Live reviews
Turnover look like an unassuming bunch of guys, bordering on shy even. Then the music starts and a blast of energy is released. The Virginia Beach pop-punk band put on a high octane live show and the crowd react accordingly. You are more or less guaranteed crowd surfing and stage dives every night as it only takes a few diehard fans to get the crowd fired up.
That’s the beauty of a band like this. Whilst they may never crossover and blow up and reach world domination levels, every night they can play to a group of people who their music means the absolute world to. Everyone in the audience knows every word to every song and will sing along with a heartfelt ferocity that will nearly drown out the band on some nights. The band feed off this energy and it injects a kick into their tight set which has been perfected over years of touring. Every time Turnover go on stage they probably make a few dedicated fans’ years and as a band I don’t think they could wish for anything more.

Turnover was just alright. They really didn't fit the bill of this show being surrounded by punk acts.
They played their two new songs and a lot of Peripheral Visions. None of their old stuff, though. Seems like they want to distance themselves from that.
Their stage presence was almost nonexistent which is fine because it suits the shoegaze-y/dream pop kind of vibe they have going. But they played super tight and it sounded exactly like I was listening to the record.
Unfortunately, they were rather quiet compared to the other acts which didn't help them at all especially considering the mosh-pit inducing punk that played the rest of the night.
Overall, they were decent but they really didn't fit in playing with Sorority Noise, Citizen, and Milkteeth
Turnover is a phenomenal band live. I have been a follower since 2013, and their music has been a life-changer. I've been to a lot of concerts, and I can attest to the amazing quality of their live shows. An otherwise calm crowd was absolutely wild for their performance, and Austin engaged the crowd perfectly. He came off the stage after the show in a small venue and gave out autographs and took pictures with anyone who wanted one at the show. A wonderful experience with one of my favorite bands.
The concert was phenomenal. I was thoroughly happy with the set list, and the performance was spectacular. I would definitely wear better shoes next time though because the concert was extremely long. The prices of the merch were reasonable, and the bar staff was very nice. I felt totally safe the whole time and the bands chosen to open fit the vibe perfectly. All in all, a wonderful show, and I would totally do it again.
Turnover was so much fun to see. They sound exactly like they do on the album and the crowd was tons of fun and loved it. They didn't have to jump around or joke like other hands, they were just purely talented and a very enjoyable show.
Turnover were incredible. Their stage presence was great and the atmosphere of the whole gig was amazing, especially when they played songs from Peripheral Vision. It was really nice to see so many people there who love them
Turnover are a great band to see live, both vocals and instrumentation are as good as their recordings. They also have a great stage presence and almost always have accompanying visuals. Definitely wouldn't miss out
Awesome venue and a fantastic performance from the openers, (can't remember their name) Elvis Depressly, and especially Turnover. It was great to see my favorite band in action. Rock on guys!
They were phenomenal in person. The vibe was angelic yet exciting. Felt entranced by their presence. They sounded amazing and I'm glad I was able to go and see them live
Thank you for the amazing show. I really hope you can go to Colombia. There is a lot of people that will be really happy (as I was)with tour show. You guys are amazing
