Free Spirit Tours – Paddling Claimed

Scenic Paddle 1.5 – 2 hours on either the Beaver River or Nottawasaga River. We provide boats at the access point. You put in and take out at the same spot, paddling up river and back.

Grab and Go Visit one of our locations to rent a canoe/kayak/SUP. You load it on your vehicle yourself and drive away. Before choosing this option, make sure your vehicle is properly equipped to safely transport your rental (pickup truck / roof rack / foam blocks / tie downs). Not sure? Please give us a call.

Beaver River – Access Point 2 – Epping

Includes all your equipment (kayak, sup or canoe / life jacket / paddle / safety kit)

Meet us at the Beaver River Access Point #2 and we will greet you there to get you going on your paddle. You’ll have the opportunity to see egrets, herons, cormorants, muskrat, turtles and so much more.

NOTTAWASAGA RIVER

Nottawasaga River  – Wasaga Sports Park – Jack’s Lake

Meet us in the Wasaga Sports Park (park near our “kayak rental” sign and walk past the Wasaga Sky Dive trailer towards the river). We will greet you there to get you going on your paddle into spectacular Jack’s Lake. The paddle goes through beautiful wilderness and you’ll have the opportunity to see bald eagles, trumpeter swans, osprey, beavers, turtles and so much more.

Cost Includes:  Boat, paddle, life jacket, safety kit, brief instruction Experience:  Beginners to Experienced – Both rivers are great for beginner paddlers. You’ll get a map of the river and be shown some paddle strokes to help you maneuver your boat. What to bring:  Water to drink (in a day pack so it’s easy to carry), a water resistant camera and sunscreen What to wear:  Sun hat, bathing suit, clothes you don’t mind getting wet, water shoes or sandals

Great and friendly service, great prices, highly recommended!

Got the 2 hour kayak rental for nottawasaga river. Upon arrival, the process was very straightforward and easy. Got paddles, life jackets, and we were walked to the river where the kayaks were waiting for us. Got a quick tip on using the paddles and off we went. Very peaceful, but a bit tiring. We saw swans and their babies. There is also a bald eagles nest but we didn't see it. Great activity to do before going to Wasaga beach.

The caving tour is so unique and cool! Our guide Tim was great and the cost is very reasonable. Highly recommend!
