Background [ ]

The Re-Invention World Tour was Madonna's sixth concert tour in support of her ninth studio album  American Life . In 2003, Madonna collaborated with photographer Steven Klein for an art installation project called  X-STaTIC Pro=CeSS . The installation portrayed Madonna in different incarnations of her spiritual practices – from yogi, prophet, queen to freak and pole dancer. The publication was a worldwide success, leading to a number of exhibitions in New York, London, Paris, Düsseldorf, Berlin and Florence. After the exhibition was over, Madonna was inspired by the images from the exhibitions and decided to incorporate them into her then unplanned tour and asked Klein to help her with the task. The poster released for the tour used one of the images from the installation project. It featured Madonna in a seventeenth century style dress, crawling on all fours towards the camera.

The main intention of the tour was to transform Madonna's old hits musically and display her capacity for transformation and self-reflection. The tour was initially known as the Whore of Babylon World Tour, although Madonna later denied using this name. The idea was to portray Madonna as the Whore of Babylon, the figure of evil as mentioned in the Book of Revelation. However it was later changed to the Re-Invention World Tour, to make it a self-confident dig at all the critics and people who have expressed their views about Madonna re-inventing her image over the years. The official tour poster displayed Madonna in a vintage bolero gown and a large French Renaissance-like hair-bun. Air-conditioning was turned off during the tour on Madonna's request as she claimed it dried up her throat during singing.

Development [ ]

I Love New York Fresno

Madonna was supposed to debut " I Love New York " in a different version for the tour, but it was remade for Confessions on a Dance Floor .

During the rehearsals of the tour, the show rehearsals would start with I'm So Stupid and Dress You Up . But they were later dropped from the show. Other songs taken out from the initial set list include Love Profusion , Swim , Live to Tell and Take a Bow . The opening song for the show was decided as Vogue for a long time, until Madonna decided to use "The Beast Within" as the opener. The finale of the show was decided to be Holiday rather than Die Another Day with Imagine being added to the setlist. Two new tracks rehearsed for the show included Devil Wouldn't Recognize You and I Love New York . I Love New York was then remade as a dance track for her tenth studio album  Confessions on a Dance Floor , while Devil Wouldn't Recognize You was included in her eleventh studio album  Hard Candy . Ray of Light was also rehearsed during the initial phases, but Madonna later decided to eliminate it, as performing the song at the beginning of the show would hurt her voice beforehand. Finally twenty-four of the thirty rehearsed songs ended up on being the official setlist for the show.

The costumes for the tour were created by designer Arianne Phillips. Before the show started,  USA Today  reported that Madonna will be making five costume changes in the tour. Phillips commented that since Madonna was revisiting her old songs for this tour, hence that was the main philosophy and inspiration behind designing the costumes. However she also noted that "Madonna has always pooh-poohed the concept of reinvention and doesn't strategize or premeditate her new look in a boardroom, so this is the greatest ironic statement of all." The T-shirts were designed by Jean-Paul Gaultierand the shoes used were provided by clothing line hosiery Miu Miu. The opening dress was created by French designer Christian Lacroix and incorporated the baroque look. The second part of the displayed military themed outfits inspired from the  American Life  album and designed by Phillips. The third ensemble emphasized on the emotional point of the show and hence the costumes were quieter and displayed thesilhouettes of the performers. The costumes of this segment were designed by Stella McCartney. Phase four costumes, inspired by the carnivals, were designed by Chanel. The final segment of the tour displayed traditional dresses. Other than these, Madonna wore corsets during the first segment.

Tour schedule

While the schedule of the Re-Invention Tour was more extensive than the Drowned World Tour , it still concentrated only on North America and Europe. Kicking off in Los Angeles on May 24, 2003 the tour consisted of 56 shows , mostly at indoor arendas, in 7 countries. After it wrapped up, the tour was named as the highest grossing tour of 2004 , earning $125 million.

Tour setlist

The name of the tour was supposedly Guy Ritchie's suggestion, while several other rumoured titles circled online, including 'Whore Of Babylon', 'Ground 0' or 'Nobody Knows Me'. While the tour promoted her latest album American Life , there were more hits included than the previous Drowned World Tour , according to Madonna to 'redress the balance'.

Tour diary & reviews

Throughout the tour, we kept a tour diary with specific details for each show: North America - Europe

We also saved some press reviews to give you an idea how the show was received by critics: North America - Europe

Tour crew & collaborators

We recognize many crew and band members from previous tours. In the documentary I'm Going To Tell You A Secret , we get to know the dancers a bit better. Costumes for this tour were designed by Stella McCartney, Karl Lagerfeld, Christian LaCroix and Arianne Phillips .

Tour recording

The final shows in Lisbon, Portugal were planned to be recorded by Hamish Hamilton for a DVD release. However, due to a dispute between him and Madonna, this recording never happened and he filed a lawsuit against her. This also explains why the show was never broadcast on TV. There's some footage of the Lisbon show, shot by Christian Lamb , but this was mainly meant for the venue screens and is not sufficient for a DVD release. This recording later surfaced on the Internet and is likely the only full version we'll ever get to see. The  I'm Going To Tell You A Secret documentary includes tour footage by Jonas Åkerlund , mostly from the show in Paris, France.

Ranking 30 Years Of Madonna's Tours: Which One Is The Greatest?

During this week in 1985, a fresh-faced pop star named Madonna  embarked on her first-ever concert tour, aptly titled The Virgin Tour . Little did concertgoers know, they were in the presence of arguably pop's most dynamic performer (next to Michael Jackson , of course). Since The Virgin Tour , Madge has embarked on a total of nine stage shows and will begin her 10th — The Rebel Heart Tour  — later this year. There's no question her tours are both amazing  and  profitable — her 2008 Sticky & Sweet Tour is the highest-grossing solo artist trek in history — but which one reigns supreme? We're about to find out.

Picking the best Madonna tour is like picking the tastiest flavor of ice cream. They're  all  good for different reasons, and you might instantly regret ranking one over the other. Nevertheless, we took on the challenge. We factored in setlists, special effects, choreography and iconic moments in making our final decision. Get ready for a lot of vogueing.

9. The Virgin Tour (1985)

Lady M's debut show is definitely energetic and full of '80s teen bombast; however, it lacks the style and sophistication of her other tours. Granted, she was only 26, but to put The Virgin Tour on the same level as something like The Re-Invention Tour is criminally wrong. While the throwback setlist is gold —"Holiday," "Into the Groove," and "Everybody" are performed  in a row — The Virgin Tou r just isn't up to par with Madge's other efforts.

8. Drowned World Tour (2001)

Drowned was Madonna's return to the stage after an eight-year touring hiatus. Despite being a shape-shifting visual feast — one second, she's cyber-punk; the next, a cowgirl — something about this tour feels very cold and vacant. The show's sheer lack of classic hits (only four, and that's if you include "Secret") was a letdown for audiences,  not to mention the fact Madge seemed icier than ever. In a review of the Drowned World Tour , a  New York Times  writer noted, "[Madonna] represents self-love backed by plenty of gym time and a whole troupe of devoted flunkies, all laboring to delight an audience she only seems to disdain." Yikes. And we thought music brought the people together .

7. The MDNA Tour (2012)

In her most recent stage show, Madonna spared no expense to let us know she was angry. (During the performance of "Gang Bang," she fake-shoots her dancers with several guns while blood  projects on large screens. Working through Guy Ritchie demons, perhaps?) After the original shock of "WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?!" wears off, The MDNA Tour is actually a very solid concert that harkens to Madonna's earlier themes of sex, religion and playing the shock factor for all its worth. In a slowed-down version of "Like a Virgin," she literally strips for the audience and demands tips. But that's not to say the show doesn't have its lighter moments; the cheerleader-inspired renditions of "Express Yourself" and "Give Me All Your Luvin'" are spellbinding, and "Open Your Heart" gets an electrifying makeover. Madonna really should have closed the show with "Give Me All Your Luvin,'" because her  "Celebration" finale might be the most disappointing in her career.

6. Sticky & Sweet Tour (2008-2009)

S&S is living proof a show can get by on splashy sets and practically aerobic choreography. You can't hate this tour because it's just so damn fun.  From the bright colors that perfectly match the candy theme to the predominantly uptempo setlist (including "Borderline"), the Sticky & Sweet Tour is a tireless display of  showmanship. A sugar rush, really.

5. The Girlie Show (1993)

Madonna's Erotica persona reached new heights in The Girlie Show , a sleek and sexy concert divided into segments like "Dominatrix" and "Studio 54." Yup. It's a must-watch for any diehard Madge fan, especially because it's the last time she performed "Justify My Love" live. (And no, The MDNA Tour dance interlude doesn't count.)

4.   Who's That Girl World Tour (1987)

OK, so maybe it's not as stylish as The Girlie Show , but Who's That Girl wins for its ~iCoNiC "Open Your Heart" opener and setlist that rivals any Madonna tour to date. The show includes some of M's most effervescent performing, so it's definitely worth revisiting.

3. Confessions Tour (2006)

Starting with the Donna Summer -infused "Future Lovers" and ending with the ABBA- tinged "Hung Up," the Confessions Tour took audiences to the dance floor. Literally. Madonna used this show to explore different types of dance, from  Saturday Night Fever -era disco to new wave and even hip-hop. Oh, did we also mention that she hung from a cross (yup, like Jesus) to sing "Live to Tell?" Because that was a thing that happened. Despite the controversy, the Confessions Tour remains one of Madge's most ambitious treks ever.

2. Re-Invention World Tour (2004)

Supporting perhaps her weakest album (2003's American Life ), the Re-Invention Tour is actually one of Madonna's strongest shows. The warmth and happiness M radiated on this trek was a far cry from 2001's hollow Drowned World Tour . The setlist also included  "Material Girl," "Papa Don't Preach" and "Holiday," among other classic hits, thus ending Madonna's oldies ban. With this tour, M proved her greatest reinvention could just be showing more of herself. (Also, she opens with "Vogue," which is everything. )

1. Blond Ambition Tour (1990)

This. Tour. Blond Ambition doesn't compare to any other pop show. Period. Madonna pulled out all the stops for this tour, from the Jean-Paul Gaultier cone bra that later became her signature look, to simulating masturbation on stage during "Like a Virgin" and questioning the Catholic Church in "Live to Tell"/"Oh Father." Simply put, the Blond Ambition Tour solidified Madonna's status as a cultural tour-de-force and groundbreaking pop artist . Rolling Stone  seems to agree, because it dubbed Blond Ambition the best tour of the '90s. Damn straight.

Madonna

In 1974, at the age of 15, Madonna snuck out of her father’s house in suburban Detroit to attend David Bowie’s Diamond Dogs Tour. She was summarily grounded for the summer, but the punishment was worth it. “I don’t think that I breathed for two hours. It was the most amazing show that I’d ever seen,” Madonna said during a speech inducting the Thin White Duke into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1996.

Madonna’s first two tours, 1985’s Virgin Tour and 1987’s Who’s That Girl World Tour, served as experiment labs for the burgeoning superstar. In 1990, her Blond Ambition World Tour revolutionized the pop concert. Drawing inspiration from Bowie’s theatricality, Prince’s cheeky flamboyance and Michael Jackson’s stage command, she offered audiences an immersive experience that went beyond conventional live performance.

Each of Madonna’s subsequent tours have pushed the boundaries even further, embracing technology for multimedia (and multi-sensory) presentations of her music. On the heels of her own induction into the Rock Hall of Fame in 2008, the singer’s Sticky & Sweet Tour became the highest grossing tour for a female artist in history – a record she held until 2023, when it was finally eclipsed by Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour, according to Billboard Boxscore.

Madonna could have hung up her corset long ago and she would still be one of the most successful live acts of all time. But she continues to push herself – and us. Her latest trek, the career-spanning Celebration Tour, will wrap up with a historic free show at Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on May 4. The concert will be broadcast live on TV Globo and will likely see Madonna performing for her biggest audience to date – more than 40 years into her career.

To get in on the celebration, we’ve ranked all 12 of Madonna’s boundary-busting tours.

The Virgin Tour (1985)

Madonna

Madonna’s very first tour was propelled, like most things related to the queen, almost entirely on the strength of her sheer force of will — and, of course, her raw talent. A magnetic and skilled performer (that toss and catch of the tambourine!), Madonna sprinted through a relatively short setlist culled largely from her first two albums, dancing and belting out hits like “Into the Groove” and “Burning Up” like her rent was due yesterday. But she didn’t need to worry about paying the bills for long: When the tour kicked off in April 1985, she was playing modest theaters; two months later, she was performing to a sold-out crowd of Madonna wannabes at Madison Square Garden.

Who’s That Girl World Tour (1987)

Madonna

Compared to the Virgin Tour just two years earlier, Madonna stepped up the production values, choreography and theatricality for her first world (and stadium) tour. Dramatic performances of “Papa Don’t Preach,” “Live to Tell” and her then-most recent No. 1 on the Hot 100, “Who’s That Girl,” hinted at what was to come on future tours in terms of spectacle and ambition. Though it was only her second tour, Who’s That Girl would become the last of Madonna’s shows to resemble a conventional pop-rock concert.

Re-Invention World Tour (2004)

Madonna

Coming off of the commercial disappointment of her 2003 album American Life , Madonna returned to the place she’s always thrived: the stage. The Re-Invention Tour was nothing she hadn’t done before or wouldn’t do better in the future, but — for the first time in years — she was embracing her past, performing rocked-out renditions of early hits “Burning Up” and “Material Girl” with electric guitar in hand, and even reinventing a few fan favorites like “Hanky Panky” and “Deeper and Deeper.” As for the queen herself, she was in top form both vocally and physically.

Madame X Tour (2019-2020)

Madonna

Part jukebox musical, part avant-garde performance art and part standup special, the Madame X Tour revolved around a James Baldwin quote… and a typewriter. Yes, Madame X is a stenographer. The tour took place in theaters and opera houses instead of the usual arenas, offering a more intimate and interactive experience. Highlights included a jazzy version of “Human Nature,” a neo-noir restaging of “Vogue” and a crowd sing-along to the resistance anthem “I Rise.”

Rebel Heart Tour (2015-2016)

Madonna

A blend of Cirque du Soleil, Broadway and burlesque, the Rebel Heart Tour saw dancers swinging on 10-foot stilts, dressed as nuns on stripper poles and sliding down giant LED screens. As for Madonna, she seemed more at ease on stage than ever, playing the coy chanteuse a la Blond Ambition and strumming the ukulele to “True Blue” – the first time she’d performed the song in nearly three decades. In fact, Rebel Heart was heavier on the hits than any tour since Re-Invention, including a Latin-infused medley of classics “Dress You Up,” “Into the Groove” and “Lucky Star,” as well as a modern twist on “Material Girl.”

Sticky & Sweet Tour (2008-2009)

Madonna

After a first act that didn’t quite live up to the lofty standards Madonna had previously set, the Sticky & Sweet Tour eventually hit its stride. The ‘Gypsy’ and ‘Rave’ segments in particular – including an electrifying rendition of “La Isla Bonita” featuring Ukrainian group Kolpakov Trio and a heavy metal version of “Hung Up,” which ended with Madonna shredding her guitar to Pantera’s “A New Level” – were as exhilarating as any of her previous tours’ best moments.

The Celebration Tour (2023-2024)

Madonna

Madonna’s latest tour is the sight and sound of a legend fully embracing her legacy. With no new album to promote, the setlist is packed with so many iconic songs – including a handful she’s never performed on tour before, such as “Bedtime Story” and “Bad Girl” – that more than a dozen of her 28 top 5 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 had to be omitted. A musical recounting of the Queen of Pop’s life and career, the Celebration Tour touches on her rise to fame in New York, the AIDS crisis (via a stirring rendition of “Live to Tell”), the media backlash she suffered in the early ‘90s and her spiritual rebirth, in which she rises like an AI phoenix on a glowing cube and — quicker than a ray of light — soars above the crowd. Masterful.

Drowned World Tour (2001)

Madonna

Pioneered by bands like U2, live concerts had moved closer to multimedia presentations in the years since The Girlie Show in 1993, and Madonna fully embraced the artistic potential that new technology allowed. For her first tour in eight years, Madonna pulled out all of the stops: smoke machines, acrobatic stunts, line-dancing, even Japanese anime. And with only a handful of older songs making the cut – including tour staples “Holiday” and “Human Nature” – she proved she was still laser-focused on the present… and the future.

The MDNA Tour (2012)

Madonna

Coming on the heels of Madonna’s iconic halftime performance at Super Bowl XLVI, the maximalist MDNA Tour was one of her most ambitious, employing elaborate stage combat, slacklining, Tetris-style cubes that rose 16 feet above the stage and a backdrop of eight rotating video screens. It was also one of her most intense shows. At 54, Madonna was in peak form, performing intricate choreography in spiked stilettos nonstop for two hours straight. The only chance she had to take a breath was during a surprisingly poignant piano version of “Like a Virgin” … after which the air was literally squeezed from her lungs by a corset being tightened around her.

The Girlie Show (1993)

Madonna

Inspired by cabaret and classic Hollywood musicals, The Girlie Show was a visual tour-de-force. The second act, dubbed ‘Studio 54,’ rivaled the ‘Religious’ segment from Blond Ambition for sheer catharsis, with the freedom of the orgiastic disco era (“Deeper and Deeper”) juxtaposed with the subsequent AIDS crisis (“In This Life”), as well as a captivating fever dream of choreography set to a remix of “Justify My Love.” Madonna was in fine voice throughout, growling her way through “Express Yourself” and harmonizing beautifully on “Rain.” She’s never had a better live band, either — and even mused about collaborating with them on an album, though it sadly never materialized.

Blond Ambition World Tour (1990)

Madonna

With its elaborate costumes (courtesy of French designer Jean-Paul Gaultier), Broadway-style sets (designed by Madonna’s brother Christopher Ciccone) and quasi-narrative arc, the Blond Ambition Tour is the blueprint – the mother of the modern pop concert. The show infamously found Madonna exorcising herself of the guilt of her Catholic upbringing. The ‘Religious’ segment, which began with the singer simulating masturbation and ended with her facing the judgment of the male authority figures in her life (her father, the Pope, God), is among the most audaciously conceived and impeccably executed moments of stagecraft in touring history.

Confessions Tour (2006)

Madonna

The Confessions Tour snags the top spot on our list for two reasons. First, it served as a culmination of everything Madonna had learned from Blond Ambition through Re-Invention, combining spectacle, drama and good ol’ fashioned performance mojo. Like its namesake, 2005’s Grammy-winning Confessions on a Dance Floor , the show struck a deft balance between dance-party hedonism and intimate introspection. Madonna’s 2000 Hot 100 chart-topper “Music” was transformed into a roller-disco fantasia, while a haunting rendition of “Live to Tell” saw the veteran provocateur suspended from a giant disco-fied cross in order to shine a light on the plight of AIDS in Africa.

Most importantly, Confessions was Madonna’s most cohesive and consistently thrilling show to date. Musical director Stuart Price skillfully arranged and remixed early hits like “Erotica” and “Like a Virgin” to fit the Eurodisco aesthetic of Confessions . Plus, each act of the show was a visual and aural smorgasbord, from the opening equestrian segment, which found Madonna emerging from a giant glitter ball and commanding a stripper-poll-cum-carousel-horse, to the extended finale, which mashed up “Lucky Star” and “Hung Up” into a nearly 15-minute explosion of ear and eye candy.

Let's Talk About This Rumored Madonna Tour Setlist

re invention tour setlist

Because it's pretty great.

An early rumored setlist for Madonna 's upcoming MDNA tour, which kicks off May 29 at Tel Aviv, Israel's Ramat Gan Stadium, has been kicking around the Interweb . It hasn't been confirmed, but the source is pretty darn dependable when it comes to Madonna matters, so we thought we'd bring it to you so we could talk it out.

Lending a bit more credibility to the rumored setlist, during her Facebook chat with Jimmy Fallon to promote MDNA , Madonna said that the theme of the show's first act would be "transgression." "I like to have a theme for my show and create a dramatic arc," she told Fallon. "Then I try to make the songs fit within that arc."

If we're talking transgressions, opening with a video intro of "Erotica"/"Justicy My Love" and segueing into "Girl Gone Wild," as you'll see below, seems right in line with the leaked set list.

Let's dive in, shall we!

MDNA Tour Setlist:

>> Video intro: Erotica/Justify My Love

>> Girl Gone Wild

>> I'm A Sinner

>> Express Yourself

>> Dress You Up

>> Physical Attraction

>> Video interlude: Some Girls

>> Causing A Commotion

>> I'm Addicted

>> Angel

>> Beautiful Killer

>> Secret

>> Video interlude: Gang Bang

>> Die Another Day

>> I Don't Give A

>> 4 Minutes

>> Love Spent

>> Masterpiece

>> Video interlude: Holiday (2012 remix)

>> Give Me All Your Luvin

>> Deeper And Deeper

>> Take A Bow/Falling Free

>> Music

>> Turn Up The Radio

There are two major things of note here, an inclusion and an absence, if these are indeed the songs Her Madgesty will be performing on her biggest (and largely sold out ) world tour ever.

Missing from the lineup: "La Isla Bonita." For reasons unknown, Madonna loves this song. She's performed it on three of her four tours of the aughts (she left it off the lineup for her 2004 "Re-Invention Tour") and jazzed it up with the help of Gogol Bordello for her performance at Live Earth. The song does lend itself well to the odd bit of tweaking, which Madonna often does to her classic hits to make them seem fresh for her current tours, but we've never really understood why she shows this song, out of all of her hits, so much preference.

In its place is a song most Madonna fans are probably dying to hear live – "Take a Bow." She's never performed "Bow," her longest-running #1 on the Billboard singles chart, on any of her tours, and if the rumored setlist is to be believed, she's pairing it with the spare, lovely MDNA ballad "Falling Free" as a medley. It's a good fit and a nice way to close her show.

Yes, we can see that "Music" and "Turn Up the Radio" follow "Bow" and "Free" on the setlist. But Madonna doesn't really do a conventional encore, and since each segment of the show is four or five songs in length and a "Bow"/"Free" medley feels so conclusive, we assume that "Music" and "Radio" are her version of it. Typically, she closes her show in some grand manner before disappearing from the stage briefly and returning for one or two more high octane numbers.

We're thrilled she picked the upbeat, glitter synth wonder "Radio" as her closing number. It's one of our favorite MDNA tracks – on our first listen, it was the unquestioned favorite ; but as with all Madonna albums, repeat listens have amped up our love for other songs.

And she's included many of our other MDNA faves here as well. "I'm Addicted," "Love Spent" and the Madonna-by-the-numbers (not necessarily a bad thing) "Girl Gone Wild" all make the alleged lineup, in addition to the awesome "Gang Bang" and "Some Girls," which are being used for video interludes.

However, she forgot two of the album's best and most personal tracks – "I F**ked Up" and "Superstar" – and included two of our least favorite songs, "I Don't Give A" and "I'm a Sinner" (which isn't so bad, we guess, until she starts calling out saints near the end). I'll never understand why "I F**ked Up" is a bonus track on the deluxe edition of MDNA and didn't make the proper album. For my money, it's easily one of the top three tracks from the entire release; it's smartly written, warmly produced and would have complimented the overall album theme nicely by letting Madonna take some of the blame for the failed relationship (hello, Guy Ritchie!) at the album's core. Instead she went with the silly, half-rap bravado of "I Don't Give A." Whatever.

As for the back catalog hits included here, she cherry-picked nicely. Casual longtime fans will freak over the inclusion of "Express Yourself," "Deeper and Deeper," "Secret" (YES!!!!) and "Dress You Up," while hardcore supporters will be pleased to hear "Physical Attraction," "Angel" and "Causing a Commotion" for the first time in, well, forever.

It looks like the pop queen is planning a little special something for every sort of Madonna fan – which should make for a pretty spectacular show (as usual). See you soon, Your Madgesty!

*Note: Perhaps we jumped the gun (bang, bang, shot you dead!) a little here, as Madonnarama is reporting some marked differences (and some similarities) to what we've detailed above. (Hey, we said it was rumored setlist.) In the end it looks like we're just going to have to wait and see! We admit we were a little suspicious about "Hung Up's" absence from the list, given how much she and her fans like that song.

re invention tour setlist

Feid is officially on tour! On Apr. 24, the Colombian artist kicked off his 2024 Ferxxocalipsis Tour at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA, giving his fans a glimpse of what to expect for his biggest arena tour.

Fans can look forward to an exciting setlist including hits like “Normal,” “LUNA,” and “Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo.” The highly-anticipated tour starts with animated figures talking to each other on the screens, then goes straight into “ALAKRAN.” Right after, the singer performs “50 PALOS,” “CHIMBITA,” “Lady Mi Amor,” “Castigo,” and “BUBALU,” in the first half of the show. Towards the end of this section, he slowed down the hype with an acoustic version of “FERXXO 30,” “Prohibidox,” and “PORFA.”

The second half features songs like “ESQUIRLA,” “Mojando Asientos,” “EY CHORY,” “Le Pido a DIOS,” and “ROMÁNTICOS DE LUNES.” He is also singing other hot collaborations like “Perro Negro,” “Classy 101,” and “Yandel 150,” throughout the showstopping green-hued performance.

As far as the stage design goes, he uses giant digital screens that amplify the star to a bigger-than-life status in the center of the venue. The innovative stage also has stairs that allow the singer to reach a higher platform. The structure overall gives Feid the opportunity to be near his fans from various angles . There are also disco balls to give a nightclub feel to the performance.

The Rolling Stones setlist: Here are all the songs on their Hackney Diamonds Tour

It doesn’t matter that both Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are 80.

As long as they’re sharing a stage, the Rolling Stones will continue to defy age and energy.

The band’s 16-city stadium sprint – sponsored, appropriately, by AARP – kicked off April 28 at NRG Stadium in Houston and will play through July 17 in Santa Clara, California. In between, the Rolling Stones will visit cities including Las Vegas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Cleveland and Chicago.

In October, the band released “Hackney Diamonds,” their first new album since 2005. For this complementary tour, Jagger, Richards and Ronnie Wood – along with durable supporting players Chuck Leavell, Darryl Jones, Matt Clifford, Karl Denson, Tim Ries, Steve Jordan (who assumed rhythm duties after the 2021 death of original drummer Charlie Watts ) and background vocalists Bernard Fowler and Chanel Haynes – shined on stage for two hours.

The 18-song set was stuffed with iconic rock anthems including “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” “Start Me Up,” and “Miss You”, along with a smattering of new songs from “Hackney,” including the Grammy-nominated “ Angry .”

Stadiums, which the band has played for nearly 50 years, still suit their blues-splattered rock and indefatigable frontman Jagger, who still slithers effortlessly, remains an undisputed legend.
