I think you can usually tell a lot about a person from their app subscriptions as well. Well, mine are Audible, Headspace, The Financial Times, Chess.com, Lumosity, Netflix and Sleep Cycle.

Upon release of payment and guarantee of booking, all guests are submitting compliance to the following Terms & Conditions Policy. Should any doubt or dispute with said Terms & Conditions arise before booking, it is advised to contact us before placing your booking and submitting payment. Cancellation Policy We respect that your time is valuable and want you to feel as comfortable as possible when booking with us. We have a 72-hour easy cancellation policy. Does NOT apply to all Colosseum Underground Products. Any cancellations that occur 72 hours or more before the scheduled time are eligible for a FULL REFUND or re-booked(if available) at no additional cost to the client. Cancellations between 36-72 hours before the event may be transferred to a different date/time of the same tour (if available) or another tour available in our platform. (A transfer fee between 10% to 35% may be applied) Additional charges may apply for tours at higher price. Cancellation requests made within 36 hours of the tour date/time cannot be refunded nor transferred. All cancellation requests/tour changes must be made either by email [email protected] or by calling (0039) 392 533 1594. All bookings eligible for refunds are processed within 24 hours of request. Early Colosseum Underground Booking At Crown Tours, we try our best to keep our calendar as updated as possible with the latest availabilities from the Colosseum. However, as the Colosseum gradually releases availabilities for tickets throughout the year, and the tickets for the period selected might have not been released yet, tour times might have a slight variation in time/day depending on availability. Due to new regulations of the Colosseum administration all Colosseum Underground booking are to be considered non Refundable and non trasferable within 32 days of the tour date. This would be the case with ANY SUPPLIER. We will be able to provide the availability right after the release of reservations and we will always do our best to make sure your tour will start on the same date and time chosen. In any case, if your booking will be subject to changes till that time we will inform you, and according to our cancellation policy, you will be eligible to get a full refund. Liability Crown Tours S.r.l.s. is not liable in respect of personal injury, loss or damage of luggage by the client, or death. The company is not responsible for any injury, loss, delay, inconvenience caused by natural disasters, or other events which are beyond our control or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence by Crown Tours s.r.l.s, such as war, floods, severe weather, etc. Late Arrivals for Small Group tours Upon confirmation of your booking, you will receive all relevant details on meeting locations and start times. You are asked to arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour experience. We cannot guarantee you will find your guide if you fail to arrive at the meeting point on time. In the event this occurs, Crown Tours s.r.l.s is not responsible for any claim of refund or even partial refund. We will do our best to accommodate you if you arrive late and the tour has already begun, however, no refunds will be issued, in accordance with our cancellation policy, if you are unable to join us due to late arrival. Delays with Private Experiences / Private Transfer Services If you anticipate you will be delayed for any reason, it is your responsibility to contact our office at (+39 392 533 1594). We cannot guarantee that a rescheduled pick-up time or day will be possible at no additional charge for last minute cancellations. Discounts If you have a Discount Code or qualify for one of our promotional discounts, they must be applied BEFORE purchase. Contact us for more information. Proof of Age It is the customer’s responsibility to provide proof of age either for themselves or for their children. All teenagers and children under the age of 18 must show proof in order to receive the discounted rate. All students (age 18-26) must show a valid student ID in order to receive the student rate. Proof of age can be shown in the form of a passport, driver’s license, birth certificate, etc. Last minute bookings Crown Tours always strives to deliver every single service that has been booked through www.crowntours.com. In the rare events of the last minute booking, Crown Tours cannot guarantee that the service can be delivered due to lack of available tour guides and/or available tickets. In these rare occasions, Crown Tours is responsible to contact the customer and offer an alternative tour, a new starting time or a full refund. The customer is always welcome to call or email Crown Tours before proceeding with the last minute booking in order to secure the tour or service. Upon release of payment and guarantee of booking, all guests are submitting compliance to the following Terms & Conditions Policy. Mystik Dan has already become a legend in the world of horse racing and a permanent fixture in the venerable sport’s history.

He now has the opportunity to elevate his legacy from legendary to immortal by winning another couple of races and caiming the Triple Crown.

Mystik Dan owns 33/1 odds to pull off the remarkable feat, per bet365 , ahead of the second leg.

Only 13 horses – and just two in the last 45 years – have ever won the Triple Crown.

Of course, a Triple Crown is won just one race at a time, and the next step in Mystik Dan’s pursuit is the Preakness Stakes on May 18.

The big question right now is whether or not he’ll even be entered in the iconic Baltimore event.

We might not know until Monday, when positions for the race will be drawn, but the horse’s health status is a bit up in the air, and two weeks is not a lot of rest time to get him up to 100 percent.

This is part of what makes the Triple Crown so special – a tired horse has to go up against much fresher ones, as most of the Preakness field did not run at Churchill Downs last week, so his talent really needs to shine through. 

The fact that Mystik Dan might not compete in either of the upcoming Triple Crown races is factored into the long odds, so if you’re willing to take a risk, you could be holding an extremely valuable ticket if he runs.

So what are Mystik Dan’s chances to win the Preakness if he does run?

The length shouldn’t be an issue; it’s just 1/16 of a mile shorter than the Kentucky Derby, and, if anything, he would’ve won by more than a nose had the Derby ended a bit earlier. 

The cause for concern is how Dan won. He controlled the rail for much of the back half of the race, using that position to surge ahead of the pack around the bend and ultimately win.

That’s a tough approach to replicate, pending post position, and could be especially challenging for a horse who will potentially be showing signs of fatigue if he does run. 

Then, of course, if he does win, he’ll have just three more weeks to recover before a potential Triple Crown clincher at the Belmont Stakes in Saratoga.

For an underdog horse who won the Kentucky Derby with a daring strategy by the shortest margin possible, and is already showing signs of slowing down, two more wins seem out of reach.

These long odds are warranted, and likely not worth an investment, even if Mystik Dan does run at Pimlico Race Course.

M ontana's pristine mountain landscapes lure in travelers seeking outdoor adventures. Nowhere is this more apparent than in Glacier National Park. Located near the Canadian border in the Rocky Mountains, Glacier National Park was voted as one of the most beautiful national parks in the country based on Google reviews analyzed by Travel Lens in 2023. In fact, due to its geodiversity, which includes the eponymous glaciers, rivers, forests, marshes, and the most stunning waterfall views , Glacier National Park is often referred to as the Crown of the Continent.

George Bird Grinnell gave this nickname to the park and the surrounding region in 1901. The Yale graduate and nature enthusiast was the editor of "Forest and Stream," a publication centered on the outdoors and nature conservation. Grinnell was later instrumental in establishing Glacier National Park in 1910. Although Grinnell devised this term over 100 years ago, several reviewers on Tripadvisor say they have also been left astounded by its scenery. In August 2023, one individual wrote, "It's hard to put into words the amount of beauty that is contained within this park."

Take In The Sights Of Glacier National Park With A Guided Tour

With more than a million acres, Glacier National Park offers much to experience. If you need help creating or narrowing down your itinerary, there are several guided tours. Hikers can opt for a tour from Glacier Guides and Montana Raft . It offers hikes every day of the week, including one to St. Mary Falls and Virginia Falls, two popular waterfalls, for $165 per person. The nearly 10-hour excursion includes lunch. ​​Note that most of these hikes are seasonal and only provided from early July to late September. Likewise, the price excludes tips or the entrance fee to Glacier National Park. You can learn more about the different hikes and make a reservation online. 

In addition, Glacier Guides and Montana Raft provide rafting tours. The scenic float trip on the gorgeous Flathead River is under three hours and ideal for all ages. Similarly, it's only available from May to October, and prices are $81 for adults and $61 for kids.

Those who prefer a laid-back outing can take a half-day or full-day bus tour of Glacier National Park with  Sun Tours . Its full-day tour ($140 for adults; $75 for kids) traverses the Going-to-the-Sun Road and includes stops at Logan Pass and Jackson Glacier Overlook, while one of the half-day tours ($110 for adults; $55 for kids) stops at Lake McDonald, the largest lake at Glacier National Park.

Where To Stay At Glacier National Park

Needless to say, visitors might need a few days to explore Glacier National Park. There are tons of campgrounds available that can be reserved online . There are also several accommodations available nearby. Swiftcurrent Motor Inn and Cabins and Lake McDonald Lodge are two top-rated options on Tripadvisor. Swiftcurrent Motor Inn and Cabins, only open from June to September, can be described as a motel with a vintage flair, with prices starting around $150 a night. As its name suggests, it features rooms and outdoor cabins. There is also an onsite restaurant serving American fare.

Lake McDonald Lodge (seen in the TikTok above) is open from May until end of September or early October and also offers rooms and cabins, including the breathtaking Cobb House, built in 1918. The impressive hotel dates back to 1913 and retains much of its early 20th-century elegance. There are three restaurants, including Russell's Fireside Dining Room, where travelers can enjoy a cozy meal after a day in the great outdoors. Prices start around $200 a night.

As you might guess from the title of Eugene Levy’s latest series — “The Reluctant Traveler” — he’s a guy who’s happy to stay put.

The show, now in its second season on Apple TV+ , follows Mr. Levy, a 77-year-old comedy legend known for his roles in “Waiting for Guffman,” “American Pie,” “Schitt’s Creek” and more, as he defies his anxieties about airports, heights, temperatures, textures and vast swaths of the animal kingdom. With great consternation, he leaves his comfort zone — Canada, as he often reminds viewers — to shadow an expert moose caller in Sweden, herd 600 sheep through a German resort town and politely avoid an octopus aboard a Greek trawler.

Raised in Hamilton, Ontario, about 40 miles southwest of Toronto, Mr. Levy got his big break in 1972 alongside Martin Short, Gilda Radner, Victor Garber, Andrea Martin and Paul Shaffer in a celebrated production of “Godspell” at Toronto’s Royal Alexandra Theater . He has since called the city — and one historic, leafy neighborhood — home.

“Rosedale is a residential area that is right in the heart of Toronto,” he told me over coffee at Tavern on the Green, in New York, where he’d joined the cast of the fourth season of “ Only Murders in the Building .” With new skyscrapers going up “a mile a minute” in Toronto, he said, the scene from our table in Central Park looked a little like his view from Rosedale. He and his wife, Deborah Divine, are neighborhood loyalists — Avant Goût , a local bistro, has been their go-to for decades — but spots in other areas rank high, too.

Here are five of Mr. Levy’s favorite places in Toronto.

1. Terroni Bar Centrale

“Deb and I would usually do our daily constitutional in the morning and end up at Bar Centrale for a latte and some of their fine pastries,” he said, adding that the croissants are especially good at this spot in Summerhill, a neighborhood that borders Rosedale. Occupying the ground floor of the multistory Terroni Price restaurant in a 19th-century brick building, Bar Centrale forgoes the Wi-Fi you might expect with your coffee in favor of a wall’s worth of international magazines and — according to Mr. Levy — a staff full of good conversationalists.

2. Harry Rosen

The flagship of this family-run men’s wear emporium on Bloor Street is one-stop shopping for Mr. Levy. “I hate traveling around to different places to get different things,” he said, very much on brand. This place “has every designer, if that’s what you’re into, and everything from socks to tuxedos.” There’s also a sumptuous grooming department, a tailoring service and an array of coffee table books on topics like racecars, rockers and tattoo art.

3. CN Tower

Touristy? Sure, Mr. Levy acknowledged. Still, this approximately 1,815-foot communications and observation tower offers unrivaled views of the city and Lake Ontario, even if — like him — you avoid the acrophobia-inducing glass-floored sections. “We used to take the kids there when they were young,” he said. “I couldn’t even put my toe on the edge of the glass, but my kids would just destroy me — they would lie down on it.” A less stressful view: Rogers Centre , the stadium next door, where you can see the Toronto Blue Jays play baseball. “I’ve been a Jays fan for, I guess since they started in ’77,” Mr. Levy told me. He clarified his brand of fandom during a Season 2 episode of “The Reluctant Traveler”: “I don’t go and paint my face,” he told the Spanish footballer Héctor Bellerín , but “in a championship game, I’ll stand up and give them, you know, a thumbs-up.”

4. The Royal Conservatory of Music

“The musicianship coming out of the Royal Conservatory is just awesome,” said Mr. Levy, quick to note that his wife “would go there when she was a kid taking piano lessons.” (Students at the 138-year-old institution have included the pianist Glenn Gould and the singer Sarah McLachlan .) Mr. Levy loves concerts at the attached Koerner Hall — “the acoustics are impeccable” — where you can see top students or international stars .

5. Windsor Arms Hotel

The 1972 “Godspell” role became Mr. Levy’s first steady acting paycheck: “That was huge,” he said. And with his windfall (“140 bucks every single week”) he started enjoying meals and late-night cocktails, or cake and coffee, at the Windsor Arms , a 10-minute drive from the theater. The hotel was popular, he said, because it was “quiet and more residential” than others. (The suites feel like genteel prewar apartments, with musical instruments and plenty of plush seating.) One of Mr. Levy’s favorite old haunts there — the Courtyard Cafe — is now the Courtyard, an event space worth a quick wander to see where, among other things, Elton John and David Furnish held an engagement party. Mr. Levy, now a connoisseur of 5:30 p.m. dinners, is no longer the late-night cake-and-coffee guy he once was — but he still gives the place, you know, a thumbs-up.

The 2025 Real ID deadline for new licenses is really real this time, DHS says

If you plan on flying around the country in 2025 and beyond, you might want to listen up.

You have about 365 days to make your state-issued driver’s license or identification “Real ID” compliant, per the Department of Homeland Security.  

The Real ID compliance is part of a larger act passed by Congress in 2005 to set “minimum security standards” for the distribution of identification materials, including driver’s licenses. This means that certain federal agencies, like the Transportation Security Administration or DHS, won’t be able to accept state-issued forms of identification without the Real ID seal.

It's taken a while for the compliance to stick, with DHS originally giving a 2020 deadline before pushing it back a year, then another two years and another two years after that due to “backlogged transactions” at MVD offices nationwide, according to previous USA TODAY reports.

Here’s what we know about Real IDs, including where to get one and why you should think about getting one.

Do I have to get a Real ID?

Not necessarily. 

If you have another form of identification that TSA accepts, there probably isn’t an immediate reason to obtain one, at least for travel purposes. But if you don’t have another form of identification and would like to travel around the country in the near future, you should try to obtain one. 

Here are all the other TSA-approved forms of identification:

◾ State-issued Enhanced Driver’s License

◾ U.S. passport

◾ U.S. passport card

◾ DHS trusted traveler cards (Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST)

◾ U.S. Department of Defense ID, including IDs issued to dependents

◾ Permanent resident card

◾ Border crossing card

◾ An acceptable photo ID issued by a  federally recognized , Tribal Nation/Indian Tribe

◾ HSPD-12 PIV card

◾ Foreign government-issued passport

◾ Canadian provincial driver's license or Indian and Northern Affairs Canada card

◾ Transportation worker identification credential

◾ U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Employment Authorization Card (I-766)

◾ U.S. Merchant Mariner Credential

◾ Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC)

However, federal agencies “may only accept” state-issued driver’s licenses or identification cards that are Real ID compliant if you are trying to gain access to a federal facility. That includes TSA security checkpoints.

Enhanced driver’s licenses, only issued by Washington, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, and Vermont, are considered acceptable alternatives to REAL ID-compliant cards, according to DHS. 

What can I use my Real ID for?

For most people, it's all about boarding flights.

You can only use your Real ID card to obtain access to "nuclear power plants, access certain facilities, or board federally regulated commercial aircrafts," according to DHS.

The cards can't be used to travel across any border, whether that's Canada, Mexico, or any other international destination, according to DHS.

How do I get a Real ID? What does a Real ID look like?

All you have to do to get a Real ID is to make time to head over to your local department of motor vehicles.

Every state is different, so the documents needed to verify your identity will vary. DHS says that at minimum, you will be asked to produce your full legal name, date of birth, social security number, two proofs of address of principal residence and lawful status.

The only difference between the state-issued forms of identification you have now and the Real ID-compliant card you hope to obtain is a unique marking stamped in the right-hand corner. The mark stamped on your Real ID compliant cards depends on the state.
