MIKA announces UK ‘Apocalypse Calypso’ dates

MIKA has announced the UK dates for his ‘Apocalypse Calypso' tour, which will arrive on our shores in April 2024.

The run will stop off at London’s Eventim Apollo, The Brighton Centre, Manchester’s O2 Apollo, and Dublin’s 3Olympia. The tour news comes on the heels of MIKA's new release ‘C'est la vie', the first single from his upcoming French album due for release on 1st December 2023 via Island Def Jam France.

Presales for MIKA’s UK tour dates will start Wednesday 27 th  September, at 10am local time, with general on-sale following Friday 29 th  September, at 10am local time, via  LiveNation.co.uk .

Throughout his career, MIKA has crafted a world of gritty romance amidst the joy and playfulness of technicoloured alternative pop. He’s a renaissance artist of impeccable intention who’s name has rightfully found its way alongside legendary acts such as Elton John, Freddie Mercury and Prince.

MIKA opened his pop career in 2007 with the defining single ‘Grace Kelly', which went on to sell over 3 million copies worldwide and was the second British single ever to top the chart on downloads alone. His second album ‘The Boy Who Knew Too Much' released in 2009 continued the trend, making it into the top ten in over 10 worldwide and included the hits ‘We Are Golden', ‘Blame It On The Girls' and ‘Rain'.

🇮🇹 Mika announces European tour

Eurovision 2022 host and European pop star MIKA has announced 2024 tour dates across Western Europe. Locations on the “Apocalypse Calypso” tour include France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany.

The Apocalypse Calypso Tour

Mika has been wrapping up tours across Southern Europe, the United Kingdom, and East Asia this summer. This new tour will serve as promotion for his upcoming French-language album.

Tickets for the Apocalypse Calypso tour will go on sale on 15th September, at 10am French time.

Mika and his Eurovision experience

Mika is a singer, songwriter, and artist who has been releasing music since 2007. He was born in Lebanon and raised between Paris and London, but in recent years has been most active in Italy. In Italy, he was a judge for the Italian version of the X Factor and had his own variety show, “Stasera Casa Mika”; he hosted the Eurovision Song Contest alongside Laura Pausini and Alessandro Cattelan in 2022. He is best known for his 2007 album “Life in Cartoon Motion”, which contains cult-classic songs like “Lollipop” and “Grace Kelly”.

What an amazing show!!!!! Mika was such an entertaining performer and had a beautiful voice and energy. During one song he jumped into the crowd by himself and during another he silenced the crowd and sang without a microphone!! Every song was performed with equal enthusiasm. I had such a fun time I miss it already

Mika is amazing.

He put on the most wonderful show that I have ever been to, his energy is infectious, they way he interacted with the crowd was outstanding, but most of all the surprises he added to his show were amazing - I felt truly blessed to have been there for it.

He Is a real animal on the stage. He literally Jump and run for Two hours whitout taking a breath. He also run into the public of the parterre With no bodyguards during a Song , threw balloons into the forum and used a piano whic somtimes rised up thanks to a platform. He also very good at singing. At a certain point he dropped the microphone,sileced the public and sang Happy ending in the hardest way possible
