TEIDE TOUR 4 HOURS: Teide Tour of 130km (Fanabe – Vilaflor – Teide) with off road (+1 hour) and a free drink. If you are looking for a family buggy, we have 4 and 6 seater buggies for this tour only. The buggy models are as follows: Polaris rzr 1000 – 4 seats, Polaris rzr 1000 – 2 seats and Can Am Maverik t800.

TEIDE TOUR 3 HOURS: Jump in a trip with us and explore Teide National Park in an unusual way form Vilaflor. The buggy models are as follows: Polaris rzr 900cc.

THE COAST TOUR 3 HOURS: Visit the south coast of the island aboard a buggy. You will discover La Caleta de Adeje, El puertito, Playa paraiso y el Balito. The buggy models are as follows: CF Moto Ex Zforce 550.

OFFROAD TOUR 3 HOURS: Enjoy a 3-hour offroad experience from San Miguel with 30 minutes on open road. The buggy models are as follows: Polaris rzr 1000 – 4 seats, Polaris rzr 1000 – 2 seats and Can Am Maverik t800.

THE COAST TOUR 2 HOURS: Visit the south coast of the island  with 50% Offroad and 50% on the road. The buggy models are as follows: CF Moto Ex Zforce 550.

Please note that transfers to and from your hotel are included, in the area between Los Cristianos and La Caleta, and that the buggy can accommodate two people . An activity not to be missed under any circumstances, as a couple, with friends and even with family, because the children have a great time.

Excellent experience. Our tour guide Daniel was polite and very attentive. Went out of his way as they were six of us ( all friends together from the Uk) on the trip and he made sure we were all happy and kept together. The off road was excellent with various degrees of excitement. Highly recommend !!

• Buggy Details: Our buggies are top-of-the-line CFMOTO 1000 sport models with automatic gearboxes and CAN-AMS Maverick 1000R model with automatic gearbox.
• They undergo daily checks and maintenance to ensure optimal safety and performance and are fully insured.
• We have a fleet of up to 5 buggies at a time.
• Each buggy comfortably seats 2 persons. If you need more space, opt for the 4-seater buggy.
• Children are welcome as passengers as long as they are 1.20m or taller.

• Driving Eligibility: You need a valid car license to drive a buggy on our Teide buggy trips in Tenerife.
• Weather Considerations: Our Tenerife Teide buggy trips depend on good weather. If bad weather makes us cancel, you can pick a new date or get all your money back.
• Behavior Policy: If you’re drunk or act badly, you can’t join the Teide buggy tour, and you won’t get your money back.

Cancellation Policy for Club Canary’s Tenerife Top Buggy Adventures:

Booking your Tenerife Teide buggy trip with Club Canary is easy and gives you great prices. But remember, the deposit you pay when you book isn’t refundable if you cancel too late. Here’s what happens if you need to cancel:

• Cancel 24-48 hours before your trip: You get back 40% of your deposit for up to 2 buggies. For 3 or more buggies, this rule applies if you cancel 48 to 72 hours before.
• Cancel 12 to 24 hours before: You lose your deposit and pay a 35€ fine for each buggy.
• No-shows or cancel less than 12 hours before: You lose your deposit and pay a 70€ fine for each buggy.

We put these rules to be fair and cover potential losses from last-minute cancellations. Please respect these terms to prevent further actions. For cancellations, email us at [email protected] .

For standard and group bookings: You used to be able to cancel for free up to 72 hours (standard) or 5 days (groups) before your Top Buggy Adventure. Now, check our new policy above for details.

No Show Policy: If you don’t show up or cancel too late, you won’t get your deposit back and will be charged as per our new policy.

Feedback and Complaints: If something about your Top Buggy trip isn’t right, tell us on the same day. Since Club Canary won’t be there with you, talk directly to the Top Buggy office for any problems or if you want to talk about compensation.

Buggy Rental Tenerife Itinerary

To get the day started with your buggy rental, Tenerife will have you start off in the southern part of the island. We’ll be able to pick you up directly from your hotel before taking you directly to our nearby base close to Vilaflor village.

When we’ve taken you over to the base, we’ll explain all of the rules, how to drive, and some basic briefing for the buggy safari. Tenerife has plenty of changing landscapes, so it’s important to understand some basic safety rules to make sure you can focus on having an exciting – but safe – time.

After we get you suited up and ready, you’ll be able to get started on your buggy driving. Tenerife’s first stop is the back road to Vilaflor. This is a curvy road that will give you plenty of panoramic views up on your way to one of Spain’s highest villages. You’ll get up to over a mile above sea level.

Along the way, we’ll make a quick stop to see the Pino Gordo (The Fat Pine) – a stunning 800-year-old Canary pine tree. These Tenerife dune buggies are bringing you to see more than just island views – you’ll also be seeing some historical bits of nature along the way!

Then we’ll head over to our next stage on the buggy. Teide, Tenerife’s largest mountain, gives us spectacular views as we drive along and climb up it.

After this, you’ll get around 20 minutes of free off-road driving to test your control over these machines.

We’ll cross the enormous volcano caldera and find the ancient Rocks of García. These are interesting rock formations that mark the center of the Teide National Park. You’ll feel like you’re on another planet on this excursion buggy. Tenerife is known for its unforgettable volcano landscapes.

Finally, we’ll head over to another unusual spot that will make this excursion your new favorite to rent. Buggy Tenerife tours take you over to the northern side of the caldera to see the Minas de San José. This is a volcanic desert with a lot of history – NASA vehicles are tested here to simulate the Martian landscape!

Important to Know

These Tenerife dune buggies offer a spectacular – and unique – view of this island. You’ll see mountains, volcanos, ancient trees, and even get a taste of some of the best local products.

But to make sure you have a great time, there are a few things to keep in mind before booking.

For driving – you’ll have about 3 hours worth of buggy driving to rent. Buggy Tenerife tour time does not include hotel transfers, so please accommodate for approximately 5 hours in total.

This is for a guided tour only. We do not offer individual buggy hires in Tenerife.

In the summer, Tenerife can be exceptionally warm. We highly recommend bringing sunscreen, some water, and a hat. While the buggy is covered and shaded, you’ll still want some protection for the moments when you leave the vehicle.

The buggies include 2 seats that are suitable for single drivers and drivers with one passenger. It is more comfortable than a normal 4x4 (a quad) to mount, but it provides considerably more freedom than a convertible car.

The buggy expedition will begin at 09:00 AM. In the summer season, there will be an additional tour beginning at 16:00 (4 PM).

All drivers must possess a legal driver’s license and children may not be younger than 7.

We recommend booking your buggy safari at least 4 days in advance, especially in the summer season. Due to high demand – the earlier, the better. You can check the availability in the calendar here.

    Clothes: we recommend comfortable clothes of dark colour.

    Shoes: you are recommended to wear a footgear resistant to dirt, dust and moisture, preferably on a thick flat sole. Do not wear shoes with heels, with a slippery sole, or ones you are afraid of spoiling. You can take a spare pair of shoes.     Accessories: hats, umbrellas, raincoats, tourist thermos – all that is quite worth of taking with you for better comfort.
