Traveling in Andaman can be fairly expensive due to lack of online cabs and usage of ferries to different islands. The hotel rates in Andaman is also higher when compared to mainland India. Will I save more on a tour package or traveling by myself?

Depending on where you get the tour package from it can either be expensive or cheap. If getting a tour from OTA’s and travel agents who resell tours, it will be fairly expensive and it is better to travel by yourself.

If getting from a local tour operator in Andaman, you can avoid extra surcharges and taxes added by OTA’s and save more on the same tour,as even if booked with OTAs you will be traveling with the local operators as they are the ones present in Andaman. In this case, you can save more on tour packages, compared to self-planning.

What time of the year is the cheapest for this trip?

The cheapest month to visit the islands is from July to September but rain might affect the trip.

You can tour on standard rates from September to November and again February to June.

At this time the pricing for the tour will be standard and no surcharges are added to the trip, moreover, the weather is great and there will be no extra hassles during your travel.

The peak season in Andaman is from December to January,which is the winter season in Andaman. During this time, everything from hotels and cabs to ferries has extra surcharges added to them. This is because the weather is perfect during these months and the number of tourists visiting Andaman is high.

Can I get honeymoon tours including Airfare?

The cost of airfare changes a lot and therefore it is hard to include it in a package with a specified rate.

If you’d like to get your tickets booked by the tour operator, a separate quote is provided which also includes the airfare.

Can I travel to Andaman on a cruise for this trip?

You can travel to Andaman on a ship only as there are no cruises available from mainland India. (The cruises that are available are only for inter-island travel.)

Please note that the ship journey can be really tiring and bothersome for people who have sea-sickness. Moreover, the ship takes almost 3 days to reach Andaman from Chennai and Kolkata so you’ll have to stay on it, even if the weather gets worse. Find more information about ship journey here .

Day 1 : Arrival at Port Blair

On arrive at Port Blair, our representative receive you at Airport /Harbour and escorted you to check in to the Hotel / Resort. After check-in at the hotel In the afternoon proceed for visit to Corbyns cove beach a coconut fringed beach about 8 kms from Port Blair city ideal for swimming, visit to National Memorial Cellular Jail- was built by Britishers in the years 1905 to imprison Indian political freedom fighters , Late evening witness the enthralling Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail - where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive. Overnight stay at respective Hotel / Resort at Port Blair.

Day 2 – Port Blair to Ross Island and Excursion to Coral Island/North Bay

After breakfast, Visit Ross Island, the former residential and administrative island of the British during their rule of South East Asia, was nick named the Paris of the East. This island was completely destroyed in an earthquake, now in ruins. Then excursion to Coral Island (North Bay) to see coral reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fish and other marine life. This is an ideal place for snorkelling as this sandy beach coupled with clear water creates a breath-taking spectacle. Please carry your lunch pack, drinking water & changing dress. Water sports activities available here are Scuba diving, Under water sea-walk, Snorkelling, glass bottom boat ride, Jet ski-water scooter, Banana boat ride, speed boat, etc; (on direct payment basis). Overnight stay at respective Hotel at Port Blair.

Day 3 – Port Blair to Havelock to Radhanagar Beach

Today, we start journey towards Havelock Island via ferry from Port Blair. On arrival at Havelock Island, our representative will receive and Today, we start escort you to selected hotel. After lunch we start our journey towards Radhanagar Beach (Beach No. 7), the Times Magazine rated the finest beach among the best beaches in Asia. It is an ideal place for swimming, sea bathing and basking on the sun kissed beach. Stay overnight amongst sandy beach and lush green forest in a comfortable beach resort at Havelock.

Day 4 : Havelock Island to Elephant

Excursion to Elephant beach (Optional) Trip to Elephant Beach3: Embark on the most memorable snorkeling trip, just 40 min by Boat this beach offers snorkelers calm blue shallow waters and is the perfect spot for beginner snorkelers. The boat goes right up to the beach and its so easy to slip on your gear and just start snorkeling. Its also a great place to just spend the day lying on the beach and relaxing. The beach is very scenic with fallen trees and white sand giving the photographer some interesting shots. The reef here starts very close to shore at a depth of about 1 meter. The large reef is mostly made up of hard coral and has plenty of marine life. (Optional Activity 950/- per head Extra with transfers, boat charges, ) Stay here overnight amongst sandy beach and lush green forest in a comfortable beach resort. Overnight stay at respective Hotel at Havelock.

Day 5 : Havelock Island to Port Blair

According to boat schedule,In the afternoon you reach back Portblair by ferry. On arrive at Port Blair, our representative receive you at Phonix Bay harbour and escorted you to check in to the Hotel / Resort. After check-in at the hotel Overnight stay at Portblair.

Day 6 : Depart from Andaman Islands

Transfer to Airport and Departure with a wonderful holiday memories.

We only had one day on the Andaman Islands as it was a stop on our cruise and we wanted to go to the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park for snorkeling. To get into the National Park you have to have a visitor permit which had to be required in advance. And the cruise left at 05.00 PM so the itinerary was quite tight. But that was no problem for Andaman Bluebay Holidays . We were picked up at the port, brought to the ferry at Wandoor right on time, went over to Jolly Buoy Island, had a nice afternoon for snorkeling, went back to Wandoor, had an extra stop at Wandoor Beach and went back to the port to catch our cruise. All perfectly organised by Andaman Bluebay Holiday . Thank you once more!

As Andaman is in a Tropical region the temperature remains the same most of the day with nights being a little cooler. b. Now, Government took ownership of the prison-turned museum and declared it a national memorial.

2. Corbyn’s beach : – Close to Port Blair, Corbyn beach is a magical hug from mother nature. It is the only beach that allows swimming in Port Blair but only till 20 minutes in distance. • Any change in the itinerary is subject to the weather conditions, political manifestations and government restrictions. Thrillophilia & Tour operator reserve the rights to rearrange the itinerary in such cases
• Refund/alternate for any complementary activity is not applicable if activity gets cancelled.
• In case a location is closed real-time due to weather conditions, political disturbances and government restrictions the operator will try to provide with a feasible alternative for the same. However, a refund may not be applicable
• Sailing of Pvt. Cruise (Makruzz/Green Ocean/ Coastal Cruise) is subject to availability if not operated/available travellers will be booked through Govt. Ferry.
• In case the customer misses out on a scheduled pickup/drop due to delay from their end, the charges involved to get a different means of transport may not be refunded
• All hotels rooms will be standard by default unless the customer specifies to receive a different category of rooms before booking
• Permits for foreigners is not included in the tour cost.
• Check-in / Check-out timings are specific to hotel & cannot be altered. Under group tours, flight/train timings can be different for travellers however travellers need to abide by unique departure timings mentioned by Tour operator.
• In case of an additional sightseeing tour not mentioned in the itinerary or mentioned as optional, the cost needs to be borne by the customer. (Driver/Vehicle Charges)
• Participants are requested to follow the timing in the program, in case any service is missed due to delay in departure, the company will not be responsible for any refund
• In the case of Group departures, Thrillophilia may not be responsible for planning the time between hotel check out & train/flight departure since every traveller may have different timings.
• Thrillophilia may not be responsible for a delay in the pickup/drop in case of uncontrollable circumstances like traffic, weather conditions, getting permits from government/local authorities.
• Any cost arising due to unforeseen circumstances & reasons beyond our control like change in flight and cruise schedule, cruise schedule; cancellation of flights/trains/cruise, political disturbances, natural phenomenon, landslides, roadblocks or any etc (to be borne by the client directly on the spot)
• The execution of the trip is solely the responsibility of the tour operator assigned.
• Rooms will be confirmed only after confirmation of tour package i.e when 50% of the payment is made to Thrillophilia and it is still subject to availability at the time of 50% payment. In case of unavailability at the mentioned Hotels/Guest House guests can be accommodated at a property of a similar standard.
• Foreign nationals should obtain the required permit from the immigration authorities soon after landing on the island at Airport/Harbour
• Rescheduling Policy for Private (Standard & Deluxe Package) & Group Bookings: 1) If rescheduling is made 7 days after the Booking Date till 15 days prior to the Date of Travel then 30.0% of the total tour cost will be charged as rescheduling fees. | 2) If rescheduling is made 0 days to 15 days before the Date of Travel then 100.0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees. | 3) If bookings are made 15 days before the Date of Travel no rescheduling & modifications will be made.
• Rescheduling Policy for Private (Super Deluxe) & Hotel Specific Bookings: No modification or Rescheduling will be catered. A standard cancellation policy will be applicable for such cases.
• Force Majeure: In cases of force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, or other unforeseeable circumstances), [Thrillophilia] reserves the right to reschedule Tours & treks or offer alternative itineraries to ensure the safety and well-being of clients and staff.
• Cancellation After Rescheduling: Clients who reschedule their tours or treks but later decide to cancel will be subject to our standard cancellation policy. Any rescheduling fees paid will be non-refundable.
