Produced by Live Nation Canada, the tour will hit cities nationwide, kicking off at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia on Monday, June 3 and wrapping up in Vancouver on June 25. Snoop Dogg Takes A Trip North of the Border for Cali to Canada Tour

The iconic west coast rapper is going on an 11-date canadian-exclusive tour this june, showing love to cities in every prairie province, as well as ontario, quebec and nova scotia..

West coast rap icon Snoop Dogg is leaving California behind this summer for a trip north of the border. Snoop will perform 11 dates across the country on his Cali to Canada Tour, presented by Live Nation Canada.

The tour kicks off in Halifax on June 3 and closes out in Vancouver on June 25. Joining Snoop on all dates are fellow G-Funk trailblazers Warren G and DJ Quik.

Over 30 years after his 1993 debut, Doggystyle , Snoop remains a major name in entertainment. The multi-platinum musician has three No. 1 hits to his name and dozens of Hot 100 hits. He released his 20th album, B.O.D.R. , in 2022, following his acquisition of Death Row Records, the label that first launched him to fame.

Snoop last performed in Canada in summer 2023, on a joint tour with Wiz Khalifa that came to Toronto and Vancouver. This time around, though, he's showing love to cities in every Prairie province, as well as Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia.

POP Montréal celebrates Lhasa de Sela almost 15 years after her disappearance.

The 2024 POP Montréal edition, which will take place from September 25 to 29, will be marked by the unique concert La Route Chante: Hommage à Lhasa. This will be held at the Rialto Theater in Mile End, the district where the American felt at home, closing the festival on September 29. His friends and collaborators, but also a new generation of musicians who were influenced by the musician who died in 2010, will perform his songs on stage.

Under the musical direction of Joe Grass, Feist, Calexico, Juana Molina, Silvana Estrada, Klô Pelgag, Myriam Gendron, Bibi Club, Helena Deland, La Force, The Barr Brothers, Laurence Anne, Yves Desrosiers, Samantha de la Vega and the Stone Bonnet Choir will rock POP Montreal with their covers of Lhasa de Sela.

At the same time, Lhasa de Sela's posthumous album with Yves Desrosiers, First Recordings , will be released on September 27. Its first single, El Cosechero, will be released on June 5.

POP Montréal's 2024 lineup includes artists of all styles and from all backgrounds, including the Americans Iris DeMent and Mannie Fresh and the French group Edith Nylon. Among the Canadians who will perform during the festival are Beverly Glenn-Copeland, plus 2000s Montreal indie rock favourites Stars and The Dears.

Among the other names appearing in the programming for the 23rd edition of POP Montréal, highlights include SAM.IITO, Alix Fernz, Emilie Kahn, Mimi O'bonsawin, Unessential Oils, Erika Angell, Afternoon Bike Ride, Fernie, Homeshake, Los Bitchos and Kroy.

Today, entertainment icon and rapper  Snoop Dogg  announces  High School Reunion Tour  with  Wiz Khalifa, Too $hort, Warren G, and Berner  featuring special guest  DJ Drama.  Produced by Live Nation, the massive 33-city tour kicks off on Friday July 7 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver making stops across the U.S. in Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston and more before wrapping up in Irvine at  FivePoint Amphitheatre  on Saturday August 27.

About Wiz Khalifa:

Multi-platinum selling, GRAMMY and Golden Globe nominated recording artist Wiz Khalifa burst onto the scene with the release of his first major label debut album, ROLLING PAPERS‎ in 2011. ‎ROLLING PAPERS spawned the hugely successful hits “Black and Yellow,” “Roll Up,” and “No Sleep” and gave Wiz the platform to win the award for “Best New Artist” at the 2011 BET Awards and “Top New Artist” at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. “Black and Yellow” also earned him his first two GRAMMY nods for “Best Rap Performance” and “Best Rap Song”. In February 2018, Wiz partnered with Sovereign Brands to create McQueen and the Violet Fog, an Award winning gin and rated by the NY Times as the “Best Gin”.. In July 2022, Wiz released his full-length solo album MULTIVERSE, to rave reviews, as well as MULTIVERSE (DELUXE) which included three additional tracks, “We Can Get More”, “Funkin”, and “Lost”. This spring, Wiz will star as George Clinton in the upcoming motion picture, Spinning Gold, to be released in theaters on March 31, 2023.

About Too $hort:

Todd “Too $hort” Shaw is a multiplatinum hip-hop artist, songwriter and entrepreneur that hails from Oakland, California. Over the course of his illustrious career as an artist, $hort has cemented his legacy as a hip-hop heavyweight and pioneer of West Coast rap, having amassed six platinum albums and four gold certifications with smash songs like  “Blow the Whistle,”   “Shake That Monkey,”   “The Ghetto,” “Gettin It”  and more. With the release of his 22 nd  solo studio album ( Ain’t Gone Do It)  in December 2020, $hort earned the unique distinction of becoming the only active hip-hop artist to have released an album in five different decades, punctuating an already vast catalog that included acclaimed albums such as  Life Is… Too Short, Short Dog’s in the House, Shorty the Pimp, Get In Where You Fit In, Cocktails, Gettin’ It (Album Number Ten), etc.  He is also the only artist to have collaborated with Tupac, The Notorious B.I.G. and JAY-Z.  

About Warren G:

The cultural influence of groundbreaking American rapper, record producer, media personality, philanthropist, and entrepreneur WARREN G (born Warren Griffin III) remains as urgent today as his 1994, multi-platinum-selling smash “Regulate.” Recorded with childhood friend and iconic superstar Nate Dogg, the track would define the rap genre and a generation.
