Beyoncé: Renaissance World Tour

Following the wildly successful release of BEYONCÉ’s seventh studio album,  RENAISSANCE , the global superstar has announced  RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR  today, her first solo tour in over six years. Ticketing will begin Monday, February 6, 2023, starting with an exclusive presale to BeyHive members.

The 2023 tour, produced by Parkwood Entertainment, and promoted by Live Nation, kicks off on May 10, 2023, at Friends Arena in Stockholm, SE, making stops throughout Europe in Cardiff, Edinburgh, Sunderland, Paris, London, Marseille, Amsterdam, Warsaw and more. The tour then continues across North America with shows in Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston and more.

Renaissance World Tour 2023 North America Dates

Wondering if Beyoncé is playing a show in your area? Below are the remaining cities the Grammy winner will visit for the 2023 North American leg of the Renaissance tour . Beyoncé previously also added an additional three shows to the tour, including Atlanta (8/14/23), Las Vegas, (8/27/23), and Inglewood, CA (9/4/23).

Not surprisingly, Ticketmaster said it saw a massive demand for the Renaissance tour in a blog on its website. “Fan demand already exceeds the number of tickets available by more than 800% based on the registration numbers in the Group A cities. It is expected that many interested fans may not be able to get tickets because demand drastically exceeds supply.”

According to Ticketmaster at the time, “Beyoncé is distributing tickets in three different Verified Fan sales: BeyHive Presale powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan; Citi Presale powered by Verified Fan and the General Verified Fan Onsale. Additionally, there will be a Verizon Up Presale. Registration windows vary by city, so check the schedule below and be sure to note when the window closes for the show you’re interested in attending.”

In other words, if you tried to register for Verified Fan presale, you needed to see which group your city was a part of ahead of time. Group A registration was open until Feb. 2, with Group B registration previously scheduled until Feb. 9, and Group C until Feb. 16.

European dates started in May, and Beyoncé embarked on the North American leg of the Renaissance tour over the summer, including stops in Toronto (read our Renaissance tour review ), Los Angeles, Houston, and New Orleans. Though Beyoncé headlined a show in Dubai — her first concert in four years at the time — she didn’t play any songs from Renaissance , Rolling Stone ‘s No. 1 album of 2022 (“the musical highlight of the year”) and a frontrunner at the 65th Grammys .

Each school will be given one hundred thousand dollars and will select the student recipients. BeyGOOD’s total scholarship commitment during RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR will be one million dollars.

Although you might be worried that there are no tickets for Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour at Gillette Stadium left, you still have a chance to experience the concert.

According to Gametime , you would have to pay $6,535 per ticket on the higher end to get into Beyoncé's concert.

The tickets on the low-end are currently available for $190. 

That's not the case for transportation, as commuter train tickets to Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour at Gillette Stadium became available Tuesday at 11 a.m. and were sold out within 9 minutes.

With limited trains to the 68,000-person capacity venue, the $20 round-trip tickets are a highly sought-after way to avoid expensive rides or extensive traffic for the Aug. 1 concert.

Destinations for the Gillette Stadium concerts can be found on the  MBTA website , and tickets can be purchased on the  mTicket app . Parking lots will open at 4 p.m., while gates for the 8 p.m. concert will open at 5 p.m.

Ticket sales stopped once the maximum capacity was reached and no refunds or exchanges will be available due to high demand, according to a press release from Gillette Stadium media relations. The MBTA Commuter Rail and Keolis will provide train service, and all passengers need a ticket to board.

The special event train is scheduled to depart South Station at 4:05 p.m. on Aug. 1 and arrive in Foxboro one hour later. It will also make stops at Back Bay Station and Dedham Corporate Center.

Regular Commuter Rail tickets and passes are not valid for special event trains. While travelers can use regular Commuter Rail tickets to travel to the show using the regular Foxboro Station weekday Commuter Rail service, they will not be able to return on a special event train without a special event train ticket. The final Foxboro Station weekday Commuter Rail train departs for Boston at 10:20 p.m., while the special event train will depart 30 minutes following the conclusion of the concert.

The Commuter Rail’s Foxboro schedule will provide departure times and schedule updates.

Where can you get tickets?

Tickets for the North American leg of the tour will be available through Ticketmaster's Verified Fan program. Tickets will go on sale Monday, Feb 6, with an exclusive presale to BeyHive members, according to a Live Nation press release.

Verified Fan registration is now open. Once you register, you'll be placed in a lottery system that determines which fans get invited to purchase tickets. Registration alone doesn't guarantee tickets. If you're selected, you'll get an access code the day before tickets go on sale. Everyone else will be placed on a waitlist. According to Live Nation, this process is intended to help Ticketmaster weed out the resellers and verify your account so that actual fans get priority to buy tickets.

Will Beyoncé be using Ticketmaster like Taylor Swift to sell tickets?

Yes, but given what happened with Taylor Swift's Eras tour (and the fact it led to Congressional hearings about Ticketmaster ’s practices), it seems very likely both Beyoncé and Ticketmaster would want to avoid repeating that mess. That most likely explains the usage of the Verified Fan system.

Where will Beyoncé be playing?

The Renaissance World Tour will hit 40 cities in North America and across Europe. Stops include Paris, London, Amsterdam, Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston, and many more.

What has Beyoncé said about the Renaissance World Tour?

She just announced it was happening with a post on February 1. Her website didn't immediately contain any more details. But during the Wearable Art Gala in October 2022, she appeared to confirm it would start this summer, as a backstage tour with her mother Tina Lawson was up for auction at the event.

Beyoncé 2023 Renaissance tour schedule

The Renaissance World Tour still has 11 concert dates across eight cities, including three shows in Inglewood, California. In addition to one stop in Vancouver, Canada, the remaining shows will be held in the United States. Tickets are the most expensive in Beyoncé's hometown of Houston, Texas. Where to buy tickets for Beyoncé 2023 Renaissance tour

You can purchase original tickets to Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour through Ticketmaster , although only a select number remain for each 2023 date and location. However, the tickets still available on Ticketmaster are typically more expensive than those found on verified resale platforms such as StubHub and Vivid Seats .

The prices for standard tickets to Beyoncé's concerts from StubHub start at approximately $102 on the lower end to nearly $400, depending on the venue. Vivid Seats offers similar price ranges for standard Renaissance World Tour tickets, ranging from about $100 in Las Vegas to $375 in Houston. When considering VIP packages, the cost increases significantly on each purchasing platform.

How much are Beyoncé tickets?

The prices for original Beyoncé concert tickets have risen considerably since the end of the initial Verified Fan Sale through Ticketmaster. Additionally, the cost of an original ticket varies depending on the demand for a particular location and date.

Who is opening for Beyoncé's tour?

Beyoncé's world tour does not include any opening acts from other artists. Once the showtime begins for each concert date, it will be the Queen Bey herself who comes onstage.

There are no traditional opening acts for the 2023 Renaissance World Tour because Beyoncé is technically the opener to her own concerts. The time typically reserved for other artists at the start of the concert instead sees Beyoncé sing R&B ballads from her early discography, beginning with her Destiny's Child-era 2000 song "Dangerously in Love 2."

Approximately four songs are played in Beyoncé's "Opening Act" before moving into her "Renaissance" tracks. The concert is approximately two and a half hours long with 31 songs on the setlist, so Beyoncé's tour has more than enough hit music to fill the night.

Since Beyoncé opened with the international leg of her ninth solo tour, the music sensation will take her final bow of the concert series on October 1 in Kansas City, Missouri. Financial disclosure reports for Harris also showed that she was gifted tickets by ESPN to a college game featuring her alma mater

Kamala Harris received a noteworthy gift from Beyoncé last year.

The vice president, 59, was given tickets to Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour concert from the singer herself, according to financial disclosure reports released on Wednesday, May 15, and obtained by NBC News . 

The concert tickets were valued at $1,655.92.

Financial disclosures from President Joe Biden and Vice President Harris are released annually, and neither reported any conflicts of interest this past year, per NBC. 

Harris previously shared a glimpse into what she and husband Doug Emhoff wore for the concert held at FedExField in Landover, Maryland, on social media.

In the photo from August, she posed in a sparkly button-up top with white wide-leg pants and matching gold pointy-toe shoes and jewelry, while Emhoff opted for a black blazer over a white dress shirt and dark pants with navy blue sneakers.

“Thanks for a fun date night, @Beyonce !” Harris wrote on Instagram and Twitter (now known as X).

She also shared in an interview with PEOPLE in October that one of the songs on the Renaissance album, “ Break My Soul ,” was particularly special to her. 

“I just love that song,” Harris admitted. “I play it all the time. I think it’s one of the anthems for women . . . when [Beyoncé says] ‘you,’ you could be life, you could be a person, you could be a situation. You will not break my soul. I can endure.”

Harris’ financial disclosure reports also revealed that she received tickets to an HBCU Celebration Bowl courtesy of ESPN. The game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta featured her alma mater Howard University as they played against Florida A&M. Those tickets were priced at $1,890.

She and Emhoff reported an income of $117,000 from royalties and cash and retirement accounts, according to NBC News. Their financial holdings tallied about $2.89 million after selling and trading stocks last year, per the outlet.

As for the president and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden , they reported financial holdings of at least $1 million, and also shared that they owed between $375,000 and $815,000 in mortgages and loans, the outlet reported.

The annual public financial disclosure reports for 2023 − which the White House released Wednesday for both Biden and Harris − detail sources of income, assets and gifts they received. High-level federal officials are required by law to submit the reports.

Harris also reported receiving tickets valued at $1,890 for a Florida A&M University-Howard University football game in December. Biden did not report any gifts in his disclosure.

Biden and first lady Jill Biden reported having assets valued between $1.1 million and $2.6 million last year, virtually the same as 2022.

The assets, which are valued by ranges, not exact amounts, include money held in banks, investments, holdings and other accounts. The first couple in April released federal income tax returns showing they earned income of $619,976 in 2023 and paid an effective federal tax rate of 23.7%.

Biden's disclosure does not include any foreign income sources. House Republicans have pushed unsubstantiated claims in an impeachment inquiry accusing Biden of benefitting financially from his son Hunter Biden's overseas business dealings.

"Neither the President nor the Vice President have any conflicts of interest," the White House said in a statement.

Harris and Emhoff, who spent three decades practicing law as an attorney, reported assets in 2023 between $2.9 million and nearly $7 million, also about the same as last year.

The Bidens reported financial liabilities − which includes loans and a 30-year mortgage on their Delaware home − that range between $375,000 and $815,000.

The Bidens reported royalties totaling between just $2,702 and $6,402 from five books they have authored: "Promise me Dad" and "Promises to Keep," both written by Joe Biden, and "Joey: The story of Joe Biden," "Don't Forget, God Bless our Troops," and "Where the Light Enters," each written by Jill Biden.

Last year, the Bidens reported earning between $8,003 and $21,402 from those books.

Likewise, Harris' book royalties in 2023 also dropped significantly. Harris reported earning $234.14 in royalties from "The Truths We Hold," a memoir published in 2019, and $8,254 from "Superheroes are Everywhere," a children's book published the same year.

Harris also disclosed that ESPN gifted her tickets to a college-football game last year. Harris, a Howard University graduate, attended the school’s game against Florida A&M University in the Cricket Celebration Bowl in Atlanta. Those tickets were valued at $1,890.

The disclosures released Wednesday cover Harris, second gentleman Doug Emhoff, President Biden and first lady Jill Biden. The president did not report any gifts.

Harris has long been a fan of Beyoncé. She praised Beyoncé's latest release — the country-inspired album “Cowboy Carter” — on social media earlier this year , saying the singer has “redefined a genre and reclaimed country music’s Black roots.”

Harris’s attendance at the football game also was well-documented. During the game, which was Dec. 16 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Harris did an interview with ESPN in which she talked about her appreciation for historically Black colleges and universities.

The financial disclosures otherwise did not show many differences since Biden filed his previous one . The reports are mostly made up of ranges for the values of the president’s assets, income and liabilities.

Biden continued to report receiving proceeds from two books he wrote years ago, though the amount for each was categorized as “None (or less than $201).”

Biden listed 23 accounts under “Other assets and income,” the same number he had in 2022. Most of them created little to no income in 2023, also similar to the year before.

Jill Biden continued to report receiving a salary from Northern Virginia Community College, where she has been a professor since 2009.

She also attended college football’s HBCU Celebration Bowl, where her alma mater Howard University played Florida A&M, courtesy of ESPN, according to financial disclosure reports released Wednesday.

Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff went to  the Renaissance World Tour concert  at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, in August. She posted a picture of the two on Instagram. “Thanks for a fun date night, @Beyonce,” she wrote. The tickets were valued at $1,655.92, according to the disclosures. The December football game was played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Florida A&M won and the tickets Harris received were valued at $1,890.

Personal finance disclosures from the president and vice president are released annually. Neither reported any conflicts of interest.

President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden  together earned minimal income outside of what he makes as president and her teacher’s salary — between zero and $64,300 in royalties from their books, retirement accounts and IRA distributions. They owe between $375,000 and $815,000 in mortgages and loans. But the Bidens also reported financial holdings of at least $1 million, including retirement plans.

Aside from the concert tickets, Harris and Emhoff reported income of $117,000 in royalties and returns on cash and retirement accounts. The two also sold and purchased stocks and have financial holdings of at least $2.89 million.

A lawyer for former President Donald Trump requested a 45-day extension on his financial disclosure “due to the complexities of his financial holdings,” according to documents filed with the Federal Election Commission. The agency granted the request and Trump’s report is now due by July 1.  Trump filed an annual disclosure report last year .

Harris reports Beyoncé tickets from the singer as White House releases financial disclosures

The White House released the 2023 financial disclosures for both President Biden and Vice President Harris — including tickets to a Beyoncé concert that were given to the vice president from the pop star herself. 

Harris received tickets valued at $1,656 to a Beyoncé concert from the "Single Ladies" singer, according to her financial disclosure. Harris and her husband, second gentleman Doug Emhoff, attended the pop star's Renaissance World Tour in Maryland in August, although her financial report doesn't list the dates for the gifted concert tickets.

Harris, a graduate of Howard University and avid supporter of the school, also received tickets from ESPN valued at $1,890 to the Celebration Bowl football game last December, where Florida A&M University defeated Howard, 30-26. Harris cheered on her team in Atlanta from a suite.

The Ethics in Government Act of 1978 requires senior federal officials — including the president and vice president — to publicly disclose their personal financial interests, including gifts. 

There's little new in President Biden and first lady Jill Biden's financial report, which lists no reportable gifts. The president receives a $400,000 salary per year and a $50,000 expense allowance, under federal law . The first lady also earns an unspecified salary from her job at Northern Virginia Community College, where she teaches English. 

The Bidens participate in multiple retirement plans, and hold a variety of investments. They took out a $250,000 line of credit against their home in Rehoboth, Delaware, in 2022, which was documented in last year's financial disclosure report. 

The net worth of a president or vice president is difficult to assess, since assets are listed in ranges, not in specific dollar amounts. 

In 2021, Forbes estimated the vice president's net worth was about $7 million, partly thanks to second gentleman Doug Emhoff's earnings as a lawyer. Forbes estimated Mr. Biden was worth about $8 million in 2021. He earned much of his wealth in the four years between his time as vice president and president, largely through speaking engagements and a book deal. 

Emhoff has continued to earn an unspecified salary at Georgetown University, where he is a distinguished fellow at Georgetown Law School's Institute for Technology and Law Policy.

The second gentleman made a number of investment transactions in 2023, both purchasing and selling holdings. 

Harris has more than $1 million outstanding on her home mortgage, according to her financial report.

Kamala Harris' Renaissance Tour Tickets Were on the House Courtesy of Beyoncé

Beyoncé's Renaissance tour was one of the most in-demand live shows of 2023, bringing in millions of attendees including more than a few star-studded guests. In August, Vice President Kamala Harris attended the singer's first of two nights in Maryland, and according to annual financial disclosure report, her tickets were on the house - not the White House, but Beyoncé's House of Renaissance .

Harris brought her husband Doug Emhoff along as her plus one to the show, for which their tickets were valued at $1,655.92. "Thanks for a fun date night, @Beyonce," the VP wrote on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) the next day.

According to NBC News, Harris and Emhoff reported income of $117,000 in royalties and returns on cash and retirement accounts. They also have have financial holdings of at least $2.89 million. Like President Joe Biden, the Vice President didn't report any conflicts of interest in the annual financial report.

And the Renaissance tour wasn't even the most high-value entertainment outing gifted to Harris last year. The report also revealed that she attended Florida A&M's game against her alma mater Howard University during the HBCU Celebration Bowl. Her tickets for the football game were valued at $1,890.

Howard University ultimately lost the game - which Beyoncé could never relate to. Other guests at the Renaissance tour included Lizzo, Katy Perry, Chris Rock, Winnie Harlow, Natalia Bryant, Zendaya, Tom Holland, Toshe Phillips, Keke Palmer, Kerry Washington, Meghan Markle, and more. During the run, Beyoncé was joined on stage by special guests Kendrick Lamar, Megan Thee Stallion, and Diana Ross.

The tour setlist had its highlights, but Harris' standout was "Break My Soul." A few months after the show, she told People : "I just love that song. I play it all the time. I think it's one of the anthems for women . . . when [Beyoncé says] ‘you,' you could be life, you could be a person, you could be a situation. You will not break my soul. I can endure."
