Beyoncé: Renaissance World Tour

Following the wildly successful release of BEYONCÉ’s seventh studio album,  RENAISSANCE , the global superstar has announced  RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR  today, her first solo tour in over six years. Ticketing will begin Monday, February 6, 2023, starting with an exclusive presale to BeyHive members.

The 2023 tour, produced by Parkwood Entertainment, and promoted by Live Nation, kicks off on May 10, 2023, at Friends Arena in Stockholm, SE, making stops throughout Europe in Cardiff, Edinburgh, Sunderland, Paris, London, Marseille, Amsterdam, Warsaw and more. The tour then continues across North America with shows in Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston and more.

Beyonce bringing Renaissance world tour to Gillette Stadium

FOXBORO - Get ready, BeyHive. Beyonce officially announced her Renaissance world tour on Wednesday, and she's coming to Gillette Stadium.

The superstar singer-songwriter will perform in Foxboro this summer on August 1, according to her tour website . 

Tickets for the tour will go on sale Monday using Ticketmaster's "Verified fan" system. . . which caused a fiasco for Taylor Swift's tour when tickets went on sale last year as a result of overwhelming demand. 

It'll be a big summer for concerts at Gillette, with Swift , Ed Sheeran and Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks also slated to perform.

Clearly in response to the chaotic Taylor Swift on-sale last fall, tickets to Beyonce’s forthcoming “Renaissance” stadium tour will be released on a staggered basis. The superstar announced her massive Renaissance world tour back in February, marking Beyoncé’s first global solo tour in support of her seventh album of the same name. Ticket registration and sales for Beyoncé’s tour were previously split into three different groups, and now Beyoncé tickets are on sale for all remaining dates, including on Ticketmaster and Vivid Seats .

Renaissance World Tour 2023 North America Dates

Wondering if Beyoncé is playing a show in your area? Below are the remaining cities the Grammy winner will visit for the 2023 North American leg of the Renaissance tour . Beyoncé previously also added an additional three shows to the tour, including Atlanta (8/14/23), Las Vegas, (8/27/23), and Inglewood, CA (9/4/23).

Not surprisingly, Ticketmaster said it saw a massive demand for the Renaissance tour in a blog on its website. “Fan demand already exceeds the number of tickets available by more than 800% based on the registration numbers in the Group A cities. It is expected that many interested fans may not be able to get tickets because demand drastically exceeds supply.”

While we won’t give too much away about the Renaissance tour set list (though you’ve likely seen much of it on TikTok), you can hear more about the show in Rolling Stone Music Now ‘s podcast episode . It’s a deep-dive into what fans can expect during the concert. In short, you can likely plan to hear everything from deep cuts like opener “Dangerously in Love,” along with Renaissance tracks like “Alien Superstar,” “Cuff It,” and closer “Summer Renaissance.” Plus: “Love on Top,” “Crazy in Love,” “1+1,” and more.

When Are Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour Tickets On Sale?

According to Ticketmaster at the time, “Beyoncé is distributing tickets in three different Verified Fan sales: BeyHive Presale powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan; Citi Presale powered by Verified Fan and the General Verified Fan Onsale. Additionally, there will be a Verizon Up Presale. Registration windows vary by city, so check the schedule below and be sure to note when the window closes for the show you’re interested in attending.”

In other words, if you tried to register for Verified Fan presale, you needed to see which group your city was a part of ahead of time. Group A registration was open until Feb. 2, with Group B registration previously scheduled until Feb. 9, and Group C until Feb. 16.

European dates started in May, and Beyoncé embarked on the North American leg of the Renaissance tour over the summer, including stops in Toronto (read our Renaissance tour review ), Los Angeles, Houston, and New Orleans. Though Beyoncé headlined a show in Dubai — her first concert in four years at the time — she didn’t play any songs from Renaissance , Rolling Stone ‘s No. 1 album of 2022 (“the musical highlight of the year”) and a frontrunner at the 65th Grammys .

BeyHive Verified Fan Presale started Feb. 6 for those who registered in Group A, followed by Groups B and C.

The first round of the BeyHive presale arrived just one day after Beyoncé made Grammys history on Feb. 5. With 32 wins under her belt, Beyoncé broke the record for the most Grammy Awards in music history, winning the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album for Renaissance .

“I’d like to thank my beautiful husband, my beautiful three children who are at home watching,” Queen Bey said during her acceptance speech. “I’d like to thank the queer community, for your love, and for inventing this genre. God bless you. Thank you so much to the Grammys.”

While Renaissance didn’t win a trophy for Album of the Year , Beyoncé still took home a slew of other awards, including Best R&B Song for “Cuff It,” Best Dance/Electronic Record for “Break My Soul,” and Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Plastic Off the Sofa.”

“You changed my life,” Lizzo told Beyoncé during her Grammys acceptance speech for her Record of the Year win. “You sang that gospel medley, and the way you made me feel, I was like, ‘I want to make people feel this way with my music.’ So thank you so much. You clearly are the artist of our lives.”

It's not too late to buy tickets to Beyoncé's Gillette Stadium show

Although you might be worried that there are no tickets for Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour at Gillette Stadium left, you still have a chance to experience the concert.

According to Gametime , you would have to pay $6,535 per ticket on the higher end to get into Beyoncé's concert.

STAY IN THE KNOW

The tickets on the low-end are currently available for $190. 

That's not the case for transportation, as commuter train tickets to Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour at Gillette Stadium became available Tuesday at 11 a.m. and were sold out within 9 minutes.

With limited trains to the 68,000-person capacity venue, the $20 round-trip tickets are a highly sought-after way to avoid expensive rides or extensive traffic for the Aug. 1 concert.

Destinations for the Gillette Stadium concerts can be found on the  MBTA website , and tickets can be purchased on the  mTicket app . Parking lots will open at 4 p.m., while gates for the 8 p.m. concert will open at 5 p.m.

In fact, her first show – May 10 in Stockholm, Sweden – sold out Tuesday, prompting the singer to add an additional Stockholm show on May 11.

Back in the U.S., staggering on-sale dates have prevented ticket sale meltdowns  (so far anyway) as experienced when Taylor Swift put her tour tickets up for grabs last year .

Queen Bey, who Sunday night became the  all-time Grammy champion , announced her tour last week and immediately saw fan demand exceed the number of tickets by 800%.

Group A tickets are now on sale. If you're in Groups B and C, there's still some time to get a seat to what promises to be one of the hottest tours in years.

How much are Beyoncé tickets?

USA TODAY found face-value ticket prices that ranged from $62 and up. Club Renaissance tickets were closer to $1,000, and some floor seats were $300 and bowl seats were around $500. Ticket prices will vary according to city and venue.

Many artists have begun to give concert promoters the OK to make a portion of each show's best seats subject to Dynamic Pricing , which is an attempt to match demand with the supply of premium seats.

The end result can sometimes be prices that far exceed original face value, as some fans of Bruce Springsteen found when dynamically priced seats for his tour cost upwards of $4,000. Only about 12% of Springsteen tickets were sold this way, his management reported.

Beyoncé put tickets for her U.S. tour dates on sale in three groups: A, B and C. Here are the dates and deadlines for the next round of ticket sales.

Booking your holiday to coincide with a gig can be sensible, assuming the hotel prices don’t skyrocket before you book.

Fans also need to work under the assumption the show will go off without a hitch — if you’re booking flights to Canada, you better be certain the band will actually get on stage.

Given the backlash around the previous decision to do so, it’s unclear if Oasis will stick with the decision to turn on dynamic pricing.

They have been told by Which? to offer refunds to those who paid the inflated prices, which the brothers claim they had no idea about.

From  Beyoncé  to  Harry Styles , the pricing has blocked fans from seeing their favourite artist.

Oasis standing tickets went from around £150 to a whopping £350 during the UK general sale, with many abandoning hope of seeing the duo.

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) even launched an investigation into Ticketmaster over the sale.

The CMA said its investigation would include how so-called ‘dynamic pricing’ may have been used and would scrutinise whether the sale of Oasis tickets by Ticketmaster may have breached consumer protection law.

Ticketmaster pushed the blame onto the tour promoter Live Nation, however, both are owned by the same parent company.

In a statement, Oasis said: ‘It needs to be made clear that Oasis leave decisions on ticketing and pricing entirely to their promoters and management, and at no time had any awareness that dynamic pricing was going to be used.

‘While prior meetings between promoters, Ticketmaster and the band’s management resulted in a positive ticket sale strategy, which would be a fair experience for fans, including dynamic ticketing to help keep general ticket prices down as well as reduce touting, the execution of the plan failed to meet expectations.

‘All parties involved did their utmost to deliver the best possible fan experience, but due to the unprecedented demand this became impossible to achieve.’

Train tickets for Aug. 1 Beyoncé concert sold out in under two hours

The special event train is scheduled to depart south station at 4:05 p.m. and arrive in foxboro one hour later..

Tickets for the special event train service to Beyoncé 's Aug. 1 concert at Gillette Stadium went on sale via the mTicket app at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The tickets were round-trip and cost $20. They sold out one hour and 38 minutes later, the MBTA Commuter Rail announced on Twitter .

Ticket sales stopped once the maximum capacity was reached and no refunds or exchanges will be available due to high demand, according to a press release from Gillette Stadium media relations. The MBTA Commuter Rail and Keolis will provide train service, and all passengers need a ticket to board.

The special event train is scheduled to depart South Station at 4:05 p.m. on Aug. 1 and arrive in Foxboro one hour later. It will also make stops at Back Bay Station and Dedham Corporate Center.

Regular Commuter Rail tickets and passes are not valid for special event trains. While travelers can use regular Commuter Rail tickets to travel to the show using the regular Foxboro Station weekday Commuter Rail service, they will not be able to return on a special event train without a special event train ticket. The final Foxboro Station weekday Commuter Rail train departs for Boston at 10:20 p.m., while the special event train will depart 30 minutes following the conclusion of the concert.

The Commuter Rail’s Foxboro schedule will provide departure times and schedule updates.
