The de Mena family started selling travel in Havana, Cuba in 1943 and moved to Miami, Florida in 1961. For over 70 years, our family-owned, full-service, wholesale travel agency has been planning travels for corporate, leisure, religious, and honeymoon trips. Four generations of the De Mena family have worked toward the same goal: planning trips that are fully arranged, while offering outstanding 24/7 customer service, all at some of the industry’s most competitive rates. So we’ve literally got travel in our blood.

I have been using MENA TRAVEL for many years and they are simply amazing. Even times have changed and you might think that a travel agent is not needed, on them you have all the experience and humanized service you could encounter. I do recommend them 1000%.

From Colorado to the Bahamas to Greece to Hungary to California -- Mena Travel is our go-to travel agency when it comes to traveling for my family and I. Every year, our agent Eddie Mena plans several WOW trips for us and he never disappoints. The highlights include Napa Valley, Treasure Cay, Santorini and Vail. Eddie always makes sure every adventure goes off without a hitch and makes certain our accommodations are up to my chi chi von fancy standards. So if you are looking for a travel agent, Mena Travel is IT!

I got married this weekend in Cancun, Mexico and I CANNOT begin to tell you how great Mena Travel has been! Cecile (Ceci) was the agent that we worked with and she is an angel! If it wasn't for her, I don't know how I would have been able to pull this off. She coordinated hotel stays, air flights, and transportation. Ceci, thank you for making this experience flawless! Amazing company! We recently took a 2 week trip in which Mena planned it all! It was wonderful! The drivers picking us up at the airport were polite, friendly and on time! The hotels Were in great locations, the restaurants were superb, and the tours very interesting! Thank Mena travel for helping us create wonderful memories!

My family has used Mena Travel on many occasions and they are always very attentive and responsive. Cecile and Hilda Maria were excellent. They provided us not only air fare and hotel but transportation, meal recommendations, site-seeing excursions, rentals and activities which suited our entire family. Highly recommend them. Called the Agency to find out additional information for one of their packages. Angie, the lady on the phone, was super rude, seemed annoyed at answering all the questions I had and rushing to get off the phone. The vacation plan sounds great, but due to its poor customer service, I won't book with them.

My family recently used Mena Travel for a spring break trip to Mont Tremblant, Canada. Cecile was very thorough in her planning and took care of everything for us. She also had great recommendations on places to eat and things to do. I would highly recommend Mena and look forward to working with them to plan my next vacation.

My family just used Mena on a 2 week trip to Europe and they were amazing. All the hotels they recommended and booked for us were amazing, and the agency booked them for us at great rates. Mena travel is extremely reliable and easy to work with, and we will make sure to only use them going forward.

If you want to save yourself time, money and lots of headaches, I suggest you find yourself another agency, or prepare the trip yourself. Don't let their initial friendliness fool you, as their services are incredibly dissatisfying. I have never seen such disorganization and so many errors on a task. They initially gave us one quote and as time went by they kept increasing the costs; even worse, after paying more than expected, they did not deliver as promised. To name just a few of Mena Travel's mistakes, they messed up on departure times, overcharged our credit card (to later process a return, which was a hassle), booked a cruise for a 7-month pregnant woman (and when you log onto the cruise's website it clearly states that women past 24 weeks of pregnancy cannot travel), booked a room with 2 twin beds for a pregnant wife, her husband + a toddler (how were we supposed to fit?), booked a city-tour we did not request. When complaining to them about their services they threaten to cancel the entire trip (only weeks before departure). We tried to be as patient as possible, and let many of these mistakes go by, as we understand a 25-day trip to different cities is not easy to plan -that's why we hired a travel agency on the first place-, however after too many errors and lack of answers we were fed up and had to write this review because we really hope nobody else has to go through this when trying to plan a memorable trip.
