ABOUT STEVE
Steve Power has been in the entertainment industry for 40 years. Primarily he has been a radio presenter with various radio stations in the UK. These include Southern Sound, Horizon Radio, Chiltern Radio, Northants Radio, Severn Sound, Virgin Radio, Talk Radio and for the past 25 years, Wave 105.
At Wave 105, he presented Steve Power At Breakfast for over 17 years before moving to 4pm-8pm for the last 7 years.

In addition he has been part of a Sony Radio Gold Award team for the 1st National Music Day as well as presenting the Genesis Prince’s Trust concert for the commercial radio network.
Steve’s extensive media experience led him to set up his media training Company, Talk of the Devil in 1996 and is responsible for working on the development of various music artists including the Spice Girls, James Blunt, S Club 7, Katie Melua, Jamelia, Westlife, Paolo Nutini and Corinne Bailey Rae.
His TV credits include a 10 part TV series for Discovery Home and Leisure called Trainspotting and a series of sell through videos of England footballers.
He made his acting debut in the award winning 2016 film K-Shop as well as appearing in the stage musical, Spamalot.
Steve now lives in Hampshire and also spends time at his home in South West France.

Wave 105 launched on 14th June 1998 and broadcast across South Hampshire, Isle Of Wight, West Sussex and Wiltshire on 105.2 FM and 105.8 FM.
Wave was one the most popular old style commercial radio stations in the UK with a huge and very loyal audience. The key to it’s big success was the consistent presenter line-up including Steve Power, Mark Collins, Rick Jackson, Tim Allen and Andy Jackson (some had been with the station for over 20 years). Past presenters included Andy Sheldon, Matt Hopper, Carlos and Simon Clarke.
In September 2022, 105.8 FM in South Dorset became Greatest Hits Radio. 105.2 FM followed on 29th March 2024.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - One more unusually cool night ahead with lots of 50s for lows with several sheltered locations having a good chance to ease into the upper 40s once again.
While sunshine and low humidity remain in tomorrow’s forecast, summer warmth gradually creeps back into the area. Temperatures climb into the upper 70s and low 80s Thursday afternoon.
Another “cool-ish” night for Thursday night but humidity levels will start to inch upward across the area...leading to a slight increase in overnight low temperatures.
By the end of the week, we’ll be reminded that it is still August and summer is far from over. Heat and humidity build back in starting Friday as highs reach the mid to upper 80s.
The weekend will feature the return to 90-degree weather…at least around 90 or into the lower 90s. The heat will build next week with low rain chances overall. There is a risk for gusty thunderstorms early next week, otherwise the next decent chance looks to be toward next Friday (or later).
