Long Beach Cruise Terminal Information
Last updated on September 16th, 2023 at 03:33 pm
Located adjacent to the iconic Queen Mary, Long Beach's cruise terminal offers a lively departure point for cruises to Mexico, Hawaii, and beyond. Experience the city's coastal charm, visit the Aquarium of the Pacific, or relax on the beautiful beaches before your voyage.
The Long Beach Cruise Terminal is located 231 Windsor Place, Long Beach, CA 90802, USA.
FYI: There are two cruise ports in Los Angeles – the World Cruise Center in San Pedro and Carnival’s Long Beach cruise terminal in Long Beach. See here for information on San Pedro Cruise Terminal .
The Long Beach Cruise Terminal, known as the “Dome” is located right beside the Queen Mary – Cunard’s grand ship that has been permanently docked and turned into a hotel (currently closed and undergoing renovations). When coming off the highway, follow the signs for the Queen Mary, General Parking. It branches off with a sign to the cruise terminal once you reach the main gate.
Parking is available onsite at the Long Beach Cruise Terminal ( click here for details ), but there are many Long Beach hotels with Park and Cruise packages.
If you’re flying into LAX or Long Beach airport, click here for different transportation options.
Carnival Cruises from Long Beach Cruise Terminal
Carnival sails a few ships out of the Long Beach Terminal, to destinations in Mexico, Hawaii and Alaska.
The Carnival Radiance, Panorama and Miracle are homeported in Long Beach for 2023. The new Carnival Firenze, which was previously a Costa ship, will be sailing out of Long Beach in 2024.
Long Beach Cruise Terminal Tips
Long Beach Cruise Terminal is owned and operated by Carnival Cruise Lines and is a smaller port, so getting from shore to ship is a fairly smooth process.
When it comes to accessibility, the Long Beach cruise terminal doesn’t provide wheelchairs if needed. If mobility is an issue, there is seating available while waiting to board, or it’s advised to contact Carnival in advance to arrange a wheelchair at the port.

Long Beach/Los Angeles Weather
The Long Beach Cruise Terminal is located in the Los Angeles area and enjoys warm weather all year, which makes any time a great time to visit. Late summer is especially suitable for beach visits, when the water is spectacularly warm. Keep in mind that the smog tends to be thickest during the summer months, and the autumn and winter can be a bit nippy due to the Santa Ana winds.

Get to Know Carnival Panorama
There just isn’t enough vacation time to do everything, so we go for the widest variety, make the most of the moments... and above all, try to have the most fun whenever possible. All of you with the heads nodding, hands raised, folks who just stood up and cheered at the office — you’re Carnival Panorama’s people! This ship packs all the best, most delicious fun from her sister ships Carnival Vista ® and Carnival Horizon ® , but still manages to stand out. One example: it’s easy to stand out when you’re literally flying, and Carnival Panorama has the only Sky Zone ™ trampoline park you’ll find at sea. This spot gives a whole new meaning to leaving the land behind, so lose the shoes and gain some air with gravity-defying dodgeball sessions or slam-dunk basketball experiences. That’s not the only way to catch some air, either, because this ship also features SkyRide ® , a pedal-powered suspended bike experience that’ll have you enjoying wide, breezy views of the ocean. Plus there’s a ropes course, mini-golf and WaterWorks ™ waterpark, of course! It’s not all action, though, because relaxation options like Cloud 9 Spa ™ and Serenity Adult-Only Retreat ™ are on the menu. Great dining is too, with choices that range from the refined fare of Bonsai Teppanyaki ™ and Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse to come-as-hungry-as-you-are classics like BlueIguana Cantina ™ , Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse | Brewhouse and Seafood Shack ™ . (And at Guy’s, the brews are as fresh as the food, all of which are made on board.) Havana Bar & Pool are there to give you a bit of that “90 miles south” flavor and flair, with matching stateroom options that keep you close to the action all cruise long. There’s traditional Carnival fun too, and these fan-favorites are great news for everybody! Three age-perfect youth programs keep kids busy having a blast with their peers, while Playlist Productions ™ take songs you know and make high-energy crowd-pleasing shows out of them. Dive-In Movies makes a big production out of the big screen over the pool, plus The Punchliner Comedy Club ™ features family-friendly shows… and, uh, late-night shows for after the kids go to bed.
