Brit Floyd, amazing venue, lovely night, great crowd, terrible beer and wine attendents.... But you don't want to hear ab9it that. Brit Floyd was spot on with their song choices and their talent to play Pink Floyd. I would see them again and again. If you never experienced Pink Floyd go see Brit Floyd or Aussie Floyd...... Amazing musicians and incredible voices. Eva Avila is amazing on Great Gig In The Sky......
LOVED THE SHOW.....

I'm not normally into Cover Bands, but this Band is the exception. I've seen Pink Floyd at the Oakland Colisium, many years ago, and this is my 2nd experience with Brit Floyd, and I honestly, can't tell the difference, and would see these guy's again, anytime they come to town.
I really enjoyed the show at sony centre. I have seen pink Floyd several times at big arenas. This band was able to entertain us almost as good as p Floyd. Since I will never see the real thing again I am going to see this band anytime they come back. Everyone in the band were great at what they did. I have seen cover bands before, this band made it feel like they were the original. The female singers stood up and whaled the tunes.
I am going to see local natives and then the Specials..looking forward

Riot Games Reveals Plans for Valorant Champions Tour in 2025
Valorant esports will make some international stops in 2025 in europe, north america, and southeast asia..
iot Games details Valorant Champions Tour format and locations in 2025. Image Credit: Riot Games
This week Riot Games gave a preview of things to come for Valorant esports, including revealing what cities would host major Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) events in 2025 and 2026 .
Following Champions, Challenger teams from around the world will gather together to compete in Ascension in their respective regions, vying for an official spot in the international leagues. Those sports in the international leagues will expand from the current 11 to 12 teams in 2025, and at the end of the season the winning teams that moved from Ascension (tier-2) to the international leagues (tier-1) will defend to keep it at the end of the season ( this was detailed earlier this year by Riot ).
Riot also revealed that starting next year, partner teams will be able to run Academy teams in Challengers, and though these teams will not be able to take part in Ascension it will give organizations a way to develop talent.
The offseason returns in 2025 as well, with a slate of tournaments comprising show matches, open bracket events, influencer tournaments, and invitationals operated by third parties. Some of those special one-off competitions include RedBull Home Ground, Ludwig x Tarik, and Spike Nations, among others.
In November—as was previously announced this week —Riot will run the Game Changers Championship at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin, crowning the best GC team in the world. The Game Changers Championship will expand from eight (8) to 10 teams.
Looking ahead to 2025, Riot said it will bring its global events to three locations. The first Masters of the year in February 2025 heads to Southeast Asia. or more specifically Bangkok, Thailand. In June Toronto, Ontario, Canada, will host the second Masters, and VCT Champions will close out the season in Paris, France.
The 2025 season will now run from January to October, and every competition will award teams with “Championship Points” that will help them earn their way into the year-end championship—details on this point system are to be announced at a later date.
Riot also noted that it will host the kickoff tournament in January, featuring a new format: Twelve (12) teams will compete in a straight double-elimination bracket, with the top two (2) teams qualifying for Masters Bangkok. From there, Stage 1 will qualify the top three (3) teams from each international league to Masters Toronto. Stage 2 (which Riot says “will no longer carry over records from Stage 1”) will qualify teams for the final playoffs of the season. Playoffs will expand from six (6) to eight (8) teams. The top teams from the Stage 2 Playoffs and the top teams with the most Championship Points will qualify for Champions Paris.
Finally, Riot announced that it plans to bring VCT Champions to China in 2026, and to the Americas in 2027, though specific dates and cities were not revealed as of this writing.
Interestingly enough, there appears to be a space in the competitive calendar that falls in line with the timing of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2025. You may recall that The Esports Advocate reported in June that the only reason Valorant wasn’t part of the EWC in 2024 was due to scheduling conflicts. Riot has said that it is in talks with organizers of the event about the inclusion of Valorant in 2025. When asked about the inclusion of its games in the Saudi government’s other big esports event in 2025 – the Esports Olympic Games – Riot declined to comment.

Subscribe to our newsletter here!
Now that the 2024 Valorant Champions Tour season has come to a close, Riot Games is already turning its sights and attention to the 2025 calendar. While we're awaiting firm dates for when the season will commence and when each event will happen, we do at least already know the location for the three big international tournaments.
Riot has affirmed that the two Masters events will be held in Bangkok, Thailand and Toronto, Canada, respectively, and that the premier Valorant Champions tournament will instead favour the City of Lights: Paris, France.
With Asia, North America, and Europe all being represented, which event are you most excited for?

We found the best prices on last-minute bruno mars las vegas tickets.
On Aug. 16, 2024, Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga released their new throwback single “Die With A Smile.”
Music Talkers called the track “a soulful masterpiece,” Clash claimed “their voices blend to profound effect” and Entertainment Weekly dubbed the tune “a spiritual sequel to ‘Shallow.'”
And, according to Set List FM , Mars is already working the soaring duet into his concerts.
If you want to hear the brand-new jam live — along with all of Mars’ other major hits like “Uptown Funk,” “Locked Out Of Heaven,” “24K Magic” and countless others — tickets are available for all ten of Mars’ remaining Las Vegas residency gigs at Dolby Live at Park MGM.
You will need to be a bit of a high roller to afford them, though.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats was $178 before fees on Vivid Seats.
Other shows start anywhere from $215 to $386 before fees.
That being said, the top dollar price is likely worth every penny because the 15-time Grammy winner puts on such an entertaining show.
“The energy and excitement in the arena were electrifying,” Ebony raved about a recent Sin City concert. “Mars and his band put on a very high-energy performance for the sold-out crowd.”
Want to go?
You’re in the right place, Hooligans.
For more information, our team has everything you need to know and more about Bruno Mars’ Las Vegas residency below.

Vivid Seats is a verified secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

Riot announces VCT 2025 details
Riot has unveiled details on the 2025 Valorant Champions Tour calendar and changes to the overall circuit. The revamped system includes new formats, an expanded calendar spanning from January to October, and will implement the new Ascension changes . Additionally, Riot has revealed the next locations for Masters and Champions, as well as announced plans for new in-game cosmetics based on the VCT.
In 2025, Bangkok and Toronto will each host a Masters event, while Champions will take place in Paris. Riot also confirmed Champions will be held in China for 2026 and the Americas for 2027.
The 2025 season will begin in January with Kickoff. The new year brings a new format, as each region will seed their 12 teams directly into a double-elimination bracket, forgoing the group stage and play-in stage from 2024 . The top two teams from each tournament will qualify to Masters Bangkok.
For the regular season, Stage playoffs will expand to eight teams, compared to the six from 2024. In Stage 1, the top three teams from each region will qualify to Masters Toronto, for a total of 12 teams. Unlike this year, Stage 1 results will not affect the Stage 2 standings. Eight teams will advance to the playoffs, with the top teams qualifying directly to Champions 2025.
The final Champions slots from each region will be determined based on championship points, which have been reworked for 2025. Riot will confirm further details on their points system at a later date.
Finally, Riot will update the Classic skins for team bundles, as well as release a new capsule similar to the LOCK//IN skins from 2023.

nah u cooked with this one fr
bro is a chef
toronto and paris will be exciting
u underestimating bangkok?
Snakes jumping out of toilets and shi, yea I’m excited
W (mostly, will see how they distribute championship points)
tickets will be sold out in Toronto, i can almost gurantee that.
100% agree they will sell fast too.
W Toronto. But why tf is kickoff still a thing. 8 teams is criminal for an international tournament, especially when we only have 3 major tournaments a year.
Also two teams make champs by winning in split 2??? I think I liked 3 teams making it through points better. That favors consistency over a good run.
Shorter off-season hella nice tho
only 1 team made it through points in 2024.
Kickoff is a thing because its optimal to having a masters without an overlly long time of qualification. The masters being 8 teams is also to make the event shorter.
Thanks for the correction on points, forgot about that.
I understand your point about about masters being shorter, but I still really don't like that. I would rather there be a full split to start the year and full 12 team tournament. Wasting one of three majors we get a year is a horrible decision.
Think it boils down to money. Riot doesn't wanna do more than they're already doing. Viewership tanked in League of Legends and so they're probably afraid it'll eventually happen to Valorant too.
riot also kinda cant, throughout the entire year there is something riot related, they literally dont have extra time in a year
Problem with that is, your the need to miss a qualification for another event, and then cram all the work to compensate for the longer masters or you stream multiple games at the same time.
Agreed. I think then I would prefer something like lcq for champs instead of the split two. But that comes with it's own issues
I wish they had a lock in event in January
we're getting new designs for the team classics?
As far I heard yes (plus they showed some regional knife skins)
The regional knifes from Lock IN were really good, hopefully they make something similar like that. And it's a good thing that the bundles get a fresh design too
dont think so
whats the capital of thailandd

for those who don't know
these people don't even know memes 😭
I have to visit Canada next year so this is an absolute W for me. I pray Riot lines up the dates perfectly. Holy shit
it looks like its just june
Damn I hope it starts late June or at least it's a month long event.
1 Pacific, 1 EMEA, 1 Americas. Every region viewer base gets 2 neutral timezone. W allocation.
Aus still nothing even up till 2026 :C
ppl barely exist in AUS
ayo how is ur haunted forest did it catch any fire ? ( just playing ) u guys took our WC tho
"how is ur haunted forest did it catch any fire ?"
is this some sort of reference? because I dont get it T_T
aus forest fires and the wildest creatures
paris crowd should go hard
French crowds are the best in the world
if KC somehow makes it to champs itll be way toooo hype
i rly hope they host it in the bercy arena its like 20k capacity, both worlds 2019 finals and csgo major 2023 were hosted there, both were bangers
Doesnt KC owner have his own large arena?
its 3k capacity iirc LUL
fr tho i think he should talk to rito about having KC play their vct regular season games there, would be good crowd finally
they should do EMEA playoffs there but i guess its annoying to travel just for that
nah i agree with you we need roadshows for regional playoffs like in league, they already did have those for pacific and cn playoffs top 3 teams, not sure why not for EU and NA
I need to see the format of both stage before taking a decision
toronto??? make sure not to step in some needles.....
Try Vancouver if ur worried about stepping in Needles. Anywhere near Toronto arenas/sports venues is fine.
Maybe Masters will be hosted in a building on Jane & Finch, only if we're lucky....
But I actually do wanna know the venue. No way it'd be scotiabank/Roger's, right?
The Grand Finals and lower finals might be in scotiabank arena thats what they have done so far where the first set of games are in a lesser arena but the lower and grand finals are in the cities main venue
The league NALCS finals back in like 2015 was held in Scotiabank. So probably there again
I didn't know Tucker Carlson was a vlr user
8 teams masters is still a joke honestly.
Paris huh! The phrase "get shit on" would be quite literal I see
ironic really
At least we dont got a 6 month off season anymore
that was to compensate for chia
MASTERS TORONTO BABY
will u attend it canadaman
Yes, I will be going to multiple days with a different sign each time, one of the signs will say "I Love boilin_cock"
pls include my name somewhere too 😔
I will try it depends on how many games I will be able to go to since I already promised the boilin_cock one as well as a "TMV Hates NA" sign
You could do a vlr.gg sign with names of pleasant users (wink wink)
Someone wants a shoutout on the main broadcast
I was going to do one for y'all but I couldn't catch a China LAN.
8 team tournament for a 48 team league.
Incompetence
I also want to say this: Why can't we let more league teams participate in the Masters? It would be more interesting.
because time
There are 48 league teams, but we can only see a very few teams competing in the Masters and Champions. I personally feel quite disappointed. I hope there is a LOCK//IN every year.
well if people didnt shit on lock//in, we mightve had a second one, but atp I dont see them ever doing it again
W moves but why classic ? just change it to ghost or maybe shorty or even knife
Because free gun possible to have every round with no economic sacrifice
nyc snubbed of another live event smh
Mumbai pe chahiye
When do tickets usually release for masters events? I NEED to go to masters toronto and I know it is gonna sell out and sell out fast
masters shanghai sold out in 33 seconds, champions seoul still has tickets for certain games. so basically you are good unless the tournament is in china. Americas will probably sell out but youve def got some time, its not gonna be a china situation
Next year may actually be decent. Great locations and new changes. Hopefully the teams that make Champs entertains the crowd a whole lot.
No one is talking about it but 4 split for challengers in 2025??
Guys when will Toronto Masters be? The dates or month?
June 2025, dates aren’t announced yet but it’s somewhere in that month , most likely late june consider champs is from september-october

Kerry King riffs about his return to the stage after Slayer and the band’s unexpected Riot Fest reunion
- Copy Link URL Copied!
As the final moments approached, Kerry King faced the end of Slayer’s supposed last performance with an epic heavy metal gesture. During the band’s closing minutes the night of Nov. 30, 2019, the guitarist stood onstage at the Forum in Inglewood and removed the heavy chains he’d worn for years as a weighty symbol of his metal fervor. He then dropped them loudly to the floor.
Slayer, the pioneering thrash metal band he co-founded in 1981 from suburban Huntington Park, was finished as an active touring and recording outfit, much to the sadness and disbelief of the teary, moshing crowd in front of him. But King already had a plan for his future, with a solo career and a new band he’d never intended but would tackle with full force.
King had most of the roster for his new project figured out, starting with Slayer drummer Paul Bostaph, and several songs already written. He was ready to go.
“I was in a good spot,” King says now, on the phone from a tour during a recent travel day off in Madison, Wis. “It was different for me because starting over and getting everybody together, it’s just an entirely different thing. But I had lots of ideas and had lots of [song] titles, and I never got to panic mode.”
On Wednesday, King will be back at the Kia Forum for the first time since that last night with Slayer, now at the head of a new metal outfit under his own name, appearing as a support act to co-headliners Lamb of God and Mastodon. This follows the release in May of his debut album, “From Hell I Rise,” a 13-song collection of speedy, raging guitars that sounds remarkably like Slayer — unsurprising, since King was the hands-on architect for the band’s last several studio recordings.
The first public evidence of King’s new solo career was the February release of his single “Idle Hands,” with a galloping riff and a raging vocalist (Mark Osegueda), which reassured any fans worried that the guitarist might wander from the aggressive chaotic sound he’d spent the last four decades helping to create.
“It checked all the boxes: It’s got a great riff in it, it’s got a great vocal break, it’s speedy like people expected me to be,” says King, now 60. His solo career had begun.
Then, before the month was over, fans were shocked when Slayer announced three festival reunion dates this fall: Chicago’s Riot Fest on Sept. 22, Louder Than Life in Louisville, Ky., five days later and Sacramento’s Aftershock on Oct. 10.
The guitarist notes that the predictable offers to reunite came in as soon as the group’s final show was over, but King and founding singer-bassist Tom Araya turned down everything for nearly five years. Araya was the band member most anxious to retire from the road, and King didn’t expect that to change.
“I wasn’t ready to hang it up, but there’s really no point in going on with someone that doesn’t want to do it anymore, because then you’ve got a half-hearted person onstage,” says King, who ultimately accepted, then embraced the notion of retiring while Slayer was in top form. “We won the Super Bowl and we left. That’s pretty cool. Now we’ve got these three anniversary shows. Will there be more? I don’t know. Will we ever record again? Definitely not. Will we ever tour again? Definitely not. But a show here and there to make some people happy, I’m not against that.”
For King, his work wasn’t over even if Slayer no longer existed as it had. One sign was how close the sound of his first solo project echoes his old band. And Bostaph was happy to rejoin him there.
“One thing I’ve learned through all these years is to do what you do best,” Bostaph, 60, says in a separate phone interview from Moose Jaw, Canada. “Kerry writes a certain way, and I like to play drums a certain way. When I play with him, this is how I play. There’s definitely going to be a familiarity there.”
King’s preparations included securing four members of the Slayer road crew. Originally, he also wanted Slayer guitarist Gary Holt (who had replaced the late Jeff Hanneman), but the inevitable comparisons to King’s former band weighed on him. He instead recruited Phil Demmel (formerly Machine Head), on second guitar.
“The more pieces of Slayer I have, the more people are going to tear it apart and call it ‘Slayer 2.0, Slayer this, Slayer that,’ whatever,” King says. “So I decided to get somebody other than Gary. I don’t have any problems with Gary. Obviously, we’ve got three Slayer shows coming up, but it’s just the right choice, because then it makes the two bands too similar.”
In Demmel, who filled in for Holt on four Slayer shows during its final European run in 2018, he had a musician whose melodic playing offered a contrast with King’s wildest guitar spasms. Although King has long been a fan of solo players like Eddie Van Halen and Randy Rhoads, he’s always craved the dual guitar attack of his favorite band, Judas Priest.
“I really am a fan of harmonizing guitar parts, harmonizing guitar riffs, like the main riff of [Slayer’s] ‘Raining Blood’ has numerous guitar harmonies, and you can’t do that with one guitar player,” says King. “Holt and Demmel are very similar. They’re a lot more melodic than I am, so it creates a nice balance of anarchy and melodic music.”
Another early recruit was bassist Kyle Sanders, formerly of Hellyeah and older brother to Mastodon singer-bassist Troy Sanders. Singer Osegueda (formerly of Death Angel) was the last to join up in February 2023, after King heard friends describe him as having “a quiet reputation of being the best singer in thrash,” he recalls. “His vocal sound has teeth. It sounds like the vocals are just gonna jump out of the speaker.”
The pandemic delayed King’s initial plan to begin recording in 2020. During that time, he left Southern California and spent a year living in Las Vegas. King and his wife, Ayesha, then moved to New York and settled into a Tribeca condo in 2021. For the metal guitarist, that meant a change in lifestyle, which included giving up owning his own car and his expansive snake collection.
Recognizable for a shaved scalp tattoed with demonic images and with the words “God hates us all” tattooed in block letters along his left arm, King now gets around the city by subway.
King’s intention was to find a new band name to perform under. A couple of potentials he liked — Blood Reign and King’s Rain — linking the new band to Slayer’s best-known album, 1986’s “Reign in Blood,” were already in circulation. It would take some legal work to secure either name.
“Let me tell you, it is difficult to come up with a band name because I tried for months and months and months,” King says. “Every time we landed on one, it might make its way to the trademark attorney, who would say, ‘No, it’s kind of a headache. You don’t want to go there.’”
With a series of festival dates coming up that had to be announced, he finally went with his own name under protest. For the next album, King says, he remains open to finding a band name along the lines of Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow.
“I think it would be cool for the fans to be able to chant something other than my name,” he says with a laugh.
Ideas for songs and riffs usually began as rough recordings on King’s cellphone. He wrote and recorded demos of new songs for a year and resurrected two recorded originally by Slayer for its final album but never released — the title song and “Rage.” The new band recorded the album at Henson Studios in Hollywood with producer Josh Wilbur.
The increased influence of punk rock can be heard on “Everything I Hate About You” and “Two Fists,” with echoes from two 1980 bands from Fullerton, , the Adolescents and D.I. Among the lyrics is the line, “I think the ship’s about to sink/I think I need another drink,” words King says he can’t imagine putting in a Slayer track.
Slayer, like other thrash originators in the 1980s, had a sound partly fueled by its collision of metal and punk. In Slayer, Hanneman was the first to embrace the punk sound.
“It took me a while to get it. Jeff was into it before any of us were,” says King, who at the time couldn’t understand the appeal of blunt punk vocals in comparison to heavy metal heroes like Rob Halford and Ronnie James Dio. “How can you like this when there’s these singers out there that sing like birds? It took me a while to understand the angst and the rage and the very remedial guitar parts in most punk music. But once I got it, it’s definitely part of where I came from and what I am today.”
After this leg of his first solo tour ends, King and Bostaph will turn their attention to the three Slayer festival dates. King’s band includes a few Slayer songs in its live set, but even Bostaph was surprised when the reunion dates were lined up.
“I’m like, ‘You’re kidding, right?’ I really put that to bed,” the drummer says. “When something like that ends, I’m not going to do that to myself: Gee, someday it’d be great to get back together again. Life is life and this is how it is, and I’m moving on to whatever the next thing is. I put that to bed and then all of a sudden the call comes.”
Beyond Slayer, King says he looks to the examples of an earlier generation of metal players for guidance regarding his future. At age 72, singer Rob Halford continues to lead Judas Priest onward, while Black Sabbath retired in 2017 with its founding band members in their late 60s. King is already planning for his band’s next two albums, with several songs already written.
“I’m certainly not getting any younger, but as long as it’s viable live and it doesn’t look like a bunch of old guys trying to play thrash music, it has life,” King says. “I’ve got to work my way up, earn my dues in this band and show people how great it is to see live. I want to retire in this band. I want this to be everybody’s last gig.”
