Handy for travel.

I visit North Wales from the States twice a year, and this app has been my savior the last few holidays! Made it by bus from Caernarfon to places like Beaumaris, Conwy, Harlech, Llanberis, Rhuddlan, Criccieth, Beddgelert, Betws-y-Coed, Blaenau Ffestiniog- just to name a few! Very handy, ESP.if using iPhone.

What is Traveline Cymru?

Traveline Cymru is a public transport information service funded by the Welsh Government. We work in partnership with operators and local authorities to provide public transport information across Wales for bus, coach and train, as well as walking and cycling routes.

Our purpose is to offer a 'one-stop-shop' for travel information, where you can find all the journey information you’ll need in one place, in a few simple steps.

What Services do Traveline Cymru Offer?

Bi-lingual contact centre.

You can call our bi-lingual Contact Centre on our freephone number 0800 464 0000 with any journey planning queries you may have.

Our Contact Centre agents, based in Penrhyndeudraeth, North Wales, are available between 7am – 8pm daily, throughout the year. We provide limited service on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Our journey planner is here to help you find the best public transport routes for your journey. Once you’ve made your search, you will see all the available route options along with all the information you’ll need to make that journey displayed clearly on one page, including:

• Journey times

Disruptions

Here you will be able to enter your bus service number into the search box, or alternatively enter your location to view bus services running in that area. You will then be able to view the full timetable for these services, with the option to download and print these timetables to keep.

Replacing our former Bus Stop Finder, the Travel Map allows you to see all bus stops, train stations, park & ride stop and Nextbike stations within your searched location. You can then select on any of the travel icons shown on the map to discover more information.

We will post any disruptions or changes to public transport services that we are aware of on our disruptions page. You will be able to search for any disruptions via service number, operator and date, so you can find the information you need quickly and easily.

If you sign up to us with an account, you will be able to save your favourite journeys, timetables or bus stops, making the information you regularly use easily accessible. You can also tailor the disruptions to only show your favourite services, making your experience with us personalised to suit you.

Mobile App and Text Service

We offer a free bi-lingual mobile app, which will allow you to plan your journey, as well as find timetables and bus stops on the go. The app is currently available on iPhone and Android devices.

We also offer a text message service, which will send information on your next bus times directly to your mobile phone.
