Free No Reservation Necessary

Come by any of the locations listed above for an awesome FREE flat tire clinic! Have a seat and observe or bring your iPad and take notes or even bring in your bike for a little hands-on! Whatever you choose, this is is a great informative seminar on how to fix your flat tire while on the road. Stay afterwards for an open question and answer period with our experienced technician.

It includes:

  • How to take out your wheel from the bike
  • How to remove the tire and tube
  • How to check for what caused the flat
  • How to use a CO2 inflator
  • How to reinstall your tube, tire, and wheel

The Trek Store West Phoenix is happy to join up with the West Valley Cycle Group for their Saturday and Sunday group rides.  The rides meet at the Lifetime Fitness in Goodyear, about a mile west of the shop location on McDowell Road. Please refer to the West Valley Cycle Group website for more info or stop into the store and ask us!

The 2024 Trek Across Maine

THE 40th ANNUAL TREK ACROSS MAINE: Join the American Lung Association for the 39th annual Trek Across Maine on Father’s Day Weekend – June 14-16, 2024. Choose our traditional 3-day, 180-mile option, or do it on your own virtually! The ride will start and end at Thomas Point Beach & Campground in Brunswick. Overnight stops at Bates College in Lewiston and St. Joseph’s College in Standish provide a place to rest and relax after each leg of the Trek. Activities, entertainment and food are all a part of the full Trek experience at each location. This ride is fully supported by volunteers and local and state law enforcement, including support vehicles along the route and three rest stops daily.

VIRTUAL OPTION – for those that can’t get away, but still want to raise money and support the American Lung Association! Record your miles virtually and raise your minimum by June 30, 2024, to earn your commemorative t-shirt and medal!

VOLUNTEER WITH US! We are always looking for volunteers to help us support the Trek Across Maine. We have many volunteer opportunities available. Please contact Becca at 207.624.0308 or [email protected] for more information.

ROUTE OPTIONS:

Day 1: Thomas Point Beach and Campground to Bates College in Lewiston (approx. 60 mi) – 3 rest stops located on route

Day 2: Bates to Saint Joseph’s College in Standish (approx. 60 mi) – 3 rest stops located on route

Day 3: Saint Joseph’s College to Thomas Point Beach and Campground (approx. 60 mi) – 3 rest stops located on route & last mile team gathering stop at Flight Deck Brewing.

NOTE: Although we try to be consistent, mileage may vary from year to year depending on local and state construction projects.

Virtual Option:

Date: Anytime through June 30, 2024

Mileage: Choose your own mileage challenge!

Location: Ride in your community or in your home on your exercise bike, you choose! Join the Trek tradition…. virtually!

Fundraising Minimum: $250 due by June 30, 2024

Age Limit: 7 years and Up

FEES & FUNDRAISING:

Registration is a $40 fee. This is non-refundable & non-transferable. The registration fee does not count toward your fundraising minimum.

3 Day Fundraising: $550 per person ($400 for ages 7 -17)**

Virtual Fundraising: $250 per person (including ages 7-17)**

** Fundraising must be submitted before the start of the ride, or you will not be able allowed to ride**

**Virtual fundraising must be submitted before June 30, or you will not receive your commemorative t-shirt and medal**

**Please note: Age Limit is 7 years and up. Children between the ages of 7 – 12 must ride a tandem or tag-a-long bike with an adult guardian.
