And then there’s our wildlife… long before swimming pigs became a ‘thing’, Ship Channel Cay island was home to wild pigs that settled there many, many years before we were on the cay.

They would regularly come down to the beach and nudge a guest for a treat, or just lounge in the sun before cooling off in the water, unphased by the sharks lazily circling close by, or the stingrays gliding up and down the shallow sands.

Today, the swimming pigs on the island are still as friendly, still as cheeky, and still as cute! Our love and respect for the pigs, sharks and stingrays prompted us to ensure all our crew were fully trained in both handling the wildlife and ensuring our guests are kept safe throughout the day.

(Flight charter upgrades available) Sit back and relax, with drinks included, as we cruise you around the stunning Exuma Cays on the spacious 32ft Powerboat. Our expert Bahamian Guides will give you a running commentary with information and stories about all the local islands and wildlife. Stops along the Tour include:

Since you will be enjoying a Private Tour, you can choose how to spend your boat tour duration; spend longer or shorter at stops, or skip spots altogether. Our Private Tours benefit from itinerary customisation.

This is a Full Day adventure beginning at 8:30am and finishing approximately by 4:30pm. Because of the large distances involved, the journey from Great Exuma to Pig Beach (Big Major Cay) is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes by Powerboat (without stops on the way). For Operational Reasons it may not be possible to stop at all stops on the itinerary, please review the Tour Important Notes below.

Departure Information & Hotel Transfers This tour departs from Barraterre Dock, Great Exuma. Barraterre is 55 minute drive north of Georgetown. Transfers to/from Barraterre Dock are not included in the price, these can be arranged for additional fees. Morning Departure: 08:30AM Tour Duration: 8 hours Customers should plan to arrive at the dock 30 minutes prior to your departure time. Barraterre Dock Location: open in google maps

Pricing Private Tour: $3,900 Total , excluding Fees (valid for upto 8 Persons). For group sizes of 9-12 Persons, each additional person over 8 persons, is charged at $300pp. Pricing is as a fully Private Boat Excursion. See list below for what’s not included. Please let us know if you have any specific questions about the type or size of boats used for the private day trips. Please contact us for questions about group sizes.

FLY to the Exuma Pigs: Private Tour by Plane from Georgetown Airport Choose our Private Day Trip by Plane for the ultimate Great Exuma Excursion! Fly roundtrip from Georgetown Airport (GGT) to Staniel Cay Airport (TYM) and enjoy stunning views of the Exuma Cays on the short 30 minute flight and avoid the longer journey times endured on our Powerboat Tours (You’ll save the 45 min oneway road transfer to the Dock and the 1 hour 45 minute one boat ride each way). Once at Staniel Cay you will enjoy a full 4 hours on a Private Boat visiting all 7 of the Exuma Attractions before flying back to Great Exuma.

Boat & Maximum Group Size The 32ft Boat accommodates upto 12 Persons. Review the Seating layout for the 32ft boat here .

Important Notes Each participant must complete a signed waiver before commencing the tour. The tour operator will send these electronically along with your tour confirmation email. Confirmation of your booking and place on the tour is only made after both payment and issue of the confirmation email. Submitting the booking enquiry form on this website does not confirm your booking. We encourage customers to book as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment. Last minute booking requests during peak season (Christmas, March-July) can be hard to fulfil. We can’t guarantee all stops on the tour itinerary due to operational reasons, weather, sea conditions and progress of the group along the tour route.

Booking Terms and Cancellation Policy Reservations cancelled more than 5-days prior to Tour Departure will be offered a credit or refund less 5% Card Processing Fee. Reservations cancelled within 5-days but more than 24 hours before the Tour Departure are strictly non-refundable and a credit will be offered to permit a rebooking within 12 months. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the Tour Departure and cancellations made on the Day of Departure (or No-Shows) are strictly non-refundable and the Customer forfeits the full amount of the reservation. Customers with Reduced Mobility Customers will have to agree and acknowledge that no one in their party is heavily pregnant, cannot easily walk up a flight of steps, cannot climb a swim ladder unassisted, cannot kneel/bend easily, cannot swim, or has neck/back/mobility issues; and understand that the Tour Operator reserves the right to decline boarding at the dock in the interest of safety.

Bad Weather Policy Tours operate Rain or Shine. We may have to cancel tours ahead of time during adverse weather events; this includes tropical storms, stormy weather and when wind speeds are more than 18mph. Weather cancellation is rare. Weather in the Bahamas is generally scattered clouds with isolated but fast moving thunderstorms. It is likely you may encounter a rain shower during your tour.  If you decide to cancel your reservation or curtail your tour, because you decide not to travel due to weather, you would be subject to our restrictive cancellation policy and may not receive any refund. If We/Operator cancel your tour in its entirety, prior to departure, due to weather you will be entitled to a reschedule (subject to availability), a credit or a refund.  The tour Operator may have to curtail or terminate the tour early due to weather or sea conditions, therefore we can’t guarantee all stops along the tour itinerary.
