The people working at Mechanic Shop they're lazy as hell acting like they got a lot of work to do, but they didn't have that many trucks but one or two and they were just slacking around trying to avoid customers and work. They got what they need what they need to get to now they just lack around.

9/15/22: This was a pretty clean gas station/souvenir shop, which made for a good bathroom break. Had cute decor for fun photo ops. One of the better stops for gas.

***update*** Keep in mind the original review was done at time of purchase and had already failed. Not even months into dealing with that the tip got stuck in the lighter. I managed to get it out and never used it. I recently came across the broke charger in the original case while cleaning and decided to use gorilla glue to bond it. So far it's held up but I shouldn't have to dealt with this at all. I wouldn't recommend buying this product. I've even seen reviews from folks having issues from their Auto Zone purchase of same charger.

Fast gas pumping, loaded up on some goodies for our Colorado trip and found a 3 port USB car charger that we needed. Bumped down from a 5 stars to 4 because not even 4 hours away and the face on the USB charger (white part) came off when I was trying to unplug one of the cords! For $20.00, I want my money back or a brand new quality one.

Definitely my go-to when stopping in Amarillo. I usually drop by this TA location when traveling back to Fort Worth via I-40 to 287 due to it being on the eastbound side of the road. That, and there is so much neverending construction within a 2-3 mile proximity that doing a U-turn via a westbound direction is not a viable option on somedays. It can be done, yet its a pain in the a**. This TA (like many others) has quite a bit of amenities for the traveler + trucker. There is a lounge area that has massage chairs, and showers available at a cost (usually $13). In addition, there is fast food + the usual assortment of deli & hot food, and a variety of cold drinks. Customer service is usually pretty good here- no complaints whatsoever. Located across the street from a Love's, this location is hard to beat.

Clean bathrooms. 3.15 a gallon gas. Friendly staff and a gated area for pets. A quick and safe spot.

Usually stop at this TA. They have Pizza Hut inside and really good wings. They bake them not fry them. Also there's Burger King and Popeyes inside. There used to be a restaurant inside as well but looks like they shut it down. They also fix semi trucks and tires and etc.

Signs up about masks being required in public, though not enforced (it is in other parts of the country, particularly Northern CO where it isn't even required yet, and further north and west of Amarillo). About half of the customers were wearing them, which is better than the Love's across the street, which we just left in hopes of finding a sugar free and a decaf coffee. Neither store had either. This store didn't have coffee lids either, so even if I wanted a coffee, I'm not really keen on spilling it everywhere as we drive. Otherwise the store was fine. A little bigger than the Love's, though less fresh food options.

Easy peasy. The car was on fumes so I appreciated the station being close to where I was and easy-to-use, plus reasonably priced. As of today, $2.09 is about as cheap as you can get without a special coupon or card or membership. Now my car's tummy is full, my tummy is full from The Big Texan Steak Ranch House and I can stop stressing from driving on empty.

The tenders were raw!!!! ‼‼‼‼‼ Don't eat here!!!! No one has even said anything about the raw tenders not even about replacing or refunding us!!!!! If the tenders are raw I'd be careful with eating the chicken. They are thicker and people don't realize they are eating raw food until they get sick!!! Management has not even said anything!!!

This is a great travel center, for both truckers and travelers. It's huge, well stocked, and has very spacious clean restrooms. Food: -Buck Horn Family Restaurant -Typical travel center food and snacks, cold subs etc.. -Popeyes Chicken -Pizza Hut -Burger King Game Room with a billiard table and video games. Laundry Room Showers Truck Scales Driver Lounge/TV room Parking: 185 Truck Parking spaces 24 Hour Service Shop 6 Service Bays.
