driving, making it look like an accident because anvils regularly fall off of work vehicles,” according to the affidavit.

All four defendants remain in the Texas County jail without bond.

23-year-old man has extensive criminal background, records show.

Mary Claire Patton , Digital Journalist

SAN ANTONIO – A man has been arrested on two first-degree felony aggravated robbery charges after police say he robbed a San Antonio store with a handgun.

On April 1, Adam Byrd, 23, entered the store armed with a handgun and pointed the weapon at two employees before demanding money from the registers, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

Recommended Videos

San Antonio police did not identify the location or name of the store where the robbery occurred.

Police said the victims gave Byrd money from the registers before he ran from the location.

According to the affidavit, Byrd was a regular customer at the store and had caused multiple disturbances at the location in the past.

Byrd is being held at Bexar County Jail on two bonds totaling $150,000.

Bexar County court records show Byrd has an extensive criminal history with charges dating back to 2018.

His past charges include evading arrest, drug possession, assault, discharging a firearm in a populated area and terroristic threats.

Criminalizing Homelessness Won’t Make It Go Away

Supported by

By Mark Horvath ,  Adam Westbrook and Lindsay Crouse

Mr. Horvath started the YouTube channel Invisible People. Mr. Westbrook is a producer and editor with Opinion Video. Ms. Crouse is a producer with Opinion Video.

If you live in one of America’s cities, you probably see homeless people all the time. You might pass them on your way to work. Maybe you avoid eye contact. If they ask you for money, maybe you pretend you didn’t hear, and walk on by.

But what if you stopped and listened to what they have to say?

As you’ll see in the Opinion video above, you might find their stories of landing on the streets strikingly relatable. Such accounts reveal a hard truth about our country: Amid an affordable housing crisis, where 70 percent of all extremely low-income families today pay more than half their income on rent, becoming homeless is easier than we’d like to think.

That’s what Mark Horvath discovered firsthand in 1995, when he lost his job and wound up homeless for eight years. He started interviewing people on the street in 2008, and began sharing those stories on his YouTube channel, Invisible People . He wanted to try to help viewers who might ignore their homeless neighbors see them not with scorn, or indifference, but empathy.

These stories are even more important today, as a record number of people experience homelessness and face increasing threats from the law. On April 22, the Supreme Court is set to hear the case of Johnson v. Grants Pass, the most significant case in decades about homeless people’s rights. The case will determine whether cities can arrest or fine the homeless — even if there’s no other shelter. As the homeless plaintiffs wrote, this would be “punishing the city’s involuntarily homeless residents for their existence.”

Every homeless person’s path is complicated, and in this video, we haven’t remotely captured anyone’s whole story. Yes, some are addicts, some are mentally ill, some have made unwise choices, and some are simply unlucky. Some are many of those things. But all of them argue that in the hardest moment of their lives, they have been largely abandoned, and even punished, by the rest of us. So we hope you’ll do more than dismiss, or judge, the people in this video, and instead listen to them.

Damian Lillard’s estranged wife had jokes about GloRilla’s DUI arrest in Gwinnett County, Ga., on Tuesday — two months after the Memphis rapper expressed interest in the Bucks’ star guard.

In a post shared Wednesday on her Instagram Stories, Kay’La re-shared a photo of GloRilla’s apparent mugshot with the caption: “FreeGloLillard” and a crying laughing emoji.

The conversation around GloRilla and Lillard — who filed for divorce Oct. 2, 2023, after two years of marriage — began during the NBA All-Star festivities earlier this year.

Twelve People Charged in Two Indictments Following Investigation of Drug Trafficking Ring

adam travel mugshot

From the United States Department of Justice:

Seattle – Twelve people are in custody today following a second round of arrests in an investigation involving armed drug trafficking, announced Acting U.S. Attorney Tessa M. Gorman.  The indictments and arrests today are a follow-up to the April 7, 2021 takedown involving 24 defendants.  Most of those arrested today will appear in U.S. District Court in Seattle and Tacoma this afternoon. “Even after the arrest of 24 defendants in April, law enforcement pursued the higher-level sources of the drugs that were distributed in our community,” said Acting U.S. Attorney Tessa M. Gorman.  “I am pleased that prosecutors in our office and law enforcement officers continued to work up the chain of this trafficking organization making large drug seizures and taking guns off the street.” “Over the course of two years, more than 250 FBI employees have contributed to this investigation to fight back against this widespread drug-dealing conspiracy,” said Donald M. Voiret, FBI Special Agent in Charge of the Seattle Field Office. “I am incredibly proud of the hard work of my office and our partners to remove dozens of firearms and toxic drugs such as fentanyl and cocaine from our communities.” “The recent rise of violent crime – specifically crimes involving the trafficking of firearms and illegal drugs – is of great concern to the Seattle Police Department, which is why the SPD values its partnerships with federal and local law enforcement agencies. By working together, we increase our ability to arrest dangerous offenders, get them off our streets, and weapons out of their hands,” said Seattle Police Chief Adrian Diaz. “Our joint efforts lead to the detention of 24 defendants in April. Today, we’re announcing the arrests of 12 more. Not only are these dozens of suspects off the streets, but so are dangerous narcotics, including fentanyl tablets and the tools to manufacture them. Our communities have been devastated by a recent rise in fentanyl deaths and continue to be devasted by on-going gun violence. The SPD is certain these joint efforts saved lives, and we’re gratified the many months of hard work by our officers and partners paid off.” During the course of the investigation, law enforcement seized 84 firearms, including stolen firearms and ghost guns, 16 kilos of cocaine and about 50-thousand fentanyl tainted pills.

adam travel mugshot

In one traffic stop in January 2021 on I-5 they seized 6 kilos of cocaine that defendant Arambula was bringing back from southern California. In all, law enforcement has seized more than $1 million in cash.  They also seized a pill press used for manufacturing fentanyl tainted pills, three pounds of methamphetamine and some heroin. Today alone officers seized 48 guns, 2 kilograms of cocaine, 2 pounds of methamphetamine, several thousand fentanyl pills and two illegal marijuana grows.  An additional $120,000 cash was also seized. Those indicted in this round include: Cresencio Moreno Aguirre, 41 of Kent, Washington David William Armer, 41, Spanaway, Washington Samuel Duarte Avila, 47, of Renton, Washington Elyas Mohamed Kerow, 27, of Seattle Brett David Radcliff, 21, of Puyallup, Washington Sergio Reyes-Pina, 39, of Seattle Herbert Dean Scott Jr., 49, of Burien, Washington Rafael Ramirez, 49, Pacific, Washington Cesar Arambula, 39, of Kent, Washington Raul Barreto Bejines, 50, of Redmond, Washington Jorge Aguilar Duran, 42, Issaquah, Washington Viet Phi Nguyen, 34, of Seattle Two people were arrested this morning who are being charged separately by criminal complaint.  Two of the indicted defendants are still being sought by law enforcement. Earlier this month, a 13 th defendant was arrested and indicted Kendle Hawkins, 31, of Goodyear, Arizona was arrested June 14, 2021 with 50,000 fentanyl tainted pills, five firearms and two silencers. “This investigation has removed a large number of firearms and narcotics from the hands of violent drug traffickers operating throughout the Seattle Metropolitan area,” said DEA Special Agent in Charge Frank Tarantino.  “The violence spike in our communities is a clear and present danger to public safety and is a top priority for DEA and our law enforcement partners.  For those wreaking havoc in our streets and perpetuating violence, you will be held accountable.” The charges contained in the indictment are only allegations.  A person is presumed innocent unless and until he or she is proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. This effort is part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) operation.  OCDETF identifies, disrupts, and dismantles the highest-level criminal organizations that threaten the United States using a prosecutor-led, intelligence-driven, multi-agency approach.  Additional information about the OCDETF Program can be found at  www.justice.gov/OCDETF The investigation was led by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force with key participation by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Seattle Police Gang and Narcotics Units, Homeland Security Investigation (HSI), and Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI). Today’s arrests and searches involved teams from FBI, DEA, Seattle Police Department, HSI, Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, King County Sheriff’s Office, Valley SWAT, Kent Police Department, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (ATF), and Narcotics/Currency/Firearms K9 support from Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Centralia Police Department, Auburn Police Department, Renton Police Department, King County Sheriff’s Office, and Tacoma Police Department. A 24-year-old man has been charged with murdering his friend in the South Carolina woods and leaving the decomposing body for local children to find.

David Adam Pate, whose intimidating mugshot has been widely shared online, is thought to have led his friend Ricky James into woodland close to the town of Lancaster sometime in October.

Detectives believe Pate subsequently killed the 33-year-old, covering his corpse with tree branches and fallen leaves. Mr James’ badly-decomposed body was found by schoolchildren playing in the woods over the weekend.

Officers say they immediately suspected Pate – who was already in custody as a result of a disorderly conduct charge two weeks ago – but were forced to wait for the results of an autopsy before they could charge him with murder. They admitted that they have not yet established a motive for the crime.

According to WBTV.com , Sheriff Barry Faile said: “Our deepest condolences go out to the family of Mr James. We are thankful that we were able to solve this case so quickly”.

He added: “Our investigators did a great job putting this case together. We suspected Pate almost immediately but had to wait on lab results to prove it. We are thankful he is in jail where he belongs.”

Following Pate’s arrest and the release of his police mugshot, a number of people took to social media to comment on the murder suspect’s menacing appearance.

Pate’s tongue appears to be surgically split in two resembling a snake, and his face is covered in amateurish tattoos - including the words ‘Satan’ above his right eyebrow, ‘fear’ on his right eyelid and the numbers ‘974’ on his throat. 974 is a number said to be strongly linked to the US-based street and prison gang Gangster Disciples.

In the mugshot, Pate pokes his tongue and appears to be smirking, while several other facial tattoos are visible.

In the centre of his forehead is an ‘S’ symbol that resembles the logo of the heavy metal band Slipknot, next to his left eye is a St George’s cross with two black teardrops, next to his right eye is a faded sun or spider symbol, and around his mouth there are more uncoloured teardrop tattoos.

What are Mugshots?

Mugshots have been part of the United States criminal identification archival system for a long time. Since the 1850s, different police departments across the country publicly displayed the photographs of the criminals or absconders for discouraging and preventing criminal activities.

The law enforcement agencies of different states are now uploading these mugshots as part of criminal records of the new arrestees on their websites.

Findmugshots.com is a completely free service to search for arrest mugshots without the trouble of searching for an arrested person or their arrested charge. If you have an inquiry about an arrest charge or probation charge, Findmugshots.com has all the information along with the police photograph of the individual you are searching.

Find Mugshots presents information that is sourced from records made freely and publicly available by your state and local law enforcement department every single day.

Find Mugshots collects thousands of arrest records and criminal charges a day, from crimes such as possession of a controlled substance, theft, or sexual assault. Our current database has over 1 billion records.

Find Mugshots is completely free of charge, our goal is to provide you with the most recent and even historic mugshots and arrest information. You may want to use our partners for additional information about a person or the specific arrest record.

Before the introduction of the internet, mugshots were either published in the local newspaper or distributed as flyers. The inherent deficiency of this information distribution system is its limited reach. These cannot be accessed or transferred easily. With the introduction of the internet, these mugshots of the arrestee were now available on the Sheriff's office website of different counties across the country.

Dark past of Harmony Montgomery’s father who was jailed for shooting man in head & has teardrop & Pennywise tattoo

HARMONY Montgomery's father was previously jailed for shooting a man in the head as his recent mugshot showed him with a teardrop and Pennywise neck tattoo.

Adam Montgomery, 31, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with felony second-degree assault stemming from an alleged attack against Harmony , 7, in 2019.

Harmony Montgomery was reported missing in December 2021, despite being last seen in October 2019

Adam is also facing a misdemeanor charge of interference with custody and two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

As Adam remained in police custody on Wednesday, his dark past has come to light after his young daughter was reported missing in December 2021 - two years after she was last seen .

During a Monday news conference, Manchester’s police chief discussed how Harmony was involved with child welfare agencies in New Hampshire and Massachusetts .

According to the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families records obtained by Boston25News , Harmony was bounced between her mother’s care and DCF for much of her young life.

The young girl was placed in the custody of her father Adam in 2019 when she was roughly five years old.

“Custody of Harmony was returned to her father in February 2019. Once Harmony was returned to her father’s care/custody, her involvement with the Department ended as she does not live in Massachusetts,” records obtained by the outlet reportedly state.

The records also state Adam was incarcerated during some of Harmony’s life before that.

VIOLENT PAST

Dating back to 2007, Adam's charges in New Hampshire range from burglary, first-degree assault to stalking.

In January 2014, the 31-year-old was charged with armed robbery and assault with intent to murder in Haverhill, Massachusetts.

Adam shot a man in the head during a drug deal, police records state.

A the time of his arraignment, a Haverhill District Court judge ordered Adam to be held without bail and considered him too much of a danger to the public if released.

Charges were later reduced, but he served time in connection with the incident.

According to Boston25, Harmony's mother also has a criminal history in Massachusetts and DCF has been involved with her for many years.

However, it is unclear whether the mother had contact with Harmony since Adam was given custody.

Mystery shrouds the missing child case of Harmony, who hasn't been seen since October 2019 when cops were called to a home in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Harmony Montgomery was last seen in Manchester, New Hampshire

But her disappearance wasn't reported until two years later - the last week of December 2021.

Harmony is described as being 4 feet tall and weighing around 50 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes and wears glasses and is blind in her right eye.

During a late Monday afternoon press conference, Manchester Police Chief Allen Aldenberg said detectives "are running on fumes but working around the clock" to find Harmony.

"I'm in rescue mode. We are not in a recovery operation," Aldenberg said.

Peter stolypin.

Peter Stolypin

Peter Stolypin was born in Dresden on 14th April, 1862. The son of a large Russian landowner, Stolypin joined the Ministry of State Domains in 1885. Four years later he was appointed marshal of Kovno province. This was followed by the governorships of Grodno (1902-1903) and Saratov (1903-1906). Stolypin's draconian measures in suppressing the peasants in 1905 made him notorious. (1)

Chief Minister, Sergi Witte , advised Tsar Nicholas II to introduce political reforms following the 1905 Revolution. The Tsar reluctantly agreed and publish details of the proposed reforms that became known as the October Manifesto . This granted freedom of conscience, speech, meeting and association. He also promised that in future people would not be imprisoned without trial. Finally it announced that no law would become operative without the approval of the State Duma . It has been pointed out that "Witte sold the new policy with all the forcefulness at his command". He also appealed to the owners of the newspapers in Russia to "help me to calm opinions". (2)

The first meeting of the Duma took place in May 1906. A British journalist, Maurice Baring , described the members taking their seats on the first day: "Peasants in their long black coats, some of them wearing military medals... You see dignified old men in frock coats, aggressively democratic-looking men with long hair... members of the proletariat... dressed in the costume of two centuries ago... There is a Polish member who is dressed in light-blue tights, a short Eton jacket and Hessian boots... There are some socialists who wear no collars and there is, of course, every kind of headdress you can conceive." (3)

Several changes in the composition of the Duma had been changed since the publication of the October Manifesto . Nicholas II had also created a State Council, an upper chamber, of which he would nominate half its members. He also retained for himself the right to declare war, to control the Orthodox Church and to dissolve the Duma. The Tsar also had the power to appoint and dismiss ministers. At their first meeting, members of the Duma put forward a series of demands including the release of political prisoners, trade union rights and land reform. The Tsar rejected these proposals and dissolved the Duma in July, 1906. (4)

In April, 1906, Tsar Nicholas II forced Sergi Witte to resign and asked the more conservative Stolypin to take the post. At first he refused but the Tsar insisted: "Let us make the sign of the Cross over ourselves and let us ask the Lord to help us both in this difficult, perhaps historic moment." Stolypin told Bernard Pares that he was against the idea of a democratically elected Duma: "an assembly representing the majority of the population would never work". (5)

Stolypin attempted to provide a balance between the introduction of much needed land reforms and the suppression of the radicals. In October, 1906, Stolypin introduced legislation that enabled peasants to have more opportunity to acquire land. They also got more freedom in the selection of their representatives to the Zemstvo (local government councils). "By avoiding confrontation with peasant representatives in the Duma, he was able to secure the privileges attached to nobles in local government and reject the idea of confiscation." (6)

Peter Stolypin and the Duma

However, he also introduced new measures to repress disorder and terrorism. On 25 August 1906, three assassins wearing military uniforms, bombed a public reception Stolypin was holding at his home on Aptekarsky Island. Stolypin was only slightly injured, but 28 others were killed. Stolypin's 15-year-old daughter had both legs broken and his 3-year-old son also had injuries. The Tsar suggested that the Stolypin family moved into the Winter Palace for protection. (7)

Elections for the Second Duma took place in 1907. Peter Stolypin, used his powers to exclude large numbers from voting. This reduced the influence of the left but when the Second Duma convened in February, 1907, it still included a large number of reformers. After three months of heated debate, Nicholas II closed down the Duma on the 16th June, 1907. He blamed Lenin and his fellow-Bolsheviks for this action because of the revolutionary speeches that they had been making in exile. (8)

Peter Stolypin

Members of the moderate Constitutional Democrat Party (Kadets) were especially angry about this decision. The leaders, including Prince Georgi Lvov and Pavel Milyukov , travelled to Vyborg, a Finnish resort town, in protest of the government. Milyukov drafted the Vyborg Manifesto . In the manifesto, Milyukov called for passive resistance, non-payment of taxes and draft avoidance. Stolypin took revenge on the rebels and "more than 100 leading Kadets were brought to trial and suspended from their part in the Vyborg Manifesto." (9)

Law and Order

Stolypin's repressive methods created a great deal of conflict. Lionel Kochan , the author of Russia in Revolution (1970), pointed out: "Between November 1905 and June 1906, from the ministry of the interior alone, 288 persons were killed and 383 wounded. Altogether, up to the end of October 1906, 3,611 government officials of all ranks, from governor-generals to village gendarmes, had been killed or wounded." (10) Stolypin told his friend, Bernard Pares , that "in no country is the public more anti-governmental than in Russia". (11)

The Russian government considered Germany to be the main threat to its territory. This was reinforced by Germany's decision to form the Triple Alliance . Under the terms of this military alliance, Germany , Austria-Hungary and Italy agreed to support each other if attacked by either France or Russia . Although Germany was ruled by the Tsar's cousin, Kaiser Wilhelm II , he accepted the views of his ministers and in 1907 agreed that Russia should joined Britain and France to form the Triple Entente .

Peter Stolypin instituted a new court system that made it easier for the arrest and conviction of political revolutionaries. In the first six months of their existence the courts passed 1,042 death sentences. It has been claimed that over 3,000 suspects were convicted and executed by these special courts between 1906 and 1909. As a result of this action the hangman's noose in Russia became known as "Stolypin's necktie". (12)

Peter Stolypin now made changes to the electoral law. This excluded national minorities and dramatically reduced the number of people who could vote in Poland, Siberia, the Caucasus and in Central Asia. The new electoral law also gave better representation to the nobility and gave greater power to the large landowners to the detriment of the peasants . Changes were also made to the voting in towns and now those owning their own homes elected over half the urban deputies.

In 1907 Stolypin introduced a new electoral law, by-passing the 1906 constitution, which assured a right-wing majority in the Duma . The Third Duma met on 14th November 1907. The former coalition of Socialist-Revolutionaries , Mensheviks , Bolsheviks , Octobrists and Constitutional Democrat Party , were now outnumbered by the reactionaries and the nationalists. Unlike the previous Dumas, this one ran its full-term of five years.

Assassination of Stolypin

The revolutionaries were now determined to assassinate Stolypin and there were several attempts on his life. "He wore a bullet-proof vest and surrounded himself with security men - but he seemed to expect nevertheless that he would eventually die violently." The first line of his will, written shortly after he had become Prime Minister, read: "Bury me where I am assassinated." (13)

Dmitri Bogrov assassinating Peter Stolypin on 18th September, 1911

On 14th September, 1911, Peter Stolypin was shot by Dmitri Bogrov , a member of the Socialist Revolutionary Party , at the Kiev Opera House. Nicholas II was with him at the time: "During the second interval we had just left the box, as it was so hot, when we heard two sounds as if something had been dropped. I thought an opera glass might have fallen on somebody's head and ran back into the box to look. To the right I saw a group of officers and other people. They seemed to be dragging someone along. Women were shrieking and, directly in front of me in the stalls, Stolypin was standing. He slowly turned his face towards me and with his left hand made the sign of the Cross in the air. Only then did I notice he was very pale and that his right hand and uniform were bloodstained. He slowly sank into his chair and began to unbutton his tunic. People were trying to lynch the assassin. I am sorry to say the police rescued him from the crowd and took him to as isolated room for his first examination." (14)

Peter Stolypin died from his injuries on 18th September, 1911. He was the sixth Minister of the Interior in a row to be assassinated.

Stolypin began to look for an excuse to dissolve the Duma and the Bolsheviks furnished him with one. Lenin insisted that the deputies use their parliamentary immunity to agitate for an armed uprising. Years later it was discovered that these secret Bolshevik cells were infested with agents of the secret police. By keeping a sharp eye on the Social Democratic deputies, these stool pigeons were able to frame the deputies on the charges of inciting rebellion, thus giving Stolypin his excuse.

I kept the archives of the revolutionary organization in the Army; I was present at all the district meetings, propaganda rallies, and party conferences; I was always in the know. All the information I gathered was conscientiously reported to the Okhrana.

What a distressing feeling! Not to speak of the loss for Russia, I feel a personal bereavement. I was under the charm of this man. I delighted in him, I was proud to think that he was satisfied with my work. When I said goodbye to him on 6th September after the Cabinet meeting, as usual I tried to catch his eye. He stood by his chair, tall and upright, and his fine face looked healthy and tanned. It was on the 9th September that for the last time I heard his manly voice on the telephone.
