Thanks to my sister in America I got to know about this band and then later on I found out that they were coming to Denmark! I am beyond happy! They are so nice and down to earth and they even dedicated a song to us who were there! They played all of my favorite songs
OMG!!!! This was an awesome concert!!! I Came to know about this band from my awesome sister Marissa! and I had listened to their music a lot.. I mean A LOT before going to their concert and I must say this... THEY BLEW ME AWAY! They are awesome on cd but even better live! This was love!! They played all my favorite songs smile emoticon:) and they dedicated a song for us! And a fan Came on stage during bulletproof love smile emoticon:) they talked to us like we had been friends like forever! A couple of fans threw their bra's up on stage xD Vic and Jaime got them but decided to tease Mike by saying it was stuff to hang on his drums and after maybe put them on xD lol! And another fan FaceTimed a little during concert and Vic noticed it so he took the phone and said hi to the person on the other side of the screen and let the others and all of us say hi too smile emoticon:)
If I ever get the chance to see them live again I absolutely will

I confidently consider myself a gigging enthusiast, having been to dozens of shows and venues, seeing many of my favourite bands and leaving with a profound feeling of happiness that I'd just had a great experience. But no show has left an impact like PTV's at the Brixton Academy.
Their show was completely unique, fantastically vibrant, and filled with so much passion from the band, pouring every ounce of creativity into the stage design and setlist. If you missed this show, I'm afraid to say you missed a once in a lifetime opportunity to see a collective of diehard fans and a band who in return have put everything up fore their fans to create the greatest gig and night ever. I don't say this lightly.
I'm not their biggest fan, and don't even know half the lyrics to their songs, but the entire shows execution was a cut above the bands I know inside out and consider to be my absolute favourites. Don't miss these guys if you have the chance.
I saw pierce the veil preform in Stockholm, Sweden, the 15 november 2016. I had already seen them one year ago, when they toured with sleeping with sirens, so I had high expectations and knew that it would be an experience remembered for life. Me and my friend got really close to the stage somehow without pushing or anything. Pierce the veil, in my opinion have probably one of the best audience in the world. Everyone are really friendly and share the same passion for music. It took a while before they acually came out on stage. However, Vic sang both new and old songs, told some jokes on the way and even brought one from the audience up on stage! I think that Vic and his band are truely talanted when it comes to writting songs. I admire this band more than ever. With that being said, the concert was a blast, I'm sad that not all the tickets were sold out and if you are planning not to go then I think that you're missing out on an incredible experience. Hope to see this band again.

Pierce The Veil’s Vic Fuentes on their return, UK tour and ‘beautiful experience’ of Living the Dream Foundation
Share this with
Pierce The Veil have returned after six years out of the spotlight, and are feeling ‘grateful’ the fans are still there for them.
The rock band enjoyed major popularity on the scene since bursting onto the alternative charts in 2006, with six albums and countless tours under their belt.
Their biggest success, 2012 single King for A Day featuring Sleeping With Sirens’ Kellin Quinn, found renewed popularity this summer when pop queen Lizzo shared a video of herself lipsyncing to the track on TikTok , helping lay the foundations for PTV to announce their return.
The group took a break after the release of 2016 album Misadventures and now have a different line-up following the departure of founding member Mike Fuentes, who left in 2017 after accusations of sexual misconduct. No public charges were brought against him and the band said at the time they were ‘respecting his decision’ to step back.
Remaining members Vic Fuentes, Tony Perry and Jaime Preciado are now preparing for the release of upcoming album The Jaws Of Life, as well as a UK tour that will bring them across the island.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Vic contemplated the busy schedule PTV have coming up, with the album release, his birthday, and the due date of his baby girl coming within days of each other in February – and admits they didn’t know how fans would react to their return.
‘We’re happy to be moving forward, to have forward momentum in the band and in life in general. We felt stuck for so long, it’s nice to be putting out music,’ he says.
‘I’m very relieved and excited and refreshed. And grateful too.’
Vic admits they were ‘unsure what was going to happen’ when they announced their comeback, and has been bowled over with the ‘kind of support’ people are showing.
‘It started with King For A Day going viral all over again, just as we were getting ready to put out new music. That kicked things off in such a fun and exciting and unexpected way.’
‘We’re super grateful that everyone is listening and that our fans have stuck with us and we’ve somehow gained some new fans in this process. We’re so relieved and grateful to be back. We were away for so long, we have a new appreciation for recording and live shows, and even just being in the same room together is so nice.’
As well as the old-school fans who have ‘stuck with’ the band, Vic says they’re noticing more and more that new people have discovered their music, saying it’s ‘super exciting.’
‘At our shows, we might ask if there’s anyone in the crowd where this is their first experience, and like 75% of the crowd just goes nuts. It’s like, wow – all these people who have been waiting to see us live. It’s something that will make your band feel re-energised and fresh.’
The three-piece are preparing for their sold-out UK tour which will take them across the island, with dates in Wales, Scotland and England, including two nights in London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town, which Vic says is ‘really important.’
‘We always want to keep coming back to the UK and playing over there. It’s a really important place to us – these UK shows are important to us.’
And while the gigs take place months before The Jaws Of Life is set to release, Vic teases they’ll likely have some new music out before then.
‘The whole album is done so we’re just trying to choose which ones we want to reveal to everyone first, to give everyone a good overview of the vibe of the record,’ he explains. ‘That will happen pretty soon.’
‘We put out Pass the Nirvana first, we wanted to come out with something that felt confident and had some high energy. Something a bit aggressive, to kick the door down and remind people that we’re back. It felt like the right song.’
Pierce The Veil are making their return amid a huge revival of the emo scene, and recently performed at When We Were Young Festival alongside juggernauts such as My Chemical Romance and Jimmy Eat World.
Reflecting on the energy of the shows, Vic said ‘it’s such a testament to how long we’ve been a band, how die-hard our fans are, how we’ve become a part of each other’s lives in this big way. When We Were Young was a good example of how big the genre is, how powerful it is, how deeply ingrained it is in people’s lives and how important it is to people.
‘It was really cool to see. When we first started the band the whole thing felt underground, it felt like counterculture and subculture. But to see the lasting impact of it and what it’s done and how many people it’s touched, it’s pretty amazing.’
As well as fronting Pierce the Veil, Vic is co-chairman and CEO for charity Living The Dream, which helps create ‘dream days’ for children and young adults battling life-threatening illnesses, and helps them spend time with their favourite bands.
The band had been involved with the organisation ‘long before’ Vic took over the reins, and he describes it as a ‘beautiful experience.’
‘We would meet [these kids] and hang out with them and they would watch us from the stage. It was a really tangible beautiful experience. We became hooked on Living The Dream because it was so real and we got to see it. We loved it.’
As co-chairman, Vic’s work involves taking young people having ‘a really rough ride’ … ‘to meet their favourite bands, watch from stage, have a full VIP experience.
‘It’s all about giving them a once-in-a-lifetime experience, to give them hope, and inspire them and energise them.
‘It’s amazing for the guest, it’s amazing for the band, everyone has a good time, It’s really easy to do too. Because we’re in the industry, it’s a matter of texting a friend and asking them to meet this kid. It’s such an easy thing but it makes such a huge impact.’
https://www.instagram.com/p/CkRB8MFJv1S/?hl=en
Asked if there was a particular memory from his time leading Living The Dream that was special to him, Vic recalled teenager Emily, whose story he happened across while watching the local news in his home town.
‘I saw her parents were doing a charity motorcycle ride for her, as she was going through cancer. I was just like “I think we can help her, I think we can do a Dream Day for her.”
‘I reached out and explained the programme and said “if you ever want to meet anybody we’d love to help out.” And she told me she loves blackbear. So we hit up blackbear and he was totally down and we ended up doing a Zoom hang with the two of them. He invited her out to a concert and gave her all these gifts and stuff.
‘She was super special. She passed away about a month ago, she lost her battle. But she was so special and we were really happy to be able to do that and to meet her.
‘She really touched our lives and I’m sure she did blackbear’s as well.’

Last year, the duo spoke to NME for The Cover and opened up about their willingness to evolve. “Reinventing ourselves and doing what we want and feel like, that’s what drives us,” Hardy told us. “We’re so excited about the limitless possibilities of what we can create, especially together, and so excited about where our sound is gonna go next.”

Speaking to NME in March of 2023, Wasia Project discussed why they had just started to play live gigs even though they had been making music for a while. “I’d say that we’re currently at our creative peak, in that we released the first EP and performed it live, which really kicked things off for us. It’s like we’ve got this binder full of ideas all the time; it’s always bouncing and we always feel like we need an outlet to share our creations. Our minds are at a point where they’re feeling really fresh and full of anticipation for what lies ahead for us,” Hardy said.

The gang will venture to Africa in a Lancia Montecarlo, a Ford Capri 3-litre, and a Triumph Stag, for a stunning road trip through beautiful and sometimes challenging landscapes.
To the strains of He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother, the trailer says: “After 22 years, the end has finally come,” as we see plenty of laughs between the three former Top Gear pals.
“So, for the last time, here we go,” Jeremy says.
Have a look here:
The last episode brings an end to eight years of The Grand Tour, with the show first having premiered in 2016 and the most recent special having aired in 2024, reuniting the lads in the remote African country of Mauritania, following in the footsteps of the Paris-Dakar rally.
When Richard Hammond joined The Chris Evans Breakfast Show this year, he said. “We set out to make a car show and it grew into something we didn't expect. So when the time comes to stop, we want to be the ones to say ‘stop’. Rather than any one of us, for instance, getting us massively fired. Or one of us die in a crash, or any other way of ending.”
On when to call it quits, he added: “We'll know.”
Meanwhile, in a recent chat with virginradio.co.uk , Richard spoke about being a business owner. The Richard Hammond’s Workshops star exclusively told us that not only does he “not turn” to Jeremy Clarkson for business advice, but he described himself and Clarkson as “idiots” for trying. In related news, Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper has warned fans that Diddly Squat might be facing a “difficult” season ahead.
Taking to Instagram, the agricultural expert shared an update to fans writing: “I can sense this being an interesting and difficult season!” Read more here .
