The announcement photo may look familiar to fans, as she donned the same glittery attire on the cover of her seventh studio album. Bey also added “Renaissance World Tour” on her Instagram bio, further accenting the news. Last week, Beyonce performed a full concert for the first time in four years at a luxury resort in Dubai in front of influencers and journalists. The 19-song set included a collaboration with her oldest daughter Blue Ivy as the two performed “Brown Skin Girl,” which earned them a Grammy two years ago for best music video.

Crowned a triumphant win by music lovers, Renaissance stormed to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last year and rattled off two Hot 100 top 10 hits, including her chart-topper “Break My Soul.” The dance-centric album also notched nine Grammy nominations, the most for any nominee for this year’s ceremony. Bey is looking to rack up more trophy wins, as she currently sits at a staggering 28 wins. Nominated for album of the year, song, and record of the year, Bey is facing some stout competition , especially in the former. The R&B juggernaut will tango against Adele, Harry Styles, Kendrick Lamar, Bad Bunny, and more for album of the year. A win in this category would serve as Beyonce’s first. The 65th Grammy Awards will occur Sunday night in Los Angeles at 8 pm EST.

As expected, Beyoncé has announced a 2023 world tour on Instagram, supporting her multiple-Grammy-nominated 2022 album, “Renaissance.” She also released the dates and cities on her official website.

The timing of the announcement, which comes just days before the Grammy Awards on Sunday, sparks speculation that the singer may perform or at least appear on the show. Beyoncé is the most nominated artist for the awards with nine, all related to “ Renaissance .” Sources tell Variety that her husband Jay-Z will perform with DJ Khaled on the show, most likely their nominated song “God Did.”

Beyoncé has said that “Renaissance” is a three-part project, so it’s possible that the next parts could be another album, a long-form video project or even the tour itself.

Beyoncé’s last full tour was the nearly six-month, 49-date “Formation” tour in 2016, which unusually featured no guest appearances until the final show, at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, where she brought out Kendrick Lamar and Jay-Z.

She did, however, stage an epochal “Homecoming” headlining performance at the 2018 Coachella festival — which was postponed from 2017 due to the birth of her and Jay’s twins — for which she was accompanied by a full marching band in a nod to historically Black colleges and universities. That blockbuster performance was later released as the “Homecoming” album and — via a three-project deal with Netflix that sources tell Variety is worth $60 million — a feature-length documentary. It seems possible that a future “Renaissance” video project could be part of that deal as well.

Beyoncé Announces Additional Dates For Her Highly Anticipated Renaissance World Tour

beyonce north america tour dates

After much speculation and months of waiting, Beyoncé is finally taking " Renaissance " on tour this summer! Queen Bey made the official announcement on Feb. 1 with a dazzling poster for the Renaissance World Tour posted on Instagram and tour dates listed on her website . The news caused so much excitement among fans that Beyoncé added additional dates the very next day.

Beyoncé's announcement comes a few short months after she first teased her world tour at the fifth annual Wearable Art Gala , at which the Grammy winner was in attendance. On Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, she raffled off a lavish concert package valued at $20,000, which included first-class plane tickets, a three-night hotel stay, two "Renaissance" concert tickets, and a guided backstage tour from her mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson.

While the exact amount that the package was auctioned off for has yet to be revealed, video footage from the event shows bids reaching $50,000 and more, as reported by Yahoo News . The only thing that's certain is that the first two tickets to the "Renaissance" tour were sold ahead of its wider sale. Now, fans will be able to purchase their own tickets starting on Monday, Feb. 6, beginning with an exclusive presale to BeyHive members, per a press release from Live Nation.

Beyoncé's Parkwood Entertainment-produced tour kicks off on May 10, 2023, at Friends Arena in Stockholm, SE, followed by stops throughout Europe and North America. It comes on the heels of her seventh solo album, act one of a three-part series, which arrived in July 2022, six years after she gave us 2016's " Lemonade ."

The 41-year-old Grammy-winning icon celebrated its release on her website , writing, "We did it!!! Thank you all so much for you love and support . . . This was years of experimentation. This was years of hard work, blood, sweat, and tears. I'm so grateful and it was worth it. I'm thankful that it was received and understood." She also hosted a star-studded Studio 54-inspired dance party at New York City's Paradise Club to mark the album becoming her seventh No. 1 solo album and the biggest debut from a woman artist this year, per Billboard .

Back in August, Beyoncé teased a clip from her first "Renaissance" music video, " I'm That Girl ," and most recently put on a grandiose live performance at the reveal of Dubai's Atlantis The Royal Hotel, which POPSUGAR was on hand to see, in January — marking her first concert in four years. She didn't perform any of her "Renaissance" songs, but now it's clear she's saving it all for her world tour.

Read ahead to find out everything we know about Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour, including dates and how to buy tickets.

Where can you get tickets?

Tickets for the North American leg of the tour will be available through Ticketmaster's Verified Fan program. Tickets will go on sale Monday, Feb 6, with an exclusive presale to BeyHive members, according to a Live Nation press release.

Verified Fan registration is now open. Once you register, you'll be placed in a lottery system that determines which fans get invited to purchase tickets. Registration alone doesn't guarantee tickets. If you're selected, you'll get an access code the day before tickets go on sale. Everyone else will be placed on a waitlist. According to Live Nation, this process is intended to help Ticketmaster weed out the resellers and verify your account so that actual fans get priority to buy tickets.

Register for Tickets

Citi cardmembers will have a special Citi Presale after the Verified Fan process. Get more details here . Verizon will also offer an exclusive presale through their customer loyalty program Verizon Up .

Will Beyoncé be using Ticketmaster like Taylor Swift to sell tickets?

Yes, but given what happened with Taylor Swift's Eras tour (and the fact it led to Congressional hearings about Ticketmaster ’s practices), it seems very likely both Beyoncé and Ticketmaster would want to avoid repeating that mess. That most likely explains the usage of the Verified Fan system.

Where will Beyoncé be playing?

The Renaissance World Tour will hit 40 cities in North America and across Europe. Stops include Paris, London, Amsterdam, Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston, and many more.

What has Beyoncé said about the Renaissance World Tour?

She just announced it was happening with a post on February 1. Her website didn't immediately contain any more details. But during the Wearable Art Gala in October 2022, she appeared to confirm it would start this summer, as a backstage tour with her mother Tina Lawson was up for auction at the event.

Will Beyoncé be performing at the Grammys (on February 5) and sharing more tour details there?

Not clear yet, but she is the most nominated artist at the ceremony . On January 21, Variety reported that “ talks with show producers are ongoing for a possible onstage appearance ” by Beyoncé.

What can we expect from the tour on stage?

Beyoncé hasn't shared that yet either, but given the artistry she put into her recent Dubai show , it's fair to say we can expect no less than excellence, elaborate costumes, and an incredible experience.

This post will be updated the moment more detail is released.

Beyoncé Announces Renaissance World Tour. Here Are the California Show Dates

Beyoncé's renaissance tour is taking place in north america and europe from may to september., by maria celeste alfaro • published february 2, 2023 • updated on february 3, 2023 at 9:14 am.

Beyoncé welcomed February with big news.

Queen Bey surprised her fans on Wednesday with an Instagram post announcing her world tour for 2023.

📺 Los Angeles news 24/7: Watch NBC4 free wherever you are

Beyoncé has not been on tour for a hot minute and fans are excited to see her perform.

The Renaissance Tour will take place in North America and Europe. Her first concert is set to take place at Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden on May 10 and her last stop will be at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Queen Bey’s tour is in support of her seventh album, Renaissance, which has been nominated for album of the year. Her song “Break My Soul” has also been nominated for record of the year and song of the year. A full list of her nominations can be found on the Grammys website .

While fans are excited for Beyoncé’s tour, some have expressed their concerns on TikTok and hope that it will not be a “Deja Vu.” Many have concerns that it will be similar, if not a repeat, of Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour.”

Last year in November, many "swifties" were not able to purchase tickets during the presale on Ticketmaster because of the website crashing.

Once again, Ticketmaster anticipates that there will be a high demand for Renaissance tickets.

This time Ticketmaster has laid out a new plan in hopes that it will be a much more successful and efficient process for everyone.

As usual, fans who want to purchase presale tickets will need to register for Verified Fan. This helps filter out any bots and potential resellers, giving fans a higher chance of purchasing tickets.

However, rather than releasing all the presale tickets at once they have come up with three different dates to purchase presale tickets.

There are three registration groups: A, B and C. Each group has a set of different states. To view in which group each state is, be sure to check on their website .

Fans are allowed to register on all three groups. They have a choice to register through three different registrations: BeyHive Verified Fan Registration, Citi Verified Fan Registration, or Verified Fan Onsale Registration.

All the registrations are currently open, but they do have their own deadline.

Group A is set to close on Friday, February 3 at 12 p.m. Eastern time.

Group B will close on Thursday, February 9 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time.

Lastly, Group C will close on Thursday, February 16 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time.

Keep in mind these registration dates can change at any time, so it’s best to check for any updates on their website .

When is Beyoncé Set to Perform in California?

According to her tour website she is set to perform three times in California:

  • August 30th at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco, CA.
  • September 2nd at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, CA.
  • September 3rd at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, CA.

She's also going to be performing in Las Vegas on August 26th at Allegiant Stadium.

Be sure to sign up for one of the Verified Fan sales in order to have access to presale tickets. For more information check out her tour website .

For many fans, seeing her perform is a sweet dream that they hope doesn’t break their soul when the presale opens.

Atlantis The Royal Grand Reveal Weekend 2023 - Beyonce Performance

B eyoncé’s fans have been waiting for this day: the pop megastar finally announced that she will embark on the long-awaited Renaissance World Tour. She uploaded a post to Instagram early Wednesday morning with the caption: “RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR 2023,” and her official website has been updated to show the tour dates. The tour starts in May in Sweden and will hit Belgium, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Poland, before she makes her way to North America. The first date stateside will be in Philadelphia, Pa., in July and the tour will hit the major U.S. cities before wrapping up in New Orleans, La., on Sept. 27.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Beyoncé (@beyonce)

Following the release of her seventh album, Renaissance , in July, fans have been itching for a tour announcement, in addition to music videos to accompany the songs. Beyoncé’s last solo tour was the Formation World Tour back in 2016 to support her sixth album, Lemonade . Following that, she went on the On The Run Tour with her husband, Jay-Z, in 2018 after releasing their joint project, Everything Is Love . The announcement of a new tour just before the Grammy Awards on Sunday raises suspicion that Beyoncé might be performing or, at the very least, attending the night’s festivities.

The singer is nominated for nine Grammys at this year’s awards ceremony, which are set to take place on Feb. 5 in Los Angeles. This year, she is up against Adele for multiple awards, including Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year. There has been speculation about whether or not Beyoncé would be performing ever since the nominations were announced. The last time fans saw her perform on a major televised stage was at last year’s Oscars ceremony, where she performed “Be Alive” from the King Richard movie for the first time.

Read More: 6 Takeaways from Beyoncé’s New Album Renaissance

Beyoncé most recently took the stage for a private concert at the opening of the Atlantis The Royal resort in Dubai in January. However, she did not perform any songs from Renaissance . Also, given that Beyoncé unveiled the album’s title on Instagram as “act [one],” her dedicated fanbase has been busy theorizing what acts two and three might be. Some have hypothesized that the tour would be act two and then a concert movie would be act three. Others have ventured to guess that this is a three-part album and that Renaissance was just the beginning.

Tickets for the concert will not be an easy get if Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is any indication. Beyoncé’s fans can click on the date they would like to attend to register for Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program and will then have to wait to see if they are given an access code to purchase tickets to the event. With Verified Fan and the “unexpected” traffic the pre-sale brought to the site, many Swifties likened the ticket-buying process to a warzone. The disastrous rollout drew ire from Swift’s fans and political officials alike. After the ticketing fiasco, the Senate held a hearing to look into whether Live Nation and Ticketmaster have a monopoly over the ticketing industry. This, coupled with the technical problems that Swift fans faced, have Beyoncé fans worrying that finding their way to an actual concert will be nothing short of an ordeal.

However, the tickets still available on Ticketmaster are typically more expensive than those found on verified resale platforms such as StubHub and Vivid Seats .

The prices for standard tickets to Beyoncé's concerts from StubHub start at approximately $102 on the lower end to nearly $400, depending on the venue. Vivid Seats offers similar price ranges for standard Renaissance World Tour tickets, ranging from about $100 in Las Vegas to $375 in Houston. When considering VIP packages, the cost increases significantly on each purchasing platform.

How much are Beyoncé tickets?

The prices for original Beyoncé concert tickets have risen considerably since the end of the initial Verified Fan Sale through Ticketmaster. Additionally, the cost of an original ticket varies depending on the demand for a particular location and date.

For instance, the cheapest price on Ticketmaster for a standard original ticket to the 2023 Renaissance World Tour is $91.83 for her Las Vegas, Nevada show on August 27. However, there are very few standard original tickets remaining for Beyoncé's concerts, so you may have better luck with verified resales.

Meanwhile, some original VIP packages, such as the Pure/Honey on Stage Risers, cost well over $3,000. At Beyoncé's August 30 performance in Santa Clara, the original VIP package costs $3,601. On the less expensive side, original Beyhive VIP Package prices are $1,401 in Seattle. Here's a breakdown of the various Beyoncé VIP packages from Ticketmaster's website .

Original prices typically come in much higher than resale prices for Beyoncé concerts. Many of the cheaper tickets are verified resales for nearer tour dates, suggesting you might find the best prices when it gets closer to the concert date.

Who is opening for Beyoncé's tour?

Beyoncé's world tour does not include any opening acts from other artists. Once the showtime begins for each concert date, it will be the Queen Bey herself who comes onstage.

There are no traditional opening acts for the 2023 Renaissance World Tour because Beyoncé is technically the opener to her own concerts. The time typically reserved for other artists at the start of the concert instead sees Beyoncé sing R&B ballads from her early discography, beginning with her Destiny's Child-era 2000 song "Dangerously in Love 2."

Approximately four songs are played in Beyoncé's "Opening Act" before moving into her "Renaissance" tracks. The concert is approximately two and a half hours long with 31 songs on the setlist, so Beyoncé's tour has more than enough hit music to fill the night.

Since Beyoncé opened with the international leg of her ninth solo tour, the music sensation will take her final bow of the concert series on October 1 in Kansas City, Missouri. While the remaining concert dates are primarily in the United States, there will be one last international show in Vancouver, Canada, on September 11, 2023.

Beyoncé Announces Renaissance World Tour

The star’s first solo tour since 2016 will start May 10 in Stockholm.

Beyoncé smiles widely at the Grammys podium, wearing a black dress with a plunging neckline.

For the first time since 2016 — a world before Beychella , Covid-19 and “Renaissance” — Beyoncé will headline a solo tour, the singer announced in a social media post on Wednesday.

Beginning on May 10 in Stockholm, and continuing in Europe through June before coming to North America, the Renaissance World Tour, in support of her seventh solo album, will run for at least 40 dates, largely in stadiums, according to dates posted to Beyoncé’s website . The tour includes one night at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey (July 29) and one at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. (Sept. 2) amid stops in Chicago, Philadelphia, Toronto, Atlanta, Phoenix and Miami.

Limited tickets for certain tour dates will go on sale beginning Monday for members of Beyoncé’s BeyHive fan club, followed by the staggered release of additional tickets by market, using a complex registration system for various tiers of buyer.

The tour, produced by Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment and promoted by Live Nation, will use Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan system , which aims to limit bots and professional scalpers, marking one of the first major tests for Ticketmaster since extraordinary demand for early tickets to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour last year led to fan backlash and regulatory scrutiny . At a Senate Judiciary hearing last month spurred by the botched presale, artists, fans and politicians cast Live Nation Entertainment, the concert industry giant that owns Ticketmaster, as a monopoly that hinders competition and harms consumers.

Beyoncé’s shows will be the singer’s first live events available to the public since the On the Run II tour with her husband, Jay-Z, in 2018, tied to the surprise release of a joint album, “Everything Is Love,” by the duo billed as the Carters. Beyoncé last toured alone behind her previous solo album, “Lemonade,” in 2016. Two years later, she headlined the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

That show — which went on to be released as “Homecoming” (2019), a live album and concert film — was called “rich with history, potently political and visually grand” in a review by the New York Times critic Jon Caramanica. “By turns uproarious, rowdy, and lush. A gobsmacking marvel of choreography and musical direction.”

In the years since, Beyoncé has surfaced intermittently, including with songs like “Black Parade,” which won a Grammy Award for best R&B performance, and “Be Alive,” which appeared in the movie “King Richard” and was nominated for an Oscar. Last year, in a taped performance, Beyoncé performed the song at the 94th annual Academy Awards.

But the singer made a return to the pop mainstream in earnest with the July 2022 release of “Renaissance,” a dance-floor-oriented album that she said was inspired by the L.G.B.T.Q. community and has spawned hits like “Break My Soul” and “Cuff It.” At the Grammy Awards on Sunday, Beyoncé is nominated nine times , with a chance to become the most-awarded artist in history.

Upon its release, the singer called “Renaissance” part of a “three act project” that she recorded during the pandemic. “My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment,” she wrote of the album, which was billed as Act I. “A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom.”

Major music touring has largely recovered, especially at its highest levels, since the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the industry trade publication Pollstar , touring grossed a record-setting $6.28 billion last year, up more than 13 percent from 2019, due in part to pent-up fan demand, inflation and major acts like Bad Bunny, Elton John and Harry Styles.

In addition to Beyoncé’s shows, this year will see blockbuster tours from artists including Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Metallica, Morgan Wallen and Madonna.

Last month, Beyoncé proved more polarizing than usual when she headlined the grand opening of a luxury hotel in Dubai, performing for an invite-only collection of guests, including influencers and journalists.

While some fans decried the optics of taking a major payday in a place that criminalizes homosexuality — “Beyoncé’s Dubai performance isn’t just an affront to LGBTQ+ fans, but workers’ rights in the UAE,” The Guardian declared — others noted that the singer’s set list did not yet include songs from “Renaissance.”

An earlier version of this article misstated the year Beyoncé headlined Coachella. It was 2018, not 2016.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds to Return to North America on ‘Wild God’ Tour Next Spring

By Kory Grow

With a new album, Wild God , out now, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds will tour North America next year. Although Cave has toured with his red-right-hand-man Warren Ellis and made solo appearances, the full band has not visited the U.S. since 2018.

The dates, which includes appearances at arenas and theaters, kick off in Boston in April with St. Vincent serving as support for that show and the next date at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. The tour, without St. Vincent, will then wend around the country over the next month before wrapping in San Francisco.

Tickets will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. local time on Friday, September 13th. Presales begin Tuesday at 10 a.m. local time. Full details are on a special website for the tour .

He added: “If you can go to a concert and be genuinely swept up by it, it makes you a better person, and it reaches up beyond… Music has the capacity to reach up beyond what we would normally expect from ourselves.”

The band is kicking off a run of European and U.K. dates later this month. Longtime Bad Seeds member Martyn Casey will not be with the group due to an illness on those dates. Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood, who supported Cave on a solo tour last year and guested on Wild God , is filling in.

The tour is in support of the band’s 18th studio album ‘ Wild God ‘. In a four-star review of the LP , NME shared: “Bad Seeds records are infamously loaded with gothic doom and gloom. Of course, this ain’t a poptastic LOLfest, and still coloured with the many shades of a life so challenging and weathered.

“But never has Cave been so freewheelin’ than on the giddy ‘Frogs’, “Jumping for love and the opening sky above” as “Kris Kristofferson walks by kicking a can in a shirt he hasn’t washed for years“. With a lust for life, the once-dark prince is letting the light in.”

Speaking to NME about the creation of the album and working with Cave , Bad Seeds member and the frontman’s frequent collaborator Warren Eills shared: “Clearly, Nick has a very personal slant on these records – particularly the last few. They have been very different to anything he’s ever done. He’s lost two of his kids; that’s something I could never understand. I’ve been around him when it’s happening and made the records with him, but I’ve never had something like that happen to me.

“All that I could do was go in and work with him on the records. You wade in and do what you can, and try to do the right thing by the person. The best that you can do is to be there. It’s been a real privilege to have been involved in those records and to be with Nick. ‘Ghosteen’ [2019] was such an ambitious record and a very particular record. All the talk of ‘the light’ is directly following Nick’s lead.

He added: “When we sat down at the start of last year, we’d just done a big festival run, the Bad Seeds were back together, and we’d played these really transcendental shows – they were really ecstatic at times. There was a real feeling that we wanted the music to move in that way. It’s really been driven by how Nick has been feeling.”

Elsewhere, it was recently announced that Radiohead’s Collin Greenwood will be playing with Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds on their upcoming tour .

The news came after the band announced that Martyn Casey wouldn’t be able to join the tour due to illness. Previously, Greenwood has played with Cave live on his recent solo tours  as well as several dates of the ‘Carnage’ tour with  Warren Ellis .  Greenwood also contributed parts to the band’s new album, ‘Wild God’, too.
